Logic go freeze when undo some recordings PLEASE HELP!
Its start happen after reinstall my system.
I have installed all plugins and programs as it was before formating.Logic updates,10.4.10,ProAppsSuport ....
I open Logic ,then load my Project,and starts to record
I recording just one track(vocal).After 45-60 min its start hapening-Logic freeze when i try to undo last recording.I make-Force quit for Logic and relaunch it.
After 20-30min ats heppen again.
Any ideas?

This has happened to me before as well.
The first thing I tried that seemed to help was to delete the undo history. I also have lowered the undo number to around 10 steps.
Other than that, it could be a simple maintenance issue.
If you don't already own Disk Warrior, I highly advice getting it. Let it rebuild the system drives directory.
Also, repair permissions fairly often, and get an app like Onyx or Cocktail to run the necessary maintenance routines a couple of times a month.
Also, it wouldn't hurt to get I-Defrag, and defrag your audio drive from time to time. Especially if you record a lot of audio.
But because you just did a full re-install, I would start with Disk Warrior, and see if that doesn't help get things back to normal.

ITunes Freezes When iPod Plugged In. Please Help!
Two years ago I got a 2nd Gen. iPod nano. It worked for a while, but then it started freezing iTunes when I tried to sync it. So I got a 3rd gen. nano. It worked on one computer, then I wanted to put iTunes and start syncing it on another computer. So i transferred all of my songs to the other computer.Which was the same computer I synced my old iPod. I synced my new iPod once and all of my songs went to it. The next day I tried to sync it and as soon as the computer reconized my iPod, iTunes froze. As soon as I unplugged it it unfroze. That was what happened when I plugged my 2nd gen nano in. So now i cannot sync my new iPod because iTunes keeps freezing. Do you know what I could do to fix this problem??

Also, do you know what causes this problem? As you suggest using an earlier firmware, I'm guessing some aspect of a later version is to blame?
Any idea what version I should try?

OS X Mavericks freezes when enabling wifi. Please help.

I have a MacBook Pro 15 retina late 2013 with the latest version of Mavericks installed (10.9.3).
Everything was running fine until a couple of days ago the system kept freezing with the only option to force shut down with the power on key and then power on again.
Today I realized that if I manage to turn off WiFi, the system works fine. I have already reinstalled Mavericks with the restore function (cmd R) but the issue is still there.
The only “change” to the Mac applications I remember is that about one week ago I installed an utility called SDFormatter (https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/) that works thru the Apple Installer. Could be some kind of extension installed by the software? I erased that app and also looked inside the relative .bom file to see if an extension or library of some sort was installed, but could not find other files installed.
what can I try now?
thanksI don't think is related to the installed software because it appends also in safe boot mode. Could be some preference files related to WiFi?

(What i mean is the following, Settings>iCloud then it will freeze before you entering email, then follow the steps below)
turn off your iPhone.
log out from iCloud, in any device (Mac Book, iPad, iPod, PC, what ever, Remember any device that you may used the account there).
turn on your iPhone, and try now to log in to iCloud. ( you should be OK to log in, and you can type email now before it is hangs)
* if you tried these steps and you can type the email and password and it is still hanging after you click "Sign in" then you need to do the following.
create a new iCloud account from iCloud website with domain iCloud (for example, [email protected] , YOU SHOULD NOT USE OTHER DOMAINS LIKE GMAIL, HOTMAIL OR WHAT EVER TO CREATE THE ACCOUNT).
then go back and use the new iCloud email to log in in your iPhone. ( I hope by that time you will be OK (^_^)).

Go to Settings/ Store and under the category "Automatic Downloads" you can turn OFF the automatic download of purchases to your device (this needs to be done for each device). There's also a setting in iTunes just for automatic pushes to your iTunes library.
To remove a purchase you've made directly to your device, you can either:
a- Swipe across the song title from left to right and press Delete, or
b- If you auto-sync your device, connect to iTunes and click on the Music tab where you define your sync settings (the Music tab is to the right of the overall Summary page of your device). At the bottom of the Music tab you'll see direct purchases that are on your device -- simply un-check those and click "Apply" or "Sync" to remove them.
c- If you manually manage music on your device, connect to iTunes and click the small arrow to the left of your device name, and then click on the Music folder under your device. Then navigate to the item(s) you want to remove and then delete them.
To prevent things from syncing from your library to your device, there are many ways to do that (un-checking things in your library is one way, but not the best IMO). Might want to read the manual or some online tutorials on iTunes if you want to learn more. -
My iphoto 09 keeps on downloading duplicates to a temp folder without asking when I drag a photo from firefox over to iphoto to import it. It does not happen when using safari. can some one please help?

Message was edited by: lakhanp22Just as of late I noticed that Apple Stores are selling security cameras that work with their app on an iPhone. Very expensive but it uses both WiFi when local and cellular when not at home.
In your case I would check the apple store and see if there is a free or paid app to access your home closed circuit TV system. The cameras have to have their own ip address so you then need only enter that and access will be available to you. But they must be on your home network.
a lot of the higher end CCTV systems have a free app that can be used like the new Apple Security system.
Just Google it or check the store.

After I installed OS X Mountain Lion system, I can't use my Safari to log into my online banking and some other websites which require passwords. Can some one please help?
It could be browser incompatibility or something else. When you say you can't log in, what happens? Is the bank website generating an error saying you're not using a supported browser? Does the login form for your bank account display as usual, but once you submit the form to log in it doesn't work? Give me a specific step-by-step of what you're doing, such as...
1. I load bankofamerica.com
2. I type in my login
3. When I submit, the page does nothing

My phone was working perfectly fine I had just sent a txt message to my wife and recieved one back when i went to check the message the slide to open screen was waaaay zoomed in. i tried turing it off then back on then the reset by holding the home button and top button down for 10 seconds. and it is still zoomed in. can some one please help me i would really appreciate it. thank you.
