does anyone know of a software, iphoto included, that I can use to have all twelve months on one page with perhaps a nice photo enclosed?
lastly, anyone know of a software to make calendars that fit inside CD jewel case covers?

iPhoto is much less simpler and less flexible than Aperture
In books sometimes the order you place the photos makes a difference in how the layout adjusts to them - sometimes it does not - but in general the layout is the layout

I have several event calendars on a webpage that are broken down by categories (IE: {module_calendar,48,c,94584} ). When I do this only the first calendar on the page will change dates. The other calendars won't change the date.
Is there a way to fix this? Is this intended behavior or a bug?
Note: I would provide the page but it is within a secure zone that charges a membership thus I cannot post access to it publicly.

Making two more mysql_query on one page

I wrote a function that will return an xml string from a
record set from mysql, then feed it into another function that
transform it with an xsl file to html. The function works great for
one query to the database per a page.
Problem: The first query is use to fill in form values, and
the second query is to return a list of products. The second query
returns a invalid $dbresult.
Question: I suspect I need to set $dbresult to nothing and
close the connection before making the second call. Is this correct
thinking? If so how? If not and suggestions?

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to show webpart from subsite on parent site in same site collection.
I recommend to create a Soap Services Data Source using the lists.asmx web service, and use a data view web part to display the data source.
You can refer to this blog to create soap services data source,
although it is about the SharePoint 2010, it still works for SharePoint 2013.

In addition, you can use content query web part ,where you can display list from the sub-site and add the columns as per the requirement.

Printing mid-month to mid-month on one page?

Is it possible to print a calendar on one page that runs from the middle of one month through the middle of another (eg. March 14 - April 17? I know I could do screen grabs and join them in photoshop, but I was hoping for something more elegant (and less time-consuming). Thanks!

I want to put 7 photos in one page in the photo-calendar

I choose the photo calendar "formal" lay out and I can't do it, however in the "Travel" lay out you can do it. How can I mix both lay outs?

You can't. Send a feature request to Apple via http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphoto.html.
What you can do is join two or more photos together using a 3rd party image editor and add that to one of the frames in the calendar page. If you have Pages you can join photos together, save as an image file and the use that.

Moving only ONE page at a time in a photobook?

I can't seem to find a way to only move one page at a time when trying to change the order of my pages. Does iPhoto allow you to move just one page, or do you HAVE to move two facing pages together? I'm hoping I'm missing something obvious here!

Change the view option (in the bottom toolbar of the window) to one page and you'll be able to drag just one page at a time.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

Can't print a one page month view using ical 3.0.1

I can't seem to print a page view of a month using ical 3.0.1- the newest with Leopard. When you go to the print window, view only gives me day or list as a choice. There isn't a monthly option like in the support quides for ical 2.0. Has anyone had any luck printing a month on one page since upgrading to leopard?

I don't think you can do that in a direct way, although you could create a calendar, and move the event you want printed to that calendar, then go to print, select list and then only select that calendar and you will only print that event you wanted to print.

Why can't I paste more than one page at a time?

I have a problem with Pages when I try to paste more than one page worth of content at one time.
In my business I have a form online for clients to fill out. When the clients have finished the form, I copy the form (saved either as a safari document or as a pdf) and then try to paste what I have into Pages. It should flow to fill out four pages, but for some odd reason it only fill the first page of a Pages document, then it gives me a second blank (empty) page. So the document is two pages long, but only the first page has content.
I know the pasted information is hidden in the document, because if I were to cut (erase) a few lines of content, the pasted information would appear from the bottom of the page to fill the space I just made.
Why is Pages not making a four page document containing all my pasted information? Why isn't it flowing to fill out as many pages as it takes to show all the information?

How can I create a pdf that displays three pages in a one page pdf?

I wasn't sure where to post this question since it involves different products, but maybe someone here has a solution...
I design three-panel product displays and it sure would be nice if I could present them in a pdf (I use Acrobat Pro 9) that shows all three panels side-by-side in a single page. I've been using ID CS4 for the individual panel layouts for the vendor then making a pdf for client review, with each panel on a separate page, however more than one client has requested a three-up electronic presentation. I could create all three as one page in ID then export to pdf, yet that seems kind of redundant and I'm trying to streamline this process as much as possible. Any ideas?

I do that a lot. It's the easiest way that I know of. Just create a new page that will fit all threee panels, use File>Place to place the panels, export as a PDF.

How to delete just one page in Pages 4.3

Hello I am having an issue with trying to delete just one page out of the 47 pages that I have created.
If I try to delete page 12 it will delete 12-47 instead of just page 12.
I also cant seem to move or adjust the yellow box in thumnails in order to select just one page. It has them all selected.
Another issue is when i try to delete a large text box, which i created to make a frame on my page. It will also delete all the pages after it. So its making it very difficut to make any changes.
I have searched through many forums and havent had any luck by using their methods.

Forget about the page thumbnails.
Let's say that page 12 is in the middle of a section and you want to delete it.
On page 12, in the actual document, not the thumbnails, click somewhere in the first line of text so that the cursor appears. Use the left arrow key to move the cursor until it is just before the first letter on the line. Now, from the Insert menu, insert a Section Break (not a section).
On page 13, do the same thing; i.e. insert a Section Break before the first character.
Now you can go to the thumbnails, click on the Page 12 thumbnail and it will be a section all by itself. Click the Delete key.
(I am sort of assuming that there are no invisible characters before the first one that you see, but if there are, you obviously have to get before them too.)

I have a work computer, a home desktop, and Apple air laptop and an 1phone 4s.
I use Outlook calendar for all my appointments and only need one calendar.

Your old account is the one you migrated, but it has been renamed because the new account had the same name. "Fixing" this is a bit complicated. It is possible to transfer data from one account to the other. See Transferring files from one User Account to another.
A cleaner solution is to do this:
Create a temporary new admin user account with a completely different username.
Log into this new account.
Delete the new account you created before migrating.
Delete the old account you migrated that has the changed name.
Re-migrate your old account from the Mini.
Log into the newly migrated account and delete the temporary account.
And, the simplest solution is to use the migrated account as-is and delete the account you originally made on the new computer.

How can you have two link styles on one page?

I have one style (formatted link style) for internal links in
my footer but I want a different style for the external links in my
mainContent. Is it possible to have two different "styles" of links
on one page? I tried creating a new set for the mainContent links
and being positioned underneath my footer link's styles, the "new"
mainContent link styles overrode the footer link style. Is there
another way of going about this?

When someone searches for my site in google, sometimes only one page of my site comes up. If they click it, they may only get my menubar, or a page, such as my calendar page without a menubar or topbar. How can I make it so when they click the link my entire site comes up. even if the search they did just lists one of my pages? Help... Thanks
