Load Sales Order from Xml file

Hi,
I want to load a sales order from xml file. How can I do so? Where I'll get the xml schema for Sales Order or other documents (delivery,invoice etc)?
Plz reply with code and xml file.

When I'm going to load SO from xml file, it's showing an error:
"The connected value 0 was not found in table Uasge of Nota Fiscal".
What is this table for? Which attribute is related with this table?
How can I find out that?

Three options come to my mind.
Option 1: Use SAP transaction SXDA_TOOLS (Object Type BUS2032), Program Type (BAPI) and Program (CREATEFROMDAT2).
Option 2: Use SAP transaction SXDA_TOOLS (Object Type BUS2032), Program Type (DINP) and Program (RVINVB10).
Option 3: Translate the xml to IDoc so that ORDER04 / ORDER05 Idoc can be used to create Sales order (WEDI transaction).

Data Load from XML file to Oracle Table

Hi,
I am trying to load data from XML file to Oracle table using DBMS_XMLStore utility.I have performed the prerequisites like creating the directory from APPS user, grant read/write to directory, placing the data file on folder on apps tier, created a procedure ‘insertXML’ to load the data based on metalink note (Note ID: 396573.1 How to Insert XML by passing a file Instead of using Embedded XML). I am running the procedure thru below anonymous block to insert the data in the table.

I am getting below error after running the anonymous block.
Error :     ORA-22288: file or LOB operation FILEOPEN failed”

           the necessary privileges are set for the specified operation. If
           the error still persists, report the error to the DBA.
I searched this error on metalink and found DOC ID 1556652.1 . I Ran the script provided in the document. PFA the script.
Also, attaching a document that list down the steps that I have followed.
Please check and let me know if I am missing something in the process. Please help to get this resolve.

Need to create sale order from the flat file & mail has to be sent

I have a requirement to create a sale order from a flat file and once the oder is created, mail has to be sent to customer as well as to internal user with the order details. I want to know how this process can be implemented and what adapters are needed to execute this.

HI Jai,
You need to create two interfaces as file will be sending the Sales oreder details that you need to capture in IDOC or RFC and then have to trigger to create the sales order. For this Standard BAPIs are also available.
These RFC or BAPIs will response with Sales order details that you need to divert to Mail adapter with the use of BPM and also have to go for Async to Sync bridge.

MailAdapter <- XI (BPM) <--- BAPI/RFC (Response)

If you will use IDOC then In IDOC inbound processing you need to trigger for Sales order creation and then have to send the Sales Order generated IDOC as an Outbound to Mail Adapter

Error when loading data from xml file

Hi,
I'm trying to load data into a table from XML file using ApEx DATA UNLOAD/LOAD interfaces .
ApEx version is 3.0.1 .
I'm getting this error:
ORA-31011: XML parsing failed ORA-19202: Error occurred in XML processing LPX-00222: error received from SAX callback function
How to find cause of the error ?

1. Create a Infosource(ZIS), with transfer structure in accordance with the structure in the XML file. (You can open the XML file with MS Excel.This way you can get to know the structure).
2. Activate the transfer rules.
3. After activation ;from the Menu Bar , Select Extras>Create BW Datasource with SOAP connection.
4.Now Activate the Infosurce again, this creates an XML based Datasource(6AXXX...)
5.These steps would create two sub nodes under the Infosource(ZIS).
6.Select Myself system and create a data package and execute it run in Init mode(without Data Transfer).
7. This would create an entry in RSA7(BW delta Queue)
8. Again create another Delta Infopackage under it, and run it. Now the Datasource(6AXXXXXX..) would turn green in RSA7.
9.In Function builder(SE37) select your FM( do a search ,F4, on the datasource 6AXXX....) .
10.Inside this RFC based FM , from the Menu Bar select Utilities>more Utilities>Create Web services>From Function module.
11.A wizard will guide you through the next steps .
12.once this is done a Web serrvice would be enabled in WSADMIN. Select your FM and execute it.
13.From here you can upload the data from XML file into BW delta queue.

Uploading open sales orders from sap

hi all,
i need to upload open sales orders from legacy to sap. pls advice what steps need to be followed for the same.
1) how we will we download open sales order from legacy and where..... is it to some flat file or some other option is there . pls tell some options.
2) how we will uload the sales ordes into sap . thru lsmw or is there some other option ?
3) there will be more number of fields in sap than in legacy. i think we need to manully create an excel file and add more fields manually in excel file so that the compulsonry feilds as per sap are present in sap ?
4) how will availability check happen in sap after sales order are t/f from legacy ?

1.a. you need to down load in EXCEL in legact format and convert the same in LSMW format and upload it
2.a. LSMW - Functionally, BDC, BAPI - Technically. to my knowledge LSMW is better option.
3.a. first you download to EXCEL file from LEGACY, then align the same to SAP format you can add those fields that are mandatory as per your requriment.
4.a.You are uploading sales orders in SAP which are showing OPEN status from LEGACY before you uploading the sales orders MM consultant would have uploaded its stock through 561 - dont worry on that, even though if stock is not uploaded also not an issue it will confirm at the later date.
5.a. we have used LSMW process for our PREVIOUS ASSIGNMENT, before that we tested BAPI for it some how it was not capturing some fields.

I am unable to start the DefaultCacheServer on eclipse. It doesnot start/join the cluster.I get the following :-

I am using coherence - 3.6. Eclipse - Juno Release. JDK - 1.6 . The classpath setting in order is Project,JRE libraries, coherence.jar. Project has folder 'config' which has the XML files.

If you are checking for CREATE option then Sales Doc Type
For more Info goto SWO1 transaction -> BUS2032 --> DIsplay --> Execute --> There SELECT the method which you want to perform... There you can fine the MANDATORY parameters also....
Or in DISPLAY mode PLACE Cursor on the Required Method and CLick the PARAMETERS button on toolbar...
That will show the MANDATORY parameters...

Loading sales orders to APO

Hi,
What are the ways of loading sales order data into SNP planning book?
To my knowledge, it is:
1. R/3 to BW cube to APO( using TSOPY)
2. Active integration model and assign the category BM to sales orders keyfigure in SNP planning area. so that all sales orders in Live cache loaded through integration model show up in the planning book.
Here is my issue. I checked the planning area and I see no category assigned to it. When I right click on the cell and select show details, it is showing me deliveries assigned with it. Also the sales order data is loaded only for 3 days from current date. Which gives me a suspicion that this is loaded from BW as the dates are controlled.
Here are my questions.
1. As deliveries are showing up in details, does it mean that the sales order data is being loaded through live cache??
2. Why do deliveries show up when this is sales order data? I see deliveries in RRP3 for that product and location.
3. Can we control the number of days to which the sales order data is loaded when loading from Live cache using option 2 as above?
4. Do details such as deliveries show up when the data is loaded from BW cube to APO?

you SNP KF is assigned to a Category group that consists of categories for SO and Deliveries
order series data doesnt have to do with BW data load. Unless you are releasing into SOs from time series
so i guess you are getting your SOs and deliveries from ECC
if you go to IMG and locate the category group and can take out the order type for deliveries from the category group (you can locate this in details for the planning area of SNP) then you will not see them
its better not to limit the orders that are created in ECC comign to APO based on dates. This will cause inconsistencies. If you want to limit deliveries you should be able to restrict them using the integration model

   there are lot of ways of doing it depending on data upload volume it will be decided .
1) thru abap bdc program which directly uses XL sheet data and creates SO using bapi/FMs.
2) using scat.functional consultant should be good enough to use this.
3)lsmw-laborious procedure but achievable.

Releasing Sales Orders from SNP to DP at correct levels

We have a requirement where we want to do month to date tracking of sales orders in DP compared with the forecast. We have three important characteristics in DP at which we want the data to be released - Product, Location and Customer. Is there a way to release Sales Order data from SNP to DP at such a detailed level ? A product at a location could have sales orders from multiple customers.

why would you want to send Sales Orders from SNP to DP
Why not load it into DP planning area through a cube in the DW workbench directly
As far as i know you can only trasfer from SNP to DP in Product Location (or similar characterstic Level)
DP to SNP demand transfer can use descriptive characteristics but dont think you can do it in reverse

Create Sales order from Internal Purchase Order using IDOC

Hello Friends,
I have requirement to create Sales Order from Internal Purchase Order Using IDOC.
Backgorund, we have already configured IDOC orders05 to create Sales Order from external Purchase order from Inbound IDOC, and it is working fine.
Now we have new requirement to create Sales Order from our own Purchase order, i.e. When PO is created in one plant corresponidng sales order automatically must needs to create in another Plant with respect PO.
I m trying to design a solution for above problem as follows,
1.create an Inbound Idoc from PO, by creatiing one new message type on PO save.
2.Process that Inbound IDOC same as it is from external PO.
3.Once processed Sales order will create.
Please help me in step 1. to create Inbound IDOC from PO.

I had done a similar scenario before and we achieved it through SAP XI. The problem is with the control record. When we create a ORDERS IDOC from a PO the control record will be for outbound transmission. We sent the file to XI and XI resent it back with some data parsing and a new inbound control record. This way it went neat outbound and inbound.
I'm not sure what kind of architecture you have. If you have to do it within your ECC/R/3, then you could create the outbound IDOC to a new port and write a fresh RFC to pick it up from the same folder and create a new control record for inbound processing.
I haven't tried this; but there is a "processing w. trigger (inbound)" option on the outbound process code. May be you can explore into that a bit more.
I'm sure there could be better approaches to handle this within ECC so if you stumble on any, do write back. I would like to know to update my knowledge .

i am searching extract data from xml file and insert into another exiting xml file by a java program. I understood it is easy to extract data from a xml file, and how ever without creating another xml file. We want to insert the extracted data into another exiting xml file. Suggestions?

If the files are small, you can load the target file in a DOM document, insert the data from the source file and persist the DOM.
If the files are large, you probably want to use a StAX or SAX.
