Maintaining Constant Sender Address in the Email of Batch Job

Hi,
I have created a smartform whcih will be sent via Batch job at a partcular time .And everytime the Sender Id is "BATCH.JOB".
Actually the businesswants the sender address to be XYZ.com instead of BATCH.JOB
Iam using the below FM to send email.
Can anyone help in this issue.

Sorry for the delay. We can create a Outlook Inbox rule to achieve it. Please click Inbox > Rules > Manage Rules & Alerts > New Rule to create a rule with the following conditions and actions:
Please change “people or public group” to [email protected] and edit a specific template by clicking “a specific template” in the action part.

Google them to confirm the settings that you need for the outgoing server, then check the setting you entered on the pad. Pay real close attention to the outgoing server name, and port. You may need to change in on the pad.

The link for the word 'HERE' directs to a Evergreen School District page, which outside of Mobile Me and/or Aperture. Your school district network might be intercepting the request from Aperture and displaying the 'network authentication page' that you see, instead of the email. I would get with the IT department to see if they can help you get around this.
Have you also tried using the 'Tell a Friend' feature from another network location, like starbucks or your home?

How to get the list of batch jobs running in a specific application server

I am trying to check in SM37 if there is any specific condition to get the list of batch jobs assigned to a specific target server but cant find any.
Is there is way to find the list of batch jobs assigned to run in one specific application server.( Target server specified in SM36 while job creation)

Hello,
This is what you can do in SM37.
Execute the list of batch jobs, when the result appears on the screen edit the ALV grid via CTRL+F7.
Now add the following columns "TargetServ" and "Executing server".
You will now have two extra columns in your result list.
TargetServr contains the value of the application server where the job should run when you have explicitely filled it in.
Often this is empty, this means that at runtime SAP will determine itself on which application server the job will run (depending of course where the BGD processes are defined).
Executing server is filled in always for all executed jobs, this is the actual application server where the job has run.
You can also add these two fields in your initial selection screen of SM37 by using the "Extended job selection" button.

E72 - how to remove email addresses in the email c...

The E72's email client seems to gather its own list of email addresses. This is over and above what is in your phone address book.
Is there any way to clear out these? I have some which the email is no longer valid and its annoying (the company had a domain name change so first.last@ is the same but the @xxx.com has changed to @yyy.com and it sorts on alphabetical order of first.last and you have to be VERY careful not to accidentally send to the wrong invalid email address

In addition to using the Bcc header, you can create a Group in AddressBook, and put the name of the Group in the To header. Then if you have selected in Mail Preferences/Composing to not check the box beside When sending to a group, show all memberaddresses, then the To address will ready Undisclosed-recipients. Using the Bcc header requires one address in the To header that everyone will see, but that can be your own email address.

When clicking on name in address book -the email address appears different in the email address bar and can't be sent -why?

I have been using thunderbird for some years - in last month when I have been trying to send some emails I have a problem with some of them in that part of the email address has changed when I insert it ino the address bar and has inverted commas around the first part of the address before the @. I have tried deleting the addresses and re-inserting them but the same thing happens. If I go into the address bar and delete the commas the email is sent - can I overcome this problem without having to go into each email? I send out emails to many people and changing each one that has the problem takes a long time. Not every email address has this problem. Many thanks -Tim

ok, I've spent some time doing various scenarios.
I have managed to replicate one scenario which does as you say.
If my contact in the address book:
With name details as Peter Foo
email address: [email protected]
where there is an inserted space before the name peter, of course this is not instantly noticeable, but it is as if you hit the space bar just before typing the email address.
Then when I use the Contacts Sidebar in a Write message, it will add the email address like this:
Peter Foo <" peter"@somewhere.com>
which of course in invalid.
but in the address book, if highlight the contact, in the section below the email address in blue -if I click this to send an email the email address is printed exacly with the space and it will send as if nothing is wrong.
So i'm asking you to check those email addresses which insert incorrectly via the Contacts sidebar. They only do this for me if there is a hidden inserted space at the start of the email address.

Since I failed miserably to get gmail working via POP3 on my 6280 (apparently because this handset does not support SSL on POP3 (which gmail requires) only TCP/IP, although neither vodafone or nokia cust serv could tell me this), I have resorted to using the somewhat clunky workaround of forwarding my gmail to my email account given by my service provider (vodafone).
So, I have set this up to work through POP3 and it does (!). But when I reply to messages (that have been forwarded from gmail) the reply comes from the @vodafone.net address.
And now (ta-daaa) my question. There is a setting in the mial configurations on the 6280 called "Reply-to address". I was (probably optimistically) hoping that this would enable me to send messages with a different 'reply to' address than the vodafone account it is actually coming from.
Well, upshot is its not working, can anyone tell me what this setting is actually for? THe user guide is ambiguous fpor this field, simply stating "..the email address to which you want the replies to be sent".
(I knew I should have gone for the n70)

You don´t have to insert your e-mail adress in this field, if you don´t want to have the e-mail back to some other adress (that is the only purpose of this setting - just like in Outlook)

I'm trying to write lines in a file. Not all of my lines are not written into the file.
So I'm writing line by line into the file whcih its failed at say 350lines. after that its no more writing the data.
Please anybody let me know how i can write my data into a file (say 2GB) and send the same as an attachment in the mail.

How do i change the email address beside the email message box icon on the screen ?

Hi i just got my first Blackberry. Only had it for one week and i think i messed it up. My wife has one and i wanted to input her address book into mine without loseing my info. I hooked both Blackberry s to the computer and use the desktop manager to import the info. I used the tranfer to a new Blackberry device option and i thought all was well until i looked into my address book and saw all my contacts where gone. I don t care about that there wasn t many of them and i can easily replace them but what is bothering me is her email address appears on the screen when i scroll over the email message inbox and its on the top of the email page. I get my emails not her s so its just the header in need changed so if anyone could help it would be great.

if you can use the email option use the security questions
if you can not use that go to expresslane.apple.com -> go to itunes-> itunes store

Email in Batch Job

Hello All,
I need to set up a batch job and this would run daily. I can do this in SM36 and have done it.
But the question is I have couple of email ID's from the company I am working in and some email ID's for a different company.
The concern is when the JOB runs everyone has to receive a mail.
Please suggest.

How to restrict the number of batch jobs used by middleware?

Hi,
I'm using middleware to replicate data which send IDOCs from one system to another. I know on source system, I can use SMQS to restrict the number of connections. But on target system, can I use any tool to restrict number of batch jobs? Because every time when replicating data, all batch jobs are occupied.

It is likely that the BLOB content defined in your table is being stored 'Out-of-Line'. This means that the LOB columns are stored in segments of their own. These then are the segments that may need shrinking.

If you have a rescue email address set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address set up then go to Express Lane and select 'iTunes' from the list of 'products' in the middle of the screen.
Then select 'iTunes Store', and on the next screen select 'Account Management'
Next choose 'iTunes Store Account Questions' or 'iTunes Store account security' (it appears to vary by country) and fill in that you'd like your security questions/answers reset.
You should get an email reply within about 24 hours (and check your Spam folder as well as your Inbox).
