Manage multiple screens

Question

Hi there,
i got a question concerning an example which was posted about managing multiple screens which Angela Caicedo posted on oracle blogs:

I got all working but one thing won´t work because of the first line:
     Group root = new Group();
       root.getChildren().addAll(mainContainer);
       Scene scene = new Scene(root);
       primaryStage.setScene(scene);
       primaryStage.show();
Because all the screens get finally added to a Group they are not resizable. The main window could be resized but the content
won´t because of the Group.
I tried some things but without any luck.
Could one point me plz to the correct direction

I think you misunderstood my previous post.
Replace
Group group = new Group();
group.getChildren().addAll(mainContainer);
Scene scene = new Scene(group);
with
Scene scene = new Scene(mainContainer);
