Loading SAP CRM Java code

Hello,
We are trying to build a prototyping system with SAP CRM 7.0. I have installed NWDS
on my machine and unjarred the below files
CRM JAVA COMPONENTS 7.0 / SAPCRMJAV02_7-20003517.SCA
CRM JAVA WEB COMPONENTS 7.0 / SAPCRMWEB02_7-20003518.SCA
SAP SHARED JAVA COMPONENTS 7.0 / SAPSHRJAV02_7-20003521.SCA
SAP SHARED WEB COMPONENTS 7.0 / SAPSHRWEB02_7-20003522.SCA
I see a lot of zipped files under the BUILDARCHIVES folder of each of the main folders. When I unzip them, I see .ppa files.
Can load these .ppa files as local projects in my NWDS because NWDI isn't installed?
Please advise.
Thanks
Sunitha

  • SAP ISA Java development

    Hi ,
I m new to SAP ISA java development. I m experienced in Java and Java  wedynpro development. I m even experienced on struts frame work.
I would like to setup development environment for ISA . I have read SAP E-Commerce 5.0 Examples and Tutorials, what i don't understand is how to get sample b2b application and where i can the application?
Please let me know or provide me with some application of ISA where i can learn basics.
    Regards,
    Ravi.

You can get the SAP CRM java application from SAP CRM  installation media,
or download from SAP service marketplace.
I think you can find the info in the Development and Extension Guide
    The components
    x SAP-SHRWEB.sca
    x SAP-SHRAPP.sca
    x  SAP-CRMWEB.sca and
    x SAP-CRMAPP.sca
are designed to be modified and extended in the NWDI. They contain the web files for the E-Commerce
Applications, the IPC Web Applications and the Workforce Management Applications.
    For E-Commerce for mySAP ERP
    x SAP-SHRWEB.sca
    x SAP-SHRAPP.sca
    are designed to be modified.
If you plan to extend database tables you can modify the component
    x SAP-CRMDIC.sca,
    in the NWDI as well.
    The components
    x sap.com~STRUTS.sca
    x sap.com~SAP-IPCMSA.sca
    x sap.com~SAP-CRMJAV.sca
    x sap.com~SAP-SHRJAV.sca
    x TEALEAF.sca
are designed not to be extended or modified in the NWDI. They are required for compiling and building the
    applications.
After you delpoy  the SCAs to AS Java, and configure it with XCM, you can login the web shop.

  • Connecting sap crm database from java | platform used NWDS

I need to get some values from one of the SAP CRM 2007 database table and display it in one jsp file. I am working on a e commerce webshop in NWDS. I am new to NWDS. Can you give some sample code showing how to make connection to crm database and to do a select query on a table.

I have only worked with CRM 3.0/4.0 but I have worked some with other WDP applications.
So you want to access some data in a table in the CRM backend (R/3)?
To do that from Java you need to call a BAPI in the CRM system. The BAPI does the acctuall lookup in the table and returns the value to the Java side. To do that in a WDP environment you need to set up Java Connectors (jCo) in your Java server. In some cases you can use a "normal" BAPI call, that is the way CRM ISA 3.0 and 4.0 works. See: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm30/helpdata/en/b6/97f8378f975450e10000009b38f8cf/frameset.htm

  • SAP CRM 7.0 Java AS

    Dears,
i have install SAP CRM for Apab and CRM for Java...
My Problem when we try to login using SAP GUI on crm java the error message appeare as following :
    <servername>:SAPdp05 Not reached
    Connection Error 161
    connection refused;;
The service is running, and all parameter on sap gui is true,,
    Please Advice,,
    Thanx in advance

DO you want to insatll the Java Crm for the same host with the same SID if yes you should have used the option for ABAP+JAVA installation.
for th installation we always use sapinst for the installation Master CD.
JSPM is the tool for applying the JAVA patched as ve have SPAM/SAINT in the ABAP side.
When you use JSPM it can upgrade the patches to the final level. You dont to apply the patchesin sequence to reach the final level as in ABAP.
you van find JSPM in /usr/sap/SID/DV*/j2ee/JSPM and then run ./go in unix to run JSPM.
Please get back if you need more information.

  • Options for loading data from legacy mainframe to SAP CRM and ECC

    Hello All,
    I am new to SAP.
As part of data conversion planning from legacy mainframe to SAP CRM and ECC systems, I need to know the different tools available for loading the data and comparative analysis of the tools by showing the features. Please also describe the process to evaluate the tools (prototyping, technical discussions etc) and make the recommendations.
I would also appreciate any information on testing tools like (eCATT) and any third party tools (like Informatica)
I know I am asking for lot of things here. But, I really appreciate any information reagrding this.
    Thanks,
    Balu

    Hi
Data Migration(Conversions) mainly involves the following Major Steps
    Discovery->Extract->Cleanse->Transform->Load
Discovery-> Involves identifying various source systems available where the actual data is residing.
Extract->Extract the data from the source systems(legacy systems)
Cleanse->Cleanse the data by enriching it,De-duplications etc
Transform->Transform the data into SAP Loadable format
Load->Upload the data into SAP Using the Load Programs(Eg,BDC,LSMW,Data Transfer Workbench,BAPIs etc)
Also i would request you to visit http://www.businessobjects.com/solutions/im/data_migration.asp

Please let me know about SAP API’s that would enable bulk loading mechanism instead of serial method of one by one records.

  • SAP CRM 5.0 ABAP + Java - Need to install JCRM

    Hi everybody.
I've already installed a SAP CRM 5.0 ABAP´+ Java system but when installing i've only selected to install CRM APP components and didn't select JCRM CRM Java Components.
I've also patched Java components with JSPM.
Can i install those components (JCRM) now that system is already installed? How can i do it?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Romina,
Yes you can install it later not just for CRM but for any SAP Solution from the Business Suite or SAP NW04s.
You have to start JSPM and select Install Additional Usage Type and select JCRM.
Make sure after you install the new type to check your software components
http://HOST:5XX00/sap/monitoring/SystemInfo. to see if all your components are in the correct stack.

  • SLDCHECK error when configuring SAP-CRM 7.0 to Single Stack SAP-PI 7.31 Java only

    Hello Experts,
This would be a usual exercise when we are connecting SAP application to SAP-PI 7.31 JAVA only and the most usually asked question in different ways. I had performed successfully connection test according to Michael Blog or https://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw73/helpdata/en/3b/dec6eaf3ac42fba8f92f2413ec930f/content.htm
Both SAP-CRM 7.0 and SAP-PI 7.31 JAVA only are hosted on the same physical hardware.
Surprisingly , when tested with Tx SLDCHECK it shows error that RFC destination SAPSLDAPI and LCRSAPRFC are missing "SLD Configuration error".
Do we  have to still consider creating the 2 RFC destination SAPSLDAPI and LCRSAPRFC

    hi ambi,
In the tool bar options got to 'window'-> 'open perspective ' select 'java' perspective.  create  a new project in the java perspective. while creating project itself you'll have the optin to elect which type. in that specify java. give the package name also. if you want to include a class, right click your project, select class. create your java class. when you save , the compilation takes place automatically. inorder to run your java class, select 'Run' in the tool bar. create a configuration file for your class . press Run.
it'll give the output in the console below.
