Lost AM when browsing on new opened window

Hi All,
I have a custom OAF page with couple subtabs for user entering order. There is a checking button I created to open a new java script window with a jsp page for user checking inventory. When I opened the window, I retained AM and user have no problem if they just take look the first page on the new window. But if user click the other links on the new window to browse other month inventory, after user close the popup window, they will loose AM on the original page.
Looks like retain AM only allow user browse the first page on the new window. Once user browsing other pages on the new window, the AM on the original page is gone.
Is there any way we can resolve this issue? We want user can keep using new window to browse inventory on different month and also continue to enter order.

In the controller processRequest() method:
Insert the following check if you have executeQuery() issued on your view object.
If you already use the isPreparedForExecution() check on the view object before executing the query, as such,
if (!vo.isPreparedForExecution())
vo.executeQuery();
The reason for inserting the above check upon executeQuery() is because if a post (form submit) action occurs on a page that is different from the page where the last request was issued, OA Framework tries to re-enter the processRequest() phase to synchronize the state on the middle tier with the state on the client browser. The logic above handles cases where the request is redirected to another JVM as well. In such cases, processRequest() is entered to rebuild the web bean hierarchy.
The other option is to submit the base page using ur own js function , when u close the pop up page.The close button js function should be like:
javascript:opener.submitForm('DefaultFormName',0,{XXX:' abc'});window.close();
Now in the process request of the base page CO, u can get parametre 'XXX' from the pagecontext....so
if((("abc").equals(pageContext.getParameter("XXX"))))
{//LOGIC to initialize or not to intialize some components of base page}
