Mac to PC - How to transfer apps??

I have a vintage 2006 Macbook Pro and it's on it's last leg. Before it completely quits I would like to use my AMD PC to start syncing my iPhone. I have no problem with the music because I am using iTunes Match - music and pod casts are synced but not the apps. I will be getting a new Mac but not for at least 4-6 months and I do not want to wait. You know - Just in case!!! LOL
My question is this: How to I get all the apps that are on my Mac to go over to the PC? (short of having to download them all to the PC iTunes!)

This is where I heartily dislike Apple because they use the same word for things running on a computer and completely different things on an i-device -- "app". Do you mean apps as in applications for a computer, or apps as in little programs running on your phone?
Mac computer applications won't run on a PC. If you have applications on your 2006 Mac then they were likely either supplied on discs (CD, DVD) or newer ones that you download directly from Apple. You should be able to download them again later, or still use the discs to reinstall. If they date from 2006 it is just possible they will no longer run on a new Mac.
If you mean apps, I believe those are part of your iTunes library. If you don't have an iTunes library already on your PC you can transfer the Mac one to it by copying the whole iTunes folder on the Mac to a drive readable by the PC, or via network, copy it to your PC, hold down the shift key on the PC while starting iTunes, then guide it to the library location. If you do have an iTunes library it may be possible to ferret out apps from a particular folder and transfer them to the PC, but it should be possible to download them again directly to the PC from your iTunes account.

Content and Apple IDs -
Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple ID to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. You will never be able to access your content bought with one Apple ID with a new Apple ID.

HI All. I have yet to grab Lion & still have all my apps on my Win 7 laptop. Via iCloud I have DL'd all my apps onto my Mac. Via Smb & other transfer methods I have the bulk of my iTunes library (music,e books, Audiobooks,films & tv) on my Mac BUT I still have no idea how to perform the 1st sync of my iTouch to iTunes on the Mac & ensure that all my app's will be transferred as they are (all settings in Tact & such re games or iQuarium-Do not want to lose my 2 year old fish ) . I do not have an external drive so I am & have so far done all of this via PC to Router To Mac.
Obviously I really need some help to finish this process. I thank you all so much in advance.

I was using a PC with my iPAD2. PC has died. I have bought a MacBook Air. I have managed to transfer iTunes from iPAD2 to Air. However, cannot fuigure out how to sync apps onto my Air? This is critical because iPAD has a failing battery and it will be replaced. How do I not lose all the apps on the iPAD?

Connect iPad.
Cancel out of the synced with other computer message.
Right click on the icon of the iPad in iTunes, select transfer purchases.
Also, open iTunes-go to the store.
Look for "purchased" on the top right.
Click on the link-shows music, tv shows, apps purchased from iTunes.
You can download from there.

Hello, I really need some help.
I have looked all over the web for ways to transfer apps between two different game center accounts and different devices. Several weeks ago I started playing Campus Life on my relative's Ipad 2, therefore spending many long hours to get to this point in the game.
The problem is I just got an Iphone 5 and I really would like to transfer the data onto it, so that I would not need to start all over again.
My grandma has an account (Game Center) onto which the data has been saved and I would like to have it stored onto mine. On some forum someone said to sign into the account which has the data on both devices and to then open up the game on the new device. It worked. Then I signed out and logged in with my own account- the game started from scratch. I panicked. I went back on the other account, and the data reappeared. I have been going back and forth, the game changing as many times. I thought it would ask to back up my grandma's data on mine but I was wrong. I can not seem to save the game onto my new account, and I have even tried to back it up to Itunes and then copy it onto my phone after having signed into my own account. And I don't know how to properly use Icloud. I am a mess. I am completely lost and have found no help on the web. (All people seem to have to deal with is sharing Apple IDs with different Game Center Accounts for the kids and transferring apps from one of their devices to another.)
I am so worried I am going to mess up and will lose the whole thing completely.
I have just started another game with my own account but since I am using my grandma's, the data is erased. It's one or the other but I definitely prefer saving Campus Life. I do not like the idea of having to only pick one.
I do not know any technical terms, so if you understand or even have the slightest clue about what I am talking about, I applaud you.
This seems like mission impossible, so if anyone can help in any way, I would be really grateful.

I bought a new computer and I was wondering how I transfer music/apps from my ipod touch gen 5 to my new computer/new itunes? I'm pretty much an idiot when it comes to computer I get my music from places other than itunes and I don't want to lose them.

The ipad is not a storage/backup device. The sync is one way - computer to ipod. the only exception is itunes purchases. File>devices>Transfer Purchases
You should copy everything from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer, as you would normally do when you get a new computer. Try it to see how to transfer music from iPad to computer.
