when i save the purchase order with material a purchase info record is creating with out plant , how can i overcome it

    All SAP Gurus,
    We are very oftenly preparing Import PO.
    During creation of each PO, we are maintaining customs duty (JCDB, JCV1, JECV, J1CV, JEDB, JSDB, JADC) related condition types and its vendor manually.
    We have also tried to insert these condition types (JCDB, JCV1, JECV, J1CV, JEDB, JSDB, JADC) in Purchasing Info Records, but system is giving the error message as 'Condition type JCDB is not in procedure A M RM1002'.
    How, to resolve this.

    Hi,
    Instead of maintaining JCDB, JCV1, JECV, J1CV, JEDB, JSDB, JADC in Purchase Inforecords, mainatin condition records for these condition types in MEK1, here you can also assign Vendor Code of "Customs Office" to these conditions. So you do not have to enter it everytime in PO.
    JCDB     IN:Basic Custom Duty (12% or 7% as applicable)
    JCV1     IN : CVD (16%)
    JECV     IN : Ed Cess on CVD (2%)
    J1CV     IN : H&SECess on CVD (1%)
    JEDB     IN : Ed Cess on BCD (2%)
    JSDB     IN : H&SECess on BCD (1%)
    JADC     Addnl Duty of Custom (4%)
    Create a condition table with field "Purchase Org."
    Create an Access Sequence with this condition table
    Assign this Access Sequence to all above condition types
    And mainatin condition record for all above condition types in MEK1
    Config Path: - SPRO > MM > Purchasing > Conditions > Define Price Determination Process

  • Purchase Info record mandatory to create PO/SA

    Hi,
    Please tell me the user exit in PO to make Purchase Info record mandatory to create Purchase Order or Scheduling Agreement (only for material with material code). No PO/SA for material should be created without any Purchase Info record maintenance.

    Hi,
    Mantain source list check box in the material master record - purchase view.
    Then for this material,  purchase info record and source list both are mandatory.
    With out this, system won't allow further.

  • Mass Creation of Material Group Purchase info record

    Dear All
    Currently we are developing a custom transaction in SAP to mass upload Purchase Info records from a flat file (excel)
    We are using the standard Function Module ME_POST_INFORECORD to create the PIR s
    We use two different number ranges for Material and Material Group PIR s. This is set up already in SPRO>MM>PIR>Define Number Ranges
    Purchasing info record for stock material (Group - IL ) have a number range X
    Purchasing info record for material group (non-stock mat.)(Grpup -IN) have number range Y
    So when we create a Material PIR manually in SAP it picks X number range and  Y number range for Material Group PIR
    But when we create Material Groups PIR via the new custom transaction it creates PIR s with Number range X.
    Upon checking understood that the standard FM ME_POST_INFORECORD is always defaulting the Number Range Group as IL internally . Seems like a harcoding done by SAP
    Wanted to know
    - Is there any another FM we should consider while creating Material Group PIR s. Any other Function module provided by SAP for that ?
    - Or what can be other way to resolve this ?
    Please let me know your views on this.

    For mass upload from flat files you can consider LSMW with different options e.g. IDoc:
    Message Type         INFREC
    Basic Type           INFRECMASS01
    or simply via recording of transaction (this should be using exactly the same NR as you have when doing this manually).

  • Two Purchase Info Records for Same Material & Plant Combination

    Hi,
    2 Purchase Info Records are there for Same Material & Plant for 2 Different Vendors & Net Price is maintained in both Info Records
    1. Material M1 - Plant 1000 - Vendor A - Net Price Rs.4
    2. Material M1 - Plant 2000 - Vendor B - Net Price Rs.3
    Vendor A is Regular Vendor
    (Tick as Regular Vendor is his Purchase Info Record)
    It is observed that Rs.3 is picked up for Costing Purposes
    Requirement is that - Net Price within Pur. Info Record of Regular Vendor i.e Rs. 4 must be picked up always for Costing Puposes.
    Is this possible???
    What Logic system uses while picking up the Price in case where there are 2 Pur. Info Records for same Material & Plant???

  • Purchasing info record for vendor's material number ONLY?

    Hello gurus,
    we have materials that must be ordered with refernce to a contract. We purchase these materials only from one vendor and exclusively using that contract (only one source of supply). We do need purchasing info records to store the vendor's material number.
    Now, the problem is that if we have one contract and a purchasing info record, the system interprets the PIR as a second dource of supply. So, when I create a new PO, the price is automatically taken from the PIR and not from the contract.
    Is it possible to create PIR's for the vendor's material number without creating a second soucre of supply?

    PS: I do know that i can use order lists but that does not solve the problem when manually creating a new PO...

    why dont you maintain the vendors material number already in the contract item?
    why do you create an info record that has a different price than the contract?

  • Purchasing info records for PO-items without material master

    Hi gurus,
    I would like to have the system automatically determine certain settings (e.g. reminder/urging data).
    For PO-items with material master there is no problem, because all information can be stored in the purchasing info record, and are automatically found when I enter the material number.
    For items without material number/master I tried to generate a info record for the material group. When I enter the no. of the info record, everything works fine. But the info record is not automatically found, if I only enter the material group no.
    Is there any way to make the system find the info record by itself?

    How can you create a source list for a material group? I thought this was possible for materials only!?
    Of course, you cannot have more than one info record at a time for a material group. But one would be enough for me...

    Thanks for the advice, but I know how to manually select a info record. The point is, I'd like to have the system determine it according to the material group I enter.

    We have purchase info records for material groups, not material specific. When I create and activate integration model for these info records, no info record is sent to APO. Is there a way to create Transportaiton Lanes automatically in APO?

    In APOPurchase info record is transfered as external procurement relationship.
    Generally Transportation lanes are created automatically for plant to plant transfer when you define special procurement key in MRP view of material master accordingly.
    In case of T. lane for vendor, automatic generation may not work. Still you may try using correct special procurement key + material specific vendor info record..

    you can create by using the same tcode ME11 without mentioning the material number and after entering the relevant data in the screen pleasepress enter and in the next screen enter the materail group.
    Do always mention the order unit as for the material group it is very necessary.
    The order unit and material group are used as a checking criteria.
    When you create Free Text Preq SYSTEM will suggest automatically the info record as a source of supply for the particular material group but it will not suggest automatically for the  free text PO.
    There you have to take the  searchhelp for material groups in the relevant field in the item overview screen where material group and order unit are taken into account for the checking criteria.

  • How to change the Qty Conversion on a Purchase Info Record.

    I am trying to change the Quantity Conversion for a particular Purchase Info Record as it is incorrect.  The inputs are greyed out on the Purchasing Organization1 Data Screen.   I have also gone to the Conditions screen and the Menu Selection is greyed out when I go to the Menu for EXTRAS->Conversion Factors.  The Conversion Factor has been changed at the Additional Data Screen of the Material Master.   Any help would be greatly apprectiated.  Thanks in Advance.

    I have solved this problem.    From the Condition Record I went to the Menu Path, GOTO->ADDITIONAL DATA.  From here I was able to go to the Conversion Factor and make the changes.

    There are so many ways to be analysed for the cause. Because PIR -Purchase info record:
    Please check in order of priority while diagnosing and finding for the solution:
    1. Check wether the PIR is created for the Vendor of that perticular material or not.
    2. Check for the validity (valid upto which date) mentioned in the PIR
    3. Check for the type of Info record (based on Item category) it is such as Standard, Sub contracting, etc

  • Conditions in scale pricing in purchase info record

    Dear Experts,
    Need your valuable inputs on the following issue:
    We have entered into an agreement with a vendor with the following clause:
    1 PAC of material ABC costs Rs. 13000/-
    In every month , the first PAC bought will be priced at Rs 13000/- and any quantity further bought in the same month will be priced at Rs. 6000/- per PAC.
    For example:
    07th July: PO placed for the material at 13000/-
    15th July: Po placed for the material should automatically be at 6000/-
    01st August: PO placed for the material at 13000/- and so on.
    We looked up for Scales in Purchase Info Record and found to be valid only on quantity basis within the validity period of the info record.
    Our concern is how to map the scaling condition for every month, whereby, the pricing of the purchase order in PO is system-dependent.

    I do not think its possible with scale maintain. Scale is used for picking price as per quantity.
    Here, your requirement is against validity. Your price will be fluctuated against validity period.
    You can maintain the price for the validity period as per your requirement in info record.
    But unfortunately you have to maintain the price for every validity period for every months.
    Otherwise you have the option of development, where you can write your own logic for the price picking in PO.

  • Error in CIF for Purchase Info Records

    I am trying to CIF Purchase Info record from R/3 to APO but its getting stuck during activation "generating delta Model".
    Can anyone please help in this regards, I have already read the link related to BD22 but which message type do we need to delete. Also what can be the other reason.
    I have CIFed Plant, material, vendor in the same sequence also I have extended material to vendor manually in APO.
    I have one more issue the vendor code 1000000 in R/3 is getting create as 0001000000 in APO can this cause a problem

    Hi Sanjog ,
    Iam not sure why you are looking at tcode BD22. It is not relevant to PIR transfer .
    Also to CIF the PIR for a material from R/3 to APO, it is not necessary that the material should exist in the vendor location in APO. (You need to create the material at vendor location only if it is required specifically for your business scenario).
    Now , to identify what is causing the problem , you have to check the inbound queue in APO and outbound queue in R/3. The tcodes are SMQ2 and SMQ1. You can also use the queue manager /n/sapapo/cq in APO . Check what the error message is and correct the master data in R/3 accordingly. Then delete all blocked queue entries (/sapapo/cq can be used ) and then run the PIR CIF activation again.

    Can we copy the terms of payment from Purchasing info record in PO instade of Vendor master.
    My requirement is that client want to maintain terms of payment as per Vendor - Material combination in Purchasing info record and same should be appeared while creation of PO.
    I am able to maintain the terms of payment in Pinfo record but same is not getting copied while creation of purchase order thats the issue now.
    I had maintain the terms of payment in condition tab-- addtional data tab but still system is taking the payment terms from vendor master.
