If I do -
Class.forName("driver1");
Class.forName("driver2");Where driver1 and driver2 are two different drivers like Sybase driver,or Oracle driver and both driver present .

  • Using multiple drives with Windows 7 Backup

I have a customer with a new PC running Windows 7 Pro. He has 3 Seagate 1TB USB drives that he swaps out nightly for backups. Currently, backups are being done using the built-in Windows 7 Backup.
His previous PC ran XP and used the program which is pre-loaded onto Seagate drives to install onto PCs. He used this with the 3 drives and had no problems.
However, this software on the drives would not install on his Windows 7 PC because I presume it to not be compatible, even in compatibility mode.
The problem now is that each time he swaps in a different drive, the backups fail because it's a different drive and the backup software can't seem to handle multiple drives. With Windows Server Backup, you can add multiple drives so that when you swap them,
backups still run. I can't seem to do that with Windows 7 Backup.
Does anyone know how to get multiple drives to work with the built-in Windows 7 Backup?
    Jonathan

In addition to the above persons' solution, you can choose a third software  instead of the built-in Windows 7 Backup tool, the backup software can make up for the deficiency of  the backup tool of Windows. You can search in Google, and
will find many kinds of software, Genie backup and AOMEI Backupper: http://www.backup-utility.com/ can be ok. Hope the freeware can give you suggestion.
AOMEI turned out to be the answer. It works well with multiple drives and provides an easy way the user can see if the backup succeeded or not. Thanks!

  • XP Pro won't load on SATA drives

I have been trying everything I have read on these posts to no avail. The "Single SATA or Multiple Drive Arrays FAQ" didn't work. Nothing else I have seen has worked, nor has anyone posted my exact problem. This is FAR from the first system I have built and I have plenty of experience with things of this nature, so you can understand being pissed when a system is kicking me in the butt so badly. After the last go around this is where I stand, when loading the OS onto the system I hit the F6 key, load the proper drivers, it gets to "Press F8" (to agree), then it shows the drive partitions. I select the "C" drive partition and in the middle of copying the files I get a "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA" error. No, it's not a memory issue because I have replaced the 2 sticks of OCZ with 1 512 of Kingston JUST on the off chance that was the problem. I still get the same error. Anyone care to take a crack at this?

Well I think the only way to get this thing working is the same method I used on a friends system that is identical to mine. I just burned one at 2am after pulling my hair out all damn day. In other words, I was too stoned to be able to tell what in the F(*&K I did.... but it's running!
As for that last post, no, my copy of XP Pro has SP1 only. I know about the issues with PS2 and am waiting for a solution before I apply that to my rig.
The cool thing is I am able to sit here and play Doom 3 in 1600x1200 and get the full 60FPS! Gotta love spending untold amounts of money to play a $50 game the way the authors intended.

  • Adobe downloaded to multiple drives please help Thanks

I purchased adobe web premium a couple of months ago. When I downloaded this program and I did a custom install to go onto another drive. With my computer I have several hard drives with multiple drives on them. I wanted this to go all onto my G drive but for some reason it downloaded alot of stuff to my C drive. My C drive is really full so I did not want any of this program on there. My question is this Can I take all of the stuff on the C drive and move it to my G drive with out messing up the program. I am talking brushes, Plugins things of this nature. I don't want it to look in the registry of the C drive but the G drive. This way it saves alot of space on my C. I have windows vista Ultimate. Can someone help me figure this out? Thanks

    ladytaralynn wrote:

That is normal behavior. Shared components such as Bridge, PDFL, Fonts etc. will always be installed on your system drive.
    ladytaralynn wrote:

Most likely not. Some plug-ins will always have to be loaded within the context of your system root directory since they need to obbey a specific loading order and call up other files. Likewise, any content or extension will not show up in the fly-out menus, if not in the reserved directories. E.g. if you move your brushes to a different drive, the program cannot scan them on startup and they will not be listed in the menu. You will have to load them manually, which simply may become impractical. The only thing I can think of, is to create a link to the folder and place it inside the program directory, but this does not work for all Adobe programs. So more or less, you should really leave things as they are and instead get a bigger drive one of those days. Deactivate your apps, create a disk image, apply the image to the new drive, reactivate everything... Should do the trick without having to fully re-install.

  • Hit 5 Transfer Limit  for purchased music.Multiple drive failures. Wht Now?

I've had multiple drive failures on my G=4 and I've reached
the last allowable transfer of purchased music from my
Ipod back to the new drive.
****.... Why doesn't it just recognize the computer otherwise
so that my re=loads aren't used up. Only 5 are allowed.
So now....What happens if and when this drive fails? Do I then
lose all future use of that very expensive, purchased music?
Makes me want to NEVER download from the Itunes store again,\
if this is indeed the case.
    What can I do?

There is no limit on "transfer of purchased music from my Ipod back to the new drive." You can store the iTunes Store purchased music as many times as your want on as many different hard drives, and play them all, as long as the computer doing the playing is authorized with your iTunes account (the one used to purchase the songs)
There is a "five" limit, and it is based on machine. You can play music purchased with a specific iTunes Store account on up to FIVE different computers at any given time. Each one is registered with the account, and when you reach five, you cannot add any more. The machine itself is identified (by something on the motherboard) so a new hard drive should not make the machine a "new" machine. So not sure what's happening if all you did was replace the hard drive...
In any event, you can clear your iTunes Store account of all authorized machines and get a fresh start. Here's how (see section +To deauthorize all computers associated with your account+ in the linked article).

  • Admin tool could not load the essbase driver. Please check the configuration

    Hi All,
I have obiee11g installed machine and want to connect that machine with essbase.
For that I have installed Essbase Client [11.1.2.1] by downloading the following files,
*1>Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management System Installer Fusion Edition Release 11.1.2.0.0 for Microsoft Windows (32-bit)*
*2>Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management System Foundation Services Release 11.1.2.0 for Microsoft Windows (32-bit) Part 1 of 4*
*3>Oracle Essbase Clients Release 11.1.2.0.0 for Microsoft Windows (32-bit)*
After that I manually added the ESSBASEPATH and ARBORPATH as Environment Variables (USER).
And also I manually added the essbasepath in bi-init.cmd file.
Finally I tried to connect essbase with BI through BI Admin Tool, I get the following Error
"*Admin tool could not load the essbase driver. Please check the configuration*."
kindly guide me to overcome this issue.
    Thanks and Regards

Until you perform the configuration on the AD server, the following message will appear:
Error: Could not start the SSO service. Please check the configuration.
So configure the AD server so that the error message will not appear again.

  • Unable to load the jdc driver

    Hi,
I am using mckoi, but I don't succed in loading the jdbc driver:
Class.forName("com.mckoi.JDBCDriver");This line throw a ClassNotFoundException. But:
    cd $CLASSPATH; ls | grep mkjdbc.jar
    mkjdbc.jar
So the jar file is in the CLASSPATH.
    I try also:
    import com.mckoi.JDBCDriver;But when it compile:
    javac ConnectToServerDemo.java
ConnectToServerDemo.java:2: package com.mckoi does not exist
    import com.mckoi.JDBCDriver;
    Something strange:
    java -cp mckoidb.jar com.mckoi.tools.JDBCQueryTool -u "admin_user" -p "aupass00"
    It's work very well !
I don't understand and I have no idea.
It will be fine if someone can help me.

You should follow duffymo's advice and explicitly pass classpath on the command line.
However, classpath environment variable can work. It appears you have the directory in which the jar file resides in the classpath. Java won't find JARs automatically, you have to include the name of the JAR file explicitly.
E.g., if your jar is located in "/mydir" and your classpath environment variable contains an entry "/mydir" change it to "/mydir/mckoidb.jar", or better yet add that in addition to "/mydir" so classes are also found.

  • Unable to load HP printer driver-Error message!

    Hi,
Just wondering if anyone can be of any assistance.
I recently purchased a HP Photosmart 2575 all-in-one printer and installed the necessary software, which said it was successfully installed. However, whenever I boot up the G3 I keep getting the following message 'Unable to load the printer drive, open the applications Get Info dialog and increase the preferred memory size. If this does not help try quitting all other applications or reinstalling the printer software.'
After clicking ok on this message about four times the message goes and I am able to print fine. Just wondering why this is happening. I have increased the memory allocation and also turnt on the virtual memory to see if this makes any difference, but all to no avail. I have also uninstalled and then reinstalled the software to see if this makes a difference, but that didn't help either.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance
PS: The printer is connected via ethernet on my router to enable me to print from another machine

Use Techtool Lite or Trash*Desktop (TD may delete Finder comments )to rebuild your desktop w/extensions off. Does a better job than manually & you avoid all the finger gymnatics. You just have to hold down the shift key to shut off extensions.
Restart to turn the extensions back on again.
If you want to rebuild manually, see KB article http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=10182 Rebuilding Desktop File and Icon Recovery.

Most likely, the OCI libraries could not be loaded.
Before continuing down this path, is there any reason
why you want to use an OCI based Driver as opposed to the
all Java Oracle thin driver ?There is indeed a valid reason for my choice.
I am currently connecting to the Oracle "Rdb" 7.0 database (located on
    VMS) - not Oracle Oracle.
The SQL Service software we're currently using is version 7.1. This
version works well with the OCI8 driver (when connecting to the
database from Windows NT). This version of SQL Service however does
NOT work for the THIN driver (unless we upgrade the SQL Service to
version 7.1.5.5 - which we're not prepared to do so because it is not
stable enough from our previous test/trials). SQLSRV Version 7.1.5.5
works for THIN driver but it will result in uncommitted
transactions/unresolved connection/stopping of listener issues and
there is a need to restart the service from time to time. Oracle has
since confirmed that this is a bug that they have yet to resolve...
So we have to stick to OCI8 (THICK) for the time being. I would really
appreciate it very much if you can tell me the various OCI libraries
that I need to load (in terms of WebLogic Server config file settings
    etc..).
By the way I have already installed the Oracle 8 client software on
the NT server (where WebLogic Server is) and I have also set up the
relevant SID (using the Net8 Assistant) that points to the Oracle Rdb
database on the VMS. I have also tried using SQL*Plus to connect to
the database and I can connect properly to the database. But WebLogic
simply doesn't seem to load the software.
    Help...

    Hi AMSI,
Did you try to run only the interface? It might not work.
Try executing your interface from within a package. A previous step should refresh / set the variable.

  • Time Machine - using multiple drives when the first is not available

Hello I have been succussfully using Time Machine with my USB external drive. I have been connecting it to my MacBook Air from time to time. Manual backups as well as the hourly backups when the drive has been connected worked without any problem.
Recently, I connected Synology DiskStation (NAS) to my network and I have added it to the list of drives in my Time Machine setup. When my original external drive (first in the list) is not connected to my MacBook  the hourly backup is not initiated by the Time Machine at all. Manually started backup is runnign fine without any problem.
The external drive is annotated with exclamation mark in Time Machines list with "not available" error - and it seems that this is causing the interruption of automatic hourly backup to any drive.
Is there any way how to debug Time Machine? Or to get some logs of Time Machine?
Any similar experience with multiple drive backup when the first of them is disconnected most of the time...?
Thanks a lot for any help
    Petr

Perhaps you should address this to Synology's tech support. Apple doesn't provide any support for third-party NAS, so your best bet is with Synology.

  • Itunes will only load on C drive, not E drive

Greetings, Itunes will only load on C drive. (new build win 8.1) I have a 120G SSD for C and a 1tg Hdd for E. I am trying to load itunes on the E drive (1tb hdd) but no matter what I do, it loads on the C drive. I tried running install file from the E drive. It installs itunes on the E drive. I check the C drive and its not there. But when I sync (homeshare) it puts everything on the C drive.
I have tried just changing the letter C to a E on the screen where it asks where you want it installed. I have tried just a E, I have tried creating a folder on E first. and evey other combination of the above. (complete uninstalls between attempts
Itunes will not fit on the C drive.
    Thanks in advance

Well, I talked with a guy at work who has done the same as I'm trying. He says that besides setting up Itunes in the new drive, that there is another place where you have to tell itunes where to put the import data. But he can't remember where it was,so I am pointed in the right direction anyway.

  • I cannot load Maverick on my iMac HD.  It reports that my HD is used for Time Machine backups and will not load to that drive.  I do not use this drive for backups.  Help.

I cannot load Maverick on my iMac HD.  It reports that my HD is used for Time Machine backups and will not load to that drive.  I do not use this drive for backups.  I use an external 1 TB WD My Book for backups as well as Super Duper Backups. Can anyone offer advice.   Thanks.

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
You have got the "Backups.backupdb" folder in the root level of your hard drive. This is the folder used by Time Machine to save backups to, and the OS X Mavericks installer thought that your hard drive is being used to store Time Machine backups
To fix this, open a Finder window, select the Go menu (on the menu bar) > Go to Folder, and type:
Then, delete "Backups.backupdb" and empty the Trash. Finally, open the Mavericks installer from the Applications folder and follow the steps
