MANAGE EMPLOYEE DATA in SRM 7
Hi all,
We are on SRm 7.1.
Can anyone tell me the Transaction/WEb dynpro application for "MANAGE EMPOYEE DATA(SRM 5 trasnaction) now in SRm 7??/
Under which role can I see this MANAGE EMPLOYEE DATA transaction??
I need to change the POSITION email address for some users and hence wanted to know the WEB DYNPRO application name for this SRM 5 trasnaction in SRM 7.

Hello,
This option is available under SRM Administration portal tab.
In order to see it, user should be assianged to portal role com.sap.pct.srm.core.ro_srmadministrator and SAP_GUI role /SAPSRM/ADMINISTRATOR.
Here you can manage employee, supplier, business partner and address data.

I am trying to create a user for my organization using one documentation available with me in SRM from web browser.
It says that we have to select "Manage Business Data" in the launch pad, but my problem is that,This option is not available in the web browser when i login.

Is there any std program which can be used to update the data for employee as it is done manually in transaction "Manage Employee data"??

We are customizing SRM 3.0 EBP 4.0 with SAPKU40005.

I've created the ADMIN user in the SU01 transaction. When logon in mySRM browser with this or any administrator user and try to 'manage user data' i get this error.
I've looked in the '(...)inetpub\wwwroot\sap' directory and didn't found any 'bc/bsp/...' directory.
Can someone please give me an hint ....

the BSP Framework you are now in has nothing to do with the ITS stuff like inetpub or wwwroot.
Get the docu for Web AS 6.20 and have a look into transaction SICF. There you can activate your application: follow the path sap/bc/bsp/bbpusermaint, right mouse click on the "node" and say activate.
This maybe solves your problem. But read a little bit of the doco on Internet Communication Framework (TX SICF) first.

E-Recruiting - Hiring Manager field data is changing to 00000000 in job requisition

I am facing an issue with hiring manager search.
Am on a EREC standalone system. EHP5, SP0007.
HCM_ERC_CI_2 & 3 business functions are activated.
NB data is available in 5131 for US of hiring managers, 5152 support group also has hiring manager data is available.
1. Firstly, as a recruiter when I click on "Create by Position", after selecting the vacant position thro org.unit based search, the hiring manager field is not populated with any employee no. If am trying to search using Find Manager or Find employee option, no output is given.
So I manually give the Manager employee number, then hiring manager field is getting filled. After saving the requisition, when I come back and see the requisition in "All Requisition" query or "Open Requisition query" in the Manager column it is blank.
2. When I try to open the same requisition to edit, the Hiring Manager field is having value "00000000". Even after again manually giving the manager employee number and saving it and releasing it, if again we try to display/edit the requisition, the number vanishes and only zeros appear.
Please share your inputs on the possible cause for this problem.

How to set Authorisation to view and maintain employee data.

(This is what we had done....)
Check the composite role : SAP_EMPLOYEE_ERP
Create a Z role for SAP_EMPLOYEE_ERP;
Will prompt you to copy the corresponding roles in it to z roles.
The z-composite role is then assigned to the user.
While creating an ESS user, to to restrict access to personnel master data, changes in the authorization P_ORGIN needs to be done.
In our case, check the z-role created ; zSAP_ESSUSER_ERP.
In Authorizations tab=>Display authorization data option => ;
Expand Human Resources;
In HR : Master data, you can find the various authorization assignments to P_ORIGIN;
Authorization level (AUTHC)
Infotype (INFTY)
Personnel Area (PERSA)
Employee Group (PERSG)
Employee Subgroup (PERSK)
Subtype (SUBTY)
Organizational Key (VDSK1)
Authorization level (AUTHC) takes the values :
R (Read) : for Read access
M (Matchcode) : for Read access to Input helps (F4)
W (Write) : for Write access
S (Symmetric) : for Write access using the Symmetric Double Verification Principle
* : always includes all other authorization levels simultaneously
E and D (Enqueue and Dequeue) :
for Write access using the Asymmetrical Double Verification Principle. E allows the user to create and change locked data records and D allows the user to change lock indicators.
In your case probably you need to consider for :
Employee Group (PERSG) / Employee Subgroup (PERSK)
the Authorization level set to R for the defined infotypes.
This is again, Basis work....

Hi Guys,
I am using SAP identity management 7.1 and ERP ECC 6.0 EHP4. I amanage to pull data from HCM into identity store and create an account in active directory.
I am now trying to update employee data in the SAP ERP HCM system with the email address using Business Add-In (BAdI) Implementation BADI_IDM_HR_COMMUNICATION of BAdI definition BADI_EXTEND_IDENTITY.
I do not know how to call the BADI from SAP identity management.
Can you please help as i need this to finish the user provisioning ?

Trusted recon populating manager ID based on manager employee number

I am doing a trusted recon using GTC connector against HR database. The matching key is the employee number. In the HR data I don't have the manager ID instead, I have manager employee number. During the account creation process, I would like to fetch the manager account ID and populate it. I also have to do the same during the update process as well (if the manager changes, I need to do an update).
Please let me know how can I accomplish this?

- Create a UDF Manager Employee Number in OIM UDF.
- map your HR field with this UDF, so after reconciliation is completed this UDF has the value of Manager Employee Number
- Write a Task Scheduler which does the following:
a) Read all the OIM users for the UDF=Manager Employee Number
b) On the basis of this UDF it extracts the USR_KEY for the manager
c) Update the users one by one using OIM API'S for the manager information extracted.
That's the standard practice for linking User-to-Manager.
For Updates:
- Attach a process task like Change User Manager Employee Number to the Xellerate User process.
- Take the new value of the UDF and again do the same steps as told above to update the use for its new manager.
- Do this in an adapter task with java code.
- Attach this adapter to the process task of first step.

the user access the forms from ess screen after he logs on into portal.

UAR-Need additional Employee data for review
We are just starting work on trying to implement UAR to replace our current manual User Review process. In our current process, access is reviewed by the Role Owners (BDOs), and they are given a spreadsheet containing the roles and users. This spreadsheet contains a lot of information about the users (department, job title, location, etc.) that the BDOs need to be able to perform the review.
I've seem some sample screen shots of the UAR request and the only user information they seem to contain is the userid and user name. This is inadequate for our reviewers. We are a large company, so there is no way a BDO is going to know who everyone is and whether their access is appropriate based on just their id and name. They are going to have to have additional employee data.
1. Can additional fields be added to the UAR request?
2. Does the userid maybe work similar to role name (you can click on the role name in a request and see the role information)?
3. If neither 1 or 2 are options, how do most companies handle providing additonal employee data to the review?
4. Do most companies have the Manager or the Role Owner as the reviewer?

I do not think so that u can add additional fields for UAR request. As UAR requests are generated with help of background job.
Data in the request are pulled from ERM application.
Also in UAR request first & last name of user is also shown apart from user id.

Re : MSS Portal role for Non Employee to View/Edit all Employees data
Hi All,
Is there a role I can assign so that a manager who log into portal, can view all the employees and just not the directly reporting employee.
This user is outside the SAP and should be able to see and modify all employees data in the entire company under diffrent org units
Any hints on doiing this would be appreciated
I understand if I assign MSS Manager role to a manager he can just view all the employess who report to him and not all the employees.

it's just a question of customizing in the HCM Backend. In the portal you can use the standard MSS role coming with the Business Package (or a changed copy). But, the person in question here has to have a user in the backend and an according position in the organizational structure.

I am using BAPI_BUPA_CREATE_FROM_DATA as a Function Module in a program to create Business Partners by reading data from an Excel file.I am able to create business partners but I couldn't find the BAPI using which I can add Employee data for "Employee" role of a new Business Partner.
Can anyone help me out in this regard.

I heard there is a function module in SRM which can send Vendor Master Data from SRM to ECC please confirm for me if there is such a function Module and what is it called. ThanksHi,
Vendor Master data is replicated to SRM from ECC. Standard Transactions (BBPGETVD,..) will be used to replicate the data from ECC.
Vendor Master will exists in ECC, so there is no point in sending the same back from SRM to ECC. If the requirement is the other way around, we can use the transaction BBPGETVD in SRM system.
