Making a horizontal menu button stay in same state when I move cursor down to submenu buttons?

Hello! I realized as I was typing the subject of this post that it was near impossible to describe without being confusing. So I'm going to let some screenshots do most of the talking. **DISCLAIMER: Ignore all formatting besides the "Parks" button for now**
First picture, the cursor is not on the "Parks" button. Second picture, I have rolled over the "Parks" button, changing the color of it (to the "rollover" state color) and revealing the submenu buttons. Third picture, I have moved the cursor down to the submenu buttons, and the main "Parks" button goes back to that original color. How do I get it to stay in the other color when I am rolling over submenus? In other words, I want the "Parks" button to stay light blue when I rollover/click the other menu options.

I am playing an FLV on my main stage and was trying to use the generic operators defined in flash for the play / pause buttons:
mc_MyVideo.playButton = mc_Play;
mc_MyVideo.playButton = mc_Pause;
Then i tried to modify this code to swap the buttons between each other on stage:
mc_Play.onPress = function(){
            mc_Pause._x = 339.55;
            mc_Pause._y = 12.2;
            this._x = -100;
            this._y = -100;
mc_Pause.onPress = function(){
            mc_Play._x = 339.55;
            mc_Play._y = 12.2;
            this._x = -100;
            this._y = -100;
the buttons work fine controlling mc_MyVideo when both are shown in different locations on the stage and without any other code.... but the moment i try to assign another function to either of them they stop controlling mc_MyVideo.
the closest i came was with an attachMovie function... when i pressed mc_Play it would start the movie and attach "mc_Pause" at the same time... thats the farthest i got...

Same thing happened to me today. I wasn't even using the phone for the past 6 hours and suddenly I can't connect to the internet, none of my internet apps would work - nothing. I tried to call AT&T from the iphone and it locked up - couldn't turn it off, change to the home screen - nada - brick.
Did the Home/Power button thing and that worked but this I've only had this phone for about 4 weeks and it's locked up more times than my 3GS did the whole two years I had it! Ridiculous

My menu bar is the same as the old one, why? my home button is at the left instead of the right.

I downloaded 4.0 but my menu bar is the same. I still have "refresh", "home" button on the left instead of the right like the video shows. I do have the tab bar at the top but nothing else has changed.

You see the orange (on Linux gray) Firefox button if the Menu Bar is hidden (View > Toolbars > Customize or right-click a toolbar).

Making a video appear by clicking a button on that same state.

I have a state that I want to open which has an image background and buttons to the side. When a user clicks on one of the buttons I want the video to appear over the graphic. Is there a way to do this?
I also need to have different movies play in that same player based on which button the user clicks on in that state. Is that possible too?

Best way is to have a separate state that's a copy of the first, just with a video player. An alternative is to do something like set the opacity on a button click to take a video player from invisible to visible.
In terms of playing different videos, just have each button set the source property on the video player. On Click > Play Action Sequence > Set Property > Source.

Staying on same slide when opening a link in a new window (Captivate 4).

I have course where I have put several links on a single page. Two of the links are buttons linking to external web pages. That seems to be the only way I can make active links to other resources. I have them open in a separate window. There are also next slide and back buttons on each page. When I click on the link to open the other web page (in a separate window), the slide with the link automatically goes to the next page. I can't find any way to keep the page there when I click one of these other buttons that open a new window. Any help anyone can provide is really appreciated!!
This is in Captivate 4.

Hi there
Edit the button and look where you clicked to choose the New Window option. At the bottom is an option labeled "Continue playing project". DE-select that option.

Upon which device are you watching your movies and are you using a home theatre system for your audio.

When I upgraded to Firefox 4 my refresh button stayed the same. I thought there was supposed to be a new one?

Using Windows XP, just updated Firefox and the refresh button is still on the left hand side. I thought with Firefox 4 it was supposed to be within the address bar?

I just upgraded to 4 and there isn't any refresh or stop buttons anywhere!Not under the customize or anywhere.what happened I wonder?

Why do vector objects copied from illustrator cc don't stay the same dimensions when pasted into pho

I think the problem started with the last updates. The normal work flow of copy and paste no longer functions correctly.
Photshop is changing the dimensions of vector artwork copied from illustrator, and pasted to photoshop.
If I start with a 6in x 6in vector shape in illustrator, and select copy, I should be able to go into photoshop, select file and then new,
and the document should automaticly get the dimensions from the clipboard. For some reason that 6in x 6in opens a 0.6in x 0.6in document.
Even if i manually change the document to 6in x 6in, anything else I copy from illustrator larger than 6in x 6in gets its dimensions changed to fit inside the document. I cant copy and paste a 10in x 2in vector into the 6in x 6in document without photoshop changing the dimensions
so it fits inside the document. Any ideas on how to fix? Thanks.

illustrator has no dpi, that info wont copy to the clip board. There are setting within illustrator you can set so when you do raster something in illustrator, you can pick what dpi it will raster it to. But even if you raster something in illustrator, the dpi info doesn't copy to the clipboard.
The Photoshop: File, New, opens a window with the default set to pixels and 72ppi. When you have something stored on the clipboard, First you change the pixels to inches, cm, mm, anything but pixels, the dimensions stay locked in and Then you can change the ppi to anything you want.
The issue once the file is opened, and you try to copy and paste in something larger than the canvas still needs corrected. I have found a quick work around. After you paste it, before you select ok or hit enter, look at the info where it displays the % of the size of what's being placed.
It shows it at less than 100%, so change it to 100% (and constrain) and its back to original size.

Every time i lock my iPhone 5 the time stays the same for when i unlock it, any help?

I have an iPhone 5 and every time i lock it ( press the sleep button ) it will keep that time so when i next unlock it displays the time of when i locked it. example, i lock it a 7:10pm and half an hour later i will unlock it but it sill say its 7:10pm any help? so i then have to go into the date and time settings and flick the auto settings off and on again.

That article says the folder will be created inside the folder photos are synced from, so it sounds like you may be syncing photos on the desktop.
Try changing the Photo sync settings in iTunes, so that you are syncing photos from the a pictures folder.

Urgent help: How to remove the accumaltion when show movies step by step with buttons

I want to show the movie step by step by clicking the next
button. Inside each frame, many movie clips are generated
dynamically at runtime, and they can be played interactively.
I achieves the step-by-step display of those frames by adding
another layer with the action stop(). But I got one trouble: all
the movie clips from previous frames are accumalted. How to remove
the accumulation from previous frames?
For the continuous display of the movie, I tried to use
onEnterFrame() and change the _visible property of all the movie
clips to false in this function. But it doesn't work for the
step-by-step display. Once I click the next button, the movie clips
at the current frame just show very quickly, then disappear. What
should I do?
I need to fix this immediately.

I am unable to download BetterPrivacy from the Mozilla site. I click on the button, but nothing happens. When I move the cusor away from the button, the URL on the bottom LHS changes to "Done". I am running Firefox 3.6.12.

I have uninstalled firefox and downloaded it (using Internet explorer)
and re-installed it. Still unable to download BetterPrivacy.
Tried downloading BetterPrivacy using IE but although I reached the
web page, no download button was displayed.

2 spry horizontal menu bars on same site.

Is it possible to have 2 horizontal menu bars on the same site with different number if items? When I change one to fit the amount of space and words it effects the first one. I named one menu bar 1 and menu bar 2.

yes it is possible copy your menubarhor.css and make its name menubar 1.css after that enter your copied css and find all menubarhorizantal and add 1 end of them.
on your html page make your second menus class menubarhorz1 also add the other head /head codes for new menu

Horizontal Menu Bar works when index.html is appended to url, but not otherwise

My spry horizontal menu bar works like I want when I put /index.html at the end of the url for my website, but when I just go to the website without typing that in the index page shows up fine, but some of the links in the menu don't work. How is that possible if the index page is what shows up when you put in the usual www.domain.com?

I did not get two different pages when I went for your ...tennis.com address vs. your ...tennis.com/index.html address. Were you looking at the pages locally (preview in a browser) or looking at them on your website?
If your local site contains the files you want to have on the server, synchronize your files [entire local site] (on the files panel, the 'recycle' symbol) to see which files are different, remote from local. Then upload (being sure to include associated files).
The basic reason for a Spry menu bar not working is if the javascript and the menubar css file are not accessible or not linked to the page. The other reason would be if Javascript is turned off (but you said it worked with one file...) or if the javascript code at the bottom of the page is somehow either not there or broken:

Spry horizontal menu titles

Ok here is my problem. I am using the spry horizontal menu and am trying to make a list of drop down menus. Rather than having sub menus that have flyout child menus I just want to have a list of menus that have titles.
Basically What I want would be something like this
Header
Title
     Link
     Link
     Link
Title2
     Link
     Link
     Link
rather than:
Header
Title >   Link
            Link
            Link
Title2 > Link
            Link
            Link
However, I can't figure out how to make my titles just be plain titles, rather than links. As it stands, when I hover over my titles, spry can't differentiate them from the actual links that will go to different pages.
I don't really care if they are still links, I can work around that. I guess my question is, is there a way to change the CSS so that some of the submenus look different then others
(ex. titles don't change font or background color but the rest of them highlight in blue)
