MACBOOK white 13.3 INCH CAN'T FIND INTERNAL KEYBOARD

Hi, I'm in serious problem with my macbook white 13.3 inch late 2008 running with mac osX 10.5.8. I was using my mac without any problem. Suddenly one day after resrarting, yhe built in keyboard & trackpad stopped working. I continued with external keyboard & mouse. after about 2 months, A message comes after login when the external keyboard or mouse was unplugged: There isn't a mouse/keyboard connected..... then it searches for bluetooth keyboard /mouse. Pls help me. I don't know what to do....

Your subject indicates an audio issue but your post indicates it may be a video issue.
Does this problem happen if you just play an audio file that is already on your computer?
Online streaming requires a solid high-bandwidth connection for smoothness.
You may also check the Activity Monitor to be sure you are not running out of RAM and thereby using the HD for additional storage - a situation known as "thrasing."

The scroll bar only appears when you are scrolling with your trackpad. If you want to make it show always, open System Preferences > General, and mark "Always" next to "Show scroll bars".
Then, Mac keyboards have not got a Home or End key

Did you tap in the box at the bottom of iMessage?
If you did and no keyboard is showing: Do a reset
Reset: Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Note: You will not lose any data
If that didn't helped, double tap Home button, delete the Message app and reset again.

MacBook Pro 2013 windows 7 can't find USB

Hi, i have a problem installing Windows 7 on my new MacBook Pro 13" 2013.
Here's what i did before it goes wrong.
I made an .iso file from original Windows 7 DVD, ran BootCamp and chose the option to install the .iso file on a USB stick (8GB 3.0), installed Windows drivers on the same stick, partioned my drive (40 some gigs). Then the computer reboots and Windows installation progresses until it want to use the drivers installed on the USB stick. It seems it can't find the USB stick? I've tried to use another USB stick, and changing USB ports, but nothing.
Does anybody have a take on what could be wrong?

Where can I find internal HD for G5???

Just went to my local Apple store to look for an internal HD for my powerMac dual core g5. They don't have any?????
Do you know where can I find one and what type of HD do I need.

The cable to hook it up should already be present inside your G5. There should also be some black plastic mounting 'screws' next to the drive bays that you put into the side of the hard drive (to hold it in place inside the bay). As for formatting, just open the Disk Utility program, which can be found in the Utilities folder inside the Applications folder. Once it is opened, you should see the Samsung hard drive in the left hand column. Once you highlight it, click on the Partition tab. If you only want one partition, leave the settings as they are & click the Partition button. If you want more then one partition, then use the drop down menu under where is says Volume Scheme to select how many partitions you want. Enjoy your new drive when you get it!

Can't find a keyboard shortcut in System Preferences...

I'd like to change the command-w shortcut to the F13 key but can't find command-w in the list of keyboard shortcuts. What am I doing wrong?

In which Application?
Say it's the finder, 1st make sure F13 isn't used in Expose/Dashboard, then in KB & Mouse scroll down to Application Keyboard Shortcuts, choose Finder, hit the plus sign, tyope in Close Window, then hit the F13 key, exit, force quit the Finder or restart for it to take effect.

HT5633 Apple TV 5.2 can't find wireless keyboard

I have a 2011 iMac with wireless keyboard, magic mouse and magic trackpad and I just bought Apple TV yesterday. I have repeatedly tried to pair my keyboard with my Apple TV using bluetooth but Apple TV never finds my keyboard, the screen just has the spinning circle with the words "searching". I have brought my keyboard into close proximity to the Apple TV, just in case it was too far away, with no change.
My keyboard, trackpad and mouse are all discoverable on my iMac and still nothing.
The batteries are not old, the keyboard is set to "discoverable" and my iMac connects with Apple TV with no issues, so I cannot for the life of me figure out what is preventing my Apple TV from recognising that there is a compatable bluetooth device available.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as it's an absolute PITA to use the remote to enter passwords etc.

I was having the same issue. I turned bluetooth OFF on all devices in the room including my Macbook and my iPhone5. The ATV3 then successfully paired with my Apple Wireless Keyboard. I hope this helps. Good luck.

[SOLVED] usb install of arch can't find internal hard disks

I installed arch to a 4gb usb flash drive and it works great. Keeping it bare bones for now without a GUI to force myself to learn more about linux and how it works. However, I would like to mount and access the internal hard drives of the "host" computer that i'm booting the usb on, and I can't seem to find them.
ls /dev/disk/by-anything only shows the usb device that arch is installed to and udev and something else I can't remember right now. Same results when I enter df -h.
I know that this is possible somehow, because I also have a live usb of Ubuntu 10.10 on another usb stick that can access the internal disks. However, my ubuntu stick also has a gui, Hal, etc and is a persistent live-disk-to-usb rather than an actual usb stick installation. Does that affect things?
I apologize if this is already covered somewhere. I am a super n00b with arch and I did my best to search both google and the forums.

i will do this next. i'm pretty sure that the cables are connected properly, seeing that i can boot the computers in question without the usb stick and have full access to available drives.

EDIT: alright, i looked at /proc/partitions and this is what it says:

so it looks like my internal drive is recognized somehow. my new question would be, what exactly is the difference between /proc/partitions and /dev/disk/ ?? and how do i find out more identifying/location information about hda to mount it into an accessible location in my file system?

BT Assistant Can't find BT Keyboard on Startup

I have been out of town and have not used my iMac for a couple weeks. I just powered on and cannot find my BT Keyboard. The BT Assistant comes up and searches. I have flipped it over and confirmed that it is turned on. I have turned it off and then back on and still it cannot find the keyboard. Argh!
Any ideas?
I have an iMac - I think the BT came internally with the computer, it's about a month old, I'm new to Mac, so I am appreciative of any suggestions!!

On nordic layout keyboards, we have these letters: Æ Ø Å on the right side of the keyboard
Additional physical keys are not needed, and no keyboard is likely to provide them. Instead, a keyboard translation table (software already included in your Mac) is used to change the function of the keys to the right of and below the P key.
In the three Norweigian keyboard translations, those key translations [ Æ Ø Å ]are provided. One of the Swedish translations provides them as well. The only thing missing is the graphic on the standard key-cap. Use a sticker or a sharpie marker to write the graphic on the key.

Hi all, Im from Croatia, Europe, and I'm trying to buy the logic board for my Macbook pro that died recently. I've been to Apple reseler here and they are asking too much 1300$ for repair. The model of my logic board is 820-2101-A. Does anyone knows where can I buy it for less than 500$. I tried ebay, there is no my model. Thanks!

There is a knowing issue on NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT. It might cause be the problem of your logic board.

I have a problem with my macbook pro 15" which bought around June 2007.I believe logic board is bad. Take to store and they quote $310 to fix MBP if the problem is not cause by video issue or free if it cause by video issue. Hope this info can help you.

Macbook Pro 10.6.5 can't find my LCD-tv

I'm having issues connecting my Macbook Pro to my LG-LCd with this update.
It works well with update 10.6.2 but not:
10.6.3
10.6.4
and now 10.6.5
The screen does flash in light blue on MB as it usually does when it is connected but I get no picture on the tv. The Mac acts like nothing apart from that.
Anyone else having a similar issue?

I think this is a continuing problem with the drivers for the lower spec graphics chip on the MacBook Pro and other systems. I have the same problem with a 20" LG monitor when my MacBook Pro is set for 'Better battery life' in the Energy Saver prefs. This energy setting makes the MacBook Pro use the NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics processor. However, if you switch to the higher spec graphics chip by setting the Energy Saver to 'Higher Performance' and logout and back in again, it'll switch to using the better NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT graphics processor instead. With the higher spec graphics processor selected, I find the problem goes away!
It looks like 10.6.2 was the last version of Snow Leopard that has decent driver software for the lower spec NVIDIA GeForce 9400M. Even the recent 10.6.5 doesn't seem to have this working properly!
