Hi, is there a way to make the appearance of my email text (while composing) larger, without sending big text to my recipient?

Yes, but it will magnify all onscreen windows, including the Mail compose window too, which may still be acceptible to your goal of larger text without shouting at the recipient.
In System Preferences > Accessibility > Zoom, check Use keyboard shortcuts to zoom. Write the shortcuts down, and close the preferences window. Now, when in the Mail compose window, you can repeat the option+command+= sequence to enlarge the compose window, or option+command+8 to toggle the zoom effect off.
If you were to just use command and the + or - keys in Mail compose, these would increase the viewed font size for you and the recipient.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my app. This is my last major stumbling block that I have to resolve for this and other forms in the app.
Actually, I did use the Form Wizard for Auto DML to originally create the form. It was great. It created most of the Buttons, Items and Validations automatically (basically most of the page). I just needed to create some Processes and Computations. Two of which were the Processes to update the 'create_dt' and 'created_by' fields and 'update_dt' and 'updated_by' fields. The Create process updates the fields just fine.
However, my problem seems to be that the Hidden 'create_dt' and 'created_by' fields aren't picking up the values from a record that is being editted. Then when I attempt to save the record those fields are NULL, causing the DB NOT NULL constraint to throw an exception for those fields. In the back of my mind I seem to remember seeing some post stating something to the effect that the information in fields with a Source Type of Database Column is just displayed and does not affect Session State items.
Even with that, I am still wondering just why the 'created_by' Page Item shows the value that is in the DB record being updated, but the 'create_dt" does not (as can be seen in my first posting). It is the 'create_dt' Page Item (:P205_CREATE_DT) not having the DB records 'create_dt' info in it that appears to be the problem.

There doesn't appear to be a setting in TurboTax to make the font bigger.
But you can go to Applications/System Preferences/Displays/Display and pick Resolution:Scaled and experiment with different resolutions, which will make the fonts look bigger.
There are also zoom settings in System Preferences/Accessibility/Zoom.

In Addition to the advise of Nickna12, you can also increase the size of fonts when you are on a HiDPI screen (Windows)
This is done from Preferences > Experimental Features > Scale UI 200% for High Density Displays. Check this one,
Restart Photoshop, and you'll see the interface increased in Size.

Using contractions while composing email in Outlook causes characters/case to change and keyboard to lock

Since upgrading, entering contractions while composing or replying to email in either HTML or plain text results in unintended autocorrection where different characters in uppercase appear and the keyboard locks. My autocorrect instances are unchanged from what they were prior to the upgrade. This error is occurring with other users as there is an open question on Microsoft Answers as well. It does not occur when using other MS Office software. It would be great to find a solution, otherwise my emails are all going to be have to be more formal in tone!

How can we attach pdf or other files while composing either directly in Mail OR using safari in ipad2 ??

this doesnt work for me... u should be able to attach files with the "attach files" paper clip, but safari goes as far as opening up a window and choosing which attachment I want but then nothing happens, no attachment. I don't have this problem with Chrome, I never had this problem when I had the Snow Leopard OS, should never have changed from Snow Leopard, it was solid! Going off macs since Lion, Mountain Lion, too many glitches

If it was not sent, it is possible that you prevented it from being sent. However, if it made it to the Apple server before it tried sending as a SMS, it is very possible it still could be sent. In my opinion, I would say no.

While composing emails, either a new email or replying to a received email, multiple partial versions of the same email appear in trash folder. For a lengthy email, e.g. 2 pgs. I may have as many as 100 partial versions of that email appear in trash.

The Mac has 2 profiles. When composing an email in mail (gmail account), multiple versions of the same email appear in trash as you are composing the email. Does not appear to be any specific attributes which trigger this. When email is sent. The entire email appears in sent folder, while you still have multiple versions in trash. This same thing occurs if you create and save a draft email.
This only occurs on one of the two profiles. Both profiles are administrators. But this is the secondary profile.
We have compared all settings on the Mac for both profiles, gmail online, etc.
Anyone have any ideas?

Ick. So it can't just work sensibly? Sensible would be either autosave overwrites previously autosaved versions or all autosaved versions would be deleted when the message is finally sent. Allowing previous message versions to accumulate endlessly might be beneficial to someone, but does not seem like sensible default behavior.

Suggested contacts while composing email

Is there a way to hide or turn off the suggested contacts when you compose an email? I do not like that you can accidentally add a contact, this can create a problem.

How to make font larger in Pages?

I just got my first iPhone, the 4s. v 7.1.1. I'm familiar with Pages on the iMac…but Pages for the iPhone - I can see how to change text that's already been written, but how do you choose the font size before starting the document? In the document manager, I'm selecting "Blank", to start. Once I start typing, the font is big enough to read, but to just open and read the document would be impossible, it's that tiny.
Also, in Document Manager, the document titles are totally impossible to read, and I cannot find a way to change their fonts.
I'm probably (I hope), overlooking something really obvious, but I'd sure appreciate any help

I'd seen that, but thought it was about editing, because I had looked at the Apple page which describes the app, pointing out the great location of the format bar, right above the keyboard - which it isn't, on mine. So I thought I'd missed something.
Ok so apparently you have to enter some text, highlight it, make the change, then the text you enter following that will be the size you chose. I see on that page too that someone mentioned "save as" - I have no Save As, I have "Done" after I've edited as above, and when I'm back in my document, the only choice I can see is "Documents" to take me back to the Documents Manager page, where it's saved. There, I can "Edit" and "Rename" documents, but I can't find a way to increase the font size for the names, and they're unreadable.

Prevent emails without send as permissions being sent

Hello,
If I don't have send as permissions and I try to send as someone it sends the message and I get a NDR. Is it possible to stop the email being sent so that you don't get the NDR?
Once it is sent it's not in sent items so the original is lost. Any way to stop that happening?

i dont understand as to why we need to send an email from some one with out permission ... its obviious that we will get the NDR if we send it with out permission and that is how is designed to restrict such activity
I am not sure if there is any way to restrict in sending the mails and dont understand as to what you are achiving by doing this

Viewing email list while composing email

How do you view the email list to reference info in another email when you're composing a new email?

You can see a portion of the email preview pane when you use the iPad in landscape mode, but you can't scroll through them or see anything but a small portion of the preview anyway. You can't do what you want to do on an iPad in the mail app.

Recent contact suggestion while composing email not working

Previously when I used to type an address for email, the blackberry would
1) Show email suggestions in small boxes below the "to" field and I just had to click on them and they would be added to the email address "to" field
2) when I started typing an address, a scroll down window would suggest the full autocomplete address (even though the contact is not saved in my contact list, but it would pick from recently sent or received emails)
both options are no longer working. only autocomplete shows the email addresses saved in my contact list

Remove and re enter you email.
Also re start the phone between each step. So....
Remove email....restart
Enter email.... restart
The use email.
