Mail - Delay sending of a composed message

Hi,
I wanted to know if there is a way in Apple mail which will delay sending mail for some time. Say I have composed a message today but I want to send that email tomorrow afternoon. Is there some way or some plugin with which I can do this ?

I think you are looking for more of an auto-send, than what the previous user suggested. I am not sure if Mac can do this, but if you Google "send e-mail at specific time", there are many programs that will allow you to do this. I know that some of them will interface with Outlook, and Entourage, so if you are sending the Mac e-mail through Entourage, you should be able to find the right free software.
FYI. There are also services that allow you to do this with a text.

Workflow Mailer Delays Sending Messages

Greetings,
We recently installed Workflow 2.6.3.5, and have noticed a very strange problem. The Workflow Mailer will propagate messages starting at 1 second, then 2 seconds, then 4 seconds, then 8 seconds, steadily increasing to 240 seconds. Then the messages will propagate for some time at 240 seconds. Then the sequencing resets back to one second, and increases to 240 seconds.
We've opened a TAR on metalink, but Oracle has been veryslow to respond. As a result of the delay in propagation we have almost 2000 messages in our WF_NOTIFICATION_OUT queue that need to be sent.
Has anyone seen this problem and can recommend a solution?

Cannot send e-mail - "The sender address invalid" error message

Today I keep getting this error message "The sender address is invalid - when i try to send e-mail. I checked my settings and they are the same as always - my e-mail address hasn't changed; the outgoing and incoming server information is the same. I went through the Troubleshooting steps and still nothing. Also it's taking a really long time to connect to check for incoming e-mails. Any clues on why this is happening or what I should try next? The e-mail is via Roadrunner does that matter (althoug it didn't a couple of days ago)

This message means that your outgoing email server is not letting you connect to send email. Maybe RR changed their policy. You should be able to send using home WiFi, but when using 3G RR will not allow connections from outside their network.
One easy way around this, is to use the built-in AT&T SMTP server for outgoing email.
Or, check the RR FAQs and see if they allow an authenticated account to send email - maybe you just need to add SSL and username/pwd on the RR outgoing email server settings.
BTW - this is asked almost daily - the "Search Discussions" box to your right would have given you many hits with the same answer.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

Wishlist: Apple Mail delayed send

Wishlist for Apple Mail.
I would really like to have the option to send emails at scheduled times with Apple Mail. I.e. Send email on Monday 8:00am as to not send out work related emails over the weekend, but first thing Monday morning (in order not to annoy colleagues who get alerts on their iPhone when new mail arrives). Microsoft
Outlook seems to have mastered this feature, I am sure Apple can do the same.
For now I will have to use 3rd party tool Mail Scripts.

In the Mail menu, there is an option to send feedback to apple. That is the appropriate way to request enhancements.

Windows Mail wont bring up compose message when you click file send link in firefox

When I click "send link" under file in Firefox 3.6 Windows Mail will not bring up "compose message" . It just opens Windows Mail without the compose message. All defaults are set and it works fine with IE. Any help would be appreciated. Running Windows 7 64

There is usually a toolbar button in the editor to turn a text link into a clickable hyperlink (look for a chain like button).<br />
You can select the text and click that button to turn the link into a clickable hyperlink.<br />
If you can't find the button then hover them all to check the tooltip of each.

Messages in Outbox (email) will not send. Getting error message.....

Lately I cannot get any messages in my email outbox to send (pics I take, then forward through email). I keep getting an error message, "A copy has been placed in your mailbox. The sender address "xxxx" was rejected by the server." It is the same email address (also apple id) for comcast I have used for years and it always worked before. Can anyone help me solve this problem? Running version 6.1.3 software. I am so frustrated.....

TS3276 I have two email accounts set up on Mail. One shows the unread messages and the other one doesn't... how can I get it to show both account's unread messages?

I have two email accounts set up on my Mail application. Both pull in and send just fine but ever since I upgrade the exchange sever and re-setup the account It won't show the unread (number) to the right of the inbox? The other one shows up just fine. Any clues would be great! Thank you.

I can't get AOl mail to send on my iMac or Mac Pro.

I have 2 email accounts set up on all of my devices but the AOL account will not send on my Macpro or Mac PC. it is fine on Ipad and Iphone.

Outgoing mail not sending - ISP has verified correct settings

The outgoing email on my IMAC is not working - unable to send - my ISP has confirmed the settings are correct - incoming emails working properly.

Mail won't retrieve my gmail messages since this afternoon. Can anyone help me?

Since this afternoon, Mail won't retrieve any of my email messages. It sends my messages, but stays a long time "preparing to retrieve", until the activity closes as if there were no messages to retrieve (although they are in my gmail).
I haven't changed any settings at all. I use OS X 10.7.5.

Mail not sending. Incoming ok.

Since upgrading to Yosemite I have been unable to send mail from my iMac. It goes straight into the outbox. There is no problem receiving mail. I have also downloaded The update Yosemite 10.10.1. I have checked settings and passwords (4 different accounts) and that seems ok.
ANy suggestions.

I cant send mail using my yahoo accounts on my email app, but it will send by using my work email (exchange). When I try to send an email i get a message that says "Cannot send message using the Yahoo server". How can I fix this?

I've learned how to use iCal Alarm to schedule sending an e-mail. However, all of the instructions I read say that I have to type the e-mail inside the automator's "New Mail Message". Is there a way to type the message in Mail, save it in drafts, and then create an iCal Alarm to schedule sending it?
I got as far as "Get Specified Mail Items" --> "Display Mail Messages". This sequence displayed a message in Drafts. What next to get it to send that message it displayed? I tried adding "Send Outgoing Message" to the sequence with no success. And I tried adding "New Mail Message" --> "Send Outgoing Message" to the sequence with no success.
