Matrix Layout Width Percentage

Dear Experts,
I have a requirement.
I need to create 4 Transparent Containers:-
- TCO_MAIN (Matrix Header)
- - TCO_RIGHT (Matrix Header)
- - TCO_MIDDLE (Matrix Data)
- - TCO_LEFT (Matrix Data)
TCO_RIGHT, TCO_MIDDLE, and TCO_LEFT are in the TCO_MAIN.
What propeties should i set in order to have these:-
- TCO_RIGHT to occupy 20% of the TCO_MAIN width,
- TCO_MIDDLE to occupy 20% of the TCO_MAIN width, and
- TCO_LEFT to occupy 60% of the TCO_MAIN width.
Thanks.
Tee

Hi Tee,
Try this config:
Layout of all the transparent containers should be Matrix Layout.
TCO_MAIN width 100% Strecthed Horizon
TCO_LEFT width 20%, Go to layout data property and give width as 20%
TCO_MIDDLE width 20%, Go to layout data property and give width as 20%
TCO_RIGHT width 60%. Go to layout data property and give width as 60%
I hope it works.

  • Report Layout width(Report based on SQL Query)

    Is there any way to increase the width of the report layout? I have removed as many columns as I can and dropped the font size down but the data in the columns is still wrapping to more than one line. How can I increase the report layout width, or change the layout to landscape or something similar.
    thanks

    I had this problem with wrapping text. You have to create a Reports From SQL Query and choose a custom layout. Then when you go the the HTML layout section, you will need to ad nowrap to the <TD> tag (i.e. <TD nowrap>) for each field you do not want to wrap.

  • Matrix layout and spreadsheet output 10g r2 reports

    I'm currently developing a couple reports in 10g r2 and using the spreadsheet desformat. It works rather nicely but when I try it on a matrix layout it moves the matrix column(s) over the first cell of the spreadsheet instead of over the matrix cell. Is there a way to correct this issue or a property that I have to set?

    Hi,
    I've recently installed 10gR2 and am interested in using the DESFORMAT=spreadsheet for some existing reports. I've generated the report successfully, however the output in Microsoft Excel look awful - a lot of empty cells. When generated as 'pdf', 'htm' it looks good in the browser.
    Did you do anything speciaI to maintain the format? Were you reports generated from scratch? Is there any reference docs avail (the online-help is pretty vague)...
    I'd appreciate any info that would help get this working (for existing reports).

  • Matrix layout in IC WebClient

    We would like to use the newer and much easier matrix layout in our customised views of the ICWC but this requires DESIGN2003. The IC WebClient is built on DESIGN2002 and this dependency seems deeply imbedded inside the standard IC WebClient application. Simply changing the profile_depend.htm, default.htm, main0.htm and other files to use DESIGN2003 didn't work and results in BSP errors.
    Is this feasible and what is involved?
    Thanks

    Yes, after looking into it more I came up with the same impression. The IC WebClient seems tightly dependent on the DESIGN2002 rendering engine and there doesn't seem to be an upgrade path short of a rewrite of the ICWC in WebDynpro.

  • SSRS 2008 R2 matrix layout issue

    Hi, I am working on a report where I have to report total number of tickets resolved per Resource in a week and I get the total number of tickets from a different table and issues resolved from another and most of the aggregation I do it in my dataset and
    display it as a matrix report.
    The problem I am running into is for instance my layout looks something like below. My data will be I will have 4 records for 2014 week-2 and for each resource will have a Total of 57 tickets and the same for week-3 and when I do the total for Atlanta the
    total I get is 57 * 4 + 39 * 4 instead of staright 57 + 39. Please guide me fix this.
    Region  Year Week Total Resource1 Resource2 Resource3 Resource4
    Atlanta  2014 2      57    16             7               8             12
                        3       39     8             9
    13              1
    Thanks in advance..............

    What is the formula in the total column?
    The layout looks like a matrix, is it?
    How did you add the total column to the matrix/table?
    What fields are returned by the 2 datasets?
    The *4 issue seems to indicate that the dataset that returns total has multiple rows (1 per resource) that includes the same total value for each region/year/week and that the formula in the total cell is summing the values of the dataset rows. If this is
    the case then the issue may be cleared up by simply eliminating the multiple rows in that dataset. That may mean removing the resource field from that dataset's select list or adding the DISTINCT keyword to the select (assuming it is TSQL).

  • Changing Report 6.05 Layout Width

    I need a wider report layout ( say 126 Characters in width)
    not to be resized after Report Wizard execution.
    I changed the layout manually, though, it doesn't feel good.
    If I run Report Wizard to modify the report , it restores the
    default page layout .
    I increased Reports/Max.HorizontalBodyPages parameter and
    re-run the wizard, but it hasn't affected the layout.
    Is an ER out there ?

    You should be able to set the report width in the Report_Open event. Do you use the correct scale? Report width is measured in Twips. There are 1440 Twips per inch, so to get a 6-inch wide report, you set
    Me.Width = 6 * 1440
    Also, if there are lines that are wider than 6 inches you first have to set the line width before you set the report width.

    Namaste Swati,
    To obtain fields as you mentioned, first of all, create a group with 'Layout' set to MatrixLayout.
    I'm considering the fields to be text fields (just for example)
    Create a field T1.1 and T1.2 with default layout Matrix. This will create 2 fields next to each other.
    Now create field T2.1 with layout set to MatrixHeaderData. This will create a field in the next row. Whatever fields you create from now on will be in the second row, with default layout set to Matrix. Create as many fields, such as T2.2, T2.3 and so on.
    For the third row, create a field T3.1 with layout MatrixHeaderData.
    I hope you have got what you want!!

  • Query: Layout Width

    Hello,
    Could I increase the width of my query more then 133 chars?
    If I set it to 162, the system reset it back to 133.
    Any Idea?
    Regards,

    If a list is already displayed with optimized column width in the standard system, you can alter the column width according to your requirements using Change layout. To revert to the optimized column width, choose Settings ---> Columns -->Optimize Width.

  • Matrix Layout in Forms

    I want to represent the query results just as the report editor would in a matrix style.

    Hey, sorry I posted the above message halfway-through by mistake.
    My layout is like this (it appears as follows):
    I want all the textviews (vertically) to be aligned.
    RootUIElementContainer
           Group1
              Label1                              Textview1
              Label2                              Textview2
              Label3                              Textview3
              Label4                              Image1
          Group2
              Label5             Textview4
              Label6             Textview5
              Label7             Textview6
          Group3
              Label8             Textview7
              Label9             Textview8
              Label10           Textview9
          Group4
              Label11                             Textview10
              Table with 2 columns
          Button
    Here Textviews 1,2,3 get aligned (Vertically) properly and so do 4,5,6 & 7,8,9
    But Textview 1,2,3 are not aligned (Vertically) properly with 4,5,6 or with 7,8,9.

  • Width Percentage problem for IE6?

    I have a CSS navigation bar with buttons defined in percentage, placed in a 100% width container.  The buttons add up to 100% in their widths.  This works fine for every browser except IE 6, which seemingly sets all the widths and heights of the buttons to width:auto.  What I'm left with are oddly shaped buttons with terrible spacing throughout the container.  I tried using the following to force hasLayout:
    <!--[if IE 6]>
    wrapper {
    zoom: 1;
    Did I do something wrong or is there a better way to do it?  This did not solve my IE 6 rendering problem.

    It would be so much easier if you posted a URL to your test page.  Without seeing your page and surrounding code (HTML and CSS), it's impossible to guess what you have going on.

  • CFGRID width percentage issue

    Hello people..
    I recently upgraded my CF8 dev environement to CF10 and have noticed a couple issues.  One of which being percentages are no longer supported in HTML formatted CFGRID.  According to the documentation, the width attribute can be: "In HTML format, can be in any valid CSS measurement unit, and a numeric-only value specifies pixels." However that does not seem to be the case.  Is this an error in the documentation or a bug in CF?
    I'm also not the only person to notice:
    http://iknowkungfoo.com/blog/index.cfm/2012/5/10/Upgrading-ColdFusion-CFGRID-has-an-incons istent-width-attribute
    Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

    Here you go..
    <cfquery name="q" datasource="cfartgallery">
    SELECT artID, artistID, artName
    FROM app.art
    ORDER BY artName
    </cfquery>
    <cfform name="frm">
        <cfgrid name="testGrid"
                  query="q"
            height="250"
            appendkey="yes"
            width="100%"
            selectmode="browse"
            enabled="yes"
            visible="yes"
            format="html"
            striperows="yes"
            selectonload="false">
        </cfgrid>
    </cfform>
    just about as basic as you get.. I tested in CF8 works, then in CF10 error: "height/width attribute cannot be a percentage value."

  • Custom Layout - Width Issues

    I have created two custom layouts.  The first has three columns and is only used when there is no DTN Visible.  The second has two columns and is only used when there is a DTN.  Both use the same style sheet and the left column of the first layout is the same width as the DTN (so it appears the same column is used on all pages just with navigation or no navigation.)
    Oh and we are also using a custom innerpage layout which was derived from the existing WAandNAVPanel layout.  (We removed the expand/collapse icons and changed the width of the DTN to align with our masthead image.)
    Everything looks great until I start adding content.  When I add wpc content (paragraphs, link lists) to the right column of the second layout it streches the right column width so it no longer lines up with our masthead images.  This does not occur when adding to the first layout even when using the exact same piece of content.
    Any ideas why this is happening?  I assume it must have something to do with the DTN and Innerpage layout but haven't been able to come up with any conclusive reasoning for what is actually causing the right column to expand.
    Any thoughts/ideas/suggestions are appreciated as we plan to push out the new layouts within the next week!  Thanks in Advance!!)

    For some reason this was very tricky and I ended up having to use Tables and DIVs both in my layouts.  I came out with this - but it works great and does not expand the columns regardless of content:
    <style TYPE="text/css">
    <!--
    td { vertical-align:top; text-align:left; font-family: arial,verdana; font-size: 9pt; overflow:hidden;}
    -->
    </style>
    <lyt:template>
      <table width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
      <tbody valign="top">
      <tr>
      <td width='547px' class='main'>
        <div id='main_content' style='width:547px; text-align:left; overflow=hidden;'>
              <table width="100%" cellspacing="0">
              <tbody>
                   <tr><td class="main"><wpc:container id="a1" /></td></tr>
                   <tr><td class="main"><wpc:container id="a2" /></td></tr>
                   <tr><td class="main"><wpc:container id="a3" /></td></tr>
                   <tr><td class="main"><wpc:container id="a4" /></td></tr>
                   <tr><td class="main"><wpc:container id="a5" /></td></tr>
              </tbody>
              </table>
         </div>
       </td>
        <td width='225px' class='main'>
        <div id='main_content' style='width:225px; text-align:left; overflow=hidden;'>
              <table width="100%" cellspacing="0">
              <tbody>
                   <tr><td class="main"><wpc:container id="b1" /></td></tr>
                   <tr><td class="main"><wpc:container id="b2" /></td></tr>
                   <tr><td class="main"><wpc:container id="b3" /></td></tr>
                   <tr><td class="main"><wpc:container id="b4" /></td></tr>
                   <tr><td class="main"><wpc:container id="b5" /></td></tr>
              </tbody>
              </table>
         </div>

  • Mobile layout width 100% but displaying as 30%???

    site uploaded to here for now
    www.rtepyrography.com
    fluid grid, DW creative cloud, macbook pro
    my .navlistitem, mobile view width is meant to be 100%, its in the code as 100% but displaying as 33%
    Tablet and desktop are displaying at 33% which is what i want. but need mobile at 100% not sure where i went wrong.
    i know one question per post but this could be related so...
    Also .header and .article in mobile and tablet display centred but don't, as asked to, in the desktop view. is this same problem as my width issue? I've written it too but its not working

    The following is what I see at /* Mobile Layout: 480px and below. */
    At the first breakpoint /* Tablet Layout: 481px to 768px. Inherits styles from: Mobile Layout. */ I see
    The at /* Desktop Layout: 769px to a max of 1232px. Inherits styles from: Mobile Layout and Tablet Layout. */ it all looks fine.
    My personal opinion, remove (comment out until you see the effect) the code associated with /* Tablet Layout: 481px to 768px. Inherits styles from: Mobile Layout. */

  • Alternate layout width problem

    Hello,
    After finishing up a design with alternate layouts for tablets and phones, I realized that the content centers great when you initially open the site, and even when you flip back and forth between portrait and landscape orientation. But then it allows you to pinch and zoom out when viewing in landscape mode... When you reorrient the device to portrait it stays zoomed out and the content is no longer centered. Any idea on a fix for this?
    Thanks

    This is not something that is controlled by Muse. This is a browser feature and handled by the device browser. You will see the same behavior in any site you open in device browsers no matter if they are made in Muse or not.
    Hope that clarifies doubts around this.
    Cheers,

  • Matrix Layout

    Hi,
    I have a requirement where the records are based on two tables, viz. DEPT as X axis and GRADES as Y axis. Both these have fixed records.
    Now, for each combination of DEPT and GRADE, I need to display the employee count, like a matrix.
    Any inputs on acheiving this would be appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    You have to get the query in such a way that you have all the details in the output of the query like matrix, then you can map into a table region.
    Thanks,
    With regards,
    Kali.
