Manage indicators on WIB

Hello.
Does anyone tell me if there is the possibility to add values to indicators on a layout?
I can add new characteristic values but cannot add new indicator values.
Thks.

  • SMQ2 error HUSELECT005

    Hi
I have a WM system with stocks inclusing of HUs because one of my WM managed storage location is also HU managed.
Now, I have converted WM storage locations to EWM and removed HU management indicators were earlier HU managed and completed all necessary configurations and system is working smoothly (i.e. any inbound/outbound deliveries created in WM managed storage locations are now being distributed to EWM and vice versa along with HUs created either in ECC or EWM systems)
I have uploaded the stocks to EWM system using transaction /SCWM/ISU without an update to ECC system. The stocks uploaded are inclusive of HUs existing in ECC stocks.
When I am trying to issue the HU stocks (which are newly uploaded to EWM) against any customer outbound deliveries using pick WT and do PGI in EWM system, I am seeing the an error (HUSELECT005) in SMQ2 of ECC system for the outbound delivery.
HUs I have chosen for picking are existing in WM system as SUs (in LQUA table) and also in EWM system (uploaded using ISU transaction.
    Am I wrong anywhere here.
Depleting the stocks from WM system and then connecting that storage location to EWM system and then uploading hte stocks again into EWM system might work for me but SAP has already provided direct stock upload using ISU transaction without disturbing the ECC stocks.
I have following this direct stock upload to EWM system.
Would you please help me in resolving this issue.
    Thank you.

    Hi Rohit,
The note is meant for CRM 4.0, we are using CRM 5.0. Also i checked the note, which is usefull for CSA* queue, which handles the Order replication. My issue is with R3AD_BUPA, where BP gets replciated from R/3. Any other pointer.
    regards,

  • Copying program RFSEPA03 to ZRFSEPA03

    Dear Experts,
I would like to deactivate the OI managed indicators in G/L accounts. To do so I need to copy program RFSEPA03 to ZRFSEPA03 (OSS note 175960) and suppress a message.
In my mind, this is a relatively simple development. Therefore, my question is:
    1. How much would be required to create the Z program and suppress the message?
    2. Normally, what are the steps required to ensure the integrity of the program? In other words, what are the test or checks that I need to do?
    Thank you.
    Kind regards,
    Teck Liang

Are you running the code or executable. If code, do you have the same LabVIEW version installed in  both PCs?

  • Critical factors/specifications in the WM views

    Hello all,
I would like to know what are the Critical process or specifications in the material master of the WM views that affect/impact the related SAP functionalities.
if anyone has a related document or link pl. post it.
    Thanks,
    Maxx

I haven't seen any detailed document explaining each of the material master fields to the functionality level for WM. SAP standard help and all the documentation we have in this area describes limited functionality. You can check MLGN and MLGT table fields for all the fields in WM views and go through F1 help on WM view of the material master. At a higher level:
WM1 View -> General Data: is about units of measure (Base Unit for system default and calculations and WM unit for material handling in warehouse interms of TO confirmation, UoM proposal settings), weights, volumes,  Capacity definition, and Hazardous material identification. You can also see picking storage type for planning purpose (not used for TO creation) and batch management indicators here
WM1 View->Strategy Data: is about Storage Type/Section indicators guiding stock placement and removal of the particular material linked to strategies setup in IMG settings. This also includes bulk storage indicator for material requiring bulk handling and special movement indicator handle special requirements on stock movement to select particular strategies or interim storage types, Type of 2-step picking procedure if relevant. Addition to existing stock in bins can be managed with the indicator at material master level in this view. Message to IM applies for Decentrallised WM where data transafers are necessary between SAP and WM.
WM2 View->Palletisation Data: Used for proposing optimum material handling with Loading equipment qty. Ex: If you have 4 pallets of 25 Cases Each with a case qty of 100. It totals to 10000 EA. While stock placement, WM can split the total qty into pallets and remaining qty into Cases and further remaining qty into EAs and propose TOs.
WM2 View->Storage Bin stock: Used to define fixed bins and picking areas at material master level. other fields are useful in replenishments, Capacity calculations and rounding.

  • A better way to manage Notes?

We are a small team in collaboration on a book-length manuscript. My editors are inserting hundred of Notes into the document that I must cycle through and resolve each one. But I find the Note icon soooo tiny. When I'm at full page I can barely see those little guys. Is there any way to make the Note indicators bigger or something? In general. I don't see this Notes tool as very robust compared to change tracking type features found in word processors.
I just want a better way to manage the Notes flow.

I find using Notes in Story Editor to be way better.
    CTRL Y or CMD Y
Then you can Expand/Collapse notes in Story Editor.
Far easier to read and implement there, or if you need to switch back to layout just hit the shortcut again.
It's also useful to tile a Story Editor window and the corresponding document's window, to have both views of the content.

  • Posting periods in material management

    hi mm gurus,
i m fico guy, i need some help form ur side. the t.c. MMPV is closing the posting periods in MM is it right, then what is OMSY?  as per as my knowledge in MM we have a chance to open only 2 periods,  in OMSY the periods belogs open periods? or closed Perids?
my question in OMSY the periods belongs open or closed?
    can u explain please.
    thanqu

The T code OMSY is for Activating Material Management against a Company code.
Maintain the Material Master company code in OMSY.
This is done when you want :
    1.  To create a material master record, the control record must exist for the company code for which you want to create your master record.
    2.  To set up a company code, enter the current period here.
    3.  When changing the Allow backposting or Disallow backposting indicators
You can also use MMRV to set the Allow/Disallowed backposting indicators.
The current and previous period is shown on both transaction codes.
As MMPV is only Used for Opening  / Closing MM Periods.
There are a number of activities that are managed by period in the materials ledger including:  certain stock totals valuations, price units, goods movements, etc.
MMPV executes program RMMMPERI to close the current period and open the new one.

  • SAP Strategy Management - Under BO or BI

    Hi,
In one place (help.sap.com), I see Strategy Management included under SEM (so I assume it is under BI)  where as in another place (sap.com), it is included under Business Objects. Can someone please guide? Or, are those two different applications with similar names?
    Thanks,
    Prashant

    Hi Prashant,
Why do v need SSM ?
    -->  Visualization of goals
-->  Review progress in reaching these goals
-->  Measurement progress in reaching these goals.
-->  Modelling different Scenarios to identify an ideal strategy.
-->  Integration of Non-financial indicators, to enable a holistic planning and control of effort and efficiency.
-->  Balanced mixture of measures for different perspectives like financial results, process efficiency, customer and Employee satisfaction.
-->  Realization of strategic goals by deflecting initiatives.
-->  Continuosly reviewing the impact of an initiative on all goals.
A SSM System will bring managers attention to the important performence metrics that drive success based on all areas that are
important to the functions of the company, and also to analyze the Individual performence of the Employee in the organization.
I can say that SAP Business Objects Strategy management is purely used under Business objects and the latest version is SSM 7.5

  • Inventory Count for Batch Managed materials - Plant, S.Loc and Batch Wise

    Hi.,
In the company's current scenario, the printing of batch managed materials are scheduled under 3 Job names.
    1. First job determines the materials/batches that need to be created today using Program RM07ICN1
    2. Second Job Processes the BDC Session created by Program RM07ICN1 using Program: RSBDCSUB
    3. Third Job prints the Inventory tickts at the appropriate Storage location using Program: RM07IDRU
Each Job has its own variant.
The Variant for SL.No 1 is defined w.r.t
    i. Material Type : Two Material types have been defined
ii. Under selection variable, GIDAT ( Planned count date and GBDAT are flagged.
    Current Analysis:
    A. The inventory documents get printed with Materials as per the cycle counting indicators defined which govern which material has to be currently counted.
    B. Inventory documents are generated for all materials in all the plants and in all the storage locations
    C. Batches for a material number may print on different cycle count documents throughout the year.
    Customer requirement:
The inventory documents to print on basis of
    1. Material, Plant and S.Loc.
This would help in identifying the batches which are currently being counted as well.
    2. Customers requirement is to ensure that all batches are accounted for and will identify any overage of batches since in the current process, they are never reviewed as a whole.
    QUESTION:
    1. How to configure the Customer requriement.
    2. How to configure the Variant/s, if thats the place the configuration has to be done to satisfy the customer.
    3. How to activate the Variant in SE37 after definition in the Step Indicator. Does it activate on execution?
When i run the Program using SE38 , maintaining options in the Screen ( giving Material, Plant and S.loc), i get the desired list (Batches w.r.t Material,plant.S.Loc). But there is a list of over 150 Batch managed materials and it would not be physically possible to maintain the variant for each each Material, plant,S.loc wise.
Is there a way to configure the customer requirement/s.
Any and all help is much appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hello Mahesh,
<b>Customer requrirement is specific, they want a list of Inventory Documents to be generated on basis of Material in each Plant-S.Loc batch wise.</b>
Then you need to define multiple varinat for the program.
<b>(a) If i am giving two variants in the same Program name RM07ICN1, how to execute one after after in sequence.
In testing, I have defined in the " Step", Progran RM07ICN1 with one variant and Program RM07ICN1 with another Variant. But on execution of Program RM07ICN1 thru SE38, the screen defined latter ( second variant screen data ) is displayed.</b>
You need to define several steps in SM36 transaction for the program using each variant. SE38 you can use only to save your variant data so later you can use this variant in SM36.
Once you schedule the job with SM36 and release it then it will automatically execute this job as per your criteria (timeline)
    Hope this helps.

  • How to specify finite simulation stop time in VI generated using SIT connection manager

    Hello,
I have a SIMULINK model which I want to run on a desktop ETS. I'm following this procedure:
    1. Convert the SIMULINK model in a .DLL using RTW build in Matlab. The target of this build is nidll.tlc.
    2. Create a host VI with required indicators and map the parameters using SIT connection manager.
    3. Configure the DAQ (and then SIT connection manager generated the driver and IO files for me.)
    4. Using LV project, run the driver on the desktop ETS and host VI on the host machine.
The code is working fine, without any error.
My question is this: Since in the driver VI, the simulation time is set to -1, which implies "continuous", the simulation goes on until I hit the stop button on the host VI.
I tried changing this default value to some other value. The simulation then does run for the defined amount of time but then I'm getting error 2206.
What is an appropriate way to stop the simulation on the RT target?
    Thanks
    Gayatri
    PS: I'm using LV 8.5, LVRT 8.5, SIT 4.0, Matlab @2007a.

The VI in the Driver VI called SIT Initialize Model.vi has an input called time step (sec) (-1: use model time step) which does what you want it to. It doesn't actually affect the time step of the solver used in the built model DLL, just the rate at which the main base rate loop actually runs in real time. In fact, base rate loop period would be a better name for this control. If you set it, you won't alter your model, but you will be able to adjust the rate of the base rate loop.
Simply create a control from this input terminal on your driver VI and fill in an appropriate period in seconds. Make sure to set this value as default in the control so that the Driver VI remembers it.
You will have to take into account that your model will still think it's running at the time step it was compiled at. So your model simulation time and the actual wall clock time won't match up.

  • Goods receipt and GR non-val indicators in PO Delivery tab

I'm trying to disable the buyer from being able to uncheck the goods receipt indicator or to check the GR non-val indicators in the PO (except in the case of multiple account assignment.  In OMF4 I changed GR/IR control and "Delivery completed" indicator to display in field selection group NBF.  In OMF2 I set GR indicator to display.  I also changed defaults in Maintain Account assignment categories.
In testing in ISX everything worked as expected.  I moved the config to QA and the indicators are disabled unless I enter a multiple account assignment which then makes the Good receipt and the GR non-valuated indicators changeable.
    What am I missing?
    Regards
    Lillian Bucholz

Check the field selection for AKTH, then ME21n, then PT0F and NBF (all should have optional) then A/C category make display.
If still this not work then go to MM>Purchasing>Authorization management -->Define functional authorization for buyers
(before that create the filed selection by copying me21n and change it as per your requirements and then assign here in field selection contrl field
Define the function authorizations according to your requirements.
    -  Specify the key and the description of the function authorization.
    -  On the detailed data screen, select the authorizations for
functions that can be carried out by the user.
Enter the desired key as a parameter under the parameter ID EFB in the
    user master.

  • Preference Processing: Not able to see PO in Manage Vendor Declaration

    Hello All,
I have completed below activities for Preference Processing
    1) Material transferred from Feeder to GTS
    2) Material Prices & Procurement indicators transferred to GTS
    3) BOM Transferred to GTS
    4) Material and all BOM item classified
    5) Preference indicators and LTVD details are maintained in Product master in GTS
Now I have create a PO for Raw material and the PO is transferred to GTS but i am not able to see the PO in path /SAPSLL/MENU_LEGAL --> Risk Management --> Preference Processing --> Manage Vendor - Based Vendor Declaration --> Display worklist.
    Have i missed any configuration?
    Awaiting for positive reply
    Thanks & Regards
    Rahul

It doesn't sound as much that you missed something as it does you'd done one step too many.
In step 5 where you say you have maintained preference/ltvd status in the MM; that's why you wouldn't be seeing your PO listed under 2014 in pref processing.  Since you've already manually maintained it's status, you've basically bypassed the need for that PO this year.
If you change the year in Preference Processing however, you should see your PO listed for the FTO in question for 2015.  Without the manually maintained material status in place, this material/vendor combination should be relelvant for request with the year pushed out.
    Thanks,

  • PDA - Memory Leak LV 8.0.1 PDA using Slide Indicators

I originally encountered this error when, for no obivous reason, my application would crash after a certain amount of time.  I began to write a message on this board and while I was writing it, it occured to me that this crash certainly reaked of a memory leak.  I went back to my application and added in some memory monitoring displays and sure enough there was a leak.  After about 2 hours of removing everything else that I thought could have possibly caused the error, I removed the slide indicators and low and behold ... Memory Leak gone.  The Vi speaks for itself but I would really like some NI feedback on this.  I'm using LV PDA 8.0.1 under WM5.0 on an iPAQ hx2490.  The leak also occurs with a tank indicator, any slide indicator, a control slide changed to an indicator, and a dial indicator.  It does not, however, occur with the Meter indicator or the thermometer indicator.  Thanks in advance for the feedback NI.
If anyone else would like to verify that this is truly the case and I'm not just seeing things that would be great.

    Greycat,
You couldn't be more right. I was able to duplicate exactly what you're seeing. There is certainly a memory leak when you have at least a slide indicator wired up on the block diagram. I'm going to file a bug report to R&D. THANK YOU so much for the code you posted that CLEARLY demonstrates the issue. I'm really sorry for the trouble and I very much appreciate the time you took to trouble shoot your code, find the problem, and even explore the problem. We really appreciate your patience.

  • BPM - Process Performance Indicators and Process Monitoring

    Hi,
In SAP BPM, is there any way to get some reports or dashboard with key PPI (Process Performance Indicators). What we are really interested in is to know how many times a month a process or a specific task of a process has been run, how many time it took to complete the task, was the task completed on time, where are we in the process right now, etc?
We have just started to look into SAP BPM, but my first impression is that it is more a modeling tool along with some taks coordinations. I feel like it's missing the key analytics to really drive innovation in our processes.
Probably that I'm wrong and I've missed something. Please let me know if there is a way to do that, if there are any workarounds or if there are any SAP partners that offer a solution that we could use along with SAP BPM.
    Thanks a lot!
    Martin

    Thanks for your feedback.
We want to implement a SAP BPM scenario in a finance process for the VAT Tax reporting. So basically, our accountant needs to run some SAP transactions along with some manual outside steps. Then the supervisor will perform some checks and finally the tax manager needs to approve it.
There is some interactions with SAP but only for a small part of the process. What we want to achieve is to be able to see the key performance indicator for our process. But at the moment this is not delivered with SAP BPM. I've heard that this may come in the next release end of 2009, but in the meanwhile I'm wondering if other people have been able to implement some customization in Net Weaver or have found other alternatives to be able to monitor their process adequately.
    Thanks
    Martin

  • BPM - Change Management

    Hello all guys
I am working on a document in which i need information about the process of change management for oracle bpm (for example versioning of projects and so on).
I have already the document for deploying in which is the information for versioning projects and deploying...
Does anyone know where i could get information related to change management for bpm enterprise???
I've been searching on oracle university and the web in general but i can't find any information.
Any information provided is really helpfull
    Thanks in advance guys :)

    Hi Srikanth,
It's a good question and I hope this helps.
My short answer is that "it depends...".
Yes, an Oracle BPM process will let your users enter the change required, assign priority, define the change approvals, and send automatically send emails to managers.
Not saying that this is the case here, but sometimes people confuse an application with what BPM does with a process.  Ask yourself if your candidate process for BPM has one or more of these characteristics:
Workflow - are there multiple people involved in the editing and approvals over some period of time?
Documentation - as work flows through the process, will you need to gather requirements / documents and associate these with the instance?
Seamless integration - are there systems and or databases involved that you need to integrate into the process?
Efficiency - do you want to ensure that your process continues to flow and escalates when a work item sits too long in someone's queue?
Governance - do you need to have an audit trail of the various people who were involved as a work item instance (a change approval in your case) flowed through the process?
Compliance - do you need to have the change management instances go through a process in a consistent and well documented manner?
Visibility - do you need to gather key performance indicators as instances flow through the process and do managers need to track these in business activity monitoring reports?
    Hope this helps,
