Mappigs my first warehouse

Hello, Gurus!
I use Oracle Warehouse Builder 10.1.0.4.
I have done data source module and storage. Source - Database.
When do deploy, I get 3 errors (except for deploy dimension time the script which I took from \OWB_ORACLE_HOME\owb\misc\time) ORA-00942: table or view does not exist.
When Debbuging mapping - error: Could not find test data for all source and target operators.
Offer to Edit. I do: create a new db link and point Schema, then the error: ORA-01741: illegal zero-length identifier. If you click the Edit Create New Table, simply creates a new table with the lines.
Well, if I did not include modules for the source, ie imported metadata in the storage (in Tables), then create a table in the database and they are empty.

Hello, OutsideEdge!
I created two module: DW(Warehouse Target, Status: Development) and Source(Status: Data Dictionary).
In Module DW created a link to a database and location. And in Source Module created a other link to a database and other location.
Mapping from Source Module(from RDBMS) to target Schema.(not involve flat files)
I created a Runtime Repository and Target Schema using the OWB Runtime Assistant guides.
I registered in both locations Runtime Target Schema.
When do deploy, I get 3 errors (except deploy measurement time) ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
BUT if I did not create modules for the source, and imported metadata in the DW Module (in Tables),then creates an empty table instead of sources in in the Target Schema. If I insert lines into these empty table, then the execute line is transferred to the Target Schema

  • New Warehouse for selected items

we need create a new warehouse and we need it to be assigned to only some of the items. Can this be done by a DTW import or do I have to go into each and every single item and manually add that warehouse?

    Simon,
This can be done via DTW.
    You want the template oItems
    Then the files:
    Items.csv and ItemWarehouseInfo.csv
In the Items.csv file, you only need:
RecordKey (can be numeric "1,2,3" or could be the Item Code)
    ItemCode
Then in the ItemWarehouseInfo.csv file you need these fields:
RecordKey (reference back to the header file with Item Code)
LineNum (starts with zero for the first warehouse, then 1,2,3)
    WarehouseCode (the warehouse code)
You'll want a line per warehouse for each item, in the warehouse file.
This will add the warehouses to the items.
In DTW, set it to Update
    Hope that helps,
    Brad Windecker

  • Default warehouse not setting to only defined warehouse

When you do not auto add new warehouses to all items and have strict warehouse controls on the items. if only one warehouse is defined on an item it is not automatically the default on documents instead it is warehouse 01 even if 01 has been deleted.
If the first warehouse added to an item could be the auto default on documents that would be great.
    Best of luck,

IIRC, it works the same in Leopard and SL. Once you set the options to defaults, it only applies to the current window and any new ones you open for the first time. Any previously opened windows retain their previous settings. The only global way to reset everything to zero is to blow away the hidden .DS_Store files associated with every folder that's been opened. That's left as an exercise.

  • Warehouse wise Profit Center

    Dear Experts,
    Consider the following scenario.
The client has one plant and three warehouses. He manufactures as well as imports the FG. All the deliveries are done from either of the three warehouses. But while doing the sales order he doesn't know from which warehouse he will be dispatching it. The requirement is as follows
    1. If the goods are delivered from the first warehouse the system has to trigger profit center 1 and
    2. if the goods are delivered from either second or third warehouse then the system has to trigger profit center 2.
We cant create more than one plant as it will be a prob at the creation of sales order.
I checked in the SDN forums regarding assigning more than one profit center to one plant or assigning the profit center based on storage location or warehouse but i couldnt get any positive answer.
Pls suggest me as to how to achieve this?
    Thanks
    Suresh

    Suresh-
I don't think you can default a profit center based on warehouse. Profit center in the goods issue document gets defaulted from the sales order. profit center at the time of sales order creation can be substituted based on some criteria like plant, sales office etc but again not sure if we can do it by warehouse.
It would be interesting to know if someone else might know of a different approach.
    Good luck.

  • Warehouse task in status "b" (waiting) will not be activated

    Dear experts,
in the following situation i want to execute a stock removal and the following problem appears:
When the warehouse task for stock removal will be created, the layout-oriented storage process control creates two warehouse tasks:
The first warehouse task is MFS relevant and will be automatically confirmed by the resource (Telegramtraffic).
The second warehouse task (not MFS relevant) stays in status "b" and can´t be activated. But it has to be confirmed manuelly by the user and because of status "b" it´s not possible for the user to confirm the warehouse task.
Why will the second warehouse task not be activated? Do someone know any hints to clear this situation?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Rahul,
I created each Branch as a profit Centre and the filed name is OPRC.PrcCode . If the user at a particular branch logged in SAP by using his ID and when he is adding a SO the profit centres list should appear in Profit centre filed.
And is there any provision to set the profit centre  (OPRC.Code) as default for the user at a branch by taking document no.series or location ID or User ID as consideration in the FMS query.
    Thanks

  • Data warehouse problem plz help

hi, i got a problem in making my first warehouse
    first of all
i have many operational databases, and i want to make a warehouse to get the data of these db's to save them according to time...
and how i connect a vb .net application to retrieve data and queries from the data warehouse
is this possible and can any one help pleaaaaaaaassssssse

Because of this our server gets shut down automatically No. Just because connection pool got suspended, server should not go down. There is any other issue which you did not notice. For Data Source to function properly, make sure that intial and maximum connections limit has been set appropriately (preferably both should be equal) and make sure that database is up and running always and has that many connections open. Check with the DBA for DB connection limit settings.
Raise a SR with support if you are not able to figure out the exact issue.

  • Opportunistic Cross Docking Warehouse Task with status "B" - Waiting -

    Hi All,
Does anyone have any experience with Opportunistic Cross Docking using SAP EWM 7.1?  We have successfully executed OCD and EWM creates a warehouse task to move goods directly from GR to GI Zones but somehow the task is marked as waiting (B) and can't be confirmed through RFUI or using the GUI.  Also this task is not assigned to a Warehouse order.
    Looking forward to your inputs.
    Thanks.

  • HU traceability is missing when HU unpacked(Transaction LM22).

    Hi SAP Gurus,
I have a requirement to know details of Handling unit  like HU unpacked, material, batch ,qty when unpack using LM22 and packing using LM19.
Firstly, Warehouse Operators will use only LM22 and LM19 transactions for Unpacking/Packing of Handling units.
When I unpack Qty the Qty unpacked is moving to Partner SLOC for HU SLOC and material Document is created.
Hence identify for HU is loosing(No traceability).
When I pack the qty and I am not able to find  Identify for HU from which Hu the qty is unpacked from.
hich iAs per client requirement..need to find an Original Handling unit from New handling unit is created  and send the same information  to Legacy system.
Your inputs like Userexits, BADI'S in through which i can establish HU traceability using Mobile transactions LM22,LM19 is most helpful.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Hari Challa!
Thaks a lot for your help, but I need to use this transaction becouse I am working with a warehouse that is management with RF system and in this case they need to use this transaction.
I Know how to unpack in an Outbound delivery, and Inbound delivery and using the HU02 transaction. But I need this one.
    Thanks a lot!
Does any one know any think about this transaction? LM22?

  • Staging for production

    Hi All,
i would like to know the difference between automatiac staging and manual staging for production operation. What config steps are different in both scenarios?
i would like to know what settings are required in control cycle and also the usage of 100 storage type(standard).
pls throw some light on this scenario
    Thanks

    Hi,
From my point of view, whatever automatically or manually staging for production, the following customizing you have to do in SAP system. In SAP system call it as Replenishment Control:
    Replenishment Control Customizing
    Process Flow
The internal stock transfer process is at the core of all the different types of replenishment control covered in this lesson. Generally, partial stocks are moved from one storage type to another within a warehouse number. As of SAP R/3 4.6C, you can use replenishment control to supply both fixed storage bins and bins in storage types with random storage. The following programs are available in
    the SAP ECC standard system:
    1. Report RLLNACH1 for fixed bin replenishment based on bin stock only
    2. Report RLLNACH2 for fixed bin replenishment based on bin stock and the current requirements in outbound deliveries
    3. Report RLLNACH4 for replenishment in storage types with random storage
To use these programs, you first have to add some storage type specific fields in the second Warehouse Management view of the material masters of all of the affected materials. For delivery-related control, you have to enter a replenishment quantity. For replenishment control based on the bin stock alone, you have to enter a minimum and a maximum quantity (for fixed bin materials, the maximum quantity is often already specified for the quantity-based capacity check and this quantity can be used by replenishment control as well).
As well as maintaining the master data, it is also useful to create at least one new Warehouse  anagement movement type for use in replenishment control. In the standard system there is already a warehouse management movement type, 320, created for replenishment. You can use movement type 319 (replenishment for production) as a template and change some of the details. In the copy, remove
interim storage type 100, the indicator for dynamic storage bin creation, the requirement type, and the GR data in quant indicator. Assign this new movement type to the storage type that needs replenishing in the Define Stock Transfers and Replenishment Control table. This table is in Customizing under Logistics Execution u2192 Warehouse Management u2192 Activities u2192 Transfers u2192 Define Stock Transfers and Replenishment Control.
If you want to make sure that the reserve storage type is always found as the picking storage type for replenishment stock transfers, you can use the Reference storage type search indicator. You assign this indicator, which creates links between Warehouse Management movement types and storage types, to your new replenishment movement type. Unlike many other indicators, you do not have to
define the indicator in a table in advance, you simply enter a numerical value between one and three digits in the Ref.Stor.Type Search field in master record of the the movement type of your choice. You then enter this value in a new entry in the storage type search table (in the Reference Storage Type Search field), with the reserve storage type in first position in the search sequence. If a stock transfer transfer order is created, controlled by your new replenishment type, the system determines this exact table entry on the basis of the indicator and removes the required quantity from the reserve storage type.
Generally, a storage type indicator for stock removal is set for the material that is picked and used for the replenishment. The indicator is set to the fixed bin storage type in the first Warehouse Management view. You can enter an indicator for the reserve storage type in the Stock placement field. The Reference
storage type search indicator separates a “normal” stock removal process from a replenishment stock transfer during the search for a storage type for stock removal.
    Good day

  • Nested Group Problem

    SSRS 2008 R2
I have a reported with 2 nested groups.
    Top Level - Product Category
    Second Level - Warehouse
When the report runs it should only show the Product Category groups.
When the + is clicked next to Product Category it should show the Warehouse groups for that Product Category.
When the + is clicked next to Warehouse it should show the details for that warehouse.
For some reason when I initially run the report I see the first Product Category group and then one line of the details from each of that Product Category's Warehouse. I don't see the Warehouse group at all. I then see the second Product Category group and
one line of the details from each of it's warehouses and so on.
    + Product Category 1
       detail line for first warehouse
       detail line for second warehouse
    + Product Category 2
       detail line for first warehouse
       detail line for second warehouse
If I click the + next to Product Category I see the Warehouse Groups below it and the detail lines disappear. Another words it looks correct for that Product Group. I can then click on the + by the Warehouse and see its details just like I should.
Another words I can expand it to look like the following:
    - Product Category 1
       - Warehouse 1
            details line for first warehouse
       + Warehouse 2
       + Warehouse 3
    + Product Category 2
       detail line for first warehouse
       detail line for second warehouse
    What could be causing this?
    Thanks,
    Scott

I got my answer from Google.
It turns out that I needed to set my visability in the group section instead of the row section.

  • Maintain number range interval "" for inventory document --help!

    Dear all,
I running the FM - L_INV_DOC_CREATE for creating the physical inventory doc for WM ( warehose management ) level. But i get this error -> Maintain number range interval "" for inventory document. If i try to create it using the t-code  LI01N,everything goes smoothly. Anybody haf any idea how to solve this? thank you.

1.Did u go into Number ranges for WM?
    Yes
2.Did u click on assignment & number ranges not on Number range intervals
    Yes
3.Di du cahnge it to 02 for all?.
Yes on first warehouse 111 all changed to 02 and on warehouse G02 just on TR and TO changed to 02
4.Did u select NR intervals? and give the number range?
    Yes
    5.Did u transport the intervals?
No, as I am working on DEV practice client. Dont need to transport.
6.Did assign the number rabges to ur Warehouse?
I assigned No. 2 to warehouse, not number range, can u ellaborate more on number range assignment.
I created migo for same material with different storage location and material and accounting documents are created. Even the number ranges are working on another warehouse created by colleague, but its not working on my warehouse and as mentioned earlier this is Dev practice client. No need to transport.

  • Import Default Bin Location Using OITW - ItemWarehouseInfo.xlt

I am trying to import default bin locations in SAP B1 v9.00.058 PL.06.
I created a new OITW template using the Data Transfer Workbench, and then insert my data. I am only using two collumns from this template since I just want to specify the Default BIN for every item code. See attached for the original template as well as a test import file.
I followed the following steps for importing this data in the DTW
    1. Master Data
    2. Update Existing
    3. Inventory - Item Master Data
    4. Choose update file (See attached Test.txt), next to "ItemWarehouseInfo"
    5. Run Update
When running the import I get an error message Update Failed "1470000335 Bin location not enabled for warehouse "Warehouse name"
The strange thing for me is that this error is probably quite logical, since my update file only specifies the Item Code and the Default Bin Location, how will SAP know which warehouse this Bin Location is to be configured for.
I would assume that it should be possible to specify a combination of the ItemCode and WarehouseCode when importing a default Bin Location, but the default OITW template, only uses the ItemCode as it's ParentKey.
Any suggestions? We have about several thousands of bin locations to be updated so the DTW is probably our only alternative?

    Hi,
I have tried the above solution and it is not working. The DTW tries to set the Default BIN Locations for the first warehouse in the OWHS table. In our case this specific warehouse does not have Bin Locations enabled. We have several warehouses in the OWHS table and we want to import bin locations for specific warehouses. In our case it is the warehouse in Line 5 in the OWHS table.
We have tried to set the linenum field to 5 in the OITW import template but DTW still tries to import the bin locations to the same (first) warehouse.

  • The signal of carrier vodafone and idea fluctuates and call get intermittent disrupted voice what to do?

Call getting disconnected and voice to is disrupted why?

    Parkash,
You better rely on nokia website repair option. UPS tracking is only one sided job, and once they delivered it to nokia service centre, their job is done.
Now it is very confusing, they have 2 ware house, according to their manager. All phones which go for repair, get delivered to 1st warehouse, where it stays for couple of day, they open it and then send it to 2nd warehouse which is proper repair centre.
Once your phone is repaird, you will get e-mail from nokia that your phone is ready for pick up from local service centre (just ignore that e-mail).
This e-mail is sent to you when your phone is ready in 2nd ware house (repair centre), and it may take 3-7 days after that to get delivered to you. It has to go to first warehouse, and they dispatch it 1-3 days after that e-mail.
I think if nokia repair service is showing that it is being repaired, than its still in their repair house. Mine one took 2 weeks and 4 days before I get e-mail that it is ready for pick up.
It took another 2 weeks to track it, as they did not provide my contact number to UPS whereas UPS tried on 3 ocassions to deliver it to me and (as I live in intercom controlled flats) so they could not even leave notice.
Finally complaining to Nokia thourgh their nokia care centre helpline, speaking to their manager and getting time fram of 24-48 hours, nothing happend. Got call in 72 hours from UK to give me new tracking number and I was told that UPS tried to contact you.
Anyhow after getting in touch with UPS and get it delieved to my office I noticed that there was no phone number....
There you go, everthing get lost in the system, especially when they are big corporate giant companies.
Best of luck mate. Keep us updated with the progress.
