Mandatory parameter 'IdcService' for POST or GET is missing

I checked in a document into 10gR3 content server running on top of Win 2003 server .
I can search for the document. Open the document from inside my home page. I can get content ID info about the document.
I selected the "send link by email.
My email client (outlook) is launched correctly with re:folio admin guide in the subject line
In the body of the e-mail

However if I use the other 2 links for the native file or the content info I get the error message in a html page
Mandatory parameter 'IdcService' for POST or GET is missing. Request could not be processed. Could not find the parameter 'IdcService'.
I know that the IDCService is running, as it is visible within the services panel, as well as the obvious that the content server would not be running, e.g. http://fileserver3/idc/idcplg?IdcService=GET_DOC_PAGE&Action=GetTemplatePage&Page=HOME_PAGE&Auth=Internet
I turned on the full trace option and searched the content server log file but there was no failure request.

Hi Scott,
With EnableQueryRules and ProcessBestBets set to true in the search rest api, we can get the promoted results(best bets) in SharePoint 2013.
I recommend to type the search rest api URL in the browser directly and then check if the best bets are displayed at the top of the search results.
It will not displayed inside the table for normal results.
Please also make sure that the query text matches the query rule condition.

Assignment field is not getting populated in KSB1 for posting key 50

Hi All,
We are uploading entries thru excel in SAP.
For posting key 50 assignment field is not getting populated in KSB1.
But for posting key 40 it is getting populated correctly.
All setting (FSG, posting key details) are same for both the keys.
No substitution defined in SAP.
There is no issue for FBL3N for both the posting keys, only issue with KSB1.
Any idea what could be the reason for this?

KSB1 is CCtr report..
if it is revenue normally it will be treated as statistical posting in CCtr accounting- for the cost element when it is defined as revenue element.. - check Cost elements - whether it is Cost and cost reducing or revenue element--
possibility this can be one of the reason.

Ok.. I assume your talking about the actual test result value. These do not roll up into the QM LIS structures used in transactions MCXA or MCXD.
You might be able to create your own structures and have them updated but you would have develop that.
You can create run charts for various MIC's and utilize the SPC functionality if you need monthly averages and trends.
If your batch managed you can easily get reports of batch values via the CL30N transaction. You'll want to make sure you have a characteristic for batch production or receipt date so you can sort and select by date. These can then be loaded to Excel for summing and averaging.

Can a Journal status be changed so it doesn't get selected for posting?

When a new journal is created, can we change the status so it doesn't get selected for posting by teh Auto-Post program. We can't set this in the Auto-Post program as we use the same Category and Source for creating other journals which need to go through the Auto-Post program. Is there a control at the journal level which can stop it from getting posted?

Can we get a new category for posts besides "Helpful" and "Solved"?

Because there should be a button for "Opposite of Helpful" to label those posts that pretend to be answers, but are really just a waste of pixels or a means for someone to get their message count up.
Most of the time the users are fantastic and helpful and at least try to help you solve a problem, even if they don't have the answer.
But then there are The Others.
And rather than indulge in a slanging match, it would be nice to just click on an "Unhelpful" button to stop some (hypothetical) poster from advising you to (hypothetically) "Get a Dell!" to solve your Mac problems.

As Nick posted above that system of applying helpful/unhelpful to posts was tried a few years back and was found to not work as many users abused it and it did not function the way it was intended.
Once you have achieved level two status through acquiring points in the current system you will be able to report posts to the moderators to have them edited or deleted if they don't follow the Terms of Use of the forums. You also can always post your concerns about a topic/post here in this forum for the moderators to attend to. Just include a link to the offending post or topic.
One never knows though, the system might changes again but that is up to the powers that be

Profit Center as mandatory field for Posting keys 01, 11, 31, etc.

Currently I am in a project in which we have implemente New GL; my client is asking me to activate the Profit Center field for posting keys 01, 11, 21 and 31, so they can post in example documents with posting key 31 (vendor) vs posting key 01 (client). I modified the accounts field status in order for the Profit Center to be mandatory. I modified, as well, posting keys 01, 11, 21 and 31 field status' in orden for the profit center to be mandatory as well. Regardless of this, the profit center just doesn't appear when I post a document in example through tx F-02.
Does anyone knows how to make this field appear for the posting keay I mentioned? Is it possible? or is this a system limitation?

BDC / Bapi For Post Incoming Payment (F-28)

Im creating BDC for F-28. But it got error coming out.

What I do is: First, I search for Line Item then Document Number. Then It return to basic list. Then I loop again for the second Line Item Number and Document Number.
I can activate the first amount but cannot for the next amount and so on.
Anybody could help me on this??

As you have been told already in the several other forums where you posted this same question:
Oracle does not come with a default service name of "orcl" defined.
You have also been told to use the "lsnrctl" command to see what services are defined.
Have you done this?

RFC Adaptive model in web dynpro application gives mandatory parameter erro

I need to check when we create model to call bapi from backend, are there any checks for the input data which are done by the model before the bapi is called ?
I am passing some input parameters and I get the following error on the screen. and the return structure is empty.
Mandatory parameter BFLUSHDATAGEN of method BAPI_REPMANCONF_CREATE_MTS missing
But if I pass the very same paramters directly in se37 transaction to the bapi, then this error is not seen. it gives some other error in return structure.
There fore I have a doubt is there any check which doesnt call the bapi at all if it doesnt find the parameters it is looking for. I know the paremeters are not correct but I expect to see the same error what is seen in se37 in the return structure of my modal context element.

PL/SQL - Masking Parameters on URL with Form Post vs Get

I am inquiring about the PL/SQL functionality of passing focus from one procedure/function to another
via HTML web pages, using FORM ACTION="post" against "get".
I've successfully written a good bit of code using the "get" functionality, where the parameters are passed
on the URL, but security really wasn't an issue on that phase of the application. Now that it is, I'm researching
further on how to use the ACTION="post" to mask the parameters from the URL and not receive failures in the process.
I've seen multiple references in books showing the simple process of calling the procedure/function
which does not explicitly require parameters, and using the ACTION="post", but when doing so, it returns
the typical PL/SQL message that the page can not be found.
We are running 9i, but not running 9iAS. Is it necessary to have 9iAS in order to reap these benefits,
or is it not as simple as it's seems and I should just use Java Servlets/JSPs instead?
Any information, or direction, would be appreciated.
