Material list creation date wise

Experts,
Please suggest any standard transaction code for getting list of materials created in particular period. Tables I know but my requirement is to have transaction code so I can provide it to the users also I dont want to go for any kind of ABAP development.
Please suggest the way out.

If you knoe the tables and manage to get the required output,just go to SQVI...create a report.. Then you can assign a transaction to that report..in se93.
still to be clear...
In SQVI...
Enter some name..like zxxxxx. Create..
Enter description.
Data source: select table join
Enter
Click the insert table iconu2026enter the first table name
Again Click the insert table iconu2026enter the second table name
Then come back..
You will see all the fields in both the tables with two boxes next to each field..
The first box is the thing which you need to get in the output and the next box is for the inputting stuff..
Put tick mark in the relevant boxes according to ur requirementsu2026and execute...
Now save. Go to system...ststus....copy the program name..
THen go to se93...give the transaction code of your choice. create...paste the program you copied.. then save it as a local object..save
now you can give the t code to the users

U can try this
Ur requirement can fulfilled by using combination of fields in condition table of Listing/exclusion
menu path:
Spro-> img>SD-> basic function -
> listing/exclusion->Maintain condition tables for listing/exclusion--> table 003
This table u have to assign to the access sequence. Then this access sequence u assign it to the condition type which is maintainesd in the <b>Procedures for maintaining listing/exclusion</b>
Now try with VB01, then listing/ exclusion for the customer happens at plant

Enter table MARC.. PRCTR is the field for profit cener.. Enter ur prof center and execute..you ll get the list of matreials under the profit center

Hi,
1) For your first question, you have 2 options.
a) In report ME5A, select 'Dynamic Selection'. Adopt field Requisition date & enter your required requisition date & then execute.
b) Create a query in transaction SQVI. Refer table EBAN & then select field BADAT (Requisition date) along with other fields. Give the requisition dates as per your requirements. After executing, you will get the list of PRs based on the requisition creation date.
2) For your second query, go to report ME5A. Then enter processing status as 'Not Edited' along with other selection criteria. After executing, you will get the list of PRs created but not yet converted to PO.

Z report for opening qty of material date wise

I have to develop a zreport which will calculate date wise opening stock of material and closing stock of that material at particular
location ( not to use standard reports)
I have to display sale qty and stock transfer qty date wise.
Similarly receipt qty date wise.
For sale qty, stock transfer qty and receipt calculation are date wise ok. But problem is to get date wise opening and closing stock of particular material.
is it possible to get location wise material wise date wise opening stock list in z report.

Hope you are an ABAPer. If not also, you can achieve this through an ABAPer. As mentioned by others, you need to check whether your requirement is met by the standard transaction MB5B. You need to check whether this transaction gives you the exact opening and closing balance for a material. If this gives what you want, then you need to make some small enhancement in the MB5B report program so that you will be getting the result of the opening and closing stock. In this enhancement you will use EXPORT to export the result to your program where you can IMPORT it. This procedure is explained in detail in a document created in SCN dated 30th November, 2012 by Sijin Siji. Have a look in that.
That document is descriptive and it will be helping you in solving this issue. If you have any doubts, please revert back.

Material Creation date by plant

Hello all,
In several of our report I need to enter the creation date of the material. My problem is that the creation date of material is a global information and sits in MARA. The users run the report by plant and therefore they are interested to know what was the creation date of the material for a specific plant and not in general. Where can I find this information? How can I know the date that the material was extended to a specific plant?

Dear Liat,
Plant Data for Material is stored in table MARC. Not sure, if date on which material has been extended to a particular plant will be stored in it.
If you cannot get the date from MARC, you will have to implement a proper BAdi/Enhancement so that you can store date on which material is extended to a particular plant for the combination of Material, Plant. You can fetch the same to be displayed in the reports.

There is no standard report for materials created in a Day,
You can make use of OIW8 transaction code you will get Material list day wise. click on material field selection list and then give the dates and execute.
You can make use of MM50 also, take a maintenance status which you have not maintained till now and give the dates and execute you will get the list od materials created in that particular day.

If you use the Fast Recovery Area, by default Oracle will dump archivelogs into date-named directories ("directories" = "folders" for those wedded to their GUI)

Material Creation Date and Time

Hi,
Is there any place which stores the material creation date and time. We have checked table MARA, but that only has the creation date of the material, but does not give the material creation time. We have checked table CDHDR, but that only seems to have the material change date and time.
From where can we retrieve the material creation date and time.

Actually, CDHDR and CDPOS will have the value. The CDHDR record will be marked as a 'U" record but look at the corresponding CDPOS record for MARA and it will be marked as an 'I' record.

Go to T.Code: MM60,Then enter your required plant and execute.
Now you can see the material with created date or last change date and who created.

Customer wise material list

Dear all ,
i have a requirement from the client who needs customer wise all the details like General data, Sales area data, and also the partnumber which are being sold , is this possible through standard report, or do we need to customize for it

your requirment is not possible by std report
but you can develop a report
you can get Cutomer General data from KNA1 General Data in Customer Master, Sales area data from KNVV Customer Master Sales Data, and also the partnumber which are being sold you can get from below mentioned table if you ahve maintained

List files by creation date on command line

Can anyone suggest a method of obtaining a list of files in a directory created on or after a certain date? That is, files created before that date are filtered out and not printed to stdout. Ideally I'd also like to add other restrictions, such as searching for partial matches of a given file name.

Hi Mihalis,
   Unix commands have access to the classic UNIX dates: modification, change and access. The creation date is purely HFS metadata about which UNIX tools have no clue. Thus, Andy's reference to the Spotlight Query documentation is correct and the most useful answer. I think I found that once before it was in its current form but it looks really useful now. 2) Vendor wise material list: that mean list of materials purchased from a perticular Vendor...

Use T. Code: SE16 and enter EINA table name.
If u want report for material / vendor, Enter material in MATNR field and execute and get the report.
If u want report for/ vendor /material, Enter Vendor l in LIFNR field and execute get the report.

How can we list Sales Orders based on creation date and delivery priority.
I tried using vl10a transaction code, but there we can see sales order based on delivery date.
we need to list all sales order based on delivery priority and sales order creation date.

There is no st report available as per your req.
Using SQVI, you develope one report that is list of sales orders based on your req.
SQVI is used to convert a Quick View into a query.
Quick Viewer:
The Quick Viewer allows you to define reports without having to program yourself. The Quick
Viewer is especially useful for new users and occasional use.
Quick Viewer is a tool for generating reports. SAP Query offers the user a whole range of options for defining reports. SAP Query also supports different kinds of reports such as basic lists, statistics, and ranked lists. Quick Viewer, on the other hand, is a tool that allows even relatively inexperienced users to create basic lists.
Quick View definitions are user-dependent. You can transfer a Quick View into SAP Query in order to make reports, for example, accessible to additional users, or to use the other functions available in SAP Query.
The following is a comparison of Quick Views and queries:
Quick Views possess the same functional attributes as queries. However, only basic lists may be defined with Quick Views.
In contrast to queries, no user group assignment is necessary with Quick Views. Each user has his/her own personal list of Quick Views. Quick Views cannot be exchanged between users. Quick Views may, however, be converted to queries and then be made available to other users in a specific user group.
Info Sets are not required for Quick View definition. Whenever you define a Quick View, you can specify its data source explicitly. Tables, database views, table joins, logical databases, and even Info Sets, can all serve as data sources for a Quick View. You can only use additional tables and additional fields if you use an Info Set as a data source.
The Quick Viewer uses various controls. Certain hardware and software requirements must also be fulfilled before you can use the Quick Viewer.
To define a Quick View, you select certain fields according to your data source that determine the structure of your report. The report can be executed in basis mode with standard layout or may be edited using drag and drop and the other toolbox functions available in WYSIWYG mode.
Reports created using the Quick Viewer may also be passed to external programs (Excel, for example).
Call the Quick Viewer using System -> Services -> Quick Viewer (or transaction SQVI).
Enter the name of the Quick View. Quick View names can contain a maximum of 14 characters.
Choose Create.
Enter a title for the Quick View and remarks, if you think they are relevant.
If you do not want to base your list on a table, use the possible entries pushbutton in the Data source field to select another data source. You can choose logical databases or Info Sets. In addition, you may also create table joins. For further information, see Selecting a Data Source.
Choose Basis mode if you want to create the list directly with no list design. Choose Layout mode if you want to define the layout of your list yourself.
SQVI Table Quick viewer Used to created quick client dependent reports
Probably the easiest and most flexible way to do this is thru one of the ABAP query transactions.
Transaction SQVI can do this and it has a very good help function that explains how it works... the drawback is that it is only for one user.
You can play around with it and see if it meets your needs...
The query results will come back in an ALV Grid or Excel... you can select what fields are returned, and have a selection screen to enter the search criteria.
You can get the report by joining the tables VBAK and VBAP.
