LV 6.0 runtime engine not found with labview 6.1

I recently upgraded to LabView 6.1.
Now when I try to run an exe built under 6.02, I get an error that the 6.0 (or compatable) runtime engine could not be found.
I have the developers version of labview 6.1 installed, and the labview runtime engine 6.1 installed.
Do I need to install 6.0 runtime too? (in that case do I need 5.1 ruintime instaled too for exe's built a log time ago)?
Shouldnt the 6.1 RTE be able to run older exe's?
I could find no solution searching this web site.
Thanks
Larry Junek, Certified LabVIEW Developer

Did you install 6.1 wheer 6.0 was?
You may have lost the 6.0 RTE you did not realize you where using.
Yes you need the version of RTE that matches the app.

However, nothing worked out as I am still getting the same error.

This is not an ADF related problem. I have the same problem when trying to start embedded OC4J with an simple JSP or servlet. OC4J complains about the missing class and the browser does not start automatically, but you can start the browser manually and type in the right URL. At least with servlets and JSP this works just fine - (but you are still right, it's the wrong forum).

    Thank you all.
I have been checking all possibilities.
I tried to do the cache connectivity test in thr runtime workbench, but it throws the following error:

I checked the technical and business systems for the PI system and they are maintained correctly.

  • Oracle 9i on XP Pro  error: Java Runtime Environment not Found

I run the universal installer and get this message: Java Runtime Environment not found at c:/doc...blah blah blah...local settings/temp/OraInstall/jre/bin/jrew.exe
I've installed Java 1.4 more than once with success, but the universal installer keeps trying to locate jrew.exe at the above location (which doesn't exist in the temp directory)
Q: why does it look here and/or how can I fix it?
    Thanks in advance,

For windows installations you are not in need to install Java prior to installing Oracle , remove all Java installed , clean registry and environment variables , restart machine then start reinstallation

  • Oracle 9i - Java Runtime Environment not found

I am trying to install Oracle 9i (9.2.0.1) for S/390 Linux on a SLES 9 SP 3 system. When I try to execute runInstaller, I receive the following error message:
The Java Runtime Environment was not found at IBMJava2-s390-131/jre/bin/java. (text omitted) and install JRE 1.3.1 or higher and try again.
The version of Java installed with SLES 9 SP 3 is IBMJava2 1.4.2.
The JAVA_HOME, JAVA_ROOT, JDK_HOME and JRE_HOME variables are all set to 'link' to IBMJava2-1.4, which itself is a 'link' to the IBMJava2-1.4.2 directory.
Is the Oracle runInstaller message telling me that it wants IBMJava2 -1.3.1, even though is says to install 1.3.1 or higher?
    Thanks,
    Dave

Is the Oracle runInstaller message telling me that it wants IBMJava2 -1.3.1, even though is says to install 1.3.1 or higher?Yeah, it has been known to act a bit funny on newer releases of JRE.

  • AIR App now crashes with AIR 15 runtime (did not crash with earlier versions of AIR)

    Hi,
We've noticed our AIR application now crashes when the AIR 15 (the latest version available from Adobe) runtime is installed.  This did not happen with earlier versions of AIR.  The app does not crash when I debug in Flash Builder so I cannot identify the exact issue.  The app will crash EVERY time when running the .exe on Windows.  The crash happens on Windows XP and Windows 7.  The app does not crash on OS X.
The message in Event Viewer says:
Faulting application name: PhotoMambo.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x4eb75ae0
Faulting module name: Adobe AIR.dll, version: 15.0.0.249, time stamp: 0x53fe5c69
    Exception code: 0xc0000005

Please let me know if you'd like any additional information.  This is such a bummer that an AIR update renders our app useless in Windows.
    Thank you.

I'm sorry this is happening.  Could you please open a new bug report on this over at bugbase.adobe.com?  When adding the bug, please include sample code or an application so we can quickly test this out internally.  If you'd like to keep this private, feel free to email the attachment to me directly ([email protected]).
Once added, please post back with the URL and I'll follow up internally.

  • PI 7.11 - Configuration: Adapter Engines Not found

    Hi,
We have a PI 7.11 System that is connected to a central SLD. There are also two PI 7.0 systems connected to this SLD. If i open a communicationChannel i get following message:
Adapter Engines Not foundNo SLD elements of type SAP_XIAdapterFramework found
If i look in the SLD Technical Systems (Exchange Infrastructure), i see the three PI systems but only the Adapter Engines of the two PI 7.0 systems.
How can i check if the adapter engine is up and running and if it has correctly been registered by my SLD. Are there any documentation according this configuration?
    Thanks in advance

It seems adapter engine is not registered properly. For more details, please refer to the following sap notes:

  • Error 1308.Source file not found with 9.4.2 Admin Install point

I'm including as much information in this post as possible to help narrow down my problem, so if it's too wordy I appologize.
I've created an Admin install point for Acrobat 9 patching it up to Acrobat 9.4.2 using the following commands in a batch file:
    D:
    cd \Adobe\Acrobat\AcrobatPro9
    md \Adobe\Acrobat\AcrobatPro9AIP
    start /wait msiexec /a AcroPro.msi TARGETDIR=D:\Adobe\Acrobat\AcrobatPro9AIP /Liv D:\Adobe\Acrobat\AcrobatPro9AIP\install900.log /qn

I rename the folder "AcrobatPro9AIP" to reflect the current version (e.g. "Acrobat9.4.2"), copy the folder to my DFS, create an MST with the Customization Wizard, and then deploy with Group Policy.
Before I deploy I always run a few test installations on two Windows XP 32-bit machines, and two Windows 7 64-bit workstations. I've been using this method to build my install point for the last 5 Adobe patches without a problem, but suddenly with version 9.4.2 my test workstations pop up with the following error during the installation via the standard installation method "msiexec /i acropro.msi TRANSFORMS=acropro.mst":
I built my installation package for acrobat9.4.1, 9.4.0 and 9.3.3 exactly the same way and the installations did not have this error. The file in question "Adobe.Acrobat.Dependencies.manifest" does not exist in my 9.4.1, or 9.4.0 package folders, nor does it exist in the 9.4.2 folder. Any suggestions?

I am having the same problem, all the relevant info was already covered in the "thewaker" post above.   I too have made a script to make a Admin install with patches up to 9.4.2.  The script worked for 9.3.3 but when I remade the AdobeAIP for 9.4.2, I too got this error when installing it, even manually.  (Error 1308.Source file not found.  Adobe.Acrobat.Dependencies.manifest ) Running on Windows 7 32bit.
    Here is my Script.
    C:
    cd\AcroBatPro9
    md \AcrobatPro9AIP
    start /wait msiexec /a AcroPro.msi TARGETDIR=C:\AcrobatPro9AIP /Liv c:\AcrobatPro9AIP\install900.log /qn
    cd \AcrobatPro9AIP
    start /wait msiexec /p c:\AcrobatPro9\AcroProStdUpd910_T1T2_incr.msp /a AcroPro.msi TARGETDIR=C:\AcrobatPro9AIP PATCHAIP=1 /Liv install910.log /qn
    start /wait msiexec /p c:\AcrobatPro9\AcrobatUpd912_all_incr.msp /a AcroPro.msi TARGETDIR=C:\AcrobatPro9AIP PATCHAIP=1 /Liv install912.log /qn
    start /wait msiexec /p c:\AcrobatPro9\AcrobatUpd920_all_incr.msp /a AcroPro.msi TARGETDIR=C:\AcrobatPro9AIP PATCHAIP=1 /Liv install920.log /qn
    start /wait msiexec /p c:\AcrobatPro9\AcrobatUpd930_all_incr.msp /a AcroPro.msi TARGETDIR=C:\AcrobatPro9AIP PATCHAIP=1 /Liv install930.log /qn
    start /wait msiexec /p c:\AcrobatPro9\AcrobatUpd932_all_incr.msp /a AcroPro.msi TARGETDIR=C:\AcrobatPro9AIP PATCHAIP=1 /Liv install932.log /qn
    start /wait msiexec /p c:\AcrobatPro9\AcrobatUpd933_all_incr.msp /a AcroPro.msi TARGETDIR=C:\AcrobatPro9AIP PATCHAIP=1 /Liv install933.log /qn
    start /wait msiexec /p c:\AcrobatPro9\AcrobatUpd940_all_incr.msp /a AcroPro.msi TARGETDIR=C:\AcrobatPro9AIP PATCHAIP=1 /Liv install940.log /qn
    start /wait msiexec /p c:\AcrobatPro9\AcrobatUpd942_all_incr.msp /a AcroPro.msi TARGETDIR=C:\AcrobatPro9AIP PATCHAIP=1 /Liv install942.log /qn
I did notice though that the "thewaker" has added AcrobatUpd941_all_incr.msp to his script, which is a security update. Which may be "a" problem, but I don’t think this is related to the problem we are having.
    Administrative deployment
Administration Installation Point (AIP) deployments must not apply a quarterly update AIP in which a security update was the most recently applied update. Because a quarterly update includes the changes implemented in all recent security updates, the quarterly update forcibly bypasses those updates entirely. To deploy a quarterly update from an AIP, create a AIP which includes only quarterly updates as follows:
        Acceptable:      Acrobat 9.0.0 -> 9.1.0 (Quarterly) -> 9.1.2 (Quarterly) -> 9.2.0 (Quarterly) -> 9.3.0 (Quarterly) -> 9.3.2 (Quarterly) -> 9.3.3 (Quarterly) ->  9.4.0 (Quarterly) -> 9.4.1 (Security)
        Acceptable:      Acrobat 9.0.0 -> 9.1.0 (Quarterly) -> 9.1.2 (Quarterly) -> 9.2.0 (Quarterly) -> 9.3.0 (Quarterly) -> 9.3.2 (Quarterly) -> 9.3.3 (Quarterly) -> 9.4.0 (Quarterly) -> 9.4.2 (Quarterly)
        Unacceptable:  Acrobat 9.0.0 -> 9.1.0 (Quarterly) -> 9.1.2 (Quarterly) -> 9.2.0 (Quarterly) -> 9.3.0 (Quarterly) -> 9.3.2 (Quarterly) -> 9.3.3 (Quarterly) -> 9.4.0 (Quarterly) -> 9.4.1 (Security) -> 9.4.2 (Quarterly)
Anyway.. Any help with this would be helpful as I would like to deploy it soon.
    Thanks.

  • Transaction RSPLAN don't work because of J2EE engine not found

    Hi,
I install successfully the new version.
I have some problems when i launch RSPLAN. The message "The J2EE is not found" appears. The browser is not launched.
When i go to the RSPLSA transaction, and i try to change the option from "Bex Portal Server "to - Free URL Prefix" and i insert: http://localhost:8000 - it does not ok too.
    Can you help me?
    Thanks.
    Arnaud

    Hi Arnaud,
the transaction RSPLAN start the BI Integrated Planning. This application run only with the Java-Stack.
I think you have install the SAP NetWeaver 7.01 - ABAP Trial Version that only include the ABAP-Stack. If you intreset in SEM-BPS you can try "BPS0" - Planning Workbench for BW BPS this Applilcation based on the ABAP-Stack.

  • HELP!! Nokia's API classes not found with j2me WTK

I setup j2me WTK, jdk1.4.2 and also Nokia's SDK (Series_60_MIDP_SDK_for_Symbian_OS_v_1_2_1) on my Win NT 4.0 machine.
J2ME samples (shipped with it) are working fine with ktoolbar. but when i try to build & run nokia samples, they are always giving error "FullCanvas class not found" and "package com.nokia.lcd.ui.* not found". I am sure it is the problem of placement of classes of nokia at correct place inside j2me's WTK. However, i followed the guidelines to install symbian sdk inside wtk401\wtklib\devices folder (as per instructions of forum nokia). But i am still not able to get it running. Any expert suggestions, then plz respond me , i am in urgent need to solve this issue!!!! plz help me!!!!

    Hi,
Maybe I'm being thick but I can't get this work. I've tried zipping the com/nokia stuff into the midpapi.zip. And I've tried just replacing midapi.zip with classes.zip from the nokia emulator. But it still says:
    "package nokia.mid.ui does not exist
    import nokia.mid.ui.*;"
    I'm using ktoolbar 1.04.
    Many thanks!
    CP
Hey, thanks for the great tip. Was also using
KToolbar because it runs faster on my slow laptop than
    Sun One studio.
With the later version of WTK, the paths
    C:\...\WTK21\lib contains 2 files, midpapi20.zip and
    midpapi10.zip
The later contains classes for compiling to MIDP1.0
standard. I think most people use this. Replace it
    the class.zip in
    C:\Nokia\Devices\Nokia_7210_MIDP_SDK_v1_0\lib if
you're using the same SDK as I am, and don't forget to
    rename it.
    Cheers.

  • Class not found with jms cache sync

hi. when i try to use the remote command manager in my live environment only i get a class not found exception for my initial context factory. using a debugger i discovered this is actually hiding a linkage error. so i confirmed that my resin and java versions and all my jars are the same between live and stage, where this works no problem. but still doesn't work in production. any ideas what else i should look at? here's a stack trace

I would guess the problem is related to the application's class-loader visibility. Verify that your application can access the class org.exolab.jms.jndi.InitialContextFactory forio to launching the TopLink session. If it cannot then you may need to address the container's access to this library.
