LMDefaultLayout and LMDefaultSkin environment variables not working?

Like the title says, I haven't been able to have these two variables working, neither with my custom Layout and Skin or with the "Classic" or "Top Menus" layouts and "Oracle" skin like the documentation shows as an example.
The objective is to have my custom Layout and my custom Skin set as defaults when a new user is created.
Has anyone made these variables or an optional solution work for this purpose?

I have a default instance and the stop/start methods are not defined inside it. After the refresh and restart, I still don't see Java using the /usr/jdk/latest JDK. Does anyone know why?
Do those variables need to be defined inside the "default1" instance? If so, how do I do that with svccfg?

That won't work. LoadLibrary occurs in the JVM environment. As I said you can't change the JVM environment via exec().
If the shared library needs something in the path then you are going to have to set the path before your application starts up.
If you just need to load the library from someplace that is not on the path then you should be using System.load().

Filepath variable not working

Hi I have a page builder form and when the user is finished building her page, she can click "Write File" and the file will actually be saved to a particular folder as an html file. All this worked fine until I wanted to try and save these new files to a network shared folder so that our employer could copy the files over to his pc and review them before uploading to the remote server.
Here is the new file path variable and the path I assigned to it.

Here is the original code that worked perfectly.

That worked? That looks like a mapped folder and those usually do not work because ColdFusion runs as a different user then the whomever might have mapped the folder?
What usually works is a UNC path more like "\\webdes-pc\newPageFiles\" after ColdFusion has been configured to run as a domain user that has the permissions to that network path rather than the default "localSystem" user which usually has NO network permissions.
Actually you might be right. I think I have a folder named webdes-pc in my C drive as well. I had the file path set as \\webdes-pc\newPageFiles\ as you suggested before, but might have not had the last backslash on there either. So I think when I get to work tomorrow I will try this path again. Thanks!

I've been trying to use Profile Manager to specify user e-mail accounts on Mac devices (eg, MacBooks) but I've been encountering a couple of problems. I've tried searching around and didn't find any answers.
First of all I'm running the latest Mountain Lion Sever. All clients have up-to-date Mountain Lion too.
Problem 1: Payload variables not working
I'd like to automatically setup Gmails on the MacBooks. Now the users' email addresses are already set to their gmail accounts. So all I have to be able to do is use the %email% payload variable as the username when I go set up the (IMAP) mail accounts in the Profile Manager. However, when I download the profile to the device, it does not convert the payload variable; ie, it tries to log into gmail with the username '%email%'. Other payload variables do not work either.
Oddly enough, the payload variables work as they should with iOS devices...
Problem 2: Profiles stuck on 'Sending'
After enrolling the devices, it seems a hit and miss whether the MacBook downloads the correct profiles from the server... Is there a way to force on the MacBook to update/refresh its profiles? Also, when I update profiles within Profile Manager, the changes are pushed to iOS devices fine but not to MacBooks. Those tasks are all stuck on Sending... Logging in, restarting etc. sometimes helps but not always... Is there a reason why?

I have Cisco TelePresence SX10 and content sharing is not working when I am dialing through the bridge, I can share the content if I drag and drop from RMX, but if schedule the call in Resource manager or manually dial in from device the content is not going to other hand, I have tried to turn off encryption as well but still same issue. can you please help me out with this. I am from Lion co and purchased sx 10 recently.

Can you please provide us with a little more information on your systems and configuration / topology, such as, what call control are you using (Cisco VCS, CUCM, other?). what type of "Bridge" are you using (is this a Cisco MCU, or Cisco TelePresence Server, or other device?), what versions of the software are on each of the devices, etc. The more information we have about your environment will help us assist you better. But saying that, if all your core equipment isn't Cisco, you may have more luck in the forums for the manufacturer of such equipment (ie Polycom's Support Community).

then you urgently need a bigger disk.
Btw i never notice Java installing 2 different JRE's
so i dont think it will harm remvong one, make sure
you dont delete one you are using :)I assume that you don't run MS os; that's the only one that installs 2 JRE's.
To OP: This has been discussed by Sun, but no changes have been announced. Maybe the relocation in version 1.5 of the private (aka developer) code to the Program Folder is a start of this change?

- After charging for 1/2 hour or so, does iTunes see the iPod? If yes, restore the iPod from backup.

HDMI and PC inputs do not work on my 37AV502R LCD TV

HDMI inputs and PC inputs do not work consistently
my Apple TV (HDMI) and computers 2 on HDMI, 1 on PC, display just fine n the TV but after a while the TV goes blank,
the time is not consistent sometime a few minutes, sometimes a few hours,
but every time, after the TV goes blank there is nothing I can do, the TV just stays blank, if I unplug and turn back on the TV displays the image for a split second and goes bank again,
I thought it might be an overheating thing, however sometimes the PC input will stop working but the HDMI input (either one) will work fine,
has anyone else had this issue?

I'm having the same issue. As soon as I connect it to VGA or HDMI, it goes into a cycle of flashing on-and-off. A guy on youtube had the same problem (posted a video identical to my problem) and reportedly fixed it with a firmware update.
The problem: the US website doesn't have a firmware download. The canadian website does, but the update is from 4/2009, and the manufactured date on the back of my TV is 5/2009. (I also tried the update, but it didn't fix the problem).
When I call Toshiba to ask about the firmware update, after they confirm I am out of warranty, their automated system keeps hanging up on me. So frustrating.

You must enable iTunes Match on the new computer.
