i download the "localize my device app" in the french appstore directly on my devices.
when i want to open the app on my ipad/iphone.
the booth two ask me after login to have using a dev id ??
i'm not a developper and that's was a normal update.
so i hope somebody of apple can log this BUG
because on my each device i can't find my other one.
on the web icloud is ok localize my is ok
on the devices icloud are ok

It was a mistake by Apple. Apple has released a Find my iPhone version that only works with iOS 7 beta accidentally. Delete it by holding the icon and pressing its X button, and wait until Apple restores the old Find my iPhone version

Seems that you can no longer hide them on your phone. Try doing so in iTunes: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919.

Go into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, select that email account on the right-hand side of the screen and turn Notes 'on' for it - they should then appear in the Notes app instead of as an email folder in the Mail app (they will still be linked to that email account, so you may need to tap the 'Accounts' button at at the top left of the list of notes)

Out of Order Primary Keys and Blob fields

I am using Oracle Migration Workbench to transfer the data from SQLServer 2000 to ORacle 9i. I am running into the following issues and was wondering if you had any ideas what may be going on:
1.) Primary keys are out of order
2.) Blob fields are inserted into the incorrect row
Ex. BLOB field stating 'Application active' should be associated with Act_key (primary key) = 5 and it ends up transfering over with act_key 28.

I am very interested in this thread because I have encountered a similar problem with BLOB columns, except that I am also seeing this with CLOB's.
Essentially the all the data gets 'migrated', but the CLOB and BLOB columns are all mixed up!
Any solutions?

How do I get OUT of the Apple Store and back to my playlist?

Something sent me to the Apple Store for a free amp which I couldn't find. Now EVERYTHING comes up Apple Store in iTunes. How do I get out of it and back to my jazz and classical playlists and be able to play CDs in my iMac with this terrible software?

Click on 'Library' at top right and choose 'Music'.
Personally, I would enable the sidebar, which makes navigation a lot easier - command-option(alt)-s

Albums out of order in iTunes and on iPod

Despite what I try to do, sometimes iTunes 7 orders an album completely wrong. iTunes puts my album in this order: track 3,4,1,11,14 (those are the ones I have for the album). Track 4 I purchased through the iTunes Store as a single, and Track 1 and 11 I purchased as part of the album. But it seems that in putting track 4 in the album, iTunes believes that means that Track 1 follows it!
This did happen occasionally (with the same album) in the previous version of iTunes, but it was always correct on my iPod, and now it follows the incorrect order in my library.

This has hit me now, and it's something to do with version 7.0
Having installed 7 yesterday, and straightened out the compilation album andaudio playback bugs , I noticed that some of my older albums didn't have track x of y, just track x.
I thought I'd sort it out by doing a mass Get Info on all tracks from each such album; /however/, when I do this, it re-orders the tracks (apparently randomly), and will not allow me to change the order at all.
Wiping track numbers, wiping tracks themselves, nothing works
This is phenomenally annoying. Anyone got any answers
P.S. I've just found that /any/ info change can re-order an album - I just changed the genre on an album and it randomised the track order

Grosse erreur, puisque mon second choix, porté sur un Blackberry Torch 9860, vient de tomber en panne sans explication au bout d'un an et 10 mois. Comme à chaque fois, la petite led rouge clignote et s'éteint au bout de 2 secondes, et l'écran reste noir. Agacé, je suis allé chez mon distributeur Bouygues Telecom qui m'a informé que dépassé 1 an, il n'intervenait pas et m'a orienté vers Blackberry. Je viens d'appeler Blackberry qui m'a renvoyé vers ma boutique. Une fois de plus, je suis le client que l'on plume.
L'obsolescence des mobiles Blackberry est-elle également programmée? oui je le pense, car au delà de la panne de mes deux appareils, c'est la qualité du produit qui m'amène à le penser. Je tiens à dispo des photos de mon Torch montrant des défauts de fabrication qui sont apparues en moins de 2 ans. La mauvaise qualité de la gomme qui entoure la coque et qui sert à monter le volume ou le baisser, ou de l'autre côté de l'appareil, qui entoure la prise USB, s'est totalement résorbée avec le temps. Si bien, que je ne pouvait plus changer de volume ou que le chargement de la batterie devenait compliqué.
Vous êtes prévenus, si vous envisagez d'acheter un Blackberry. Pour ma part, c'est terminé. Je ne me ferai plus avoir !!!!

HOW DO I GET OUT OF FULL SCREEN MODE AND BACK TO THE HOME PAGE?

I was at a website and expanded the view to full screen mode. i pressed ESCAPE but it would not return the screen to smaller size. I had to press CONTROL+ALT+DELETE end the session. Now, when I restart Firefox it wants to restore the session. I have no status bar at the top and returning to home page. I hope this information helps.

Can I move web developer tools out of the sub-menu and back into 'tools'?

I'm sure there are many who like this new sub menu for web developer, but for me it's a waste of time. Is there an option to allow me to move the contents of "Tools->Web developer" back into tools? It would save me time and, I might actually start liking a firefox vision other than 3.6.. Thanks

TCP out-of-order at IPS

Dear All,
We have a setup the IPS 4510 working inline mode with strict inspection turn on. we have detected some latency issue accessing the internal website. So we did some capture at the IPS interface. We found that there's a lot of out-of-order packet and DUP ACK detected by IPS which causing the normalizer engine buffer full and could not handle anymore request. As a work around we put the IPS in asymmetric mode where it turn off the IPS normalizer engine.
I need some opinion on possibilities why the Out of order and DUP ACK happen.
We are seeing quite a lot of Out-of-order, DUP ACK and TCP zero window in TCP stream that we captured.
The topology is quite straight forward:
Internet ----WAN ROUTER ----- IPS4510 ----- ASA ----- Web server
There's no redundancy or load balance for the ASA or WANROUTER.
Im hoping for some opinion and idea on how to tackle this issue.

+ asymmetric mode (Which we rejected as permanent solution)
+ Event action filter
I'm currently looking at this solution and plan to implement it in the IPS.
I need to consider a few things and also suggestion
+ The signature engine involve is Normalizer engine (specifically sig 1330)
+ is it possible to customize this signature or should we just go for Event action filter?
need opinion and pro and cons of this.

Strange out of order packet issue

Not sure if this is the proper place to ask this or not, but I have an odd issue with a VM (really multiple VMs but they all do the same thing). The VMs run RHEL 6.5 and spool a print job to a printer at the far end of a WAN connection. The printer doesn't handle out of order packets correctly and ultimately just waits for the OS to decide it should resend things and restart. This causes major delays in the print job. The app was migrated from a RHEL5.10 physical system to the VM where the problem started. The printer vendor has admitted a problem in the way they handle out of order packets but isn't fixing it in the printer(s) we have. When the app was on RHEL5/physical system the problem did not occur. At least, it wasn't severe enough for us to look really deep into. The application team wants to move back to RHEL5/physical until the problem is resolved but I am reluctant to do that because it effectively means they won't migrate into a VM for another 1-2 years.
I think a previously existing problem is being made worse by the VMware layer, but don't know what I can do about it. We run the Nexus 1000V with LACP back to redundant Nexus 7000's before the connection routes to the WAN circuit. I have been told the problem can be reproduced without going thru the WAN, and we have tried using the VSS on a separate pair of cables, but it didn't help. Can anyone think of anything that I can check or tweak to make things easier for my end users? I really don't want to move back to physical. It makes so many processes 10x more difficult.
We are running ESXi 5.5u2 with vSphere 5.5u2 on IBM 3850m3 servers. They aren't memory, CPU, or disk constrained at all as far as anyone can tell, and the network from the box isn't saturated or that busy at all.

Yes you can. However, it is better to use one person's account most of the time for purchases in the Mac App Store and iTunes since you can share purchases, such as songs, among various devices using the SAME account. You Cannot share purchases among different accounts, though. So make one of your accounts the main "purchasing" account so you can share purchases.

Photos syncing from folder to iPhone all out of order?

I have 2 folders synced to my iPhone 4 photo app.
They were previous camera rolls before I set up my phone as a new device. They are all named in order and taken in order, for example IMG_001.jpg was my first picture in my old camera roll. IMG_822.jpg was the last photo taken before I did the backup, and is the last in the folder.
The folder I am syncing from on my windows computer displays all of the pictures by filename (and because of that, by date) but when syncing with iTunes they end up on the phone ALL out of order. I can't find any rhyme or reason to how they are displaying. Most of the earlier photos show up at the beginning like they should, and the last at the bottom of the scroll appear to be mostly right, but then it's completely random from there.
I've tried unsyncing them, removing them, and then adding them back again and nothing seems to work. I've even tried renaming the IMG_xxx numbers to different things and they still appear to sync in the same random order.
Am I doing something wrong, or is this a huge bug for someone with OCD like me? lol

I have probably 15-20 Smart Albums in iPhoto 8.1.2 in OS10.6.4 that are syncing to iOS4.0
On the old software, my Smart Albums for photos would show up AS the smart albums I created. Now they show up in the iPhone one giant mess called "Photo Library".
I can view photos broken up under "Events" on the iPhone by specific dates, but the dates don't tell me what the name of the event was, and some Smart Albums had multiple dates grouped together in one Smart Album and I don't really want them broken out separately by date. I want them organized how I organized them...
In short, I want my photos grouped the way I have explicitly grouped them. It used to work, it doesn't now.
Since iOS4.0 I am also getting sync errors all the time in iTunes. "iPhone cannot be synced because the required file cannot be found." WHICH FILE??? tell me and I will delete it...
I've rebuilt the entire database in iPhoto (took 4 hours). I've scanned iTunes and removed all broken links and duplicate files. I've scanned the hard drive with the disk tool. I've emptied the iPhone and reinstalled iOS4 on it 5 times. I've turned syncing off for all non-essential applications and stuff I don't actually sync like voice memos. Same problem.
I think I want my iOS 3 back. I don't really like multitasking anyway, always having to turn off applications for the one or two times in a million where task switching if helpful...

Out of order

I'm creating a pdf portfolio for the first time on a trial edition of acrobat xi pro. I've added tiff images and word docs to my portfolio, but when I try (as directed in the tutorial videos) to re-order my files by dragging and dropping them in the lower panel, they won't re-order. They keep popping back to the original order. How do I get them in the order I want? And once I get them in the correct order, how do I size everything in my portfolio so the lower panel is smaller and the images and documents are displayed larger? These are basic questions that I can't find answers to in the support materials. Please assist or direct me to something I haven't seen yet. Thanks much.

With respect, this is not working for me, either.
It does work fine with music, but not with podcasts stored in the iTunes Podcasts Library. Even when the iPod Shuffle (v2) list is sorted by the left-hand column (the one with numbers) after I have synched it with iTunes and before I eject the iPod, after I eject it my podcasts somehow get shuffled to the front of the iPod's play list. Worse yet, they somehow end up being played in reverse order (last one first, first one last). And the podcasts show up in that changed order, when I re-synch the iPod to iTunes.
I have tried creating a separate playlist for the podcasts, putting them there in the order I want, and then copying that playlist to the iPod. Doesn't prevent the behavior I just described. I have tried adding the podcasts to the iPod one-by-one, in the order I want. Ditto. I have tried scattering the podcasts among songs; after I eject the iPod the podcasts still get moved to the beginning of the list (in reverse order). Another thing I can't figure out is, how the iPod knows the order. It's not shown in the titles or in any other field viewable under the Contents tab (I've enabled viewing for them all).
For a few happy moments, I thought that it mattered whether the triangle at the top of the left column pointed "up" or "down". I've tried it each way. Doesn't work in either position.
Again, in each test I have been careful to let the iPod synch to iTunes. I have been careful to click on the "eject" symbol on the "iPod Device" line.
Because I am temporarily using the iPod to store some data, I am also careful to click on the "safely remove hardware" icon in the system tray of my Windows XP Home Edition screen, before actually removing the USB plug from the port in the side of my laptop.
FWIW, the iPod's "shuffle/in order" switch is in the "in order" position. It's using 1.0.4 software. I've removed the check mark from iTune (7.6.2.9)'s "autofill randomly" box.

Out-of-order-writing and fsync issues ...

I am facing a fairly interesting problem on my Sun box.
The problem is: My customer has reported that PostgreSQL loses a file on TRUNCATE.
The scenario is:
BEGIN;
TRUNCATE table;
COMMIT;
When the system is killed during this transaction it can happen that the system tables will still see the table while the file on disk is already killed.
However, this is impossible because the table is actually killed by PostgreSQL AFTER the COMMIT.
Internally it does:
BEGIN;
modify system tables;
COMMIT (including fsync)
remove table on disk.
The problem now is: How than this happen? The only thing which comes to my mind is that the I/O system is doing out-of-order writing. My second theory is that fsync is doing something terribly wrong. More evidence: This happens not too frequently and ONLY on Solaris (We have tested that).
Can anybody provide me information about the I/O behaviour of the kernel respektively information about what fsync might do wrong?
