Location of the upload files.
hi SAP Expert,
currently i just finished installed my SAP Easy DMS to my laptop and connect to my IDES EHP4 Server, i haven't install any content server, but i managed to upload my doc file to the SAP Easy DMS.
my question is where can i find the physical file that i upload via Easy DMS to IDES Server? i RDC to the server and using search function but can't find the doc that i upload, thanks.

Based on your info,
there is an option 'FTP storage system' in storage type DMS (Tcode : OAC0)
but i can't find it in my server. cannot find 'FTP storage system' as an option in Storage Type DMS
Please help me how to show this option in storage type..

You have a question about uplaoding files with Struts then get rid of all the junk in your code thats not related to uploading files.
If you have an error then post the relevant information on the error

The problem is that the control doesn't reach the try statement and I get " File not written" on the console because it enters catch everytime..Please tell me how the path to the directory should be given...Rest of the code is working fineNo, the problem is that when an Exception is thrown, you ignore it completely and throw away all the information associated with it. That leaves you to guess at what the problem is. So instead of answering your guess at a good question, I'm going to suggest that in all of your catch blocks you put this code:e.printStackTrace();Then you can look at the output in the log file and see what the problem is. Start from there.

I developed an BSP Application displaying the results from ITAB though Iterator, for which , each row there is feature to upload a particular file in the Application Server, where I stored the file path into a database table field. .When I delete the the row, I am successfully get rid of the entire row including the file path.
My Question.
1. How to delete the uploaded file of the Application Server ?

Clicking the first file, holding down shift and clicking the last file doesn't work. I've tried all manner of command, control, shift combos without success. I was trying to upload 3 jpgs to the submissions page of a visual arts website. I could only highlight one jpg at a time in the "Choose File" option, and then the "Upload File" button of the submissions page would not respond.
It's an ongoing problem with this site (I'm the only one with this issue and there are a lot of submissions). I have to send the images as email attachements to the administrator of the site. When doing this via webmail, I still the one attachment at a time problem, but the images get to the administrator. Thanks for helping. -

wien I access Itunes I get the notification....the song could not be located because the origional filoe could not be found...I have over 2000
songs in my library ....Does this mean they are all gone....How can one retrieve them???This missing song thing happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout,or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .
Once you've sorted out the broken links I've written a script called DeDuper which can help remove unwanted duplicates. See this thread for background.

create FileInputStream of file you need , create FileOutputStream with your new name and write the content to it.

How to get the charset of the uploaded file
I am uploading xml files through apex application to the database server, then I will create xmltype from it. How would I know the charset of the xml file? There is a file_charset column in apex_application_files table. However it is null when I upload the xml file. How is this column used? Any help will be appreciated.
-FengtingI found that there is a file_charset column in table apex_application_files. I thought apex will figure out the file charset and populate that column in the table after uploading the file. But it was null in my case. If I prompt the user to specify the charset, the charset value won't go into apex_application_files table.
It is true that an XML file is typically encoded in utf8 but there could be exceptions. When I create xmltype from the uploaded file in a blob, I need to provide the charset_id in the xmltype constructor. I hope I can provide the correct charset instead of a typical value of utf8.
So there is no standard or recommended way to get the file character set other than prompting to user?
