Login pass

Question

how do i set login ID,pass to a PC in a LAN through java code ?
i visited URL class but not found any method to set login,pass....
here is wrong code but i want to make it correct
try {
        java.net.URL url = new java.net.URL("//john"); // johm is a PC in LAN      
       url.set("john","password");
     System.out.println("u r connected");
    } catch (MalformedURLException e) {System.out.println(e);
    }how is that possible ?

do you think by posting these questions i joke with you people ? i dont do it....beleive me i dont do it. i read all posts, i keep those as watches....do you know how much proud and glad i become when i get an answer from a developer like you,like jverd,like jos, like drlaszo..,ceci,like malcommc,steve,evanfets,...?
why cant i be like you one day ? you have helped me a lot. i am very much grateful. without that support it remained very much difficult to

the post you make becomes a resource for me.....i am very much slow learner....it is a rigorous time balance for me to cut out some time and read java....but everyday i do it routinewise. you learn 100 concepts in a day, whereas i learn 1,1/2 or 0 concepts sometimes in a day. if i get to know some new info thats become a active and joyful day to me.
I am not a crap....i post with a good intention to know more. how much do you know about me ? nothing . how much do i know about you ? nothing....there are some things which i know but you dont know, similarly there are some things which you know but i dont know. our communication is limited here only...but there are some impression which always remains in our mind...
there are some people who posts answers to OP by looking at their number of posts,past records,..so many lists. some of them apply the principle ,the same principle on me. However earth is nice because some good man still exists.
i remeber a day which is a memorable day when i first signed up here. i posted a question on "object". because i was in a tango with C and java. many people bluffed at me. i was about to leave the forum. but jverd posted a solid answer which was a highly appreciated answer. i understood that there are some people exists here who are the masters. after that, i came to know you,malcommc,jos,Drlaszo..,CECI,Annie,duffy,steve,evan,...
wrting a program, is not a very much big deal . because , search google , you are to get all codes if you like. even you can copy code from your book. i have almost > 2GB pdf book. cut,copy,paste, reuse standard code. i feel my legs are tied when i see a book is hiding something from you and telling you a thumb rule. with that,you can code quickly...but it always seems to me , that i can not come out from a circle which they created. they will tie your hands,legs and kill your imagination.
Sir, i can assure you that i am not a troll...from your language i find a derogatory,ignorant attitude towards me though i keep a high image about you.....it started a mixed reaction in me.... if you want my ouster from the forum, i will look for a vote from 4 senior members(including you) in this forum....i will be finished.
