Loaded $25 tunes card and discovered that someone may have hacked the system by loading unwanted tunes onto me desktop and devices. What to do.....if anything at this point?

Loaded $25 tunes card to iMac a while back. Couldn't find where it was on the system. Plugged my synced iPod into a new car's USB and learned that many new songs that I did not select play on the car stereo. Have no idea how they got selected, but Apple store did a check and the $25 has been used up. All songs read out ''indentifiable'' and even include an interview of Howard Stern. Crazy.
Anyone have a clue how this happened? Not a big deal, but my $25 is gone and I have a bunch of unwanted tunes.

Yes I have back ups I have Time Machine running, I guess that will be my trouble shoot.
IMac is running OK at the moment after I uninstalled MACKEEPER and was that a chore! I was really looking for some interpretation for the Log report related to the Panic Attack to C if it pointed to a particular application or hardware. The IMAC has been really stable since I bought it in 2010 and I have not added any other HW for at least 12 months. The only recent SW added has been that Ancestry product, I did change my ISP a few weeks ago but still using the same router so that should have no bearing.

Tools menu > account settings > server settings >advanced and you can edit the maximum connections Thunderbird will establish with an IMAP server.
Unfortunately the afore mentioned Apple products have no such setting, or at least my last foray into the apple support forums left me believing so. It makes their mail functions fast, but makes playing in the same sand pit as others much more difficult.

What does it mean when a pop up comes up and says that someone else is using the same IP address as myself?

It only comes up a couple times, but what does it mean? Does it mean I've been hacked or something? It also says to change my IP address if it happens again but how the heck do I do that? It means that your router doesn't assign IP addresses based on a hash of the devices MAC address but instead assigns them in sequential order.
On Monday device A had IP address X and device B had IP address Y because they were turned on in the order A then B.
On Tuesday device B was turned on first and it got IP address X for whatever reason.
When devfice A was turned on it asked for IP address X but was rejected because X was already in use.
That's when the error message was displayed. It's complaining that the IP address it had yesterday isn't available today because it's already in use by another device.
If the router has the ability to do DHCP reservations, configure the router to assign IP addresses based on the device's MAC address.
Or always turn devices on in the same order.
Or get a high end router.

is it your imac?
is it your your router's name?
are you by any chance connected to another wifi router then your own because the other one was open and not password protected?

Place the iPod in Recovery mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes.

I have a user on an iMac 10.6 connected to our domain. She uses Outlook web access for email on our exchange server. Last week she received the following message which is randomly preventing her from sending emails. She claims no attachment was involved in the original email when this all started. I have not been able to look at her account as she is out of the office but maybe someone else dealt with this issue. I realize this may not be Mac related but thought I'd give it a try. She did say it occurred once over two days while working on a PC but it continued over the past weekend.

The conflict may have occurred when an existing item was updated on another computer or device. Open the item again and try making your changes. This is because F-Secure Anti-Virus for Microsoft Exchange has detected a virus in the attachment. If the user tries to send the message again, the message will be sent but without the attachment. At the same time a blank message with an attachment named "Attachment_information.txt" will remain in the user's Drafts folder. PS - have found other posts indicating that clips smaller than 2s or sometimes 5s, or "short files" can cause this. Modern style editing often uses short takes ! Good grief I cannot believe Apple. Well I deleted a half a dozen short sections and can export, but now of course the video is a ruined piiece of junk and I need to re-do the whole thing, the sound etc. which is basically taking as much time as the original. And each time I re-do it I risk again this lovely error -50 and again trying to figure out what thing bugs it via trial and error instead of a REASONABLE ERROR MESSAGE POINTING TO THE CLIP IT CAN'T PROCESS. What a mess. I HATE this iMovie application - full of BUGS BUGS BUGS which Apple will not fix obviously, since I had this product for a few years and see just hundreds of hits on Google about this error with disappointed users. Such junk I cannot believe I paid money for it and Apple does not support it with fixes !!!

If the user account is associated with an Apple ID, and you know the Apple ID password, then maybe the Apple ID can be used to reset your user account password.
Otherwise*, start up in Recovery mode. When the OS X Utilities window appears, select
Utilities ▹ Terminal
from the menu bar at the top of the screen—not from any of the items in the OS X Utilities window.
In the window that opens, type this:
res
Press the tab key. The partial command you typed will automatically be completed to this:
resetpassword
Press return. A Reset Password window opens. Close the Terminal window to get it out of the way.
Select your startup volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name) if not already selected.
Select your username from the menu labeled Select the user account if not already selected.
Follow the prompts to reset the password. It's safest to choose a password that includes only the characters a-z, A-Z, and 0-9.
Select

They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

I would like to inform you that not all the browsers and online PDF readers support copying text from a PDF. If you have opened the PDF online, please download PDF file to your computer and then open the file in Adobe Reader.
Please share a screenshot if the issue still persists.

Thanks for your help Karen Serena. Obviously, it appears in the list of printers and scaners on the left, into the "Print and Scan" with system preferencies. Then i click it , it appears on the right, then i click "open scanner" below the name and opens a window writing "open device failed". When i connect the scanner, it makes a sound but that's all...the scanner is dead, even if I push any button...Also there isn't any window opened to prove the function of the scanner, only is shown in the scanner list, that's all.

Your MacBook Air is an Intel-based system. To download the current version (11.2.202.228), go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and download it from there.
If there is still a Flash issue, you can try the Google Chrome browser, which has the current Flash built into it, to see if it works any differently with the videos. It's available from https://www.google.com/chrome

I would ask iTunes Store support for help with this. You may never be able to get the movie to download on your own now.

Do you mean your the download limit set by your Internet Service Provider for all broadband use? Or the data allowance from your phone network provider for your iPhone?
If you mean the phone contract's data allowance, I have a similar problem. I had a message from O2 yesterday to say I've used 80% of my monthly data allowance, which is very unusual for me. I may have found the cause which is that my iPhone is reluctant to connect to Wifi, and when it does, no data moves; so it's been accessing data with 3G. Nothing wrong with my wifi (iPad and iMac connect without problems).
I'm suspecting the iOS 5.1 update. Has anyone else had similar problems since taking it?
