Make a sync agent in c#.

I'm making an application where it would be nice to have a sync option integrated with it. Does anyone ever tried to make synchronization in c#? Can anyone give me some clues?!

Iphone will sync with one and only one cpomptuer at a time. Syncing to another will erase the current content and replace with content from the new computer. This is the design of the iphone.
It will erase the content when you sync.
Why not update from the comptuer with which you normally sync?

I have three device: Macbook Pro (OSX 10.7.5) for work; an iPad and a Blackberry for mobile. I used mail, iCal, and Address Book combine with mobileme (iCloud) to exchange data such as contact, calendar and task from my Mackbook Pro to my iPad but never to Blackberry. The problem is my boss was asking me to change to Outlook 2011 for Mac because some of the email that I sent from Mail did not appear in my client's Blackberry. So how do you sync iCloud (contact, calendar, task) to Outlook 2011 for Mac? and how do you make seemless sync between iCloud to Outlook 2011 to Blackberry device or an iPad?

How do I delete a sync agent?

I am trying to clean up my Azure environment. I have a bunch of Sync Agents that are no longer being utilized, but each time I select one to attempt to delete, I get an error that states "The Sync Agent was not deleted",
without giving me any specifics.
Does anyone know how I can go about deleting Sync Agents that are no longer in use?

1. Local Agent cannot be deleted if its associated on-Premise database is unreachable
Description/Symptoms : If a local end point (database) that is registered with a local SQL Azure Data Sync
agent becomes unreachable, the local agent cannot be deleted.
Cause : The local agent cannot be deleted because the unreachable database is still
registered with the agent and when you try to delete the agent, the deletion
process tries to reach the database, which fails. This database cannot be
unregistered too, because during unregistration process, local agent tries to
connect to database which cannot be reachable.
Resolution/Workaround : Create a local database with the same name as the one that cannot be reached,
unregister this database from local agent, and then proceed to delete the agent.
2. Sync Group cannot be deleted within 3 minutes of uninstalling/stopping the agent Description/Symptoms
You are not able to delete a sync group with in 3 minutes of uninstalling/stopping the associated local SQL Azure Data Sync agent.
Resolution/Workaround : Remove a sync group with associated sync agents online (strongly recommended).
If agent is offline but installed, bring it online on the on-premise computer, wait for the status of the agent as online in Azure portal, and then remove the sync group.
If agent is offline because it was uninstalled, perform the following steps and try deleting the sync group.
-Remove agent XML file from the SQL Azure Data Sync installation folder if the file exists
-Install the agent on same/another on-premise machine, submit agent key from portal generated for the agent that’s showing offline
3. cannot delete my sync group
Description/Symptoms : You fail in your attempt to delete a sync group.
Cause/Fix : Any of the following can result in a failure to delete a sync group.
The agent is offline : Be sure that the agent is online then try again.
The Data Sync service is stopped :
* In the Start menu search on Services
* Click Services in the Programs section of the search results.
* Find the SQL Azure Data Sync Preview service.
* If the service status is Stopped right-click the service name and select Start from the dropdown menu.
A database is offline : Check your SQL Azure and SQL Server databases to be sure they are all online.
The sync group is provisioning or synchronizing : Wait until the provisioning or synchronizing process finishes then retry deleting the sync group.

Cisco Sync Agent Missing

Hello Experts,
I am configuring IM&P 10.5 and I need to enable essential services in IM&P Serviceability --> Tools --> Control Center - Feature Services but Cisco Sync Agent is missing. Is there something I need to do to get this activated? I don't see it in Service Activation either. I have attached the snips of the GUI.

Nevermind, I found it under Control Center - Network Services. Not sure why documentation states that it's in Feature Services.

PSE7 BACKUP/SYNC AGENT does not work.

Under the Preferences box , the Backup/Sync Agent does not open. I can't alter or change anything. When I sign in , my sign in and password are both accepted ,however where the Welcome is on top, it used to say Welcome, with my first name. It does not do this anymore. When I try to upload my pics to Photoshop.com it states I am not logged in. No one at Adobe has been able to help after 4 months .

If it were truly a backup, then the media would play on the laptop as it would be on the laptop.
Sounds like you actually do not have a backup, instead you chose to keep your media on an external drive.
Regardless of where the media is stored, it's always a good idea to have a backup for instances like this.

It looks like you have some non-English characters in database.
Please go to CUCM > System > Service Parameters > Database Layer Monitor > Advanced, change "Include Encoding Information in AXL Response"

I have already restarted local sync agent.i checked the sql data sync winodws service is running in local services .

Could you please check whether there are any error logs through the Event Viewer? Under the category "Applications and Service Logs" -> "SQL Data Sync".

All files modified by File Sync Agent

I'm looking for explanation for an interesting event. It seems that tonight's scheduled Net Folder sync "modified" all files on our Filr system. Needless to say, the files have not actually all been modified, but everybody who was subscribed to a folder received e-mail notification about all files having been modifiled by File Sync Agent. Also when I view details of any file in Filr web interface, the file shows as being last modified by File Sync Agent tonight.
Can this be because DST ended yesterday and Filr thinks that timestamps of all files have been changed?

Renaming on On Permise DB that is configured for Sync using Sync Agent

We have configured a Sync Agent to sync from on premise to Azure DB and the Sync is working fine. Can you let us know if it would impact the Sync if the on premise DB is renamed? Do we have to configure the Sync Agent again or do the Sync set up from

Yes if you rename your on-premises database, you need to re-setup the sync from the scratch. Is it necessary to rename the database? Or you can provide the scenario here and we will try to figure out some alternative solution without break the current sync.

Anyone can share on the network port and IP address requirement for the SQL Database sync?

1433 is between the Data Sync Agent and your SQL Server. 443 is bidirectional for Data Sync Agent to connect to Azure Data Sync Service.
the Data Sync Service itself do not connect to your on-premise SQL Server directly. Neither does the Data Sync Agent connect to the Azure SQL Database Correctly.
