Marking new Topics as "New" with a different graphic

I went through Skinny and dug up the "Marking TOC pages as
'new'" topic, so it sounds like a good thing to have for the
particular project I'm working on.
1. Changed one of the TOC in the project to start with an
asterisk.
2. Genned WebHelp.
3. Went to the output folder and opened whthost.js.
4. Found

after it.
5. Modified
YourImageName.gif to an already-existing graphic in the
project. (I didn't want to add a baggage file, and just wanted to
see the final result to test it, so I picked one that the project
already uses).
6. Ran my project. This is where it gets caught in an endless
loop. The status bar at the bottom of IE quickly alternates between
messages of "Error on page" and "Opening file .../whtdhtml.htm..."
Is there something that I've missed that I need to modify in
whtdhtml.htm?
This is happening on Internet Explorer 6.0.2.
Any ideas on this one?

I see what happened.
The sHTML line should all fit onto one line.

Now it's working fine.

does anybody know how to set xml forms to achieve the possibility to edit one created news with 2 different forms, based for example on the layout set used?

Hi Marco,
If I understood your problem you need that a xml file to be read by another form.
There is a property called: resouce type (metadata, belong to system).
When you save your xml file (from form) this property is setted by the system. Using this value the system knows how to open this file.
If you need to pass this information (xml file)among differents forms, in your forms you can add a combo box in which you set up this property. When you change this value of this property (name of resource type the other form)you carry out that this xml file to be read for other form.
The truth is different forms, use differents resource type, therefore these forms can not,simultaneously,read the same xml file.
Also, if you create your own layout set, within collection renederer you can filter by resource type.

Yes, the email addresses need to be unique to each device. You may use the same Apple ID on each device, but the email address used by each device needs to be different.

These are two possible approaches that will normally work to move an existing library to a new computer.
Method 1
Backup the library with this User Tip.
Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer want to access protected content on it.
Restore the backup to your new computer using the same tool used to back it up.
Keep your backup up-to-date in future.
Method 2
Connect the two computers to the same network. Share your <User's Music> folder from the old computer and copy the entire iTunes library folder into the <User's Music> folder on the new one. Again, deauthorize the old computer if no longer required.
Both methods should give the new computer a working clone of the library that was on the old one. As far as iTunes is concerned this is still the "home" library for your devices so you shouldn't have any issues with iTunes wanting to erase and reload.
I'd recommend method 1 since it establishes an ongoing backup for your library.
Note if you have iOS devices and haven't moved your contacts and calendar items across then you should create one dummy entry of each in your new profile and iTunes should merge the existing data from the device.
If your media folder has been split out from the main iTunes folder you may need to do some preparatory work to make it easier to move. See make a split library portable.
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library or a backup then then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device for advice on how to set up your devices with a new library with the maximum preservation of data.

Hello, thank you for your prompt answer. I did have an idea that Home sharing might be the answer but could not quite figure out how to do it. I have enabled home sharing in my iTunes account, put in username and password, clicked on creat etc. But the homs sharing icon doew not appear in the left side of iTunes. So I got stuck. You can set up your iCloud account on your iOS device under: "Settings > iCloud" and a other account for store purchases under "Settings > iTunes & App Stores". Unfortunately merging accounts is not possible but you could transfer all of your music manually via iTunes from your Mac or PC.

For whatever reasons, the "None" option is not always available to all users and I think it may be related to what country you live in. Short of contacting Apple to get it straightened out, if you haven't done anything with your new ID ye - you can create an Apple ID without a credit card and simply abandon the one that you just created.

The two big things that you have to remember for this to work are ... you have to sign out of your existing Apple ID .... Settings>Store>Apple ID - tap the ID and sign out. Then you have to try to download a free app to bring up the window that asks you to sign in or create an ID. Read the information on the website that I referenced above.
If you have not used the original Apple ID for anything yet, you can simply ignore it and use the new one - or like I said earlier - contact iTunes support and ask them to help you sort it out.

I have gone to the window pop-down to 'previous recipients' and deleted that addressee as well as all the email addresses it is assigning to that name. I have also deleted the account entirely from my address book. I have have run repair permissions and also full defrag in iDefrag. Still the problem persists. Any suggestions?

I noticed you posted this problem quite a while ago and wondered if you managed to have it fixed in an alternative way then posting here. It is too bad no one has posted a solution here. I have a similar problem and if you have had yours solved since this occurance how you accomplished it may help me with mine. I am interested to know what you have done about yours.

Why are you not changing the username of the existing account, instead of deleting the existing one and creating a new one?
If you truly need to delete and create new, you can save the GUID for the mailbox (Get-MailboxStatistics <mailbox alias> | Fl MailboxGuid), mail disable the existing account (Disable-Mailbox <mailbox alias>
will work), clean the mailbox database it was hosted on (Clean-MailboxDatabase
<database name>), then create your new account and recover the existing mailbox to that new account (Connect-Mailbox -Identity <Guid from before> -Database <Database name> -User <SAM account name of new account> -Alias
<what you wish to set the alias to>). In PowerShell, for all steps, you would do the following:
$MbxAlias = <mailbox alias>
$NewMbxAcct = <SAM Account Name for new account>
$NewMbxAlias = <new alias for mailbox>
$DomCtrl = (dir env:\LOGONSERVER).Value.Substring(2)
$MbxGuid = (Get-MailboxStatistics $MbxAlias -DomainController $DomCtrl).MailboxGuid
$MbxDb = (Get-Mailbox $MbxAlias -DomainController $DomCtrl).Database
Disable-Mailbox $MbxAlias
Clean-MailboxDatabase $MbxDb
Connect-Mailbox -Identity $MbxGuid -Database $MbxDb -User $NewMbxAcct -Alias $NewMbxAlias -DomainController $DomCtrl
You will need to supply the information in bold in the above commands, and you will need to create the new account before you run the above commands. I include direct use of a specific domain controller so you won't need to worry about replication.
If you are changing the account from one domain to another, this will not help, and you will need to wait for replication throughout the process, running the commands individually.

Apps and Music are not from iCloud. Are from iTunes and App Store.
You can change this from: Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Sign out and sign in with new ID, but you will have to pay again to download apps that you already have in your old account. Or leave it as it is to share purchases with your son.
