Load command in Oracle

Hi,
I have some data file exported from DB2.
I ever tried to use the following command to do the data loading on isql*plus,
LOAD DATA INFILE 'C:\tmp_0123\aba.del' APPEND INTO TABLE dclsuser1.aba FIELDS TERMINATED BY ';' (BANK_NUM, BANK_NAME, BANK_ABA_NUM, BRNCH_TYPE, BANK_ADDR_LINE1, BANK_UPD_DATE, BANK_ADDR_LINE2, BANK_CITY, BANK_STATE, BANK_ZIP_CODE, BANK_PHONE, BANK_FAX, MESSAGE=, BANK_EFT, CLAIM, UPDATE_TIMESTAMP, UPDATE_USER, BANK_ZIP_CODE1, BANK_ZIP_CODE2)
However, there is an error message shown as following,
SP2-0851: Command beginning "LOAD DATA ..." is not available in iSQL*Plus
Where is the problem?
1. Is the command is wrong? How can I modify above one?
2. I execute in wrong place? If so, where should I run this query?
Many thanks,
J.

Load Data is not an isql command; it is a SQL*LOADER command.
Commonly you'll find load data in the CONTROL File for SQL*Loader.
The sqlldr executable calls this CTL file to get information what to do.
If you used OMWB to generate the CTL file OMWB also created a batch or shell script for you to call sqlldr. You should edit the *.sh pr *.bat file according to your env; then run the shell/batch script.
If you're not familiar with SQLLDR you might have a look at Metalink notes like:
Article-ID: Note 174237.1
Title: A quick overview of the syntax in SQL*Loader
In addition the documentation of OMWB will give you more details as well.

    Welcome to the forum.
Oracle 9i is a database version from the previous century.
    But:
You can read about DBMS_JOB in the 9i documentation here:
    http://www.oracle.com/pls/db92/homepage
Or do some searches on http://asktom.oracle.com
Anyway: if you want the job to run once, then omit the interval...
Oh, and don't forget to read {message:id=9360002} from the SQL and Pl/SQL FAQ here:

I tried all possible ways with google help but still i am facing the same issue.Kindly check and suggest to solve the issue.
    Thanks in advance.
    Vijay.

    Hi all,
I give you the clear details about the issue what i am currently facing,
    1. I installed the 11g (11.2.0) database alone(No EBS) in my local vmware machine.
    2. Created my ORACLE_HOME under /u01/oracle/prod/tech_st/product/11.2.0/db_1 directory after that i tried to change my home location from /u01/oracle/prod/tech_st/product/11.2.0/db_1 location to /u01/oracle/db/tech_st/product/11.2.0/db_1 location, like created /u01/oracle/db directory and moved files from /u01/oracle/prod location.
    3. I changed my bash_profile and exported home with the modified location also deregistered an old home and registered the new home.
    4. When i am issuing echo $ORACLE_HOME it is showing the current home location and ORACLE_SID is same what i created before.
    5. But when i am trying to create one more db using DBCA utility it is through the above error.
Please suggest me is it possible to change the location after db creation or any extra steps i have to do for this issue.
    Thanks.

Does anyone have any idea what happened during the upgrade that would have caused emctl, emca, etc. commands to stop working?

Don't know why it has not re-created the OC4J container.
Do you have anything in /opt/oracle/edmdb/product/10.2.0.4/oc4j/j2ee/
    Have you tried re-creating it?
    ./emca -config dbcontrol db
    If not try re-running dbua.

    Hi,
It's because .bat (or .cmd) files are scripts and not executables and are interpreted using the command line executable - which is normally cmd.exe (although you can buy others).
So you need to call cmd.exe passing the bat file name as a parameter, something like
    cmd.exe /c batchfilename
Without the /c you will never get a response.
However, this brings us to the bizarre conclusion that you are going to:
    call cmd.exe (a shell interpreter)
    to launch a batch file
that calls cygwin (another shell interpreter)
    which then runs ls
    When shouldn't that just be:
call cmd.exe to run the dir command
Or better yet, If you are just after a file name listing and you seem to understand Java stored procs, why not just write a JSP to list the contents of a directory? No problems with OS dependant commands, scripts and 3rd party interpreters. Plenty of examples of that out on the internet as well.
    HTH

  • Unable to load command 4

    Hello,
I am quite rusty with Robohelp, but trying to get back up to
speed. wWhen I open a project, the following message is displaying:
    Unable to load command 4.
It doesn't stop the project loading, I haven't tested to see
if it has any impact when I edit a topic, but does anyone know what
is causing this? I have searched the online help, but this error is
    not mentioned..
Also, robohelp has changed quite a bit since I last used it
& I am struggling to come to grips with some of the folder
layouts - I understand the projects are now .xpj, but the root
level of each sub folder contains a.fpj file. I read somewhere that
this allows multi user access to the same project, but can't see
how this works - I certainly couldn't open an individual folder
using this file anyway! Can anyone point me to documentation that
explains what this is about & what it does or doesn't do? or
    quickly explain this for me?
    many thanks
    Maxine

    Welcome to the forum
Are you using RH under Vista? That error message was reported
yesterday in another post by someone who was.
The project is opened through the XPJ file instead of the MPJ
in older versions. The FPJ file is not there for you to use in any
way. I believe it is used by RoboHelp in connection with multi
authoring and source safe. It is not a file to be used or touched
    by you.

  • How can I use custom WLST commands for Oracle SOA Suite in Weblogic

    Hi There,
I'm trying to view and search the weblogic log files using WLST on a Solaris/Unix system.
I have come across this "custom WLST commands for Oracle SOA Suite" and thought of using the custom logging commands to get my task done.
However, my WLST shell is not recognizing the commands and giving me the NameError!
    wls:/devDomain1/domainRuntime> listLogs()
    Traceback (innermost last):
    File "<console>", line 1, in ?
    NameError: listLogs
I tried the commands listLogs, displayLogs, getLogLevel & setLogLevel but in vain!
I have followed the instructions as per the oracle recommendation of using Custom WLST commands (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E29597_01/core.1111/e10105/getstart.htm#ASADM10692) as below
    - Launched the WLST shell from Oracle Home.
    cd ORACLE_HOME/common/bin
    ./wlst.sh
    - Tried to run the listLogs command from domainRuntime()
I would like to know if I need to import any additional libraries to run the custom WLST commands for Oracle SOA Suite in my WLST shell?
I have only weblogic 10.3.1 server installed on my Solaris 10 machine on which I have deployed the OSB application software.
There is no SOA Suite installed.
Or is there any other way I can browse the Server Log file and get the list of log messages? Basically I would like to use this feature in my script to customize it according to my requirement of listing specific error logs which I can work it out if I know how to make these commands work.
Please advise if this is possible and how?
    Cheers.
    Satish

    Hi,
I found the problem. It was because of the connection string. The format was different for oracle tables.
    PFB the format
    *cnss.open"Provider=OraOLEDB.Oracle.1;Data Source= servername:port/SID;Database= DB;User Id=aaaa;Password=aaaa;"*
And thanks *SH* for quick response.
    So closing the thread......
    Thanks,

You should ask Oracle support for help. There's only one entry for this error stack (Bug 3361288 - Export of XMLSCHEMA may fail with ORA-24324 in UTF8), but it should have been fixed for your DB version and , as far as I can see, you don't have a Unicode database.

  • Re: the similar decode sql command (in Oracle) in ABAP

    Dear ABAP Expert,
Could you let me know where there is a similar decode command in Oracle in ABAP?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
You can specify case statement between SELECT and ENDSELECT. However this may lead to performance problems. Please take care.
    Example:-
SELECT FIELD1 into LOC_FIELD FROM TAB.
      CASE LOC_FIELD.
        WHEN 'ABC'.
          WRITE: 'ABC'.
        WHEN OTHERS.
          WRITE: 'REST'.
      ENDCASE.
    ENDSELECT.
    Thanks and Best Regards,
    Dinesh.

  • I am trying to create a new profile, but I cannot open profile manager in Mac OS 10.5.8. I get the following error: "dyld: unknown required load command 0x80000022 Trace/BPT trap".

    Hello,
I am trying to repair my Firefox profile, but I cannot open profile manager in Mac OS 10.5.8. When I follow the directions for opening profile manager in my Terminal utility, I get the following error: "dyld: unknown required load command 0x80000022 Trace/BPT trap".
At this point, Firefox (v 5.0 or previous versions), is not running.
    Thanks.

[http://asqueella.blogspot.com/2010/12/dyld-unknown-required-load-command.html Here's an Explanation]. Basically you need to add "arch -i386 " at the beginning of the command because 10.5 is 32-bit only and more recent versions of Firefox default to 64-bit.

  • OS Command in ORACLE LINUX platform

    Hi All,
I am facing the same issue while using OS Command in ORACLE LINUX platform.
    I am using the command as ls -1 /home/oracle/data > /home/oracle/data/All_FILES_NAMES.txt
Its working in terminal, But not in ODI procedure.
Its throwing error as 'wrong process return code-2'.
    Kindly help me.
    Thanks,
    Haree

CKMs moves the error records to E$ table. In your case I believe you can achieve it through procedure by having first step to copy the error record in MISSED_REC table and then have a second step to read from this tabel and send our email through oditool.
