Load the Data

Hi Every Body,
I have a small issue for which I need a good PL/SQL suggestion to perform the task in the fastest way.
I have two tables names Prod_table (production table) which holds around 50 million records and another table Temp_Table (temporary table) of same data structure of prodction table which holds a data of around 800 million records, I have a file which holds the primary key information of around 100 million records of temporary table which needs to be updated in the temporary table.
Task is I want to identify the remaining 700 million records in the temporary table using the key values in the file and insert them into production table in the fastest way.
Please suggest me some good approaches to acomplish this task.

INSERT INTO PRODUCT_TAB
SELECT * FROM TEMP_TAB
WHERE
ID NOT IN ( SELECT ID FROM FILE);

  • Unable to load the data from PSA to INFOCUBE

    Hi BI Experts, good afternoon.
I am loading 3 years data( Full load ) from R/3 to Infocube.

So i deleted both PSA and Data target Requests and again i loaded the data only to PSA.
Here i got data in PSA without fail.
Then i tried to load the data from PSA to Infocube MANUALLY.
    But its not happening.
      One message came this

We are working with the DB team but they have confirmed that they is no issue with the TB, the process we have followed
As a standard process – while loading the data from FDM or manually to HFM – we don’t write any SQL query. Using the web interface – data would be loaded to HFM application. This data can we viewed by different reporting tools (smart view(excel)/HFR Report/etc.)
There is no any official documents on oracle website which talk about Insert SQL query which is used to insert data to HFM tables. Even, Hyperion does not provide much details on its internal tables used. Hyperion does not provide much insight on internal structure of HFM system.
As per Hyperion blogs/forums on internet –HFM stores the base level data in so called DCE tables (for example EMHFMFinal _DCE_1_2013 where EMHFMFinal  is application name, 1 identifies the Scenario and 2013 the Year).  Each row in the DCE table contains data for all periods of a given combination of dimensions (also called an intersection).
We are trying to load same data file with a replace option( it should delete the existing data before loading the data file).

Also, this is first time, I saw this kind of error message.
Appreciate any help or any suggestions to find a resolution. Thanks,

    Hii Priya,
The reasons may be the file is open, the format/flatfile structure is not correct, the mapping/transfer structure may not be correct, presence of invalid characters/data inconsistency in the file, etc.
Check if the flatfile in .CSV format.
You have to save it in .CSV format for the flatfile loading to work.
Also check the connection issues between source system and BW or sometimes may be due to inactive update rules.
    Refer
    error 1
Find out the actual reason and let us know.
    Hope this helps.

    Raghu.

  • Excel 2013 PowerPivot Error - "PowerPivot is unable to load the Data Model"

I'm attempting to use the PowerPivot add-on in Excel.  When clicking 'Manage Data Model' or attempting to 'Load to data model,' I receive the error 'We couldn't load the Data Model.  This may be because the Data Model in this workbook is damaged.',
followed by 'PowerPivot is unable to load the Data Model.'  This happens irrespective of data source type.  I have Excel 2013 32-bit, PowerPivot 32-bit, running on Windows 7 OS 64-bit.  I am not running an SSAS instance on my machine.
    Any suggestions?

Have you ever tried to repair your office?
Also we may refer to the following blog :

This issue seems to be caused by the October 2013 update (KB 2825655) for Excel 2013. Try to remove it or restore the system to an earlier point and check the result.

  • Load the data from a transparent customised table in BW to an ODS

    Hi there,
How can you load the data from a transparent customised table created in BW to an ODS.
    Many thanks.
    Sarah

    Hi,
just create a generic datasource in rso2 for that table, replicate the datasource for source system 'myself', create a infosource and assign the new datasource to that infosource. Create a update rule from infosource to ods, create a infopackage and load the data.

  • How to load the data using a plsql table in ODI.

    Hi All ,
Can anyone help me on this ?
We have a PLSQL procedure which returns a plsql table as out parameter.
We are supposed to load the data in to a file using this plsql table (Table type) in ODI.
Can this be done using ODI?
    Regards,
    Karthik+

    Hi,
We have one process with a ref cursor (Oracle) as a source and remote Oracle DB as a target. I ended up writing my own KM that populates a global temporary table from the cursor first and then transfers the data to target. If temporary table is an option for you, the rest is pretty easy.

    Hi all
First let me Wish u Happy Friendshipday
When iam loading the data from a french system. Do i need to have a french key board.
And wht measures should i take to load a load when it is not in english language..

    Hi
You dont need a french keyboard!
Just make sure that the french language is installed in your BW system
TO check this go to transaction RZ10 and select a defined parameter.
In it, see if apart from English and German, if french is also checked. Installation of language is job of basis guys and check with them too
    Hope this helps

    Hello Sachin,
You can use the following metalink note:How to Read Data from an EXCEL Spreadsheet into a Form Using Webutil Client_OLE2 (Doc ID 813535.1) and modify it a little bit.
Instead of copy values into forms you can save them in your temporary table.
