Lost Everything on my computer, please help including info/messages sent to me on the myFICO forums
Several people have been very kind and shared info to me. The one I am desperate for at the moment is the person who shared their great, detailed credit card Excel spread sheet. I am in such a state now, I cannot even recall who it was. I have done several computer searches, e-mail searches, etc., trying to find the spreadsheet. I can't believe even the info here at myFICO in my settings was affected, but it was. Maybe because I had to change some log in info. Regardless, please will that someone email the spreadsheet to me here again. I will be forever greatful.

Hi there,
I recently lost my iphone 4 on the underground. I put in a claim and have just received my replacement. It's been over a week since i lost my phone, i didnt have automatic sync with icloud set up before (i do now) and so my restore isn't as complete as it could have been.
I'm not so worried about the loss of old messages / pictures etc (par for the course), but i was my birthday the day i lost my phone and i missed half of the messages i was sent - I would really like to get these back if i can.
is there anyway that i can get messages sent to me since the phone was lost restored to my new phone?

my iphone does not sync with itunes on my second authorized computer, please help. i changed the first authorized computer in May 2012 and have been using the second authorized computer since then but it cannot sync - please help!!

Not true. The music and pic sync is one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
You really should transfer everything from the old computer, or your backup copy of your computer. Since you do not have access to the old computer, then use your backup copy of the old computer.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup copy of your computer ( not good), then you would have to transfer itunes purchased as described earlier. Any other itunes content would be lost.
You can e-mail photo library pics to yourself, but they will not be of the original quality.
Before syncing, enter at least one unique contact and calendar entry on the computer. When you first sync, then you should get the option to merge the data. -

I had an audio file made on Garage Band but it was unsaved. I left my computer on at night and for some reason this morning my computer had seemed tor restart. I opened the garage band file but nothing came up.
Is there any way I can recover this 'unsaved file'? It must be stored in cache somewhere.

I had recorded 8 or 9 rather long tracks; for an unexpected reason (first time I've ever seen the "gray screen of death") the popup window came up and in several languages told me I needed to restart the computer; did what it told me to, begrudingly. Came back online, opened the GB file, nothing was there. Yet, when I checked package contents for the file (which I didn't even know existed, compartmentalized "Media", until after reading this), there were the tracks! I owe you both for getting this up and running... album creds just may be in line. ~Matt

Albums is a way or sorting photos. Photos aren't moved from the Camera roll. The Camera Roll consists of all the photos on the phone. If you delete from Camera Roll they are deleted everywhere but Photo Stream.
Are you using Photo Stream? Your photos, providing they wer recent should still be in Photo Stream. If you have Photo Stream set up on your computer they should all be there. -
i am unable to set up my iphone 5 after reset since am getting a error stating 'unable to reach server' . i tried restoring the same from my computer but i get a error stating server unavailable' . please help me as my phone is stuck at the set up page. so i have already tried recovery mode as well.

My acer Aspire V7-481P touchscreen stopped working. I can no longer find the pen and touch settings on my computer, please help, I have tried to download all the drivers on the acer website and it is still not working. The touchscreen previously worked before

go to device manager, find Human Interface Device, find HID-compliant touchscreen (maybe under USB input device), try to enable it, click yes and restart PC
If not solved, try to perfrom system restore (back to condition when this PC working fine)

Did you change the Apple ID for an existing account? Or did you create a new Apple ID? If you created a new Apple ID, your balance will still be tied to the old account and you'll have to log into the iTunes Store using that old account to spend the balance. If you changed the ID on an existing account and can no longer see a credit balance, go here:

Did you change the ID you are using for iCoud? If so, did you delete the account, then sign back in with your new ID on your device?

and I have the recovery.cfg file from NI with this steps :
1. Copy the recovery.cfg file, found in the zip folder attached at the bottom of the email, to the thumb drive.
2. With the cRIO device powered off, plug in the USB drive to the controller.
3. Hold down the reset button while powering on the controller. Continue holding the reset button until the status light turns on, then release the reset button.
4. Wait for the controller to boot. This should take less than a minute.
5. Check that the password has been reset to the default. (you will still be prompted for a password even if the default is blank)
6. Reinstall software to the controller. Using the USB reset will leave the system in a state where it is unable to run LVRT
I have followed the procedure as mentioned
Result: the LED "Status" is permanently blinking.

Having the imei won't help you find your phone.
If you setup and enabled find my phone prior to losing it then go to icloud.com
If you didn't set it up - then there nothing you can do.
Call your carrier and let them know, change all your passwords. -

Did you just delete them from iTunes, or did you also tell it to delete the music files from your Mac ? If just from iTunes then they might still be stored under /Users/username/Music - if they are then you can add them back via File > Add To Library
If not, then whether you can redownload music depends upon what country that you are in. If you can redownload music (and if you haven't changed countries since buying it and it's still in your country's store) then it should show under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage :
If you can't redownload music then do you have a copy of it on your backup of your downloads/library that you can copy it back from ? -
