Looking for software driver for HP 6655A Power Supply with Labview 5.1

Hi, trying to control an HP 6655a Power Supply but the version of Labview in the PC is the old Labview 5.1.
I don't want to upgrade it for fear that the program will no longer function. Does anyone have the driver for the HP6655a that will work with labview 5.1?

You may have to import the instrument driver after you install the libraries. This is done by selecting from the pull down menu:
Tools > Instrumentation > Import CVI Instrument Driver

How to get the recovery time of transient response of a power supply with Labview basic package without analysis option? Does anyone have any idea or some similar function SUBVIs?
Recovery time of transient response is defined as the time from the beginning of the transient to the voltage point on the waveform fallen into 10percent of the overshoot. Well, the waveform is something like a pulse with a soft slope.

I recommend plotting your data on a graph on paper. Take a look at the data, and determine what is unique about the point you are looking for. Look for how you can teach your program to look for this point.
I have written several algorithms that do similar, one in fact being for a power supply, the other being for RPM. Neither algorithm used any advanced analysis tools. They are just a matter of determining, mathematically, when you achieve what you are looking for. Just sit down with your graph (I recommend multiple copies) and draw horizontal and vertical lines that determine when you get to the point you are looking for. You are probably going to have to reverse the array and start from the end, so think in those terms.

l me a bitmap of the graph, and what you are looking for and I will try to be of further assistance. Don't do that however; until you you have given this a few tries. Your solution should be involve a lot of logic on analog levels.

You can download the full feature software and driver, and only install the basic driver. In the installation you should see the option for custom software. Here is the link to download the software; rw2_021_w02_enu.exe

Unable to install a software driver for Canon film scanner on mac OSX 10.6

I am unable to install a software driver for a Canon film scanner FS4000US. I have downloaded it from Canon then open the package click the install and it asks for a location namely the Applications folder. Then it says it has been installed re -start etc, but still no driver.
I am using Mac OS 10.6. Any suggestions greatly received. I have repaired/disk and permissions and it still does not work.

It sounds like the tracks may be missing from your iTunes library. When tracks in iTunes display a it means the file cannot be located; it may have been moved or deleted. If it cannot be located, this may cause the issue of not being copied to your iPod. For this issue, we will need to refer to the following article:

If you alter the device ID of the device from c801 to c821 within the driver module, you should be able to use the driver with the PXI board.

I recently replaced my 2 Windows XP Media Center computers. I have a new Desktop with Windows 7 Ultimate and a Laptop that has Windows 7 Professional. I have an HP Laserjet 1300 printer that I would like to connect with my desktop. This printer still works. Keeping it would save me money. However its was working perfectly on my Mac OS X Mountain Lion, is not working on OS X Mavericks. When i open driver (three netwrok driver) its getting crashed. Using Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks with 3 Mobile Broadband Huawei dongle
So there I was in a meeting with a website client at our local coffee bar K Sue Raa in Chandler's Ford, my MacBook loaded up and trying to connect to the internet with my Three mobile broadband dongle (Huawei). To my surprise the '3 Connect' program crashed reporting that my OS is not compatible? I thought this was strange considering I had used it a few weeks before without any issue.
What could be wrong?...... Ahhhh! I recently upgraded the OS to 1.9 Mavericks. That was the problem.
As there was no free Wi-Fi accessible I continued the meeting using my iPhone as my website presentation tool.
When I got back to the office I sought a solution, only to discover there is currently no driver update available from Three for Mavericks. However, this doesn't mean your 3 dongle will not work. There is an easy solution that will keep you connected until a driver update is available. It just needs you to set up the connection manually. To do this, do the following:
Connect the dongle to your Mac then,
Go to System Preferences > Network
You will see something like the screenshot below...
Simply enter the fields as highlighted above (Please note: these are the UK settings for Three). The password can be anything you like.
Now click 'Connect'
You should now be connected to the internet (provided you have signal of course!)

because you do not have a 3rd generation device. The OS Version says so , otherwise you would be at 4.3.5 minimum and also Itunes is also always correct in determining if you have the latest OS ( if not it fetches the newest from Apple's Servers ) . And because a 2nd generation iPod stops at 4.2.1 you can't get the newest OS, because your device is old. Buy a new iPod , they have iOS5 preinstalled.

Looks like you'll need to call a .NET DLL unless they wrote some wrapper LabVIEW VIs .

But to simulate a periodic voltage you need to send the SCPI "Source" command to the power supply in a loop.
Changing the Voltage setting in periodic value.
How fast of a periodic voltage do you need?
You may be limited to how fast LabVIEW, Windows and your power supply can respond to commands.
Use VISA writes. It is the same for LXI as it is for RS232. The LabVIEW code would be the same.
After you select the corrent VISA Ref, either a com port or an IP address, LabVIEW does not care if it is LXI or RS232.

Can I use the old power supply with the new unit?

I have a second generation Apple TV. When I install the new unit next week can I use the old power supply with the new one and the new power supply with the old one? This would save some messing with cords behind the units.

I would definitely not try that..... The power supplies may be compatible - or may not be compatible. I think messing with cables is a small price to pay for not potentially frying a new device.
