Many issues with ILife '06

Hello all,
I have spent the last couple of hours trying to fix my problems. I have been using Ilife 4 for my projects for over a year now, and I got I life 06. Heres my problems.
1)When making and IDVD project in ImovieHD, I share to IDVD.At first IDVD opened. I go to preview the movie, and it freezes and the audio is static. I imported the Imovie to quicktime with expert settings, opened up IDVD put in the quicktime file and it worked great. Is this a common occurence with the new I life???
2) Next project...I am taking out pictures with the transitions "Overlap" I cut them, I replace the deleted images with transition overlap. I play back the movie, and the images I deleted are still partially there with transition, causing me to cut the clip. ????is this a bug, are other people getting this???
3) I don't try to share with IDVD, I just export to quicktime. NOW, Idvd won't open...I deleted the pslist (SP?) and it still won't work, deleted mp3's...nothing.
4) Since I have os x 10.3.9, can I downgrade back to I life 4??? If so, how can I do this??? I don't see anything on it. I am wasting more time trying to fix the glitches with I lIFE 6 than it takes for me to do my projects.
HELP PLEASE!If this doesn't make sense, I agree. This whole thing is just stressing me out.

Many issues with WRT160N v3 (Windows 7 related?)

Ok so here's the story.
Several months ago I purchased a WRT160N v2. I was connecting four devices. 1 XP machine, 1 Vista machine, 1 PS3, and 1 Xbox 360.
The XP machine is using Wireless-N PCI Adapter model no. WMP300N. The Vista machine is using a Wireless-N USB Network Adapter with Dual-Band, model no. WUSB600N
The process was fairly straight forward and I was successful in getting everything set up correctly. It worked great for the most part barring any unexpected wireless crashes.
A few weeks ago I accidentally bricked the router when trying to upgrade the firmware. It was my mistake and I should have been thinking but it happened. I was able to get a replacement from Linksys and I received the WRT160N v3
Sadly this router hasn't provided me with the same easy of installation.
Right now the situation is a little different than before. I am running a Windows 7 machine right now. It's up to date and working great. I haven't noticed any issues with the OS other than some random driver issues here and there.
I first attempted to just plug the router into my modem to see if my Windows 7 machine would automatically see it and connect. To my surprise it actually did. It connected and I was able to get online.
But here's the problem, my speed when connected was horrible. It would range anywhere from 75-1Mbps. For comparison, when on Windows XP I would get a locked 130Mbps. In addition to that, the LAN connection will not work. At all. It see's the connect, it shows it's connected and online. Then when I attempt to get online it fails and knocks me back to local access only.
I then attempted to set up the connection using the included disc for v3. This was problematic due to compatibility issues I assume. It didn't fair any better.
The final thing I did was plug my computer directly to the router without connection to the internet and disconnected from the Wireless and attempted to upgrade the firmware. THIS PROCESS WAS SUCCESSFUL. It did not fail and brick the router. I did it correctly this time. To repeat, this did not brick the router.
Ok, so I guessed it was due to Windows 7? I called Linksys up and they said they were unable to support the unreleased beta OS. I'm fine with that.
Next I decided to see if I could get my Vista machine online. With this I decided to run through the setup process that comes with router. I followed the steps to the T. Doing exactly what they told me to do. When it finished it showed it did have connection to the Internet. When the Linksys Easy Link Advisor started up and attempted to get me on wireless, it failed. It shows it lost connection and was unable to regain connection. Attempting to statically assign myself an IP address fails as well.
Using the LANA port with this router on the Vista machine works perfectly.
Right now I'm falling back to a very very old router. It's a Linksys Network Everywhere NR041 wired router. This router works rock solid with my Vista, Windows 7, PS3, and 360 all plugged in and only has some minor overheating issues (common with this model).
My questions:
Does the WRT160N v3 have issues with Windows 7?
Why exactly am I have so many issues with it at all?
Are there issues with my wireless card and Windows 7?
Would the compatibility issues cause the LAN connections to fail between the router and my Windows 7 machine?
Is there a better router solution for me?
I would prefer to not have to revert back to Windows XP as I am enjoying Windows 7.
I would appreciate any help I can get as I'm fairly unhappy with these two products so far.

There is a compatibilty issue with the Wireless Adapter and Windows 7 as it seems there are no specific Windows 7 Drivers to install the adapter...So basically that could be the reason why Windows 7 keeps loosing the Wireless Connection...
Also remember to reset the router to factory defaults after any firmware upgrade, then setup the router again from scratch. If you have not done this since your last firmware upgrade, please do this now and see if it corrects your problem. If you saved a router configuration file, DO NOT use it.
To reset the router press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds...Release the reset button...Unplug the power cable from your router, wait for 30 seconds and re-connect the power cable...Now re-configure your router...
Don't use the CD to re-configure the router, instead do a manual setup...

Also adjust the Wireless Settings on your Router -
Open an Internet Explorer browser page on your wired computer(desktop).In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1 and press Enter...
Leave username blank & in password use admin in lower case...
For Wireless Settings, please do the following : -
Click on the Wireless tab
- Here select manual configuration...Wireless Network mode should be mixed...
- Provide a unique name in the Wireless Network Name (SSID) box in order to differentiate your network from your neighbours network...
- Set the Radio Band to Standard-20MHz and change the Standard channel to 11-2.462GHz...Wireless SSID broadcast should be Enabled and then click on Save Settings...
Please make a note of Wireless Network Name (SSID) as this is the Network Identifier...
For Wireless Security : -
Click on the Sub tab under Wireless > Wireless Security...
Change the Wireless security mode to WPA, For Encryption, select AES...For Passphrase input your desired WPA Key. For example , MySecretKey , This will serve as your network key whenever you connect to your wireless network. Do NOT give this key to anyone and remember the key.
NOTE : Passphrase should be more that 8 characters...
Click on Advanced Wireless Settings
Change the Beacon Interval to 75 >>Change the Fragmentation Threshold to 2304, Change the RTS Threshold to 2304 >>Click on "Save Settings"...
Now see if you can locate your Wireless Network and attempt to connect...

HP ENVY 6t has many issues with USB headphone, Bluetooth and more serious issue

HP ENVY 6t doesn't work with USB headphone, unfortunately. could u let me know how to fix it?
Bluetooth mouse has been working for a day, it suddenly stopped working. Having checked the PC bluetooth connection, which said "Working properly". Could you let me know how to re-connect, or re-work?
"Not complete shut-down" blue screen issue right after receiving the HP PC when I closed display to be in sleep mode.
I see the "Safe mode" "...." or "Normal mode" screen always.
The HP PC is not stable UNFORTUNATELY.
Even if just brand new HP PC, there seems to be many issues.

Most of the time with USB headphones, you have to download the driver from the manufacturer before they will work properly.

So many issues with CS4 (bugs/rants)

I'm glad we can get trials. There are a few major issues I'm
having.
Viewing in Safari, when clicking back onto Dreamweaver, the
top bar will interact with Safari's tool bar. I have to click on
and off to get Dreamweaver to draw on top of Safari. When this
happens, there are also white flashes where windows are blank when
clicking once on a tab or design view, then on second click the
window draws. So anytime I click on the tool bars the page flashes
white (empty-void of my html) and reappears on next click. This
happens on first start, does not happen if I relaunch DW.
Table <td background> background input is gone from the
proprieties palette.
Table height does not display when selecting a table, only
width. So you have to go into the code and manually change or
delete the table height.
Some image/graphic outer edge colors do not match the defined
html color on the page in Dreamweaver but do in Live View and
Safari.
Selecting an image and linking it, automatically populates
without a border="0" resulting in an unwanted border color. It
should be "0" by default like version 8.
The color picker is not calibrated correctly. Using the
picker on a table cell with the bg color of #990000 gives me a
reading of #A31B12. And then getting a reading on the table cell
with #A31B12 the color picker reads #AC3022. So it progressively
gets lighter, while picking colors from the actual html, if doing
multiple cells. So not sure how the color pickers needs to be
calibrated to read the hex value because it's not currently doing
that.
I can't drag a file to the tab bar and be allowed to open it.
Not sure why that's not allowed?
Now some of these might be the new way DW codes, some might
be fixable with settings, but the color picker and random flashing
and viewing issues with Safari, linked images with no border seem
like actual bugs to me.

Yeah - it's there. But I was mistaken - it's in both the HTML
and the CSS
'tab' of the EXPANDED Property inspector - you have to click
on the little
almost invisible white triangle on the lower right-hand
corner of the
inspector to see the expanded section.

Many Issues With my LG Revolution

I got this phone in October and it has been a pretty decent phone up until recently. Lately I've been having a multitude of issues with the phone.
Turns on and off by itself randomly throughout the day (killing the battery while doing so)
Screen indicates headphones are plugged into the jack even when they are not
Screen brightness changes slightly on its own
When talking to others, sometimes they sound robotic
The screen freezes sometimes when you want to unlock it and it has to be re booted
Often times it will not send pictures to people
I took the phone in to my local Verizon store. They "wiped" the phone clean and gave it back saying that would clear up the issues. The issues began again shortly after leaving the store. I got fed up and called customer service. They had another Revolution overnighted to me. This phone lasted about two days before doing some of the same crazy things. I went back in to my Verizon store today. They are now overnighting me a Droid Razr. Hopefully issues do not come up with this one as well. I enjoy my Verizon service, just not my Verizon phone.

Hey i just wanted to confirm this post for you. I too have an LG Revolution and i have had issues lately with the following
Sends and receives multiple text messages ( Mainly on the 4g Network and here and there on the 3g)
Doesn't receive messages from some contacts
Loses 4g and 3g network when i am at full service
Verizon was said to have fixed these issues as they were network related in my area but it is back again so i am less then pleased with them.

Why so many issues with apple products?

Since Apple makes their own hardware and software why are there so many issues? I recently bought a iMac and a iPhone 4 and have had lots of issues just like many of you on the forums. I understand why windows has comptability problems cause they have to make their operating system work for all different computer manufacturers and configurations. But apple does not so what's the deal?

You will probably find that 90% of errors/problems on Macs are caused by 'user error', like introducing incompatible hacks and add-ons.
Moreover, a forum like this is an 'emergency room'. The millions of users who do not have (or may not realise that they have!) problems don't post here.
If you have any problems we would all like to help you iron them out. Just post a question in the specific forum for your model of Mac or version of OS X.

SSL patch update has caused many issues with my iPhone 5c

Since the patch update completed, my iPhone is acting ridiculous. I cannot use safari. Every time I try to search something, it tells me it cannot connect to server. I also cannot delete voicemails. Once I delete, the phone freezes and the voicemail is not deleted. It comes back from deleted messages. When I hit the phone toggle button, it opens up my recent call list but it opens to the calls from Thursday, the day I did the update. It also deleted every text message that I had sent that day from my text history. I have shut the phone down, what other options do I have?

I have actually talked to a couple people that I know that have the 5c and it seems like it is a hit or miss. Some people have problems with the blue ones, im having issues with the white one, some people have no issues att all. COnsider your son luck that he has no problems. I have had problems with 3 different whote 5c over the coarse of 4 months now and contuining to have problems.

TS1559 Why are there so many issues with the iPhone 4S? The WiFi setting on the 4S becoming greyed out is certainly NOT a rare instance.

Why does the iPhone 4S keep losing the ability to connect to a WiFi server? This is a repeat issue with one of our phones!

I had the same problem with my iphone 4S, ios 7.1.2. The wifi button was grayed out for some time now. I tried several methods that I found in various forums, including the reset of network settings, airplane mode, fridge and more. NOTHING!
Then I finally did what I wanted to avoid - the heating method, and it worked as follows:
1. iPhone turned on, I held a hair dryer close to it while keeping the screen on and watching it while heating the iphone with the hair dryer.
2. When the temperature warning came up on the screen, I put the iphone aside to cool up in room temperature (shut off the display). I turned it on/off couple of times until I saw that the warning was gone and normal screen came back.
3. The wifi was still grayed out.
4. I then did the network settings reset,
iphone wifi was back to normal!!

So Many Issues With My iPhone5s...

So lately I have been experiencing a lot of issues with my iPhone 5s Space Gray 16GB. I noticed that my iPhone has watermarks under the screen. I don't understand why though i have never had it closer than 5ft near water. If you know why this might be happening please feel free to reply. Thanks. Ok so lately I also realized ever since i updated to iOS 7.1.1 my iPhone turns off & on numerous of times a day. Thats only one thing… Ok so i finished updating my iPhone to 7.1.1 & not even an hour later my iPhone completely died, i was like ok whatever so i go and charge for like 1 hour because thats as long as it takes on a daily bases so i disconnect it to find the apple logo bouncing up & down in what i would call a 3D effect. I was like oh my gosh so i called apple to see if there was something they can do and i just got an "I Don't Know Sorry About" I was mad at that point. The Screen Finally Turns On And My Lockscreen Clock was bouncing left and right then everything turned to like a 3d effect once again, i unlocked my iPhone using the fingerprint and i was able to go look at my App Store then it kicked me out and there was the 3d again… i tried rebooting it and it just kept freaking out. Finally i called apple and the girl said lets do a soft reset (just a quick reboot) i told her it still doing the same thing she said "lets do a Factory Reset" i wasn't thrilled with the idea but I'm like as long as it helps… We did the Factory Reset to find that it didn't work. I was furious! I let it go and then the next morning i find that its working but there was a big black dot on the top left corner and then thats when the watermarks came in to play. I honestly hope someone can help because if not then I'm leaving Apple and going back to Samsung. What a great way to present your products Apple.

Then call Apple Support and tell them you want it replaced. You have free service calls. Let them know that you cannot get to a store, and that the experience so far has been horrible. Ask to talk to a higher-level support person if you feel you are getting the runaround. You paid a lot of money for a device that should work the way you want it to. I can tell you that if I were in your situation, I would be on the phone with Apple until the issue was completely resolved, or until I got a new device.
When I got my very first Apple iPad, I had an issue with it not recognizing the charger all of the time. I took it into the store - an hour and a half away, and they thought they had fixed it. NOT. I called Apple Support and spoke to a very helpful person who had me check everything I had already checked several times, but I understood they needed to go through it with me. It seemed to be OK for awhile, but since the issue was intermittent, the tech called me back the next day to see if it had come back. It had.
So, I gave them my credit card number, they sent me a new iPad overnight with a box to send the defective one back in, and once they received it back, they released the security hold on the card.
It was worth the effort - I still have that iPad 1 and it still works perfectly to this day.

Too many issues with upgrading to OS6 for BB9700 - Going back to OS5

I upgraded to os6 severay days ago. Here are the pros and cons (from a non technical perspective)
PROS:
* New look of the calendar and text .... easier on the eyes with different colors
CONS:
* Don't know why but after only a few days, I have to reset the BB 4 to 5 times today. It just locked up and I had to pull the battery.
* THE KILLER - BB developer decided to force the browser to go to my company's network BES, instead of my cellphone carrier's 3G network. Because the company puts so much restraints and limits on accessing the internet from their network, so many websites are locked and off limit.
In the past w OS5. I had 2 icons of browsers, one for the company's browser and one regular browser. I can go to the advanced options to direct the regular browser to go my cellphone carrier 3g network. It worked so well.
Now with OS6, the developers force users to go through their company's BES network. That is crazy. I pay for the Blackberry and the monthly cell phone and internet data plan, and now I cannot use my phone /internet the way I choose .
If the OS6's developers do not listen to users' complaints on this serious issues, then in the near future as my company allows us to access their email and outlook contacts via droid and Iphone, I will be the first to say good bye to Blackberry.
How many users have the same problem as I?

You are confusing RAM with hard drive space - you appear to have the standard amount of RAM (the memory a computer uses to run apps). 4 GB is fine, but considered a minimum - more would be better.
As for the hard drive space (that is the space you have available on your hard drive to read/write): you need 8 GB minimum to install Mountain lion and, as a general rule, you should maintain a minimum of 10 - 15 GB of empty space at all times - more is better there as well. You can find out how much space you have by highlighting your hard drive icon (Macintosh HD icon on your desktop) and control click on it. In the popup window, choose Get Info. Then post the info showing such as Capacity, Used, and Available.
FWIW, Mountain Lion will continue to show in your Purchases because it is available for you to download again should you need it. You obviously have it installed if it shows that you are running 10.8.3 - which, but the way, is not the latest version, so run Software Update: we are up to 10.8.5.

Had many issues with phone, decided to erase all data and now it won't finish

Okay here's the rundown of my problem on my iPhone 5 32GB. I can't check currently (you'll understand why later) but I believe it was on iOS 7.1.1 as I know it wasn't the absolute most recent version. First off, my lock button is sometimes unresponsive, a hardware issue and I haven't gotten around to getting that fixed yet. Anyways.
Today I wanted to open up my twitter app. The instant it opens, everything freezes. I mean everything: screen, lock button, home button, everything. The screen usually shuts off after 90s if I don't do anything, so the screen went black after this time as everything I did didn't register. Now with the screen being black, still no response from most things. The only thing I can do is activate Siri, though the screen still doesn't turn on, just the sound. She couldn't usually hear me, and if she did it would take her about a minute or so to respond. I can still connect to iTunes (windows 8) though so I did that, but I stopped the initial sync. I tried doing the hold both buttons for 10s thing but that didn't work (might be because the lock button is iffy) so I couldn't start recovery mode.
At this point, I decide the only thing I could do (because no where on Google anyone had a similar problem) is to restore the phone, either to factory or to a backup. When I tried these options in iTunes, it told me that it could not do this while Find my iPhone is active, and to go to settings on my phone to turn it off. I can't open settings with the screen black. I tried going to icloud.com in order to see if I could turn it off from there. The site could find my phone just fine, could make the sound just fine. I could however not remove the device from iCloud unless the phone was turned off (which I again can't do with a black screen).
At this point, I went to the directory with the backup on my computer and copied it to another location. Then in iTunes I did a sync to create a new backup. Now the only thing that was available for me to do was on the web site to erase all data from the phone as it did not require Find my iPhone to be turned off. Feeling out of options, I went through with it and clicked erase. For some reason, this is the time that the screen decides to turn on. The phone showed the apple logo and a progress bar. The bar progressed quickly at first but then slowed as it neared the end. At this current point, it's been at what appears to be 100% for around an hour with nothing happening. The buttons do nothing, my computer can't see the device so iTunes won't do anything.
Is there anything else I could try to do or should I just wait it out. My city does have an apple store which I could go to tomorrow but if I could get my phone running tonight that would be great. Also, if I can't do anything and it doesn't budge, if I take it to the store would it cost a lot to fix or (if necessary) replace? It was a birthday gift two years ago, bought without a plan, and I don't think it's still under warranty.

Ok, I am student so buying a new phone is not possible ;( This experience has turned me off Apple anyway! All I did was click yes to their iTunes upgrade prompt asking me if I want to update....and now I don't have a phone and can't access all my backup etc on my iTunes because it seems the only way to get to it is with another iPhone!?
I can't believe that through the Apple recycling program I could possibly get $50 for this phone because the hardware is perfect but there is no support for this issue...feels like Apple is just trying to force everyone with hacked phone to buy new ones!

Ipad2 and Ipad3, cannot see Ipad2 user - worked ok for months, now broken. Like to know how to upgrade Ipad2 to IOS 5.1.1 (too many issues with IOS 6 - consider too risky)?

I have been using Facetime successfully for months to communicate with my elderly mother in the UK (I am located in Canada)? Today we tried Facetime and we could hear each other but I could not see her. She could see me ok however.
As I wasn't sure whether the problem was with my iPad or hers I made a FaceTime call to my brother-in-law in the UK, this call worked perfectly. I then tried a Factime call with a friend in Canada and it also worked fine.
My mother could see herself in the small window so we know that her camera must be working.
Here are the IOS versions for the four IOS devices used in these tests..
My mothers iPad 2: IOS 4.3.5
Brother-in-law's iPad 3: IOS 5.1.1
Friends iPhone: IOS 6
My iPad 3: IOS 5.1.1
My questions are as follows:
Q1/ Has anyone heard of Facetime problems between newer and older iPads as a result of Apple rolling out IOS 6 recently?
(maybe there have been some changes to the FaceTime servers as part of the IOS 6 rollout?)
Q2/ Is it possible to update my Mothers iPad 2 (IOS 4) to IOS 5.1.1 and do this without using a computer? (I would prefer her to update to 5.1.1 and hold off updating to 6 because of all the issues I read of users having problems with 6, including FaceTime issues)
My mother is in her 70's, and has no computing device other than her iPad. She can just about manage to figure out how to use the basic features of her iPad. Therefore the update process needs to be very easy and straightforward otherwise she is likely to get very confused, very quickly!
Facetime has been brilliant for my mother and keeping in touch with her son, thousands of miles away, we would really like to get Facetime working again.
Can anyone help?

You will not be able to block IOS 6. You can try blocking it with a webfilter or firewall but if the students take these home or connect to another network or iTunes they can get it that way. You will find that the vast majority of all apps will work with 6 or have been updated to work with it by now.

I absolutely hate the galaxy note 3!! I want to switch over back to iphone. There are so many issues with this phone!! There has got to be a way I can do this without spending crap ton of money. Its just ridiculous. I am livid

^^ These are all the issues that I deal with this phone!! I HAVE HAD FOUR OF THE SAME PHONES. RIDICULOUS. They all suck the same!! I want to go back to iphone ASAP. But between the early termination fee and full retail price it is NOT WORTH IT. I am about to just terminate my service altogether. I am sick of being stuck and stressed out over a mobile device!

Ambersikes17, we don't want you to cancel your service. Let's get your phone working properly. Are you using the original charger that came with the phone? If so, does it the phone respond to the charger if it is positioned in a different manner?

Many issues with network of 2 AE and one AEBS

I have a well functioning small WDS network of two airport express (AE) stations, a wireless printer, a G4 iMac and a 12" PB. One of the AE is hooked into the cable modem with an ethernet cable and is set-up as the main base station. The other functions as a remote to extend the network.
I bought an Airport Extreme N base station (AEBS). My intention is to use it as a a file server. I've attached a powered USB hub and two USB hard drives to it. I'd also like it to be available on my existing WDS network, so I needn't change networks everytime I want to access files through the AEBS.
The AEBS has version 7.0. I haven't been able to update the version in Airport Utility, because it kind of hangs up (stays at 0%) and then fails.
Problems:
1) to solve the firmware update issue: Do I need to set-up the AEBS to access the internet first? When I'm on my small WDS network, I can't see the base station, since it is setup as a separate network. When I switch to the AEBS network, obviously I do not have internet access. So how do I update the firmware? What could be the reason for the update error?
2) The AEBS file sharing network was available yesterday, but today I can not access it from my Mac (neither the Mac nor the AEBS was put to sleep or powered down during that time). I was in the process of erasing the whole HD so I could do a fresh wireless backup. The menu bar icon for the airport disc shows my AEBS disk, but I can't connect to it. I enter my password to access the AEBS network and then the connection fails. What could be the cause? Do I need to reset the AEBS everytime? Is there an automatic logoff somehwere I need to disable?
3) I tried manually setting up the AEBS to join my WDS network. I followed all the instructions: i.e. adding the MAC address of the AEBS to my main station setup and indicating the AEBS to participate in a wireless network as a remote relay and adding the main station MAC to the setup. Channels are set-up automatically. DHCP is also automatic. However, I get an eror message when updating it. Basically it will say someting to the effect that the AEBS can no longer be found. What could be the cause of this?
(Airpot Utility worked great when I added my second AE to the WDS network. But when doing exactly the same for the AEBS, I get error messages as above.)

I solved all my problems mentioned above. It took a while to figure out.
First I discovered that connecting the Airport Extreme N Basestation (AEBS) to an existing WDS network gave me continuous errors: I couldn't update the firmware from 7.0 to 7.1.1 etc.
So I reset my Airport Express (Ax) which was previously acting as a remote and I reset the AEBS. I kept the Ax (which was acting as a main station and is attached by ethernet to the cable modem) as is. I set up all 3 near each other.
While keeping the reset Ax and AEBS in default settings, I selected my existing Network in the airport menu icon and then I selected the AEBS in the Airport Utility and was able to update the firmware of the AEBS.
Settings for the Ax acting as a main station: WDS settings: Participate in WDS; allow wireless clients. Internet: I set connection sharing to "share public IP address". DHCP and NAT at default settings. Channel 6. ( I discovered that the main station and the two remotes need to be on the same channel!). Set up as a main station, allow wireless clients and and added Mac addresses of the Ax and AEBS. Updated.
Then I started by adding the AEBS the WDS Network created by the main station: participate in network; allow network to be extended = off. Set up as a WDS remote. Allow wireless clients. Added main station Mac address. Internet connection sharing = off. File sharing enabled. Channel 6. Updated.
Same set-up for the Ax as a remote.
Now I can access my two USB drives wirelessly over the network and each remote has an IP address.
I did a speed test over my wireless connection for internet speed. Results: Download: 9442 kBit/s
Upload: 1006 kBit/s
Answer time: 13ms
So everything is OK!

Major issues with iLife and iChat since upgrade to 8.2

Since upgrading to iTunes 8.2, I have not been able to use iChat, iPhoto or iMovie regardless of whether or not iTunes is running. iChat boots and then crashes. At first, it only affected iChat itself but now its taking down my whole system. iPhoto has dumped half of my pictures and will not reload them even though the files still exist and open in Preview. iMovie also will not load.
I have tried to use the last update of iLife 08 (8.3) to fix any errors iTunes may have caused, but when I did so, I received an error message saying that I should reload iLife. ((I have no idea how I'm supposed to do that - it came pre-installed!)) I don't know what else to try, please help.

I figured it out.
Make certain all your devices are using the same Apple ID for iMessage. I have 2 IDs, and was signed in on different addresses.
You can do this in settings.
