Making Flash Movie Run Full Page

I just finished my first ever flash presentation for use on
pc. But I'm at a loss on how to make it go full screen
automatically when it is started. Any help would be fully
apprecfiated.

Script making Flash 9 running slow Error

Hey guys i have a site that manage uploads for our content
providers, but when you run the flash movie and you start uploading
a file, somewhere is the middle of the upload, a message pops
saying that a script in the movie is making the flash player to run
slow, and thta you computer may turn unresponive, after googling
for this error i find out that my script may have a infinitive loop
or function, i've been tryint to find the error on my scrip but
with no luck, here is the code, if anyone have a chance to take a

How to put a Flash movie on IWeb pages

I am trying to find out how I can put flash movies on a website designed in IWeb. The .mov files are large and therefore load very slowly (and are also able to be downloaded by anyone with QT Pro I think).
Does anyone know how to put flash videos (and what format they are supposed to be in - that SWV or FLV) on IWeb? I think I have to put a flash player on the page (or site, whatever) as well.
Apple Care can't help me - and when I went for a One-on-One at the Apple Store it was a complete waste of time (I have to drive an hour just to get there).
I have found a few programs on the internet that I can buy to convert my videos to Flash (without having to spend a fortune on Adobe Flash).
Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

All are residing in the folder with the reference movie and were not renamed. I noticed in the instructions there is a comment of including the <style> and <script> tags in the <head> of the page so that it validates as XHTML. I copied and pasted the <script> code, but I am not using any <style> tags. I wondered if that is contributing to the issue. Thanks again for the help.

Flash Movie runs Choppy

Hi, hopefully someone has some ideas on how to better pull off what I am trying to do. I have a movie clip that animates a background. I am trying for an effect of the background getting larger, as if someone were zooming through some clouds and getting closer to the earth. The clouds get larger, fade away, and the earth comes in to view, also getting larger, fades to some ground that is getting larger as well, until the viewer stops atop a hill. The movies dimensions are 900 px wide x 750 px high. I've made the background graphic much larger than the document size, so when the image gets bigger, its edges flow out of view. For instance, The cloud image starts out far away, then I have a classic tween of it getting bigger, fading its alpha channel away, with the next image of the planet ground under it coming into view, also tweening in to a much larger image and fading out, etc. The problem is that between each image fade to the next one, the movie wants to stall briefly, making for a rather choppy, rather than smooth, transition from each image. Any idea why this is happening and how I can make it play smoothly through the transitions? You can see the file run here: http://www.millenniumdesign.us/index2.html. Thanks. Except for the planet shot, I don't really get a sense that things are zooming in... seems more like they are just changing from one to the next. You might try slowing it down first to work on the getting visual effect working, then speed it up if you really need it working that fast.

millisecond, when I run this on a iMac (2.8GHz) the Timer doenst
run at 1 millisecond looks like run at 1 sec, but when I publish
the same .fla on a PC, it runs very fast.

Tecra A10-S3501 Power Light Flashes, Fan Runs Full Speed.

Greets all,
I have a customers Tecra in the shop, and after getting a good description of what was happening at the tme of failure, I still cannot seem to figure it out. She was watching a flash video when it froze. Upon reboot, it will not init the LCD, it does seem to at least partially POST, cd drive spins up, and all LCDs blink like normal. Still no LCD init, and the power light blinks green, no pattern, it is not a binary post led code. Fan spins up directly to full speed and stays there for the duration. I counted 20 one second blinks with fan at full speed, before powering down. Any ideas? Customer has no warranty, so would be nice to fix it for her. :-) Thank you, and have a great day.

Hey,
Can you see a picture on external monitor? If yes it might be only a FL inverter issue of internal display. This is not an expensive part so this would be easy to fix the problem.
Anyway, if you cant see a picture on external monitor, I think its related to another part, maybe mainboard or something else. This should be checked from an authorized service provider
By the way: If you have connected an external monitor, use FN+F5 key combination to switch between them

Page won't display flash movie

Need to click on first FLASH movie to reactivate after second window

Hi there...
I am hoping there is a simple code-solution out there to work around the following problem:
I am building a mainly flash-base website that also incorporates a couple of pages of straight XHTML for some of the content. If I navigate from my main FLASH movie, the HTML pages open on click via the main menu (in their own window, "_blank"). When I close that XHTML-page to go back to the previous (FLASH, embedded with swfObject) page, I need to click on that original page once to re-activate the FLASH content (i.e. make the rollovers visible, make the menu work, etc)...Is there any way to avoid that extra click, and to have the original page remain "active"?
I hope this makes sense - I wasn't sure how else to describe the issue.

How can I scroll one full page at a time using the mouse wheel?

I've had this problem for 3 years now. When I nudge my scroll wheel (IntelliMouse Optical) one notch forward or back, Safari moves 1/4 of a page up or down. How can I get one nudge of the scroll wheel to move one full page up or down? Firefox has an add-on, SmoothWheel, that can be set to a full page. Are there any options for doing this in Safari, without having to go to the keyboard? I tried Smart Wheel, no setting for that.
Any ideas? thanks
p.s. Please don't tell me to get another mouse, I've tried dozens of them and the old IntelliMouse Optical is the best one for me. (I'm also stuck on an ancient Apple M2980 keyboard. I love those old keyboards.)

I can't use the keyboard to scroll. I need to keep my hand on the mouse, otherwise I'd never get anything done. Since I have no problem getting Firefox to scroll one page at a time, and I'm constantly jumping between 3 browsers, it would be nice to be able to scroll a full page at a time in Safari, just like I can in Firefox. Flash Player in web page hosted on Windows Azure

First, I admit I am a Flash noob. That said, I have an ASP.NET web page (ASPX) hosting a flash movie, and the page works perfectly on my development box but does NOT work when hosted on a Windows Azure web role. The initial image (PNG) displays, and the triangular "play" button is there, but when you click it the player rectangle goes all black.
I have verified that the files are in place. All the naming is correct. As mentioned, it DOES work locally.
This is an SWF file that loads an MP4 file and there's some xxx_config.xml file that provides subtitles to the narration in the video. I did not make the movie, but it was made in Camtasia Studio 7. It generated the core html object tags that I copied, and all the supporting files. As far as I can determine, the SWF file is failing to load the MP4 file.
In theory, this should NOT be a cross-domain issue as all the files are in the same folder of the same web site. I have tried adding a crossdomain.xml for good measure, but that had no effect. I also made sure to try using one single web server instance in Azure in case the load balancing between instances was causing the problem, but that had no effect.
I have a support call in to Microsoft, but of course they say they do not support Flash and I imagine Adobe will say they don't support Azure.
Anyone aware of any Azure-specific gotchas?
PS I am testing in the same IE9 browser from my local machine so browser settings are identical from the case that works.

I fixed it myself. It turned out to be an Azure issue, not a Flash issue. By default when an Azure web role instance is created (think VM), the IIS server is not configured with a MIME type for MP4 files. You have to add it to your project's web.config file if you're going to use that type of file.
IIS doesn't like to serve up file types that it doesn't know about.

Two flash movies index problem while in different div

i have created a page and i use peelawayad file which is in
flash. i was already using two div on home page which contains
flash movies. but now when i placed peelawayad flash movie on home
page. it appears on bottom of both div layers. i tired my best with
stylesheet. z-index and many other tricks which i know best. but
still not able to sucess. can someone help me to getride of this

Actually the problem is -
For portrait dimensions are -
width 20
height 30
for landscape , obviously it will be
width - 30
height - 20
Thus , for second page - table width is 20 while page width is 30 and so 10 cm space remains blank on right side of page
user says that right side should not be blank, rather you extend table width to whole page width.
thats where the problem is

If I click through the error messages, I finally get the
movie on the page and it seems to display okay in IE6 ahd FX.
I don't get the error when I load a Flash movie if I use DW
8.
Do I need to reload DWCS3? Or is there a fix that I can
download. It seems to be a problem with DWCS3.

IE7 & Flash Movie not displaying FF works fine

Hi,
I have an issue with IE7 and my Flash video movies. When I
use IE7 (7.0.5730.13) the 6 videos (flash movies) on the page do
not display all 6 BUT in FF they all display and my navigation menu
works fine. The video boxes/placeholders change when I refresh the
page in IE7, but again, not all 6 show like in FF and the menus
won't work properly.
Any help! Please use common/dummy talk so I can fix it. The

The movies are MASSIVE. I Think you are just not waiting long
enough. It
took >15 minutes for FF to show all of the video frames.
