Mailbox not visible in EMC

Hello.
I have a mailbox that is moved from exchange 2010 to Exchange 2013 using Cmdlet Move-mailbox. After moving the mailbox is not visible in the EMC in Exchange 2013. However, it appears using Get-Mailbox cmdlet.
Any ideas on why it does not appear in EMC?

Hi Roger,
Hope you are refering to New-MoveRequest cmdlet. Let me know, if you have used anything else.
Move-Mailbox is Exchange 2007 cmdlet and can't be used to move it to Ex2013.
Check which OU, the mailbox has moved to.
Check if AD replication is fine, the Shell might be pointing to some other DC and EAC somwhere else.
Check if you have any receipent scope defined in the EAC search scope.
Doest Get-Mailbox confirms the database is Ex2013
Below command would tell you the location of the object.
Get-Mailbox -Id User1 | fl Name,DistinguishedName,Database
Please note in
some scenarios Get-Mailbox Doesnt return the correct updated info, use the below cmdlets:
get-mailbox -Id User1 | get-mailboxstatistics |fl Displayname, ServerName, Database

    I've upgraded my Mac mini from Leopard to Snow Leopard.
    In my Mail, I had external mailboxes located to a Mac OS X server.
    I don't know how I can get back my mailboxes without having to import the mailboxes.
    Do I have to edit the com.apple.mail.plist manually ?

    I've checked my previous com.apple.mail.plist and the section
    ActiveViewers/0/AttachedMailboxListExpandedItems
    contains the same items.
    Ie:
    0 : /Volumes/doahome/Library/Mail/Mailboxes/Advanced Dedicated Software.mbox
    1 : /Volumes/doahome/Library/Mail/Mailboxes/Advanced Dedicated Software/Clients.mbox
    28 : /Volumes/doahome/Library/Mail/Mailboxes/Kadeo/Server/Support Site.mbox
    But these mailboxes are not displayed in Mail.
    Why ????

  • Why don't PDF attachments not visible in mail.

    Mail is not displaying PDF's that are attached in the body of the email.  We have been dragging and dropping pdf and jpeg images into emails for years. The images are visible
    in the anders email but not to the receiver.  What changed?  Why are they not visible. We shouldn't have to down load or use quick view to see them.  The image files are under 1 mb.

    I've rebuilt mailboxes and re-added accounts to no avail.
    Attachments are working fine in the web interface but when syched with IMAP to Mail - no worky.
    I get a winmail.dat file instead.

    I have added some new target properties using emcli "add_target_property" command. I see them on targets and set values but they are not visible for selection on any EM12c screens i.e. pull down manues or setting up filters for group creation etc. Does any one know how to make them available on EM12c screen menues?

    From the error message you have mentioned, it seems that the web front end servers are out of synchronization. You can use the following steps to fix it:
    Restart the SharePoint 2010 Administration on all of the Web Front End servers (or at least just make sure to restart the one on the WFE where the deployment failed).
    Restart the SharePoint 2010 Timer service on all Web Front End servers.
    The SharePoint 2010 Administration service carries out the actual removing and adding of files the GAC (Global Assembly Cache). This works most of the time and the service will release the handle on a file.
    However, if the Administration service does not release the handle on the file, then you will also need to restart the Timer service. Restarting the timer service on SharePoint 2010 will restart all SharePoint 2010 timer jobs and you will need to delay installation
    for a while, until all of those jobs have had a chance to complete.
    In addition, I suggest that you clear the configuration cache on the server, then test again.

  • Certain mailboxes not showing the stored mails

    After upgrading to OSX mavericks, mails in certain folders are not visible --  ony headers can be seen without the mail contents.
    How to get it back ?

    I had the same problem, and here is how I solved it.
    Note that this is a bad trick, and I don't guarantee it will work for you, but it did for me.
    Quit mail
    Go to the ~Library/Mail folder (you can find the ~Library folder by holding the option key and choose to Go To menu in the menu bar).
    There, you should see a V2 folder, with a Mailboxes folder inside.
    In that Mailboxes folder, I had some of my corrupted mailboxes (the ones with the empty mails) and the same mailbox folder with a "-2" suffix. I deleted the mailbox and renamed the "-2" to remove the suffix.
    Launch Mail again, that worked for me.

  • Unread messages not visible.

    New user of Macs - about a fortnight, and having issues, not so much with using the MacBook, but trying to work out why and where to find things. Latest issue which started this morning is on downloading messages from my POP3 account, I get 3 unread messages, but not visible anywhere. I read through the other discussions and checked my mail folder in library and found the messages, which were legit, not spam. Moved them to trash and checked the count on the inbox and they had gone. Later in the day i logged in again and have a similar message of x messages, 3 unread - mail folder in the library has different messages this time. Also with the unread messages comes (but not always) and blank header - so there is a dot in the first column to indicate a new message but the remainder of the line is blank, and the preview pane tells me to go to the server to read the message - however there is nothing in webmail server, inbox is empty since it has all been downloaded to MacBook.
    Any thoughts or hints?

    The problem is probably that the mailbox has lost the .mbox suffix in the filesystem, but you appear to have introduced new issues by tinkering with the contents of ~/Library/Mail/ without taking the index into consideration...
    Report the names of the files and folders present at the first level of the ~/Library/Mail/POP-username@mailserver/ account folder in the Finder.
    In order to post the exact file names and avoid typing mistakes, proceed as follows. In the Finder, go to ~/Library/Mail/POP-username@mailserver/. With that folder open, if you’re looking at it in View > as List mode, first collapse any expanded folders so that the Finder only shows the files and folders at the first level. Now, do Edit > Select All (⌘A), then Edit > Copy (⌘C), and paste it in your reply to this post.
    Note: For those not familiarized with the ~/ notation, it refers to the user’s home folder, i.e. ~/Library is the Library folder within the user’s home folder.

  • Deleted messages in POP account not visible in Trash

    Having a problem with deleting messages on my wife's iBook G4 (Tiger). For some reason there are 2 Trash sub-folders under the main Trash icon. One is labeled "On My Mac", and the other is labeled "POP Account".
    Messages deleted from the Inbox go to the "POP Account" trash, but are not visible on the screen (clicking on the Trash icon in Mail). The deleted message can be found using finder: home/library/mail/[email protected]/Deleted Messages/Messages/name of deleted message (which is a 5 digit number followed by .emlx)
    If I drag a message from the Inbox to the "On My Mac" trash folder, the message will be visible in that folder as well as when clicking on the main Trash icon.
    I have set the mail account preference to erase deleted mail after one month, also selected Rebuild the mailbox with no effect on getting the deleted messages in the POP account to show.
    Any suggestions on how to show the deleted messages in the Trash folder would be appreciated.

    For some reason there are 2 Trash sub-folders under the
    main Trash icon. One is labeled "On My Mac", and the other
    is labeled "POP Account".
    This is normal. The "On My Mac" named Trash mailbox is used when selecting a message for deletion that is located in any user created "On My Mac" mailbox.
    The POP account's Trash mailbox may have some corruption. After confirming all existing messages marked for deletion that are located in the account's Trash mailbox can be deleted, quit Mail first and using the Finder, go to Home > Library > Mail > this account named folder > Deleted Messages.mbox.
    Delete the Deleted Messages.mbox folder and empty the Trash.
    Launch Mail and a new Deleted Messages.mbox folder will be created automatically by Mail within the account named folder when selecting the next message for deletion that is located in any of the accounts' mailboxes - Inbox, Sent, etc.

    Based on my research and test, the WorkingElsewhere field is applicable for clients that target Exchange Online and versions of Exchange starting with Exchange Server 2013.
    Between outlook 2013 clients and mailbox being on Exchange 2010, the meeting invite would show as "Working Elsewhere" for each of the attendees in their respective calendars but does not show any information regarding other attendee who accepted
    the meeting request.
    Thus, the Working Elsewhere field is visible in attendees’ Schedule Assistant with outlook 2013 and mailbox on Exchange 2013. Here is an article talked about it:

  • Mail folders are not visible

    When I open one of my mail folders and then return to the mailboxes list, the inbox is not visible. After advice I swiped the mail page from the screen and then reselected the mail programme. The inbox was then visible as normal. The situation repeats itself every time I open a folder and try to return to the inbox. It has now resulted in ny inbox emptying completely

    I have no clue how many were sold in the channel, and I have seen no claims about numbers yet from either Apple or at&t.
    I have no iPhone and have not tried to activate one, so I have no actual personal experience with the issues reported. Most appear to be oversights, primarily on the part of at&t, I think. The long activations periods due to existing Cingular account conversions, the ZIP code problems and the the credit holds all seem to be primarily a problem on their end. As some have pointed out, it doesn't appear that this system was properly tested in advance of activation.
    I do like the concept of iTunes activation: it's just unfortunate that so many experienced problems with it.

  • External hard drive not visible in disk utility or finder

    Hi all,
    I have had a good look through previous discussions and I can't seem to find an issue relevant to mine.
    My external hard drive has 2 partitions (1 time machine back up, 1 general hard drive). The issue is that the HD is running when it is plugged in however it is not visible in either disk utility or finder.
    I am running OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) on a 2010 MacBook Pro. I also have parallels desktop running windows 7. When I boot windows and plug in the HD I usually get the option to mount the HD to either OS X or Windows. With this issue the option window appears for a split second (not enough time to select either) and then disappears. It seems that the HD may be ejecting itself as soon as it is registered by the computer. I have tried using a different power cable for the HD and also a different usb cable, this doesn't help.
    The external HD is a Samsung D3 Station, which i have had for 6 months now and never had an issue with.
    Any help is appreciated

    An update for anyone who can help me:
    I have tried the external hard drive in other computers (mac and windows), each time I get the same problem above.
    I have removed the HD from the enclosure and purchased a docking station for it (3.5" SATA). When I plug it in to the laptop it disconnects itself straight away before it is visible. With the windows computers it installs the drivers and says that the device is ready to use, then disconnects before it shows up.
    As the HD is not visible there is no option to re-format or anything.
    This is very frustrating as I was using the HD with no issues and it randomly disconnected and I have not been able to access since.

    I have this wiered issue.
    I want to import IDOC WPUSKR01 (cashier productivity) from BI.
    But when I connect to BI system from IR to import Idoc structure, this IDOC is not visible.
    But I can manually import the metadata from BI in idx2.
    Now how to import this in IR?
    I have imported other Idocs (like WPUBON) before and did the scenario successfully for BI.

    In BI Tcode we82 I have manually added the entries for WPUKSR01. Now Idoc is visible when importing in IR.
    I have checked all the segments in we31, they are all released.
    But it gives error:
    Error: IDoc type WPUKSR01 contains errors (unable to read segments)
    Then, I checked in R/3, there also WPUKSR01 was not there in we82. I manually added there and I was successfully able to import it in IR.
    But the same thing is failing in BI. I have SAPALL permissions in all the systems.
    Can I use Idoc imported from R/3 in scenario for BI?

    I use a Tolino Shine and can download E-Books via WLAN directly to it. I can also download the books to my netbook. However, when I plug the Tolino into my netbook it is not visible in the Adobe library and I cannot move books from the library to the Tolino.
    I tried to reset the Tolino to the manufacturer settings. This did not improve the situation.
    Any suggestions?

    Hi BI Experts, Good morning.
    We load the inventory data daily in the night time which is delta load.
    5 days back, we got 0 records and the request is in red.Then i rerun the infopackage manually and got the total records in to the cube.
    From that day onwards its running successfully.
    Yesterday i deleted the bad request from infocube.
    But the Reporting flag is not visible.
    Today i didnot get the records.
    Please can anyone tell me the process.

    I tried to run it manually but it gives error.
    The error message is:
    Short text
        An exception occurred that was not caught.
    What happened?
        The exception 'CX_RSR_X_MESSAGE' was raised, but it was not caught anywhere
         along
        the call hierarchy.
        Since exceptions represent error situations and this error was not
        adequately responded to, the running ABAP program 'SAPLRRMS' has to be
        terminated.
    Please give me the reply.
