Log format of Cisco Voice Manager

Hi,
that's an example of log which Cisco 2801 call manager generates after conversation using VoIP phones:
"Jul 13 11:39:27 172.16.9.21 351: *Jul 13 10:39:45.544: %VOIPAAA-5-VOIP_CALL_HISTORY: CallLegType 1, ConnectionId B9D0B6D2119211DB80BDA7713A418C8, SetupTime *10:39:41.804 UTC Thu Jul 13 2006, PeerAddress 203, PeerSubAddress , DisconnectCause 10 , DisconnectText normal call clearing (16), ConnectTime *10:39:44.224 UTC Thu Jul 13 2006, DisconnectTime *10:39:45.544 UTC Thu Jul 13 2006, CallOrigin 2, ChargedUnits 0, InfoType 2, TransmitPackets 0, TransmitBytes 0, ReceivePackets 0, ReceiveBytes 0

i cannot find at cisco website any document wich would describe what every phrase means, for example other options for 'DisconnectCause'.
please help me.

Looks like the bug CSCin07036.

    hi,
U will find the Char format <BD> in char fomats along with Barcode format.
if u don't find them there then reimport the script from client 000 and see.
You can the find that in the Character formats radio button and there itself you can see the barcode option.

  • Uccx Critical Cisco Service Manager Error

    Hi
I have a issue. The UCCX trigger suddenly did not work, and I had to restar the engine service. The log service down at 12:57. The log indicate Critical, Cisco Service Manager message.
    The UCCX version is 8.5.1.10000-37
    TIA
    Cristian.

    Hi Cristian,
This is the event viewer logs which show the message for all the services. Even the Service restart will be logged and this log is not a true indicator of a service failure.
The points to note next time is:
    1. What is the status of the CTI RP on the CUCM when it fails?
    2. What is the status of the CTI Ports when the call fails?
    3. Are the internal calls to the RP working fine?
    4. Collect the MIVR and JTAPI logs from UCCX and CTI manager logs from CUCM and analyze for the failure.
The above should help you in finding the root cause.

    Arundeep

  • Cisco Security Manager logging

    Hello Experts,
Can anyone help me, how can i configure CSM 4.0 to capture its logs.
I want to read logs of Cisco Security Manager itself, so how can i do that & in which location it captures it log file.

There are multiple server logs (47 of them on my CSM 4.4 setup) all stored on the server itself and accessible from Windows Explorer.
You will need to RDP to the server and look at the log directory under the path where you installed CSM.

  • E1 no voice on Cisco Call Manager version 6

    Hello,
We are running Cisco Call Manager with MGCP and E1 connection to a Siemens PSTN
We have started experiencing no voice when calling to Siemens or calling from Siemens to Cisco. The call goes through but there is no ring tone and no voice when the call is answered.
Also, I noticed that MGCP fails back to our Sub sometime, but I am not sure if these issues are somehow related
How can I troubleshoot voice problems with E1?
    Thank you

    Hi fgasimzade,
Can you check with Siemen what channel order do they follow.
Cisco VG follows descending order for outbound calls and expect ascending for incoming calls.
You can toggle config using below commands
    interface SerialX/Y/Z:15
    isdn bchan-number-order {ascending | descending}.

  • Cisco Call Manager MIB and OID.

    Hi,
One of our customer has developed their own NMS software to manage multiple OEM products.
They want to integrate Cisco Call Manager 7.0 and Cisco Router with the NMS software for monitoring/managing of Voice traffic.
The monitoring of CUCM 7.0 will consists of the following-
    1. Call History
    2. Missed calls.
    3. Calls in progress,
    4, Dropped Calls.
The Monitoring of Cisco Router will Consists of Interface statistics and Portwise Traffic statistics of LAN and WAN Ports.
I believe this monitoring is done through Call Detailed Record and if I will load the CDR MIBs in NMS software it will be able to log CRD logs from CUCM 7.0.
Please suggest that if the same is possible.??.
kindly help me in getting the MIBs/OIDs for the same.
    Best regards,
    Puneet K.

    Hi,
For 200+ users you should better go with Cisco CallManager (CUCM). Although ISR G2 supports 250+ users, it will not provide clustering mechanism and additional HA capabilities as CUCM does.
You can read the Call Processing chapter of the CUCM SRND:
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/srnd/9x/callpros.html
Hope to help, please remember to rate helpful posts.
    Kind regards,

    thanks !!

Georgi, the company profile has a Default Locale. Also each user can have their Locale. The US format of MM/DD/YYYY can not be changed to October 6, 2010 as an example.
I would recommend that you submit a enhancement request to CRM On Demand customer care.

  • Cisco Call Manager Administration Page Drop down menu not working

I'm running the mobile app browser on my Xoom tablet and when I log into Cisco Call Manager Administration page I get the menu's but it will not pull down the options. The same issue happens in google chrome. I use your browser on my desktop and have no issues logging into Cisco Call Manager Administration page and getting the drop down menu's to appear but the mobile version of your browser is not working. Is there a work around? I tried changing the UAString to Desktop, iPad etc and the issue is still there.

Thanks but I've tried all that. It happens in Chrome also. I've tried Opera and it works on that. I've read other forums and it looks like a Java script issue that Chrome and now Firefox Mobile cannot seem to resolve. My preference is Firefox and I'm sure as more tablets get out then this will be solved at some point. I just don't know how it is prioritized. I do know that in order for Androids to be viable in the business sector they need to address issues like these with a higher priority.

  • DACL format fo cisco ISE&ACS

Hi, could anyone direct me where can I fine DACL format fo cisco ISE?
Bacause when I use simple ACL like
    permit tcp any 10.8.26.0 0.0.0.255 eq 3389
    My ASA says in log:
Unable to install ACL '#ACSACL#-IP-standart_vpn-50fa79e7', downloaded for user krasnoperov_as; Error in ACE: 'permit tcp any 10.8.26.0 0.0.0.255 eq 3389'
    But when I use
permit tcp any host 10.8.26.1 eq 3389
It Install it corrctly, why it happens?
    thanks

    Hi,
Because that is not correct extended access-list for ASA (bad mask), example:
    ciscoasa(config)# access-list test extended permit tcp any 10.8.26.0 0.0.0.255 eq 3389
    ERROR: IP address,mask <10.8.26.0,0.0.0.255> doesn't pair
You need to type correct extended ACL without "access-list name extended".
    This should work fine:
    ciscoasa(config)# access-list test extended permit tcp any 10.8.26.0 255.255.255.0 eq 3389
    Remember about wildcard/netmask - it's not a router

  • Archive Log Format Issues

    Hi DBAs,
I have 2 Archive destination. My archive log format is ARC%S_%R.%T
But In my 1 location E:\app\Administrator\product\11.1.0\db_1\RDBMS format shows ARC00025_0769191639.001
    2 location shows E:\app\Administrator\flash_recovery_area\BASKAR\ARCHIVELOG\2011_12_08\O1_MF_1_25_7G15PVYX_.ARC
    SQL> select destination from v$archive_dest;
    DESTINATION
    E:\app\Administrator\product\11.1.0\db_1\RDBMS
    USE_DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST
My Question is that, I am using this format only ARC%S_%R.%T
but it shows different format in each location. May i know what 's the reason behind this?
    Thanks in Advance

If you are using other archive destination other than FRA it will creates as per LOG_ARCHIVE_FORMAT,
and the FRA configured then the archive format for FRA is O1_MF_1_25_7G15PVYX_.ARC
from your query it is clear that there are two destinations are configured, So if you dont want *.ARC* files, you have to disable FRA.
But recommended to use FRA easy to manage.

  • Cisco Call Manager 8.5 and Lync 2013

    Dear all,
Our customer wants to integrate their Lync 2013 to the Cisco Call Manager 8.5.
Out of some not so recent information i thought that if u want to use the enterprise voice of lync you'll have to make a sip trunk between Cisco Call Manager & Lync 2013.
I think that this still counts, i've also heard that there have been a moderate amount of changes between cucm 8.5 and cucm 8.6 on matters of sip.
I'm unable to find them though, also what does CUCI - Lync do?
    Kr,
    Yannick Vranckx

    Hi Yannick,
There can be three types of integrations between Lync and Cisco Systems
    1)      Direct SIP Trunk between Lync Server and Call Manager - In this, we can setup shared line between Cisco extensions and Lync extensions, and Sip trunk between the servers. Any Cisco phone / Lync client  can call each other vice-versa. Initial setup needs planning, but later it does not need much configurations in client side. The following document explains the configurations needed.
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucilync/9/CUCI_BK_C0B36AC1_00_cisco-uc-integration-for-microsoft.pdf
    2) CUCILYNC, which is like Cisco Jabber client but connects with Lync and Call Manager: Lync Client <----> CUCILYNC <-----> CUCM
In this option, a plug-in is installed in each client side. Although initial configurations is easier, each user needs to install the client and operate it. The below document explains the configuration and setup.
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucilync/9/CUCI_BK_C0545A41_00_cisco-uc-integration-for-microsoft.html
    3) RCC (Remote Call Plugin) which just provides basic call control feature but for that you need Cisco Unified Presence Server: Lync Client <----> CUPS <-----> CUCM

  • Cisco Call Manager 5.1 and Cisco VoIP Gateways

    Hi,
I have Cisco Call Manager 5.1 with Cisco 2800 series routers as a ISDN gateways and Cisco VG224/ATA 186 as POTS gateways. While Cisco Call Manager collects call statistics from 7900 series SCCP handsets managed by the Call Manager (number of VoIP packets, dropped frames etc.), it shows only one side of the call as it does not collect statistics from the Cisco routers (configured as H.323 gateways), the Cisco VG224 (with ports configured as H.323 gateways and as a SCCP devices) and Cisco ATA 186 (configured for SCCP).
Is the collection of these statistics possible? What needs to be done?
    Thanks,
    Paul

Update: Logging of QoS/Call Management Records (CMR) to Call Manager CDR database is not possible with H.323 gateways; only MGCP gateways:
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps556/products_qanda_item09186a008020650a.shtml#qa4
Anyone know how to get the Cisco router gateway to log these statistics anyway using standard router logging mechanisms (e.g. syslog)?
Anyone know about calls to SCCP ports on Cisco VG224 or ATA 186?
    Thanks,
    Paul

  • Cisco Call Manager DR situation

    Hello,
We have 2 Cisco Call Manager in our site and place in 2 different locations connecting via a layer 2 network.
They form a cluster group and the production one is the publisher and the DR one is the subscriber.
In the DR situation, if the layer 2 connection between 2 CCM is broken, is it possible to change the subscriber to be the publisher and make changes on that?
Would you please guide me how to do so?
