Market Place is a scam! Ridiculous return problems! I feel betrayed an tricked by Best Buy!!!!

I didn't even know there was a Market Place!  Until I just tried to return something I purchased online to Best Buy local Store.  Imagine my surprise as an Elite PLus Member when they told me I had to contact each vendor individually to return something I purchased from BestBuy.com.  Thats when they showed me the teeny tiny little bitty blurb of text on the item page that said sold by xyz company.  I'm busy ordering a bunch of stuff online for Xmas.  How am I suppose to stop and read every blurp of text on a Bestbuy.com website to see if they changed how they sell stuff they apparently don't offer at Best Buy but is instead sold by shady third persons.  I shop at Best Buy because I know Best Buy policy and return procedures.  I like their customer service in the local store.
If I wanted to buy crap from third party vendors, then have to pay to send it back to them, I'd buy from a catalog sold at the corner magazine rack.  I shouldn't have to endure this sort of process from Best Buy.  (removed per forum guidelines) who blatantly shows you that your not buying from (removed per forum guidelines) will handle your problem like you did buy it from (removed per forum guidelines) and even ship it back to (removed per forum guidelines) on their dime!!!!!
I feel what Best Buy did was sneaky, deceptive, and in no way what I'd expect as a long time customer.  That fact that I have to find each indiviually seller I purchased from, call or email them to ask for a return request, assuming I don't have to call or email several times to get ahold of them.  Then to make me have to pay to return the item???  Becuase I can't take it to a Best Buy store to return it as I have always been able to do?!!!
This is the last time I buy anything online from Best Buy.  At least if I buy it in the store I know I can return it if I need to.  Not sure I even want shop again with Best Buy after this!!!  I already warned all my Friends on Facebook an twitter about what has happened.
I should write a article an post to (removed per forum guidelines) an see if they will run the article so others won't have to endure what I'm going through.
Listen up Best Buy!!!  If I wanted to purchase from shady third parties I would!!!  But I don't want to.  I shop Best Buy because I can return it to the store!  If I have a problem or I can call Best Buy customer service an they take care of it.  I don't want to deal with some third party shady shop in NY running a business in the subway station on his cellphone.
NOT a happy customer!!!  The fact I have so much run around to return two items I purchased from what I thought was my normal Best Buy dot com store an instead was some third party yahoo people who make me pay to return it after three days of trying to get a hold of one of them pisses me off.  The fact I still haven't heard from the second vendor after emails and phone calls really annoys me.  Even your own customer service can't get ahold of the business.  Just a message machine where no one calls you back.

    In order for us to help you will need to provide a lot more information. However, I would start with this:
    1. Have you compile the webutil.pll file in to a .plx?
    2. Is the PLX included in the FORMSxx_PATH?
    3. Have you attached the WebUtil objects (from the Object Library) to your form?
    4. If you are developing your form on Windows and trying to run it on Unix, have you recompiled the PLL and FMB?
    5. If you sub-classed the WebUtil objects in to your form, the webutil OLB will need to be in the FORMSxx_PATH
    Try using the WebUtil Demo form:

    Using Android 2.2.1.  Get error when trying to install Flash Player.  From a barcode it says the app is not found from the market place it says the same thing.  Running on a Star S3000 with MediaTek MTK6516, 416MHZ processor.

    I have come acrossed an issue in my L920. Windows Market place in the phone is not showing update for any app i have installed in my phone for around amonth. I was hoping that this problem will be solved after release of GDR2+Amber update, but the problem stil stands, i have to keep watch on the blogs like wpcentral and windows phone blog for any update of the apps i have installed as well as for the system apps which consumes lot of time. Please guide why this is happening and how it can be fixed?

    Can you check if you have an active connection? What type of connection are using? If you are using cellular data connection, try to use Wi-Fi and check if the app updates will appear on the Store. Also, do you have multiple phones registered under your Microsoft account? The App update push notifications may not be shown if you have multiple phones running with the same account. If this is your case, try to remove a registered device from your Microsoft account, please follow the steps below:
    Use a desktop browser, sign in to your Microsoft account by clicking on the link www.windowsphone.com.
    Once signed in, and then hover a mouse pointer over your name at the top right corner of the page.
    On the drop down menu, you will also see the list of devices that are registered on you Microsoft account.
    Select a device that you would like to remove.
    Once you have selected the device, move a mouse pointer over your name and then select Account Settings on the drop down menu.
    At the top left corner, you will see the name and model of the Windows Phone you would like to remove.
    Click on Remove.
    Confirm the action by clicking on Remove on the pop-up window.
    The back-end change to remove device association takes up to 72 hours to replicate through the systems.
    Let us know the outcome.

  • No EWA report in service market place inbox

    We havent receive EWA since last 2 weeks in service channel inbox in SAP market place. Prior to that we used receive this report weekly without any issues, i have checked all the configurations in SDCCN of satellite system and also in solution manager everything things seems to be perfect. even the task log shows the message data succesfully tarnsfered to destination SDCC_OSS.

    This is your word security settings that is causing this. 
    Follow these steps if you are using either of these word versions:
    Word 2003 Settings   >
    - Open Word 2003
    - Click on Tools
    - Select Options
    - Select the Security Tab
    - Click on Macro Security
    - Set Security Level to Low (not recommended)
    - Click on Trusted Publishers on top.
    - Place a checkmark on Trust access to Visual Basic Project
    - Place a checkmark on Trust all installed add-ins and templates
    - Push OK
    - Push OK
    - Exit Word.
    - Run EWA and the issue should be resolved.
    Word 2007 Settings   >
    - Open Word 2007
    - Click on "Customize Quick Access Toolbar.
    - Click on More Commands
    - Click on Trust Center
    - Click on Trust Center Settings button on the right
    - Click on Macro Settings on the left.
    - Select Enable all macros (not recommended).
    - Put a checkmark on Trust access to the VBA project object model.
    - Push OK.
    - Push Ok.
    - Exit Word.
    - Run EWA and the issue should be resolved.
    Also, please check the following notes in the order listed.  I'm sure that one of these should resolve your Word issue:

    387519    Analysis of reporting problems with MS Word
    332057    Problems generating or processing Word documents
    Please keep in mind that Word 2000 is no longer supported by Microsoft and also not by SAP.

  • Market Place showing Error code 80072f7c.

    Hi Support Team,
    I have been experiencing the following error code 80072f7c while trying to use market place with GPRS. Also the internet speed is not that much smooth like android. I have tested my internet connection on Android device. 
    Unfortunately, I am not able to download any application with wifi either. It drops every 2-3 minutes, then to connect again you need to repeat the search and connect process again, why not it keeps me connected.
    Am i missing some settings ? Please help.

  • New Market Place My Apps Missing Installed

    I'm having the same problem as another post under the droid x so I know its not unique to this model. A ton of my installed apps are missing from the new market place.  The follow up question from verizon to that post was "If you search for your apps in the market place do they still come up and show as installed.  Sometimes authors remove or rename apps from the market place..." yada yada.  The answer is yes.  In fact the market place alerted me I had an update available but the app was not listed in the my app section, nor did the my app section display the update all button.  I had to search for each of my apps to find the one with an update.  They all came up in the market place, and they all said installed.  But none were on the my apps list.  The only thing in common about the ones actually listed is that they seem to all be the paid apps. I haven't gone through every one yet to see if that's the case, but so far all the one's missing were free, and from my recollection of what I've purchased, those all seem to be listed in my apps.

  • Cannot place order ERROR: "There was a problem adding your product to cart"

    Hey guys,
    Well, once again Best Buy's online system is preventing me from making an order. It seems like nearly every time I log in I experience some new problem. This time, I'm unable to add anything to my cart. It doesn't matter what item I try to add to my cart or what browser I use or if I clear cookies...it happens every time, on every browser, with every product in the store. The error shows a red & white triangle with a message "There was a problem adding your product to cart".
    Just to clarify ahead of time: 1) I have already tried signing in using 4 different browsers (explorer, firefox, chrome, opera) & they all give the same error; 2) Prior to posting here I researched this problem & found out it is somewhat common & has been occurring since at least 2012 on BestBuy.com; 3) Every time someone posts in here about this problem, customer service offers the same "fix" every time - to sign out, clear their browser cache of cookies, shut down the browser, restart the browser, sign back in, etc.... The only problem is, this "solution" has not worked ONE time our of the many times this problem has cropped up in here over the past 3+ years. Why this "solution" keeps getting told to people even though it never works is beyond me. But, there you have it.
    Just to clarify: I have already tried this solution, And just like with everyone else before me, it didn't work for me either. So, what's the next step? There must be something else that can be done other than waiting a couple more days for it to magically fix itself (it seems that is the only thing that ever "works"...is to let several days go by and the problem ends up getting fixed in some back-end server-side patch up). 
    What I'm hoping for from you is a solution that can fix this immediately. This problem has already prevented me from making a couple purchases for items that were temporarily on sale over the past couple days. So, those are lost sales for Best Buy. What I'm hoping to do now is pre-order the Elder Scrolls Online (PS4) in order to take advantage of the $10 pre-order reward. The game releases on Tuesday the 9th. So, in order to get this done in time I need to place the order sometime today (on the 8th).
    With all these repeated technical problems making purchasing a chore & wasting my time every single time I want to buy a product it's almost as if Best Buy is telling customers "We don't care if our online system works reliably...go spend your money at Amazon instead". lol

    We recommend the troubleshooting steps you mentioned (i.e., clearing the browser cache, deleting temporary internet files and cookies) because this is the most common cause of this type of problem. I too have encountered this issue from time to time and these steps have almost always resolved the problem. I say almost always because there's one further step you can try: ensure that you have signed out of BestBuy.com, then perform the browser maintenance steps we've recommended. Afterward, before signing in to BestBuy.com, add your desired items to your cart and sign in as part of the checkout process. When the standard steps have not netted a resolution for me, this has solved the problem each time.

    According to a random website... the HTC Wildfire S uses a Qualcomm MSM7225 processor. This processor unfortunately does not support the full ARM version 7 instruction set, so Firefox cannot run on it.
