Mapping question using @OneToOne @PrimaryKeyJoinColumn

I am trying to create a simple web application to maintain a ContractAssignment table.
Created an EJB from this table with @Id of contractNumber.
public class ContractAssignment .....
@Id
@Column(name = "CONTRACT_NUMBER",
nullable = false,updatable=false)
private String contractNumber;
@OneToOne @PrimaryKeyJoinColumn
private Contract contractInfo;
I need contract info that exists in multiple tables so I created a view called Contract.
Created an EJB for this view with @Id of contractNumber.
public class Contract ......
@Id
@Column(name="CONTRACT_NUMBER", nullable = false,updatable=false)
private String contractNumber;
I will only be maintaining the ContractAssignment EJB.
The Contract EJB will NOT be maintained by this app.
It will only be used to obtain valid contract numbers that can be used in ContractAssignment maintenance.
It will also be used to display contract information when maintaining the ContractAssignment.
Is this the right way to map the relationship?
Another question. I've created a search page to look up ContractAssignments.
For some reason, the SQL generated is joining the table to itself.
Not sure if this is because of incorrect mapping (described above).
SQL that was generated:
SELECT t0.CONTRACT_NUMBER, t0.DESCRIPTION, t0.CONTRACT_START_DATE, t0.IMS_STATUS
FROM CONTRACT_ASSIGNMENT t0,
CONTRACT_ASSIGNMENT t1
WHERE (CONTRACT_NUMBER = ?)
     bind => [1234]
from the following OQL:
select o from ContractUserAssignment o where ocontractNumber like :contractNumber
What is causing the incorrect join?
Thank you for any help.

All - Thanks much.. Here is my requirement that is no solved by regular mapping
<Root>
<Recordset>
  <Ordheader>
    <ord>
    <ord_type>
  </Ordheader>
   <Ord_line>
     <ord>
     <Linnum>
   </Ord_line>

    <ord_type>
  </Ordheader>
   <Ord_line>
     <ord>
     <Linnum>
   </Ord_line>
</Recordset>
<Root>
As you see above, each recordset has order transaction. One Root message can contain multiple of these. So, when I map to the IDOC, I want to filter out any ord_type <> XX.
If I use regular graphical map, it only looks at first recordset and accepts all or rejects all.
I need to use UDF. In the UDF, what comes in as input ? Resultset is output -correct ? Now how do I usse graphical mapping with UDF to generate the correct target info

    Hi,
    I have a message with multiple occuring nodes (i.e. one message with multiple orders (header + detail)) that I need to map to a idoc. I need to filter out of the source based on order type (in header) from creating an idoc.. How do I do it using user defined function + message mappping ?

  • Field mapping problem using EntityManager.refresh(...) and @SecondaryTable

    I am experiencing an exception indicating a missing mapping for a field. My problem is that I have a mapping! I suspect the problem has something to do with the fact the field in question is also the @PrimaryKeyJoinColumn. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug in the refresh() method code since the find() method works with no problem? Thanks in advance.

    What database are you using? My guess is that the database you are using returns field names in Uppercase. While the database may not be case sensitive, most databases will convert the field names to either all upper or lower case when returning the metadata - which associates the fields to the values. In this case, it is looking for a value for "issue_id" in the returned results, when I suspect that the database returned a value for "ISSUE_ID". Try having your column names match what the database will return and see if you still get problems.
    The other part to this problem is that it does not appear mapped correctly. The primarykeyJoincolumn isn't using primary key fields (CUSIP_nbr is specified as the id), and you have a join table also using the "issue_id" field, so it really should be the id. Either way, the Secondary table is specifying f_ISSUE.issue_id to be a foreign key to f_COUPON_INFO.issue_id, and so the getFkIssueID annotation should be marked insertable=true, updateable =true and the annotation on getIssueID marked insertable=false, updatable=false,since it is set through the f_COUPON_INFO.issue_id field. Fixing this will also likely resolve the issue - the error says it can't find a mapping for the f_COUPON_INFO.issue_id but from looking at the code, what I believe it means is that it can't find a writable mapping. Reading this over again, it looks very confusing but I dont know if I can explain it much better. The field f_COUPON_INFO needs to be writeable and set by the application because you have marked it as controlling the field in f_ISSUE. The field in f_ISSUE needs to be read only, because the value is set/controlled by the value in f_COUPON_INFO.
    Best Regards,
    Chris

  • ABAP Mapping Questions

    Hi,
    I am trying to get my head around ABAP mappings and have a few questions.
    In the below code sample which I find in every example and blog it talks about specific steps -
    *initialize iXML, * create iXML factory object, * create streamfactory object, * create input stream object, * initialize the input xml document, * parse the input xml document
    In these steps the code is always exactly the same so my question is are these just standard steps that are implemented every single time an abap mapping is used and hence only standard lines that never have to be changed or will they be different depending on the mapping.
    I am trying to work out where I will begin my coding.
    So would somebody be so kind as to give me a brief explanation of the above mentioned steps.
    Thank you
    METHOD if_mapping~execute.
    * initialize iXML
      TYPE-POOLS: ixml.
      CLASS cl_ixml DEFINITION LOAD.
    * create iXML factory object
      DATA: ixmlfactory TYPE REF TO if_ixml.
      ixmlfactory = cl_ixml=>create( ).
    * create streamfactory object
      DATA: streamfactory TYPE REF TO
      if_ixml_stream_factory.
      streamfactory = ixmlfactory->create_stream_factory( ).
    * create input stream object
      DATA: istream TYPE REF TO if_ixml_istream.
      istream = streamfactory->create_istream_xstring( source ).
    * initialize the input xml document
      DATA: idocument TYPE REF TO if_ixml_document.
      idocument = ixmlfactory->create_document( ).
    * parse the input xml document
      DATA: iparser TYPE REF TO if_ixml_parser.
      iparser = ixmlfactory->create_parser(
      stream_factory = streamfactory
      istream = istream
      document = idocument ).
      iparser->parse( ).

    Hi,
         The above lines you mentioned deal with initialization of the iXML parser for parsing through the XML payload, so they would remain the same for all mapping where you are parsing the input payload.
    The coding for you specific mapping will begin after this, something like :
    * Implements the DOM generating interface to the parser
      iparser->parse( ).
      emp_node_collection = idocument->get_elements_by_tag_name_ns( name = 'Order' ).
      emp_node_length = emp_node_collection->get_length( ).
      emp_node_iterator = emp_node_collection->create_iterator( ).
    where you start reading the xml node values.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards

  • CRMXIF_REL_SAVE_M01 - Mapping Question

    Hello All,
    I have a mapping question, hope some one can answer my question. Please see the link first and the see my question
    http://www.flickr.com/photos/8764045@N06/4265246260/sizes/o/
    I'm mapping the CRM IDOC to the JDBC Call. I have small problem here. All the target fields are Mandatory 1..1 .
    I will explain with an example:
    I have field from source E102BUS_EI_STRUC_TEL_DATA/COUNTRY mapped to target field.
    I used Map With Default so that even if the values are not there frm the source the target field will be mapped with blank.
    But the problem is the parent node for E102BUS_EI_STRUC_TEL_DATA is E102BUS_EI_BUPA_TELEPHONE is 0.999999 , so sometimes that segment is not coming. In this case Map with Default won't work. Map with Default willl work only if the Parent node is present.
    If you ask me to do Exists node function on E102BUS_EI_BUPA_TELEPHONE and then apply Map with Default, then even this won't work.
    Apologize if I confused you guys. Please let me know if you need more clarification.
    Thanks!
    Raj.

    Hi Raj,
    Try to do a mapping like this
    E102BUS_EI_STRUC_TEL_DATA(context E102S_EI_BUPA_TELEPHONE_CON)--mapwithdefault-->then
    E102BUS_EI_BUPA_TELEPHONE-->exists------------------------------------------------------------------>if---->splitbyValue
    let us say this output (the output of splitbyvalue) as 'VALUE'
    VALUE-----------------------------------------------> then
    VALUE|-->count--->greater----------------------->if----->targetField
          Constant(0)---->              Constant(blank)-->else

    you cant make them using DVD Studi pro, since they are for TRULY 1080p (23.98fps) projects using vc1.
    funny thing is if you know about these files, you would also KNOW that DVDSP does not do this!
    i have seen this files on the toshiba GUI but have not seen them with the blu-ray authroing compile.
    also, i am going to have to say that if you are TRULY "Dealing in real HD situaiton." you wouldnt NEED DVDSP.
    so ease up with the chip and if you have a REAL question ask it, if yo uare just here to show your feathers.. not interested!

  • @OneToOne, @PrimaryKeyJoinColumn and @GeneratedValue

    Hi all,
    I'm trying to do this mapping, but when I run the code I receive this error:
    Internal Exception: java.sql.SQLException: Column 'CD_RESERVA' cannot be nullError Code: 1048
    Call:INSERT INTO LOCACAO (CD_RESERVA, IN_PAGO) VALUES (?, ?)
         bind => [null, true]
    Query:InsertObjectQuery(br.com.jm.locadora.model.Locacao@0)
    @Entity
    public class Locacao {
      @Id
      @Column(name = "CD_RESERVA")
      private Integer codigo;
      @OneToOne
      @PrimaryKeyJoinColumn
      private Reserva reserva;
    @Entity
    public class Reserva {
      @Id
      @Column(name = "CD_RESERVA")
      @GeneratedValue(strategy = GenerationType.IDENTITY)
      private Integer codigo;
    }I didn't find a example like that in any place (a simple one-to-one relation with PK migration an auto-increment). Please, does anybody can help me?
    Thanks

    I know this post is coming late, but with the latest hibernate (common, annotations, entitymanager,...) the one-to-one with @PrimanryKeyJoin relationship works even if the @Id is auto generated.
    Here is my code that is working:
    Here is the person Class:
    @Entity
    @Table(name = "Person")
    public class Person implements java.io.Serializable {
         private Integer id;
         private User user;
         @Id
         @GeneratedValue(strategy = IDENTITY)
         @Column(name = "id", unique = true, nullable = false)
         public Integer getId() {
              return this.id;
            @OneToOne(cascade = CascadeType.ALL)
         @PrimaryKeyJoinColumn
         public User getUser()
              return user;
         public void setUser(User user)
              this.user = user;
    }As can be seen, the person class is generating the primary key and is the master on the Person-User relationship.
    Here is the user class:
    @Entity
    @Table(name = "User", catalog = "gabbaitools")
    public class User implements Serializable{
         @Id
         @GeneratedValue(generator = "foreign")
         @GenericGenerator(name = "foreign", strategy = "foreign", parameters =
         { @Parameter(name = "property", value = "person") })
         public Integer getId()
              return id;
         @OneToOne(mappedBy="user")
         public Person getPerson()
              return person;
    }To save a person/user, I am persisting the person (which has a user instance filled in).
    entityManager.persist(currentPerson);

  • Client Certificate Mapping authentication using Active Directory across trusted forests

    Hi,
    We currently have a setup where the on-premises environment and the cloud environment are based on two separate forests linked by a 1-way trust, i.e., the exist in the on-premises AD and the 1-way trust allows them to use their
    credentials to login to a cloud domain joined server. This works fine with the Windows authentication.
    We are now looking at implementing a 2-Factor authentication using Certificate. The PKI infrastructure exists in the On-Premises Forest. The users are able to successfully login to on-premise servers configured with "AD CLient Certificate
    Mapping".
    However, we are unable to achieve the same functionality on the cloud domain joined servers. I would like to know
    1. Is this possible?
    2. If yes, what do we need to do to make this work.
    Just to clarify, we are able to authenticate using certificates by enabling anonymous authentication. However, we are unable to do the same after turning on "Client Certificate Mapping authentication using Active Directory"

    1. Yes!
    2. Before answering this I need to know if your are trying to perform a smart card logon on a desktop/console or if you just want to use certificate based authentication in an application like using a web application with client certificate requirements
    and mapping?
    /Hasain
    We will eventually need it for smartcard logon on to desktop/console. However, at present, I am trying to use this for certificate based authentication on a web application.
    To simulate the scenario, I setup up two separate forests and established a trust between them.
    I then setup a Windows PKI in one of the forests and issued a client certificate to a user.
    I then setup a web server in both the forests and configured them for anonymous authentication with Client SSL requirement configured.
    I setup a test ASP page to capture the Login Info on both the servers.
    With the client and the server in the same forest, I got the following results
    Login Info
    LOGON_USER: CORP\ASmith
    AUTH_USER: CORP\ASmith
    AUTH_TYPE: SSL/PCT
    With the client in the domain with the PKI and the server in the other Forest, I got the following response
    Login Info
    LOGON_USER:
    AUTH_USER:
    AUTH_TYPE:
    I tried the configuration with the Anonymous Authentication turned off and the AD CLient Certificate mapping turned on.
    With the client and the server in the same forest, I am able to login to the default page. However, with the server in a trusted forest, I get the following error.
    401 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to invalid credentials.
    You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied

    How to specify a mapping file using annotations?
    Thanks
    tdeer

    We you codegen a Policy annotated WSDL, the policies are get included in the stub. Hence you don't have to specify a separate Policy file.
    But if you need to use a separate policy then you need to set them in the AxisDescription object that you use in the ServiceClient and OperationClient.
    e.g.
    ServiceClient serviceClient = new ServiceClient();
    OperationClient operationClient = serviceClient
    .createClient(ServiceClient.ANON_OUT_IN_OP);
    FileInputStream fis = new FileInputStream("path-to-policy.xml");
    Policy servicePolicy = PolicyEngine.getPolicy(fis);
    AxisService axisService = serviceClient.getAxisService();
    axisService.getPolicyInclude().setPolicy(servicePolicy);

  • Mapping drive using GPO does not obey to Item-level targeting

    Dear all,
    We are mapping drive using Item-level targeting based on security group (User Configuration > Preferences > Windows Settings > Drive Maps) with the following settings:
    Action: Replace
    Run in logged-on user's security context: <Checked>
    Item-level targeting: <Checked>
    So if user is member of Group_X then he/she will have drive X mapped on his computer.
    Problem now is that (even if reconnect is unchecked), drive will stay mapped when we remove a user from this group.
    Is this the normal behavior ? did I missed something ?
    or even worst, imho, should I add a new drive properties which would say to delete the drive if user does not belong to the relevant group ?
    -> double targeting query for a single drive
    -> what's the point of Replace / Reconnect then ?
    Thanks in advance for your opinions!
    /behd
    [EDIT: Forgot to specify Win2008R2 AD, Win7 Pro clients but doubt that it'll be of any interest for this case]

    Drive mapping should not remain after you remove the user from the group.
    What I suspect is, that at first, the "reconnect" was checked then the user got the policy and tattooed the reconnect value. after that it doesn't matter that "reconnect" was removed.
    Try the following:
    Logon with test user, make sure no drive mapping exist (disconnect if necessary).
    Create a new policy with drive map - make sure reconnect is not checked, and apply it for the test user.
    Make sure no other drive mapping policy exist for that user.
    Login with the test user, make sure drive was mapped.
    Log off that user, remove it from the group, wait for AD replication and log on again (sometimes another log off \ log on required).
    Please take a moment to Vote as Helpful and/or Mark as Answer where applicable. Thanks.

  • 1:N mapping without using BPM

    Hi All,
    I am facing a problem in 1:N mapping without using BPM...
    I would explain regarding it first...
    Scenarion is from SAP > XI> 3files
    I have 4 XSD's 1) one is Source Idoc XSD (all xsd's imported to External def.s)
                          2) target file 1 XSD
                           3) target file 2 XSD
                          4) target file 3 xsd
    I have created 4 message interfaces one is Outbound and rest 3 are Inbound
    and also i have done mapping : In mapping messages tab i have mentioned the 3 XSD(External definitions) and done the mapping as required...
    But now my problem is how to proceed with Interface mapping ...
    should i create 3 interface mappings ( ithink no) ... but in IM i am able to create for only one taget Interface .. how to with 3 XSD's ...
    Any solution is always thankfull...
    and Points are surely rewarded....
    Thanks and Regards,
    Sridhar Reddy

    Hi Sridhar,
    Receiver Determinatiion: one Receiver without Condition (Service that has all the Three inbound Interfaces).
    Then in Interface Determination choose enhanced  and choose ur Interface Mapping that has the Multi Mapping.
    It will automatically provide the three inbound Interfaces and u can create ur receiver agreements.

  • Two Message Mappings in one Interface Mapping without using BPM

    Hello Experts,
    I have this scenario, please help me
    I have to execute two mappings of which one is a java mapping and then the other is a message mapping sequentially.
    The mapping is something like below
    Message1  -> (java Mapping) -> Message2
    Message2
    Message1 -> (Message Mapping) -> Message3
    Based on the value in Message2 I have to map Message1 to Message3
    I am not an expert in java so please give me options that doesn't involve changing of java code.
    The above 2 mappings have to be implemented in only one interface mapping.
    Suggestions please.

    Hi Ravi!
    You say message2 dependes on message1 and message3 is mapped from message1 but using also values from message2? But this means, that whole mapping dependes only on message1!
    So change your mapping and use the one not based on message2, but message1. Put these as a condition in interface determination and based on these values use the correct mapping.
    Peter
    p.s. I'm not sure, if I got your requirement correctly, but your target message dependes only on message1 (since message2 dependes on it too), so this whole mapping can be done as 1. Unfortunately, you'll probably have to change your java part. Bur definetely, Raj is right.

  • Sequential mapping without using BPM

    I have a requirement where i need to do a sequential mapping without using BPM. IDoc to file is the first mapping.A few fields of the IDoc are transformed in this mapping. Output of this first one should contain the transformed as well as rest of the fields of the IDoc as it is coz they will be used in the second mapping.
    Is this possible any way?

    yes soumen...u can do it.in the interface mapping option is there to do that...
    but u can do it in a single mapping!!!
    go thro'  this general Idoc to file scenario...u may get some help

  • How much data does the apple maps app use per hour ?

    hello,
    i would like to know, if somebody could give me a rough number of how much the Apple Maps app uses per hour for navigation ?

    Apple's Maps app uses vector graphics, so it doesn't have to download data everytime your view changes, & also has an offline mode...you can download quite a large area over WiFi & then use this cache to navigate.
    So, I really wouldn't worry too much about its data usage. Most tests I've read indicate it uses about 80% less data than Google Maps.
