Mapping of recursive item

Component I am working on consists of two Views.
One recursive structure is shared by both of them.
Fist View fills the structure and second one displays the structure data in accordance with different filters.
I defined global structure in the Component context and created identical one through mapping manipulation between component and View contexts for each of the iViews.
I didn’t succeed to map recursive item.
How can I map recursive item of the Component context to the one of the View Context?

Anna,
<i>I didn’t succeed to map recursive item.</i>
Could you provide more details? What exactly goes wrong? Does your WD application fail to compile / build? Does it behave incorrectly at runtime? How does it manifest symptoms?
I know that there were problems with recursive node mapping between components before SP9. Probably the same error happens for mapping inside single component.

  • Message Mapping of Recursive Source Structure?

    Hello,
    a mapping needs to be implemented from a custom source structure to an IDoc. An XSD has been provided for the source structures which contains recursive elements --> an element of a specific type contains another element with the same type.
    If I import the XSD then the type of the recursive element is displayed in "red", but I still can expand it. If I want to use the source structure in the message mapping I cannot expand the recursive elements anymore. Does anyone of you have an idea how to handle this? I want to avoid XSLT if possible.
    Thank you!

    Hi again Florian,
    please have a look at [Structure Overview in Message Mappings on SAP help|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi71/helpdata/en/e3/92be7c6cd34fd485c967144e302fb6/content.htm]. There is a paragraph on Recursive Structures:
    ...It is possible to map these elements in the mapping editor in a rudimentary fashion by using the context menu to expand a specific number of subnodes and then use them in target-field mappings...
    That works for both source and target message.

  • Message Mapping for multiple item levels

    Hi,
    My query is regarding message mapping

      -- <name>d</name>
    How I can map the '<no>' field to target '<no>' field to repeat value until to second sub item level occurance complete ?
    Thank you
    Sateesh

    Hi Sateesh,
    Please see the solution below.
    The are 2 contect changes you need to do on field level. Right click and go to context and select your context you need.
    Context on ITEMS - Should be on Root Structure(In my mapping it is MT_Multiple_Item_Level_Source)
    Context on Name - Should be on Item (The first Item Tag)
    Good Luck.

  • Mapping display only item to three output parameters from a procedure?

    Hi all
    I have a procedure with three output parameters, which I would like to map the three output parameters to three display only items on the page.
    there is a page process called the procedure, which output statement1,statement2,statement3 parameters.
    I have three items on the page which I would like to map them to the three parameters respectively,
    how can I achieve this?
    thanks

    Rajesh,
    please check if this following proposal could serve you.
    Define the Query with mode FixedQueryWithOutput. In the package define a ref cursor as IN OUT parameter. To get your 3 values back, open the cursor in your procedure like "Select val1, val2, val3 from dual". Then the values should get into your query.
    Here is an example how this could be defined.
    Package:
    type return_cur IS ref CURSOR;
    Procedure:
    PROCEDURE myProc(myReturnCur IN OUT return_cur) ...
    OPEN myReturnCur FOR SELECT val1, val2, val3  FROM dual;
    Query:
    DECLARE
      MYRETURNCUR myPackage.return_cur;
    BEGIN
      myPackage.myProc(
        MYRETURNCUR => ?
    END;
    Good luck.

  • Mapping Multiple line item. Target node generation problem

    Hi,
    I am trying to create a mapping to handle multiline items.
    my source structure is
    ns0:OrderCreate>
    <ns0:Header>
    <ns0:OrderCreateBody>
         -<ns0:OrderCreateProperties>
         -<ns0:PurchaseOrderNumber>
            -<ns0:OrderCreatePartners>
         -<ns0:OrderCreateDetails>
                   --<ns0:OrderCreateProductLineItem>
           -</ns0:OrderCreateDetails>
    </ns0:OrderCreateBody>
    </ns0:OrderCreate>
    Here    <ns0:OrderCreateProductLineItem> is the node which will occure multiple time in new requirment (which is mapped to E1EDP01).
    my target structure is
    <ORDERS05>
    <IDOC>
       <EDI_DC40>
       <E1EDK01>
       <E1EDK14>
       <E1EDK05>
       <E1EDK02>
       <E1EDKA1>
       <E1EDKT1>
       <E1EDK36>
       <E1EDP01>
    - - POSEX
    - - MENGE
    - - MENEE
    - - <E1EDP02>
    - - <E1EDP19>
    - - <E1EDP35>
    Currently for each line item ( <ns0:OrderCreateProductLineItem>) target structure contains one <E1EDP01> segment (having two <E1EDP02> and one <E1EDP19> subnode ).
    In Multiline Scenario for each occurance of node <ns0:OrderCreateProductLineItem> target structure should have one <E1EDP01> segment (having two <E1EDP02> and one <E1EDP19> subnode for every line item ).
    For example if source is ::
    ns0:OrderCreate>
    <ns0:Header>
    <ns0:OrderCreateBody>
         -  <ns0:OrderCreateProperties>
         -  <ns0:PurchaseOrderNumber>
            -  <ns0:OrderCreatePartners>
         -  <ns0:OrderCreateDetails>
                  - -  <ns0:OrderCreateProductLineItem>
                                  - -  <ns0:OrderCreateProductLineItem>
                                  - -  <ns0:OrderCreateProductLineItem>
           </ns0:OrderCreateDetails>
    </ns0:OrderCreateBody>
    Then target should be ::
    <ORDERS05>
    <IDOC>
       <EDI_DC40>
       <E1EDK01>
       <E1EDP01>
                  - - POSEX
                  - - <E1EDP02>
                  - - <E1EDP02>
                 - - <E1EDP19>
       <E1EDP01>
                  - - POSEX
                  - - <E1EDP02>
                  - - <E1EDP02>
                 - - <E1EDP19>
        <E1EDP01>
                  - - POSEX
                  - - <E1EDP02>
                  - - <E1EDP02>
                 - - <E1EDP19>
    How to acheive this mapping please suggest ?
    Edited by: gumshu on Oct 4, 2011 2:26 AM

    Hello,
    The details you have provided are incomplete, e.g where do you get
    - - POSEX
    - - <E1EDP02>
    - - <E1EDP02>
    - - <E1EDP19>
    But if you want  E1EDP01 to appear multiple times, you can use this mapping
    OrderCreateProductLineItem -> removeContext -> E1EDP01
    Hope this helps,
    Mark

  • Map BID line item to PO line item

    I have to find out  which bid line item , the particular PO line item corresponds to.
    Suppose we have a Bid with multiple line item and we have created multiple POs from that bid, I have to find this link , between the particular line item of purchase order and the bid line item ,
    I tried to look in terms of guid's but the PO line items guid's does not map with those of Bid line item guids.
    Any inputs anybody ?
    -With Thanks
    Alok Pathak

    Hello Alok,
    You can find info from PO -> QUOT -> BIDINV via SRC_GUID field which has original item GUID. Try following function module.
    1. FM BBP_PD_PO_GETDETAIL
    E_ITEM-SRC_GUID  <- Get QUIT item GUID
    2. BBP_PD_QUOT_ITEM_GETDETAIL
    ES_ITEM-SRC_GUID <- Get BIDINV item GUID
    3. BBP_PD_BID_ITEM_GETDETAIL
    ES_ITEM <- Get BIDINV item information.

    I want know if this fecitity of blocking duplicate entry of component (other than header component) is available what is the effect on rounting?
    thanking you

    Hi Srinivas
    I don't think there is any standard check here.
    Try BADI: BOM_EXIT. You will need ABAPer.

  • LSMW - ME21 How to map multiple line items

    Hi all,
    I am using LSMW tool with batch input recording technique to create POs via ME21. I have defined source structures as HEAD with POSI as its subordianted structure. This settings worked perfectly for one single item line. However, it created a new transaction for each line item in the file. I did some searches in this forum and I noticed that someone suggested to dynamically set the line positon at the processing points. I tried a few times and could not get it work. Anyone knows how to map multiple items in LSMW, please help.
    Here is part of my recording:
    EKPO-EMATN(01)                 000995NM
    EKPO-MENGE(01)                                 1      RM06E-EEIND(01)                2006.04.27             EKPO-NETPR(01)                             10         EKPO-WERKS(01)                 0001                   EKPO-LGORT(01)                 0001
    My input file looks like this:

    Thanks!

    Hi
    If you have used a b.i. recording, all abap code is inserted in std table /SAPDMC/LSGBDC.
    The program to generate the B.I. session is automatically created when you run "Create Batch Input Session" step.
    What means the numbers of items you can insert depend on the totals of items you have used while creating your b.i. recording:
    If you have simulated to insert only one item, you'll be able to insert only one item in your project.
    So you should simulate to insert severals items not only one, but I think it should be better you use a std method to create PO by LSMW:
    - Std B.I: object 0085, method 0001 (RM06EEI0);
    - BAPI   : object BUS2012, method CREATEFROMDATA1

  • Mapping Hearder and Item table

    Hi Guys,
    I have two internal tables one contain header data with over 20 fields and other item with 4 fields.
    I want to map 2 fields of item table into header table appending into header, but I also want the other fields from header table also to be in the new enteries. How can I do that or is there any way out??
    TIA,
    Nitin

    Hi,
    The 2 tables refer to the same object(assume some document no) ,then header & item will have a field representing the same document number.
    Then you can create another internal table with all the needed fields.
    while looping data from header table ,read item table with reference to same document (as the header record  documnet). & pass values of that table to new internal table.also pass values of header table to new table. Then append records in new table.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

  • Drive Map GPO and Item-Level targeting using DNS Computer Name not working as expected

    I've run into a snag trying to move from logon script based drive mappings, to a GPO based Drive map solution and I'm hoping somebody can shed some light on the problem that I am seeing.  We started down the GPO based drive mappings because we have
    a handful of Windows 8 client computers which don't run the logon script based drive mappings.
    I put together a basic Drive Maps GPO.   I'm mapping 3 drives, I've linked the GPO to a computer container OU for testing and everything is working just fine.  I have 3 different Windows 8 client PC, all domain joined, and all 3 run the GPO as
    expected.
    The problem is when I attempt to apply Item-level targeting.   I've found that if I define item-level targeting to use the NetBIOS name of the computer, I can either apply the GPO at an individual computer level, or I can exclude the GPO for that individual
    computer by toggling between IS and IS NOT.   However, when I choose to define the computer name by choosing the DNS option, the GPO does not apply as expected.
    So, if I say "the DNS computer name is example1.mydomain.com" and I apply the GPO, it applies to example1, example2 and example3.   And if I instead say, "the DNS computer name is not example1.mydomain.com", then it doesn't apply
    to example1, example2 or example3.     Obviously, I would expect it to apply or not apply only to example1.mydomain.com.
    If instead, I say "the NetBIOS computer name is example1", and apply the GPO, then example1 gets it, and example2 and example3 do not.   If I say, "the netBIOS name is not example 1", then example1 does NOT get the drive mapping,
    but example 2 and example3 do.   < This is exactly what I want and I can continue to just use NetBIOS names...but I don't understand why DNS isn't working in the same manner.
    My clients are all using DHCP and using domain controllers for DNS.   All 3 machines are in the mydomain.com namespace.  The mydomain.com namespace is an active directory integrated zone.   We have reverse zones in place for the dns records.
     I can ping the machines from the DC's as well as the machines themselves.  I can run nslookup and resolve the computer name for each host using the FQDN.  I can also run a ping -a IP_ADDY and get the FQDN back.  The DC's themselves are
    running Server 2008 R2.   I honestly don't see any issues from a name resolution standpoint on the network itself.
    So, any suggestions as to why defining the shortened NetBIOS name works just fine, but using DNS with a FQDN does not?   (I've tried the DNS name using just the name, the name., as well as name.mydomain.com and name.mydomain.com.)

    And here is the result from a Windows 7 host,  which is named d2-7-user1...thus it should map the T drive and in fact does;

  • Create multiple line item from one line item in BizTalk mapping

    Hi,
    In one of our new requirement we need to create 3 line items for every line item we are receiving with same value but in the below format.
    Sample Input:
    <EmpId>1234</EmpId><Name>ABCD></Name><Dept>YYY</Dept><Year>2014</Year><Desc1>D1</Desc1><Desc2>D2</Desc2><Desc3>D3</Desc3><Valid>Yes</Valid>
    Sample Output in Flatfile:
    1234,ABCD,,,D1,Yes
    1234,ABCD,YYY,,D2,Yes
    1234,ABCD,YYY,2014,D3,Yes
    Can you Pls help me in creating the mapping in above format.
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,

    Elango,
    Before I explain about the solution, make sure when you give inputs/requirement in forums for us to help you, pay attention.
    The input instance you have shown
    Doesn’t have a root element
    Has a typo - <Name>ABCD></Name> -Element has invalid “>” character.
    This makes us to spend more time in cleansing your input and then find out solution.
    We are here to help you, so help us to help you better.
    Anyway, coming to the solution
    You have to create map with a structure similar to the below shown image:
    Here destination schema is a flat file schema with comma-delimited fields.
    If you look into the destination schema, it look similar to your input schema, but there is just one “Desc” field instead of “Desc1”, “Desc2”, “Desc3” in your source schema. In destination, the
    record has to repeat with same values for rest of the fields. And for “Desc” in destination schema will have corresponding index value of “Desc1” or “Desc2” or “Desc3” from source. i.e. first node of destination will have value of “Desc1” from source to “Desc”
    field in destination, second node of destination will have value of “Desc2” from source to “Desc” field in destination and third node of destination will have value of “Desc3” from source to “Desc” field in destination.
    I use XSLT in the map, with recursive template which will repeat for 3 times. I have given comment in the XSLT for your benefit.
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-16"?>
    <xsl:stylesheet xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" xmlns:msxsl="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:xslt" xmlns:var="http://schemas.microsoft.com/BizTalk/2003/var" exclude-result-prefixes="msxsl var" version="1.0">
    <xsl:output omit-xml-declaration="yes" method="xml" version="1.0" />
    <xsl:template match="/">
    <xsl:apply-templates select="/Root" />
    </xsl:template>
    <xsl:template match="/Root">
    <Record>
    <!--Call the template with index and counter of 3. There times as you wanted for every item-->
    <xsl:call-template name="LintItemTemp">
    <xsl:with-param name="i">1</xsl:with-param>
    <xsl:with-param name="count">3</xsl:with-param>
    </xsl:call-template>
    </Record>
    </xsl:template>
    <xsl:template name="LintItemTemp">
    <xsl:param name="i" />
    <xsl:param name="count" />
    <Details>
    <EmpId>
    <xsl:value-of select="EmpId/text()" />
    </EmpId>
    <Name>
    <xsl:value-of select="Name/text()" />
    </Name>
    <Dept>
    <xsl:value-of select="Dept/text()" />
    </Dept>
    <Year>
    <xsl:value-of select="Year/text()" />
    </Year>
    <!--as in your output instance, Lineitem1 will have value of Desc1-->
    <xsl:if test ="($i =1)">
    <Desc>
    <xsl:value-of select="Desc1/text()" />
    </Desc>
    </xsl:if>
    <!--as in your output instance, Lineitem2 will have value of Desc3-->
    <xsl:if test ="($i =2)">
    <Desc>
    <xsl:value-of select="Desc2/text()" />
    </Desc>
    </xsl:if>
    <!--as in your output instance, Lineitem3 will have value of Desc3-->
    <xsl:if test ="($i =3)">
    <Desc>
    <xsl:value-of select="Desc3/text()" />
    </Desc>
    </xsl:if>
    <Valid>
    <xsl:value-of select="Valid/text()" />
    </Valid>
    <xsl:value-of select="./text()" />
    </Details>
    <!--Recursive template, i.e. calling the template again for 3 times as your requirement-->
    <xsl:if test="$i &lt; $count">
    <xsl:call-template name="LintItemTemp">
    <xsl:with-param name="i">
    <xsl:value-of select="$i + 1"/>
    </xsl:with-param>
    <xsl:with-param name="count">
    <xsl:value-of select="$count"/>
    </xsl:with-param>
    </xsl:call-template>
    </xsl:if>
    </xsl:template>
    </xsl:stylesheet>
    So the input and output will look like the below:
    You can change the schema/XSLT and its corresponding namespaces as you want.
    When the above shown output is send to a custom-pipeline with flat file assembler in send port will output the above shown output to the flat-file structure as you wanted. Again, I repeat you
    to use flat-file file schema with comma-delimited fields as the destination schema in the above shown map for you to get the flat-file output as you needed.

  • How to avoid Line Items(fields) in BAPI mapping.

    Hi
    Does any body help me for mapping between header and line items in BAPI..
    my scenario is filerfcmail(wokflow)!
    File is CSV based :
    (ex: 001150,,1123,JERM,08122006,,,
         ,,,ANN,,01082006,
    If you look at example csv file , there is some fields mixed with header and line items. But in RFC header can be 1 to 1 and line item should be 0 to Unbound.
    Now my problem is if I sent above example csv file as source :
    The payload coming like this(sxmb_moni) :
    </HEADERDATA>
    - <GLACCOUNTDATA>
    - <item>
      <COSTCENTER />
      <PROFIT_CTR />
      </item>
    - <item>
      <GL_ACCOUNT>738100</GL_ACCOUNT>
      <ITEM_AMOUNT>60000</ITEM_AMOUNT>
      <COMP_CODE>001150</COMP_CODE>
      <ITEM_TEXT>*777-8030-861</ITEM_TEXT>
      <COSTCENTER>7320</COSTCENTER>
      <PROFIT_CTR>7320</PROFIT_CTR>
      <ALLOC_NMBR />
      </item>
    - <item>
      <GL_ACCOUNT>738100</GL_ACCOUNT>
      <ITEM_AMOUNT>40000</ITEM_AMOUNT>
      <COMP_CODE>001151</COMP_CODE>
      <ITEM_TEXT>*777-8030-861</ITEM_TEXT>
      <COSTCENTER>6010</COSTCENTER>
      <PROFIT_CTR>6010</PROFIT_CTR>
      <ALLOC_NMBR />
      </item>
      <item />
      </GLACCOUNTDATA>
    You can find there is one more item coming after headerdata with null values. It means map reading first line and one by one , if any field found in rows which belogs to GLAccount(Line item), then it writing one more item after headerdata with that fields only.
    Remainig GLAccount data coming as per map after the item .
    Can you tell me how to avoid extra line items.
    Thanks,
    Sankar

    Yes, It exist..
    I cross checked ..with out givig fileds and giving some fields...its writing another items in after headerdata tag.
    hope you understand , what my problem..
    See: GLACCOUNTDATA under subnode
          item is 0 to unbound in BAPI side, because of this its reading all rows , and if find any field which belongs to GLAccount , then it writing another item tag after headerr data.
    Thnaks,
    Sankar

  • Customer Open Items Mapping

    Hi gurus,
    We're currently creating a new periodic statement specific for a new company code. I'm new to this so I'd like to ask your helping in mapping the open items per customer account.
    What we would like to map in our periodic statement are the following:
    Document Number:
    Doc Date:
    Due Date:
    Amount:
    I know that this can be retrieve in FBL5N however the table is structured. so I can't normally access it in se16.
    I hope you could help us.
    thanks,
    john

    You have to collect the data from BSID and BSAD tables
    BSID-Open items remians here
    BSAD-Cleared items remains here
    If you want to execute the report on back dated then you have to use clearing date to fetch the items from BSAD.

  • Mapping between Sales Order-Schedule-Line and Delivery-item

    Hi together,
    I want to extend the Datasource 2LIS_12_VCITM (Delivery-number, -item, Order-number,-item is available) by Sales Order Schedule Line.
    Could not find any ERP table (VBEP and LIPS allow a mapping only on item level) for the mapping between Sales Order Schedule Line and Delivery item yet. The use of the extractor 2LIS_12_VCSCL for the extention (e.g. infoset) afterwards is no option.
    Thanks for your help in advance!!
    Assign full points!!

    Hi Reddy,
    thanks for your answer.
    I know that I have to add this field.. but the problem is, how to fill this field. I don't know how to map the delivery-item with the schedule line-item.
