In attempting to sync my i-phone with my new PC a message appears on the PC that I must enter a password (long forgotten) for an old email address. I've tried everything I know including trying to reset the password by providing my current email address. Nothing works.

Recently I have switched out computers and had copied/ transferred my I ITunes library to the new computer and encountered problem. Please help. Every time I try to sync my iphone with itunes it gets stuck at step 2 and just spins. I have iTunes 10.6.3.25 installed. I've even shut down and rebooted. Nothing helps.

When syncing my iPhone with my iPhone, I get a message that 2 items did not sync - use iTunes for help.
But I can't find any help information in iTunes at all, let alone when items are not syncing.
How do I figure out what is not syncing?Since it seems App related, I'm not sure what to offer you. I guess the only suggestion I have is for you to reboot your iPad and then try again. To reboot, hold the power and home buttons at the same time for at least 10 seconds (keep holding past the swipe to shut down bar if it appears) until the Apple Logo appears, then let go of both buttons and your iPad will restart. You won't lose any settings or data, so it's worth a shot.

Cannot sync my iPhone with iTunes
Whenever I try to sync my iPhone with iTune I get the same message:
This computer is no longer authorized to play purchased items that are on the iPhone “Nadia's iPhone”. Would you like to authorize this computer for items purchased from the iTunes Store?
When I try to authorize I get the message:
This computer is already authorized.
Both devices are associated to the same iTune account.Click here and follow the instructions.

I cannot play some songs on itunes, I get a prompt for an old email address which no longer exists and I don't remember the password. How can I get these tunes transferred to my new email address and password?
In one of the help pages for managing your Apple ID (http://support.apple.com/kb/HE40), it shows two separate sections, one for Apple ID and one for Primary Email address. When I go to manage my Apple ID, I see only a single section for both. Can the two be 'separated', especially when you face the situation of having to discontinue your email address for some reason?
I also noticed that when navigating to Apple ID Support Communities, it shows my nickname 'dishdy'. How and when did I insert this? In the current sequence for creating an Apple ID I don't see this. In my current profile I don't see this.
In any case, I have freed myself from my previous Apple ID (@artemis.it) on my iPhone.

I have a new email address with which I can sign into iCloud, but once there it says to enter password for my old email address and I forgotten it. What next?
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone" and delete the account from your device.
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, save it once again and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

Did you change the Apple ID primary email to another email address or did you create a whole new Apple ID?
Go to settings>itunes & app store and if it shows your old apple id at the top then tap on it then sign out and then sign in with your new apple id email. -

How do I get Creative Cloud.app to stop asking me for my old email address that I do not have access to? I have reinstalled it several times and it stills asks for it! I spent several hours on Chat and my help specialist logged off before I had an answer to this issue. I'd prefer not to delete all of my files and apps associated with the CC suite. But I cannot update my apps without the panel letting me log in
OKay I finally found the answer- for some convoluted reason, you need to sign out from with an app from the help menu- Why is there not an option to signet on the app Panel?

I have just purchased a new macbook and need to sync my iphone with itunes, i understand that you can only sync your phone with one itunes account. I do not want to wipe my iphone when syncing with this new itunes account. Any advice welcome
1) authorize iTunes on the new machine for your iTunes store account(s)
2) connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
3) sync the device
iTunes will wipe the iPhone but, since you transferred your purchases in the previous step, your content will be in your library and you can re-populate the iPhone with it. -
When I try to sync my iphone with itunes, it tells me a warning that I don't have enough memory and yet the status bar at the bottom says that I do and I know that I have enough memory. What's the problem? It happens with the ipods and ipad as well!!!
The new iTunes has a somewhat different look from the previous version. You can get the old look back if you prefer it by doing View > Show Sidebar in iTunes. Or you can adapt to the new look.
