Mandatory fields passing to the structure POCOND in BAPI_PO_CREATE1

Hi,
Please help me that what are the mandatory fields passing to the structure POCOND in BAPI_PO_CREATE1. I am using BAPI to create the PO based on certain conditions. But after creating the PO the condition values are not updating properly. Currently i am not passing any values to the structure.
Your solutions should be highgly appreciated. Please help me this issue as early as possible

In my current requirement i m using BAPI_PO_CREATE1 to create the PO.
I am passing all the line item detials to the BAPI.
For some of the material rounding value are maintained in MM02 on MRP view.
If the line item material maintains rounding value then instead of taking the PO item quantity, it is taking the rounding value that has maintained in MM02. So to control that i have done the forceful updation using the update statement in one of the exit on BAPI_PO_CREATE1.
Here i m facing one problem. Now i can able to udpate the PO quantity correctly.
But the Condition value maintained in the Condition View still taking the rounding value for calculating.
To control this also i am using update statement on KONV table and the field is KAWRT. But this value is not updating.
Please help any one that in which table the the condition value is going to update and wht are the criteria to update the Condition Value field.
Points should allocate for suitable answer.

The PSKEY is related to teh PSNNNN structure that is associated with the data of a given info type. the PSKEY holds INFTY for processing info type data genericaly in background programs through generic structures, IE: pass any info type structure to a FM. This INFTY field allowed the programs to know which info type structure is being processed unlike the PAKEY which is used to save infotype data in the back end system at the DB level.

Mandatory Fields displaying in the table

In my create Page , fields are present with input fields and DROP DOWN BY KEY AND rADIO GROUP.
In that some of the fields are mandatory.
If i enter values in that create page, it has to show fields in the table.
But iam having only mandatory fields should come in the table.
Our Abapers created table for the Mandatory fields only.
Iam having doubt how the remaining fields(not showing in the table) will connect to the database.
Will any one explain me on this.
Please help me.

Dynamic passing of the structure in LVC_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE

I'am doing report to read cluster results
My requirement is :
The report uses LDB -PNP in the selection screen in addition to that Clusterid is passed and what ever cluster id we select for the pernr that cluSter id results has to show in the report output
The report has to dynamically change in the output (whole structure of the cluster id) how to pass in selected cluster id (what we selected in the selection screen) in the function module

Recently I have been working on generic cluster access and I must say the task was challenging. What I've discovered is:
- generic access as per cluster ID is impossible via [IMPORT ... FROM DATABASE...|http://help.sap.com/abapdocu_70/en/ABAPIMPORT_SHORTREF.htm] -> in order to create a fully flexible access you would have to go for pure dynamic program generation by means of [GENERATE SUBROUTINE POOL|http://help.sap.com/abapdocu_70/en/ABAPGENERATE_SHORTREF.htm]
- as there are houndreds of available cluster IDs it is very difficult to determine those relevant to particular employee. For just one table PCL2 there are multiple of unknown to me areas which are hard to distinguish from those (un)relevant to employee. First look at fixed values from domain RELID_PCL2 gives the feeling what we are struggling with.
- focusing on all common clusters (only from PCL2) like CU, RX, ZL, B2, PS, PT can narrow the search result but still is a lot to be handled by one program
- eventually looking deeper only on RX and possibly B2 areas seemed to be the best choice (as mostly we use only those - at least I do). So I focused on this area as generic payroll result can be easily extracted. What I needed was extracting relid for given EE molga, then py result type for this relid, the simply using FM PYXX_READ_PAYROLL_RESULT to access py results itself for given cluster directory entry (table hrpy_rgdir )
- the final challenge was how to show the results in user friendly form. As the result table I had was not only nested but deep too it wasn't so obvious. Luckily to me I was using Web Dynpro which allows to create table popins (showing the table within the table) but I don't think there is corresponding GUI control in SAP GUI. So considering how you want to show this data is really not an easy thing to do.
- As for the structure of payroll result itself (or rather structure of each of its components) can be delivered using RTTI but you will also sweat a bit before getting that done.
To conclude. There is no easy way of accessing clusters by just giving its RELID Even though you would focus on some specific part, it will take you more time then you expect at the beggining. So I would try to suppress the tempation for a moment and consider all these discussed (and those which I didn't think of) aspects.

Hi Satya,
In the field data section (technical information), you can double click on the field name then the system will take you to SE11 (Data Dictionary). From here, you can check whether the field is available in tranparent table or structure.
In general, as naren mentioned sales order header data stored in table VBAK and line item in table VBAP, VBEP, etc.
For request delivery date, it stores in table VBAK-VDATU.

you export the mapping from graphical mapping tool use this option in theeditor.
In ammping Editor CRTLSHIFTRight click -> Tools->Export .
once you export the XML to our localdesktop make sure the extesion .mte.
you can edit the XML write an XSD defination to define blank values for all blank fields.

How to remove the mandatory field setting in output control

Hi everybody,
While printing a Payment Voucher through F-58 and FBZ5(reprint), there are two output devices, the first one is - printer for forms and second is - payment advice printer.
In our case we have configured the cheque printing and payment voucher printing seperately. The cheque goes to first printer(kept mandatory field) and the payment voucher goes to second printer. One of our plant does not print the cheque from SAP, they only print the payment voucher because the cheque is manually prepared. How do I avoid the cheque printing. Is there any way out to print only the payment voucher through F-58 and FBZ5
Please guide me how to tackle it or how to remove the mandatory field setting in the output control screen?

As of my understanding, there is no relation ship between the Sales Organization and this mandatory partner function.
Here are few suggestions.
1. Since Partner functions are defualted and made mandatory in the Partner Determination Procedure so you have to remove this Mandatory option for PE from the Partner Determination Procedure that is AG if using standard one.
2. If you are using a single partner function than , Copy and create a New partner procedure and a new account group . Where in one you can default PE as mandatory and in another one you make a optional where it can be choosen manually while creating the customer.
Follow the path to check for entries :
SPRO > sales & distribution > Basic Function > Partner Determination > set up partner determination > select for customer master > select the partner procedure you are using AG as standard > then partner function in procedure > here maintian the check as required like, Mandatory or No check for Non Mandatory .

how can i hide the error msg for the mandatory fields when they are not entered?? when i don't put a value in a mandatory field and commit the form, an error msg occurs teelling to enter the value for that mandatory field, but the error msg is not friendly at all and i want to hide it.

I'll assume you are talking about ADF Faces + ADF Business Components application, since you don't mention it.
If you are talking about the pop-up Javascript dialog box that pops up, you can do the following:
1). Set required=false on those fields in your JSP.
2). Set showrequired=true on those same fields so that there is a visual indication that the fields are required
3). Ensure the attribute to which the fields are bound have "mandatory" set to true in the BC's
Now, when you commit the form, you will not see the Javascript pop-up, but you will see a message in the af:messages component.

Display is a mandatory field for creating the activity.
As you must be knowing CRMOD have two type of activity "Task" and "Appointment". This field is to define that.
If you wish to Create "Task" then pass this as "Task"
If you wish to create Appointment pass as "Appointment"
Some places this same field is refer by "Activity" field.

The table thus created will have one column but it will not have any structure.
How can I write a code with this effect:

I will be able to name it. But out of the academic interest I want to know that without altering the decalation part can we do it

There are two points to be noted here -
1. the table you have created doesn't have a header line.
2. The table you have created doesn't have a "structure".
All internal tables declared with reference to a non-structural type / object have got only one field.
for example -
Data ITAB TYPE I OCCURS 0.
These internal tables have certain limitations. They cannot be displayed in an ALV Grid, for instance.
And since they do not have a structure, the hypen operator '-' doesn't really make sense. When you say SYST-UCOMM, you are referring to the field UCOMM in the structure SYST.

Hi Babu !
Log into the R/3 system, transaction WE60, enter the idoc type MATMAS01 or 02, 03, 04, then press F8 or go to Documentation menu, HTML Format.
It will display a document, telling you which fields are optional and which mandatory.

Mandatory Fields in iView created from SHD0 (sceen variant)

I am experiencing an issue with the Portal display of an (IAC) iView. The iView displays PZ05 and a transaction variant was setup to handle Emergency contact info. I created a screen variant for the second screen of this transaction (screen 0200) in which I made 7 of the fields mandatory in the variant. When this is tested on the R/3 side the mandatory fields are displayed the way they are supposed to be (with the check mark in the box, denoting it as a required field) however when they are displayed in the iView on the Portal the mandatory fields are completely filled up with the "check mark in the box". In other words the "Name" field is 40 character... and there are 52 "check marks in the box" characters filling up the field. The iView works great but this looks ugly. Any suggestions on what I should do to rectify the situation?
We are running Portal 6.0 SP15 with a stand alone ITS on a 4.6c backend and the Business Package is 50.4.

When you create Vendors properly in ECC it should not give such an error. You have to maintain basic data, Accounting data and purchasing data. Rest all are optional.
For replicating vendors from R/3 to SRM you should have a Vendor root org / group in SRM. BBPGETVD is used to replicate vendors to SRM by mentioning the logical system and Vendor Group ID.

Mandatory fields in IP01

In IP01 while creating Maintenance Plan,
For the maintenance plan category selected i.e. Maintenance Order
               Required mandatory fields are Priority and Planner Group.
For the maintenance plan category selected i.e Maintenance Notification
               Required mandatory field is only Priority.
With the help of user exit IPRM0004 (Maintenance plan / item: Customer check for time "SAVE"),   we could achieve two fields (Priority and Planner Group) mandatory in above both cases.
But we donu2019t require planner group mandatory with the input selection of maintenance plan category i.e Notification, Please advice how to remove it.

I think you have maintained the short text for maintenance plan type PM and NO ask him to refer table T399W and if the MPTYP is PM both the fields to be mandatory and if MPTYP is NO only priority to be mandatory

User exit for confirmation of production order for mandatory fields

While confirming the production order ( CO11 & order type -PP01) , production order should not be saved/confirmed without entering the mandatory field (No. of employees), which is the mandatory field set in the config of "define field selection for confirmation"
It is allowing if user does't click on the tab (personal/additional data).
Without entering the mandatory fields in any tab system should not allow user to confirm the order
How to apply this lock ?
Also while doing the production confirmation (Co11N) ,user should not have the rights to changes ,adds or delete the component and its quantity OR if user make the changes , suystem should not allow to post the confirmation?How to make this in SAP?

Hi,
You can check the user exit CONFPP05 (Customer Specific Input Checks when Saving) and its function exit EXIT_SAPLCORF_105 in the transaction code SMOD.
With this enhancement you can update your own data after saving the confirmation. You cannot change the confirmation itself.
In this enhancement it is strictly FORBIDDEN to send error messages or other dialogs, otherwise data inconsistencies could occur, for which SAP accepts no liability.
You can check with your ABAPer's.
