Lost the hpeprint.c​om email adress after upgrade

Hi,
After the firmware upgrade so we lost our email address. How can we get this back? We had to register the type again in our account with eprintcenter.com. When we try to register it with the address we have used until the firmware upgrade, so says the email addresses are occupied by someone else.

I hope you are doing well. and sorry to hear that you are having this issue;
Let's try simple fixes to see if we can recover that.
Try these easy steps first:
Turn wireless off and then on again (under the Setup>Wireless menu on most printers)
Turn your printer off and then back on
Ensure you have an active Internet connection. You may want to refer to “Connect to the Network,” (in the ePrint>Troubleshooting ePrint section) or “Print apps won't launch” (in the Print apps>Troubleshooting Print Apps section)
Turn your router off and then on again (most routers do not have a power switch, so simply unplug the power cord from the back of the router and then plug it in again. It may take a few minutes for the router to power up and reconnect on your network).While your router is off/rebooting/reconnecting you will lose Internet connectivity and Wi-Fi and wired connections for your computers. Close any open files that are stored on networked hard drives before rebooting the router.
Are you sure that you are using the right email for your printer?
Go to ePrintCenter and log into your account, you will see your email address in the ePrint panel.
Look for the ePrint icon:
For Photosmart: On the printer's front panel display, touch Wireless>Web Services>Display Email, or if available on your device, touch the ePrint icon on the printer front panel.
For Officejet: On the printer's front panel display, touch the ePrint icon (4.3” display only) to display the email address or Setup>Web Services Setup>Printer Email Addressto reprint the information sheet.
Photosmart Only: If you register your printer at ePrintCenter.com, your email address displays on the ePrint panel.
For LaserJet: On the printer's front panel display, touch the ePrint icon or “How to Connect” to display the email address. For LaserJet printers with the small 2 line display, please print out the information sheet to see the email address.
I could be that the email got lock due to the firmware updating process if that will be the case. Unfortunately, due the ePrint servers have very strict security settings to keep customers from receiving spam and junk mail and wasting ink and paper. One of these settings is that whenever an ePrint email address is removed from a printer, it is locked for 6 months in order so no one else can take this email address and receive messages that were intended for someone else.
