Lock current date after save

In the form I am working on I have a current date field.  When the user saves the form I would like that date to be locked so when the form gets emailed to me and I open it, I can see whent the user sent it.
Is this possible?  Any help would be great.

Still having a problem....not working.  Next time I open the form (I've forced a date change on my pc) and it changes to the current date.  Is this correct?

    If there is a passcode on your iPhone, which you don't know, there is no way around it. You'll have to restore factory settings. The passport is meant to protect sensitive data, and that is, what it does.

    Finished at : Tue Feb 10 18:30:53 2015
    then I Resynced everything, wlc config, switch config, cleared browser cache, And restarted. The good point: The data is all there! Everything! Maps, ap locations, everything! I was baffeled. I wasn´t really used for restores on NCS/Prime going so well :D Thinking all is well, I started furthur in. And noticed that every client. Every 7300 of them was disassociated. If I choose a client that I know is on the network (my laptop..) it always says disassociated, and the last time seen was the time of the backup. Ok might need a while. Let it sit over night. STILL NOTHING.. If you click on the check box to show the client details, troubleshoot or anything - you just get the spinning cursor and nothing shows up. If you go in the maps, and click on a ap, then click on the client count - spinning cursor. Everything that has to do with current data - spinning cursor.
    Then I restarted. Fresh 2.2 installation. Added a few devices, just to see that the data collection really works. And YEAH it did! So I thought it might be a problem with maybe the devices not being in the database, jada jada jada. So I imported a 100 devices with the discovery function. Which is working really well. And THEN I restored the backup, again all successful, and all data is there.
    and this morning - still no current data available.
    Has anybody come across this? and how do I solve this? I will be opening a tac too, but I was hoping you guys are faster :D
    thanks alot for your help!

    I love to see that 2.2 has been granted mind reading abilities. After I complained here, I restarted and resynced again.. and now.. ehm. it works. No Idea what I did different this time :(( But it seems to be working now.
    The last attempt was to add devices before the restore.. and then 3-4 resyncs, and 2 restarts..

  • How to check  the date with current day after 5 days

    Hello,
    I need to make the visible of delete button in my struts application. I've application in which user can be deactivated. If the user is deactivated and the admin can't delete the user for the specific period of time (set in property file). while deactivating the user, system time is set. and 5 days after the system time's set, i need to make the button visible.
    This is my code.
    Calendar cal = Calendar.getInstance();
    Date deActivatedDate = null;
    deActivatedDate =new Date(userData.getDeActivatedTime().getTime());// Set it in the Calendar object
    cal.setTime(deActivatedDate);                    // Add 5 days
    cal.add(Calendar.DATE, 5);// get the current date
    Calendar currentCal = Calendar.getInstance();
    Date currentDate = new Date();
    currentCal.setTime(currentDate);// check if the de-activation time is over.
    if (cal.get(Calendar.DATE) < currentCal.get(Calendar.DATE)) {
    userData.setDeletionAllowed(true);}
    can anyone help to solve this issue?

    What's the problem with the code that you posted?

  • The date and time is not working after setting it to current date and goes back to may,26 2011

    the date and time is not working after setting it to current date and goes back to may,26 2011; 2 PM . I bought my ipod tocuh 4th gen on july 18th

  • Lock Automatic Date Field after Submit

    I have a form that generates the current date when the form is open.  Once the user complete the form I have a submit button that will flatten the file and submit the completed PDF. All this works great.
    The challenge I have is even though the form is flattened, when a user opens the flattened PDF in a PDF Reader the date displays the current date.  Is there a way to set this field to update only once when the form is initially opened?
    I am currently using the following function to generate the date in the field.
    var f = this.getField("OpenDate");
    f.value = util.printd("yyyy/mm/dd", new Date());
    I am running Adobe Acrobat X Pro.
    Regards,
    Robert

    To test the form, you need to close the saved form and reopen it. Because the field is empty it should populate. If you save, close the form, and reopen the form the date should not change.
    Note the PDF needs to be opened before a document level function will execute and it will only execute once.
    If you want the form to work for others, it needs to be saved with  the date field empty because when the form is opened and the document level script runs it will only populate an empty date field and if the field has any non-null value in it the field will not update.
    For testing you could change the script to include an alert to tell you if the date field is being updated or not.

  • Contract getting locked forever after save

    Hi Gurus ,
    This problem is happening only in our production system with some contracts only when we save a contract through VA42.
    contract is getting locked forever. when we see lock entries from SM12, it shows us entries for that contracts in blue. VBLOG table also have some entries for this lock entry. How could i identify that where the problem has occured. from blue entries we can say that it has been locked by some call to function module in update task. is there any way to find out which function module is causing the problem.
    thanks
    Rajpal Sehrawat

    Hi Max,
    thanks for the reply.
    the lock entries in SM12 are in blue which means main program has submitted some function modules in update task and those tasks have not finished. that is why i am able to see entries in VBLOG. why these entries are not getting deleted. and VBLOG table is not showing any error also.
    user comes out of the contract imidiately after save. even he kills his session also.

    my ibook keeps shutting down completely with the date to reverting back to 1969.  i restart only after i plug in charger it lets me, then change date and save.  the next time i use same thing happens, safari, iphoto, email are the only ones i have used.
    please help!  i am at a loss here.
    thank you, movie lady
    ibook g4

    The iBook does not have a backup (PRAM) battery. It only has the main battery and a small capacitor which maintains the settings long enough to do a battery swap. If the battery is dead, what you are seeing can happen.
    If the battery is not a problem (or even if it is), you could try resetting the PMU and see if that helps.

  • Commit/save the data after copy in custom.pll

    Hi All,
    In custom.pll added code to populate data based on other fields. Its copying successfully, but not able to save the record to database.
    when user goes to field, form is asking for update, correction.
    Can some one please tell me how to commit data to database once it is copied?.
    what built in should be use to commit data after copying?.
    Thanks to all in advance...

    Hi Asif,
    Thanks for the reply, that didn't help me.
    fields which populated are into key flexfield segments, how to save the key flexfield, this is a TAB.
    I am not able to find any where on this. In form I have a block1 based on data in fields in this block1, key flexfield in a tab should be populated, here we are successful by copy built in function.
    Next is how to save keyflex data in TAB after populating.
    can someone help me please...

  • Future Date Script in Acrobat, 6 months after current date

    Hey guys I have been working on this for hours and I am not sure why I cannot figure this out.  I am looking to have 1 field box in the form auto populate the current date and another field box to auto populate a date 6 months from the current date.  My current date code is attached, I have been playing around with so many variations that I do not want to confuse anyone with my other ugly code fragments.
    var bFirstTime=1;
    var f=this.getField("todaysDate");
    if (bFirstTime=1) {
    f.value=util.printd("mm/dd/yyyy",new Date());
    bFirstTime=0;
    //app.bFirstTime);

    Have you tried a document level funtction that runs when the PDF is opened. The following script fills in today's date if the field has not been field in and computes the date in 5 months using the parts of the date and the value of today's date.
    // one time use document level function
    ( function () {
    // update fields only if balnk
    if(this.getField('todaysDate').defaultValue == '') {
    // get current date time object
    var oNow = new Date();
    // get some date parts
    var fYear = oNow.getFullYear(); // 4 digit year
    var fMonth = oNow.getMonth(); // get zero based month
    var fDate = oNow.getDate(); // get date of month
    var sFormat = '%,302.0f/%,302.0f/%,304.0f';
    // fill in field
    this.getField('todaysDate').value = util.printf(sFormat, (fMonth + 1), fDate, fYear);
    // make permanent
    this.getField('todaysDate').defaultValue = this.getField('todaysDate').value;
    // compute date 6 months from today
    fMonth += 6;
    var oNew = new Date(fYear, fMonth, fDate);
    // get some date parts
    fYear = oNew.getFullYear(); // 4 digit year
    fMonth = oNew.getMonth(); // get zero based month
    fDate = oNew.getDate(); // get date of month
    // fill in field
    this.getField('newDate').value = util.printf(sFormat, (fMonth + 1), fDate, fYear);
    // make permanent
    this.getField('newDate').defaultValue = this.getField('newDate').value;
    // debugging aid
    app.alert('dates updated', 2, 0);
    } else {
    app.alert('dates not updated', 1, 0);
    } // end not empty
    return;
    } // end function
    () // call funtion
    ); // end document level function
