Making Pop up window border solid in NW04s

Hi ,
i created a pop window using the following code:
     IWDWindowInfo myWinInfo =
     wdComponentAPI.getComponentInfo().findInWindows("ABCWindow");
     IWDWindow myPopupWindow =
     wdComponentAPI.getWindowManager().createWindow(myWinInfo, true);
     myPopupWindow.setWindowPosition(350, 80);
     myPopupWindow.setWindowSize(350, 400);
     myPopupWindow.setTitle(dialogTitle);
     myPopupWindow.open();
The opened pop up window shows a dotted border .
Is there any way we can make window border solid instead of dotted?

Hi,
When ever you create the popup, store the window reference globally.
Use the method - SET_BUTTON_ENABLED of if_wd_window based on the input field values.
Use the GET_ATTRIBUTE for that input field get the value into lv_value,
if lv_value eq initial.

Making a pop-up window

Hi There,
In iWeb I would like to create a pop-up window effect so for e.g. if someone clicked on a thumbnail, a pop-up would appear showing a big preview of the pic.
Is this possible in iWeb at all?

I've been wondering the same, but haven't found a trick that will work yet. Then there's a question about whether it would work or not if somebody had a pop-up blocker.

IWeb Quicktime Pop Up Window

I am making a site with videos of my work. I want to have one page where I list the titles of the videos. Then, I want the user to click on a title and have the video pop-up in a separate window. I want to be able to control the pop up window size so that it is exactly the same size as the quicktime video.
I have somewhat accomplished this using a HTML code I found online and an HTML Snippet in iWeb. What I don't like, however, is that the HTML Snippet text (the video titles) fade in for some reason. I had this same "fade in" problem with button rollovers using HTML Snippets.
If possible, I'd like to do the same thing that Apple does on their trailer page, where the video opens in the center, without any border, and the rest of the page gets dim.

AirPort recognized but no pop-up window for remote speakers in iTunes

I have connected an Airport Express to an existing wireless network of multiple windows (2000 and XP) computers via a Linksys router. The base station is properly recognized (solid green LED, unit correctly identified in admin utility, and I was able to update the firmware to v.6.3 wirelessly) and I have it configured as a wireless client. I want to use it solely to stream music from iTunes to a remote stereo. When I open iTunes, there is no pop-up window offering an option to enable remote speakers. When I installed the airport software, it tried to install iTunes, but the installation aborted because I have a more current version. Is there some software on the disk that needs to be added to iTunes? What is AirTunes? Is this actual software that needs to be installed to stream iTunes to a remote location? Does it refer to the airport firmware? Is it just a "cute" name for the airport hardware (Apple marketing hype)? Thanks for any help.

Rj in WI is correct. I just started using iTunes about a month ago after my wife got an IPod. It took me about an hour of frustration and reading the instruction before I saw in the bottom right of the window "my computer". You click on that and then you can change it to the Airport network. Unfortunately It appears you can only send to only one place. I have two Aiport Expresses and I can only send it to one of the Express devices, or the computer, but not to two or all three places at one time.

A pop-up window says I have mutiple tabs but I can't switch between them

Was making payment in popup window. Asked to print confirmation and pop-up window went blank (did not print). Cannot recover payment confirmation screen. When I try to close the pop-up window it says there are several tabs. How do I switch between tabs in the pop-up window? There are no menus nor drop-downs.

Allowed Pop Up Windows are Blank

i've only recently encountered this problem in the past month. the sites i know are affected are fanfiction.net and scribophile.com.
fanfiction.net is using a javascript;; for editing a link in one's profile.
scribophile.com is using a php to send a private message: http://www.scribophile.com/dashboard/popups/addprivatemessage.php?userid=17380
in both instances, a new-fangled looking white window pops up. (the fanfiction.net one even resizes itself and has a fancy top border). they are blank, utterly without content. they have a close X in the top corner that does close them. the php one is even blank when i choose to open it in a new tab like a regular page.
i have adblock plus and noscript. although i have tried turning them off for these particular web sites, the pop up windows still come out blank.
i have tried these solutions:
1: disable adblock plus and tell noscript to allow everything on the page(s). this does not work.
2: run firefox in safe mode. the popup windows then DO work.
3: i have gone to the firefox options and created exceptions to pop-up blocking for both sites. no joy.
4: i have gone into the add-on manager and disabled both adblock plus and noscript (but not other add-ons). no joy.
5: i have, one at a time, disabled every other add-on i have. no joy.
it appears to me that it is not actually the add-ons that are causing this behavior. although the windows work in firefox in safe mode, the same cannot be said of manually turning off the add-ons in "unsafe" mode.
is anything else going on in firefox that might be causing this behavior? i don't think it's the pop-up blocker, since the pop-ups DO appear... but no content inside. ugh.

How to show details from web part as pop up window

I designed few web pages in SharePoint Designer 2010 and trying to customize it. I have a XSLTListView web part that is displaying filtered data from the external SQL database. When user choses the item from this list, I need it to show in the new pop
up window. I can't seem to find the way to do it. Saw multiple references to use SP.UI.ModalDialog.ShowPopupDialog(url), but I don't know how and where to incorporate it, since there is no place in the page where it actually specifies that url
of the page that I need to show as pop up.
Below there is a code for the XsltListWebPart, where I'm hoping I could make changes to make it pop up (it seems that this is the part that is calling the display details form). The form that I'd like to pop up is DispForm.aspx

How to create a pop up window with text information?

Hi experts,
I am a newbie in LC and I have created a form to be sent to the vendors by our buyers. Everything seems fine except the Accounting Manager would like to include our Financial Details in the form. I would like to simply create a pop up window with the information which will be activated by pressing a button. I have tried to create an invisible button and a visible button to achieve this but didn't succeed.
p.s. I have no javascript background but slowly learning. I would appreciate if anyone can assist me to complete the task.

Thanks for replying. What I need to accomplish is to have another page of information with all the financial details on the pop up window and the vendor has a choice to print it out or not. After the form is filled out, it is to be sent back to our buyers. So instead of me inserting a 2nd page with the information, I would like to hide it unless someone presses a button to show it.
I have found something like making 2 buttons, one is invisible with all the information on it and the other one "visible" to activate the invisble button. Didn't work at all.
Also another question is after the vendor insert the digital signature, it automatically asked to save (which I found out why from help) and then it opens up the email and sends the form as XML. I will need it to send as PDF, possible??

Pop Up Window - Dynamic Page - Need Best Solution

I'd like to create a pop-up window for my site. I've used behaviors in the past. I'm not sure if that's the best way now. Basiclly I have a photo gallery with thumbnails. Once you click the thumbnail I want a larger window to open with the image. I've seen the javascript windows used that use CSS lightbox, however I can't get it to work with my site. I guess I should mention I'm using:

Unit is set for repeating regions

How to create an Interactive pop out window in inDesign CS 5?

Happy New Year everyone.
How do I create an interactive pop-out window in inDesign CS5? I want to have a filled content frame which has image, text and a border. when the user clicks on that frame, a pop-out window frame appears slightly over the previous frame in with a drop shadow fx. Then when the user clicks the pop-out window, it closes and the original content frame appears. Attached is a screenshot for reference.

For what end product? HTML? SWF? PDF? Offset print? (I don't think so, but I might as well ask.)

Accessing iTunes Store - Pop up window

Does anyone know how to fix this annoying pop up window ''Accessing iTunes Store'' that appears every time I open iTunes or access the iTunes Store? Or anyone out there with same problem?
Every time I type a letter in the iTunes store search box, the progress bar appears! Grrr
The Cinematic Orchestra is off the cards at the moment - Maybe some U2 instead.
The problem first began when I installed iTunes 10.2. All previous versions where fine - no problems. I thought this most recent 10.2.1 update was issued to maybe fix this frustrating glitch. No such luck.
I have tried reinstalling, clearing my caches and making sure the Safari 'Block Pop Up Windows' option is activated.

I've fixed mine! From a little help from an apple adviser.
You might want to clear your caches before doing this - under iTunes preferences.
Open iTunes - go to the top bar, click the 'Store' drop down menu >
Then click 'De-authorise this Computer' >
Enter your password etc >
Then click 'Store' again then click 'Re-authorise this Computer'>
Enter password etc>
Restart the Mac>
Open up iTunes should be fine - worked for me anyway

Mavericks Safari and Pop Up windows

Since upgrading to Mavericks, and the related latest version of Safari, block pop up windows does not always work. It may work sometimes, but regularly with some websites I get windows popping up to the front. Block pop up windows is checked. I've tried cycling it, quiting, restarting all the usual. It looks to me that either this feature in Mavericks is not working right or some websites have figured out a workaround. An example of a website that rules safari is adsupplyads.com. I've removed the cookie but it just comes back whenever I visit some websites.

I haven't investigated the issue, but I have seen that some websites use a javascript that "covers" the entire webpage when it opens. When you click anywhere on the website, the JS opens a new window with an ad.
The only thing I've found to stop those is AdBlock, as William Lloyd pointed out.
I used to just use JavaScript Blacklist to block the Ads that jiggle, make noise, or flash. I don't mind a website making some money to pay for itself, but if the ads are annoying or get in the way, I'd block them. Now, I have to block them all.

Preloader Image Script and Pop-Up Window Behavior

writing code so in the development of this site for my client, I

so does my client.
However, I now have a problem with the pop-up window behavior
for the triptych image on the originals.htm page. When you hit the
triptych pop-up behavior, the preloader stops working on the main
page and (#) stays in the address bar even when you've closed the
pop-up window for the triptypch image. Next, I tried just making
the word triptych a standard link to a new htm page and using the
back button on the browser and STILL, the preloader will not work
properly..? Any ideas..?

Question with pop up windows

hi there, i have a page with a few quiz quesitons on it and i
have a link to open up a pop-up box with the answer. however, in
order to use the behaviors panel to make the link, i had to put a
"#" sign into the text of the link. the problem is that i think
this is making the page jump to the very top when the link is
clicked. you can see the page here:

is there another way that i can get the pop-up window to open
as it does yet not have the originating page jump to the top? any
advice would be appreciated.

That will work, but, having said that, in my opinion opening
a popup
window to see the answer is more than a little ponderous.
Take a look
