Make a call from the app
Hi guys,
I am trying to make a call from the app. There is a button labeled as phone number. When user clicks on that button, it should call to the phone number.
How do I do ?
Can suggest me simple code ? I don't know whether this is possible or not.

In iOS 7 you can still make calls from the locked screen. Just swipe the missed call numbers to the right. Is this a bug?
How is it a security breach? You're free to turn off lock screen notifications for the phone app so that no one can do that.... even if they can, they can only call the number that called you... nothing else. (well, except for 900 or whatever the emergency services number is where you are, but that's required by law).

My iphone 4 does not register calls made to it. if i make a call from another phone, i can hear it ringing, but it does not register on the iphone. also, i do not get any messages when this happens. then after a day or two it decides to start working.
Clean iPhone charging port with clean dry toothbrush. See if better. If still problem clean charging port again with toothbrush and small amount of Isopropyl Alcohol.

No, you do not need to re purchase Lion. You can re download Lion on all your authorized Macs using the same Apple ID.
How to re download apps from the Mac App Store:
Open the App Store. From the menu bar click Store > Sign In
Click Purchases from the top of the App Store window.
Select which apps you want to re download. Then right or control click where you see Installed then click Install. -

So where do you do when apps just seem to stop working, particularly when you paid for an app. I have now had then happen twice and there seems to be very little customer care from Apple when this occurs. I have downloaded OS X Mountain Lion from the App Store. It took two hours to download but now its not running and I have no idea how to make it run!
Download was complete and I accepted everything and restarted computer but its still running 10.7.5

What happens when you try to buy them, does the 'buy' button not work, do you get any error messages ... ?

I had the same problem on my brand new iMac and Apple Care solved it for me. Very simple.
1. Restart your computer
2. As soon as you hear the chime, press the SHIFT button until you see the Apple logo, then release it. This will put your computer into safe mode. When your computer boots up to the home screen in safe mode, Facetime will NOT work. That's normal.
3. After your computer finishes booting up to your home screen, restart it normally. That solved the problem for me.
Apple Care said that putting the computer into safe mode results in a diagnostics check that can fix certain problems. I hope this helps someone else.
