Looking to Get Link in Popup to Open in specific Parent Frame

Hey All,
I have a page with frames(topFrame, mainFrame) that opens opens a popup from the mainFrame. I would then like to have a link in the popup open back in the mainFrame of the parent page that opened the popup but I am not having much luck making this happen. Any suggestions on the best way to accomplish this?

I hear what you're saying; I am not a big fan of frames either and it is the only page I use in a frame. The top frame is actually hidden and is just used to run a script to control a popup image. It has been in place for several years running without any issues and it is actually the most used page on the website and most linked to. I think the reason there aren't any difficutlies is because the topFrame is hidden. I am now modifiying it with some additional content but having a problem. I guess I will have to rethink the page's structure to move away from the frameset layout to help overcome my issues.
I am glad I checked here before I spent too much time on this.

We have created a WebDynpro with a popup window.
This is shown in an iView in the portal.
If the popup is opened for the first time it looks good.
If the popup is opened for the 2nd time the image is not shown and the title is shown with a different font.
If we do a preview of the iView in PCD content area, the title and image is shown and the right font is used: also when you open this for the second time.
If the iView is in a role the problem appears.
How can this be solved?

Sounds like a wrong reference to a stylesheet.
Use IE Developer Toolbar or Firefox to debug the code. Or view source (of the popup) and search for .css. Do the same for the popup that doesn't work. Check if there are differences.

If the third link you posted (the link containing the word "majority") does not look like the following then you inadvertently installed adware.
That particular page should resemble the following:
The word "majority" in the third paragraph should not be a link and should not have the green icon associated with it.

Can't get links in my e-mail to open in the active window

I just upgraded to Firefox 4, and while I like how much faster it is and how much less bogged down my Vista laptop is (FF is open pretty much constantly), I'm still struggling a bit with some of the "look and feel" tweaks.
The big problem I'm having right now is that I cannot figure out how to get links in e-mail to open in the active browser window (they keep insisting on opening new windows, which to me makes for clutter). I'm using Thunderbird 3.1.9.

1.Please do the message tracking for the messages which you have send to the outside world.
2.Just check is there any messages held up On the queue viewer in exchange 2013.
3.make sure all the required exchange services are up and running.
test-servicehealth | ft -au
4.make sure all the required server components are active in the exchange 2013 server.
Get-ServerComponentState –Identity "server name"
5.make sure you are having an enough space on the disk drive where the exchange transport queue database resides.
6.Just enable the protocol logging on the send connector and check the logs.
7.You would have use either smart host or your exchange server to directly communicate with the mail servers in internet .So please make sure the name resolution part is working fine.
8.Most importantly you need to check the send connector configurations and reach ability to the smart host if you have on your network.

I created a panelgroup layout to display all the variable inside Sectionbean.java class. and a link called "edit".
i kept this panelgrouplayout as a child for iterator .

I am getting all the values and rendering in the ui properly like above.

Hi i,m developing a HTML site and used one animated flash button(AS2) I want a small sized window to open when a user clicks on a button.
The window will contain information that i want to display.It dosnt require a normal 800x600 window to open. I just want a 1/4 size of 800x600 etc. Is this possible and if so how.

It sounds like you have chosen a publishing template rather than a word processing template. There are two basic modes in MS Word: word processing and publishing layout. Word processing mode (and all word processing templates) have a continuous text box in the page for writing text. The publishing layout mode (and publishing templates) are documents that have text boxes placed for articles, titles, pictures, etc. Be sure to choose the word document template and you’ll get what you expect. Do not choose the word publishing document.

may turn up blank to start with, so it may be necessary to reload the page.

I was thinking of switching over from Firefox myself but this minor annoyance is something I never had to deal with on FF and it may be enough to make me switch back. I'm a regular digg user and whenever I click on a story it opens up in a new window which is off-centre and not maximized and no matter how many times I fix it the next time I open a link its like that again. These are pretty basic functions of a browser so if Safari can't even handle these properly then there's no future in it for me. Also can't add different search engines to the built in search bar, lame.

Hi, I have just brought a new laptop running windows 8 and have installed Firefox. My old laptop was running XP and I didn't have a problem running Firefox on it. I am trying to install Kindle for PC on my new laptop but I keep getting the message "this link needs to be opened with an application". I've never seen this message before on any web browser that I have used. I have "googled" the question and some suggestions are:

I am also looking to get whether or not the document is open in a browser window which can be done with event.target.external, but I want it to happen without any user interaction and all the events that I tried while loading the document cause an error. I also tried xfa.host.name, but it always returns "Acrobat" whether the doc is in Reader or the browser, so I guess that is not it. If I put the call to event.target.external in a button, it works (I guess those libraries might not be initialized yet, they are legacy, but I don't know if there is an event that happens on load after that lib is initialized).
