Mass change problem in sales order form
Hi,
I am changing the promise date at mass change by selecting all the lines.
Now, the same date I want to be populated for the Schedule_ship_date if the source_type is 'EXTERNAL'.

I have a requirement where If we make changes in the availability check rule of the material master(for e.g. 02 to 01),then the same rule should be changed in the sales order as well.
Though this will be changed for the new orders but is there any program which we can run manually or in the background in order to make changes in the old sales orders.

U cannot change checking group or checking rule for availabillity check at sales order level, u can change requirements type.
If u want to change requirements type determined into sales orders, which r already created go to t.code MASS and select the object type sales orders and press execute, select sales order item data on tables tab,and select requirements type on fields tab and press execute.specify sales documents number from and to and item numbers, and press execute and specify the new value and press carryout mass change button and then save.

Mass Changes to Header - Sales Order
Hi gurus
I have a requirement to be able to make mass changes on the some of the sales order header fields such as user statuses etc. I know CRMD_SALES_MASS is available but this only takes care of item level changes.
I have actually found a Mass update header table and have added my fields in but dont know how to trigger it or what i a missing.
any information would be greatly apprecaited and rewarded

Create a include program inside the subroutine USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT and do the coding based on your requirement

Mass change - Move existing sales orders from Sales org A to Sales org B
Good morning dear network,
am seeking for your guidance on one specific matter.
We are in the process of making changes to our billing / organisational structure (new sales orgs)
One of the challenges is that we need to move existing open sales orders from one sales org to another (new) sales org.
If all master records exist in the new sales org, is there a (technical) way of moving the existing sales orders from the current sales org into the new sales org, without having to replace each order individually ?
would welcome any suggestions.
Many thanksI would recommend to close the existing open sale orders by assigning Reason for Rejection and create new sale orders in the newly created sales organisation.
This is due to the fact that you need to ensure each and field in the existing sale orders to match with the newly created sales organisation and it is bit time consuming.
Still if you prefer to what you had indicated, LSMW is the better option

Order type Personalization Problem in Standard Sales Order Form

We have a problem in personalization of Sales order form.Here we are trying to personalize three field based on order type
Scenario 1:_
_Nav-->Oredr Management Super User-->Orders,returns-->Sales Orders-->order type-->standard_
In this type if we are navigating to lines it should ask the following fields as mandatory
(Nav-->Oredr Management Super User-->Orders,returns-->Sales Orders-->others form)
1.Shipping Method
2.Freight Terms
3.Shipment priority
Scenario 2:_
_Nav-->Oredr Management Super User-->Orders,returns-->Sales Orders-->order type-->Bill only & Internal & RMA_
then it should navigate to line items without asking those three mandatory fields.
For that we did the following Personalization through Help-->Diagnostics-->Custom Code-->Personalize

The problem we are facing is when we first select the ordar type as Bill only or Internal or RMA it is working as expected. But first if we are select the order type as standard then we navigiting to lines it is not allowing us without entering those three mandatory fields as expected. Hence the problem is without closing the form we changed the order type as Bill only now also those fields remains as mandatory this is issue .
So hope the problem is clear to you all and we have to move this in production on tomorrow.

for that we did three personalization for those three fields as in the previous post
but the problem is
when we first select the ordar type as Bill only or Internal or RMA it is working as expected the fiel sare non mandatory the without closing the form if we select order type as standard then if i try to navigate lines it is not allowing me without entering the three fields. But incase first we are select the order type as standard then we navigiting to lines it is not allowing us without entering those three mandatory fields as expected. Hence the problem is without closing the form now we changed the order type as Bill only or internal or RMA now also those fields remains as mandatory this is issue .

Quick Sales Order Form Enter Query(F11) and Execute Query(Clt+F11) Problem

I am having a Problem in Quick Sales Order Form. When I am entering a New Sales Order and Book the Order it is working fine. And Now I want to Query the Sales Order If the Same New Order Number has Queried then It is Properly Queried. But If I am trying to Query Some Other Existing Sales Order other than the new one then It Shows the Error Messgae as Query Caused No Records to be Retrived. We have R12 12.1 Instance.
Can anyone Helpme in Solving this Issue will be highly appriciable.

Have you tried to regenerate the form via adadmin and see if it helps?
Do you have any invalid objects in the database?
You may try to obtain the FRD log file and see if more details about the issue are collected in the logs.

Problem binding a matrix in the Sales Order Form
Hi everybody!
I am working in an Add-On. What I do is modify the sales order form in runtime. I catch the event when the form is loading and then I add a new folder with some fields and a matrix.
I've got a matrix in this form with the employees that participate in an order and when I go through all the orders by using the next and previous record buttons I have to rebind it to show the participants in a specific order. The code for the event is the following:

After bind the grid, BO shows a System message indicating that the form has been changed and asking me if I want to save the changes to the order. Looks like, whenever the bind function finds rows to add to the matrix it changes the mode of the form by adding rows to the matrix. How can I prevent that when I'm in view mode?

Change in an LOV query of Sales Order Form not working
Hi,
I wish to change the the Order Type (in the Sales Header) displayed in the Sales Order Form when viewed from a particular Responsibility.(11i Instance)
To be specific only certain order types should be displayed in the LOV when the User tries to create Order from that Responsibility.
In that process I created an FP with Action --> Builtin -->Create Record Group From Query
Then in Property-->Object Type-->LOV and Target Object -->ORDER_TYPE Value-->Name of my Query Group
I downloaded the Sales Order Form and modified the Query of the Group keeping the columns selected and the view used same and added in the Group I created.
But it didn't work out.
I tried out by changing my Target Object to SRV_ORDER_TYPE and its corresponding query from the Oracle Form.
But still it didn't work.
Please tell me where I'm going wrong.

I have successfully accessed a matrix using Visual Basic .Net. It has been quite a challenge while I was at it.
One important thing to understand is that (unless you access the datasource) in order to access a particular control in a matrix object, this control needs to be visible and enabled. It is like simulating a user accessing the matrix via GUI... if a control is not enabled, you cannot access it (as said via control). That might explain question 1.

I have personally never used the Cells count method. It should always return the number of rows. My only guess here is that you are using an old reference on the matrix object in which the rows are not there yet.

Issue while updating(Changing) quantity on line at quick sales order form
Hi,
I am facing a issue while changing quantity ordered on the order line in quick sales order form. (R12.1.3)
Although the same logic works exactly as required in 11.5.9.
There is a custom logic, post booking line status is Awaiting Shipping.
Now when quantity is changed +(Saved), the status changes to a custom state but at the same time a new row is created with the same line id but different reservation id in the MTL_RESERVATIONS.
The quantity here is the difference between the original quantity and the new entered quantity.
And post completion of the custom logic the original row is updated, but being there a additional row the quantity reserved at the shipping tab comes wrong.
Our requirement is of update which is happening but not the additional insert which is going into MTL_RESERVATIONS.
The logic is perfect in 11.5.9 and no additional insert is being made.
Kindly help and give some ideas for the possible reason the issue.

I have gone through the note id that you have given. sorry to say that, that is refering to diffrent issue.
Actually what i did is, At form header level, I have hide the fileds using the folder options. once after changes I have closed the form and re-opened it. by that time I can see that Button names got changed in bottom of the "Quick sales order form". Not sure how it become changed. there five buttons over the form, only two button names got changed.
Kindly suggest any other options. -

Which LOV is attached to ordered item on sales order form

I want to change the query of ordered item field on sales order form in Line items tab.
I found that this field is using KFF as its LOV. KFF is "System Items" in Inventory application.
But when I see the value set attached to the segment it is NONE type.

because this will get the row that is currently selected, however the menu will delete the row that currently has focus. You need to declare a row variable outside the scope of the events and set it on the got focus event.

Fast change option in Sales order-Additiinal field required

We want to add schedule line category field in Fast change option in Sales order as we have a requriment of changing schedule line category for more than 20 lines in sales order...After sales order is created ,we go and change the schedule line category ...
Tried using MASS transaction but this doesn't have Schedule line category field.(VBEP table)

Field name-ETTYP
In VA05 also there is no option to change schedule line category mass update...
Should we have to do in screen painter only for adding this field...

Using PDF form as a sales order form on Android device

I'm working on a digital sales order form solution, and found Adobe Reader for Android looking to be usefull. However I'm stuck with some questions and hoping to find answers here on the forums.
I don't have a lot of experience with creating PDF's, but I do have sufficient experience with Javascript, so I managed to create form that does some calculations. Everything looks and works alright, but for it to work in the field there are some showstoppers.
The form I've created has 2 signature fields
Here are my issues. Please keep in mind that the user (sales representive) is filling in the form on an Samsung Galaxy Note.
After the form is signed, the user can still make changes to the form. Is there a way to disable this?
The signature default uses very thick lines. How can I force this to 1px default?
The last used signature is stored. How can I disable this? (Customers don't want their signature to be stored, as the sales rep could use that to sign other forms as wel..)
Adobe reader overwrite the original file upon closing. Is there a way to force a 'save as' screen?
Adobe reader allows a user to make comments and write free hand. I'd like to disable this.
(I've tried Document Restrictions, but this ruins the document by removing every form field.. )

I have a problem regarding sales order line item with confimed quanity
Hi Experts,
I have a problem regarding sales order line item with confimed quanity with '0' with delivery block but confirming the sales order quantity once the order is released from credit check.
The situation arises as per the below scenarios.
Scenario - 1 - When the sales order has two line item - one line item with confirmed qunaity in the schedule line and for the 2nd line item there is no available stock for the Material xxxxxx.
Initially the sales order is created for the line item 2 with confirmed quantity = 0, and having the delivery block = 01 for the Material xxxxxx and the order is set with credit check. Once the order is relased from the credit check. The quanity for the item 2 where the confirmed quantity will be = 0 ( Where it is not changing the confirmed quantity)
Scenario -2- Updating the order qunaity for the line item 2 as (9Pcs) it will goes to credit check and save the order.
Maintain the stock for the line item 2 ( 5 Pcs).
Once the order is released from the credit check. Then for the line item 2 the confirm quanity will be seting to 5 Pcs with Delivery blcok 01.
This should not happen, When the credit check is released even though if it has stock based on the delivery blockl it should set the confirmed quanity to Zero.
Can you please help me how to solve this issue.

I agree with your point. In the sales order When the complete delivery check box is enabled where the confimed qty is set to zero, it is fine but when we save the orderr it goes to credit check. Once we release the order using VKM3 where in the sales order the confimed quantity is setting to 5, But it should set to Zero quantity. Quatity should not be get confirmed it should be Zero Quantity.
Further in SPRO - customizing in the deliveries blocking reasons - It has a tick mark in the confirmation blcok. But we dont want to remove the - Confirmation Block tick mark
Please any one can help me if you have any solution to solve this problem.

But if i do it after 14 feb 2008 then it is calculating IN: A/R BED %IN A/R BED totalN A/R CESS [1621]
When I do it with current date it is calculating IN: A/R BED %IN A/R BED totalN A/R CESS [1621] say date is 9-5-2008
I am not able to trace out problem, kindly help me from where I do I check and why this is happening.

I am not sure if this solves your problem, but I am suspecting that this might be due to the 'valid on date' of the condition records created for the relevant duty condition types.
Since it was a recent regulation and VK11 usually defaults current date as the valid date, that condition record may have been valid only from the recent date on which it was created.
Check the date in VK12 (To find the exact selection parameters, check the pricing analysis in the sales order which will display the exact condition record which is being selected as of current date.) Check for the same parameters; change the date to relevant date in the past and recreate the sales order. Hopefully this should solve the issue.
