Mobile layout width 100% but displaying as 30%???

site uploaded to here for now
www.rtepyrography.com
fluid grid, DW creative cloud, macbook pro
my .navlistitem, mobile view width is meant to be 100%, its in the code as 100% but displaying as 33%
Tablet and desktop are displaying at 33% which is what i want. but need mobile at 100% not sure where i went wrong.
i know one question per post but this could be related so...
Also .header and .article in mobile and tablet display centred but don't, as asked to, in the desktop view. is this same problem as my width issue? I've written it too but its not working

The following is what I see at /* Mobile Layout: 480px and below. */
At the first breakpoint /* Tablet Layout: 481px to 768px. Inherits styles from: Mobile Layout. */ I see
The at /* Desktop Layout: 769px to a max of 1232px. Inherits styles from: Mobile Layout and Tablet Layout. */ it all looks fine.
My personal opinion, remove (comment out until you see the effect) the code associated with /* Tablet Layout: 481px to 768px. Inherits styles from: Mobile Layout. */

  • I have FF 29.0.1 installed on Win7x64. Scale on clrl+0 (100%) , but it makes everything BIGGER!!! All sites displays bigger! Why it work like this?

    What i have to do for it be 100% and displays all sites normal, like all other browsers???

    Try to use Firefox hot keys;
    '''<Control> + (plus)''' = Zoom Bigger<BR>'''<Control> - (minus)''' = Zoom Smaller<BR>
    '''<Control> 0 (zero)''' = Reset Zoom
    You might want to check out;
    '''''[https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/nosquint/?src=external-Add-ons_Manager_Context_Menu-extension NoSquint]''''' {web link}<BR>
    NoSquint allows you to adjust the text-only and full-page (both text and images) zoom levels as well as color settings both globally (for all sites) and per site.

  • IE7 locks onto Mobil layout vs desktop layout

    I am developing a new site and using the fluid grid layout.  I have tested it on my laptop in Firefox v18, Internet Explorer 9, and Chrome v24.  Everything was fine until I tested it on an XP desktop.  Everything looked fine in Firefox v18 on the desktop, however, Internet Explorer 7 did not show the Content1 and Content2 as side by side columns that all the other browsers showed.  In using the IE Developer Tool Bar it shows that the division style for them is width=100%.  In reviewing my css the only place where Content 1 and Content 2 has width=100% is in the Mobile Layout for 480px and below.  The Tablet and Desktop Layout both have those widths below 50%.

    It just seems like IE7 is locking onto the very first section of the css and not moving to the desktop and I just haven't been able to solve this so any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Verne

    I have been doing a lot of looking around for possible solutions to this IE 7 issue with media queries.  While there were a lot of diverse views on the subject I came across an article that seemed to be an easier solution to try than everything else.  I downloaded the js file they recommended, copied and pasted
    <!-- css3-mediaqueries.js for IE less than 9 -->
    <!--[if lt IE 9]>
    <script src="http://css3-mediaqueries-js.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/css3-mediaqueries.js"></script>
    <![endif]-->
    into my document and now IE 7 shows the web page just like FF, IE9, and Chrome does.  It was a super easy fix, even for a novice.
    I hope this helps someone else like it has helped me.
    Thanks,
    Verne

    Hi All,
    I have an image in my page in the header section.
    The problem is that the image displays in Firefox but does not display in Internet Explorer.

    Hi Jari,
    Thanks for the reply.
    This is the code that is in the Region Source of the Header Section :
    <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
    <tr width="100%" align="left" valign="top">
      <td align="right" valign="top">

  • Click issue with s:Datagrid on mobile for iPads with retina displays (only left half is clickable)

    I'm currently testing a Flex mobile application (that was originally made for iPad 2) on high rest iPad fourth generation and iPad Air devices.
    I'm having this strange issue where the s:DataGrid, no matter where I use it in the application, will display correctly, but only the left half is clickable to select rows. The number of columns in the DataGrid is not important, nor is the width of the DataGrid, the problem is always present. As soon as you try to click in the right half, it doesn't work.
    The application uses an applicationDPI of 160, and scales properly on the higher resolution devices.
    So this feels like a bug to me, as if the DataGrid scales properly, but not it's clickable area?
    I have tried a bunch of stuff to see if I could work around this issue, like calling invalidate functions and setting the DataGrid's width dynamically, but no change so far.
    At this point I'm open for any suggestions or ideas...
    Edit: After further testing it seems the same is true for the height. I noticed when I added more rows in the grid. Only the top half of the DataGrid can be clicked. So it really looks like a dimension issue with the clickable area?
    Thanks

    I ended up not using the DataGrid, and decided to use the experimental MobileGrid instead, which is not afflicted with this issue.
    So this issue no longer concerns me.
    BTW the default theme of MobileGrid is dark, but can be lightened up with CSS and by extending the MobileGrid skins, up to a point where I almost can't tell the difference v.s. the DataGrid.
    It also performs better then the DataGrid. since it's based on List. With 300 elements, it scrolled noticeably faster.

  • ADF Mobile: layout problems

    Hi,
    Trying to do this very simple layout with amx:panelGroupLayout fails.
    The halign="start" in a nested amx:panelGroupLayout is not working, halign="start" is centered, halign="end" works!
    Here is the code for my page:

    Hi Frank,
    Not sure i follow that. Let me try with this one,
    I am trying to center a amx:panelGroupLayout in the middle of the page no mater the width og the page (common html layout on the web).
    In that centerede page i have amx:panelGroupLayout´s some which aligne start and some which align center.
    If i remove the halign="center" from the outermost panelgroup the inner aligns work but the amx:panelGroupLayout is then no longer centerede.

  • Muse mobile layout not full size

    When I preview my mobile layout the images are not at full size. Layout size is 320X480(portrait). When I place an image it reaches the sides and shows the red line; however, when I preview the images shrink. Any suggestions?

    Hi
    Does this happens with all images or any specific image.
    Probably this would depend upon image size used on page , or use a rectangle with 100% width and image as fill.
    Thanks,

    I have created two custom layouts.  The first has three columns and is only used when there is no DTN Visible.  The second has two columns and is only used when there is a DTN.  Both use the same style sheet and the left column of the first layout is the same width as the DTN (so it appears the same column is used on all pages just with navigation or no navigation.)
    Oh and we are also using a custom innerpage layout which was derived from the existing WAandNAVPanel layout.  (We removed the expand/collapse icons and changed the width of the DTN to align with our masthead image.)
    Everything looks great until I start adding content.  When I add wpc content (paragraphs, link lists) to the right column of the second layout it streches the right column width so it no longer lines up with our masthead images.  This does not occur when adding to the first layout even when using the exact same piece of content.
    Any ideas why this is happening?  I assume it must have something to do with the DTN and Innerpage layout but haven't been able to come up with any conclusive reasoning for what is actually causing the right column to expand.
    Any thoughts/ideas/suggestions are appreciated as we plan to push out the new layouts within the next week!  Thanks in Advance!!)

    For some reason this was very tricky and I ended up having to use Tables and DIVs both in my layouts.  I came out with this - but it works great and does not expand the columns regardless of content:
    <style TYPE="text/css">
    <!--
    td { vertical-align:top; text-align:left; font-family: arial,verdana; font-size: 9pt; overflow:hidden;}
    -->
    </style>
    <lyt:template>
      <table width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
      <tbody valign="top">
      <tr>
      <td width='547px' class='main'>
        <div id='main_content' style='width:547px; text-align:left; overflow=hidden;'>
              <table width="100%" cellspacing="0">
              <tbody>
                   <tr><td class="main"><wpc:container id="a1" /></td></tr>
                   <tr><td class="main"><wpc:container id="a2" /></td></tr>
                   <tr><td class="main"><wpc:container id="a3" /></td></tr>
                   <tr><td class="main"><wpc:container id="a4" /></td></tr>
                   <tr><td class="main"><wpc:container id="a5" /></td></tr>
              </tbody>
              </table>
         </div>
       </td>
        <td width='225px' class='main'>
        <div id='main_content' style='width:225px; text-align:left; overflow=hidden;'>
              <table width="100%" cellspacing="0">
              <tbody>
                   <tr><td class="main"><wpc:container id="b1" /></td></tr>
                   <tr><td class="main"><wpc:container id="b2" /></td></tr>
                   <tr><td class="main"><wpc:container id="b3" /></td></tr>
                   <tr><td class="main"><wpc:container id="b4" /></td></tr>
                   <tr><td class="main"><wpc:container id="b5" /></td></tr>
              </tbody>
              </table>
         </div>
       </td>
    </tr>
    </tbody>
    </table>

  • Images are no longer scaling with (img {max-width: 100%; }) in css as of update 34.0.5 in firefox, this still works great in IE and chrome.

    My website worked great until firefox update 34.0.5. Now the images will not scale to fit the box anymore. I am using flexbox so that the site scales to fit the size of the browser. In css I set img {max-width:100%;} and this would make the jpg files automatically size to fit the box they were in, but not anymore as Mozilla has really screwed this up with update 34.0.5. My site still works great with IE and Chrome but 70% of my web traffic is using firefox so I really would like this to work in firefox.
    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    I had the same problem, and this worked for me:
    img {max-width:100%; width:100%;}

  • Report Layout width(Report based on SQL Query)

    Is there any way to increase the width of the report layout? I have removed as many columns as I can and dropped the font size down but the data in the columns is still wrapping to more than one line. How can I increase the report layout width, or change the layout to landscape or something similar.
    thanks

    I had this problem with wrapping text. You have to create a Reports From SQL Query and choose a custom layout. Then when you go the the HTML layout section, you will need to ad nowrap to the <TD> tag (i.e. <TD nowrap>) for each field you do not want to wrap.

  • Spry Tabbed Panels overwritting Flash drop down menu in IE but display fine in Firefox

    I am having an issue with Spry Tabbed Panels appearing above
    a Flash drop down menu in IE6 & IE7 but it works fine in
    Firefox. Would someone be able to educate me on what I can do to
    fix this problem. The page that is exhibiting this problem is
    http://us.shuttle.com/performance.aspx
    I’ve add “WMODE” to my flash menu,
    also updated “SpryTabbedPanels.js to version 0.5 –
    pre-release 1.6”, but neither way is
    helping…….

    Thank you very much for the suggestion. Yes, this is how I
    tried:
    .TabbedPanels {
    margin: 0px;
    padding: 0px;
    float: left;
    clear: none;
    width: 100%;
    z-index: 1000;
    I’ve been tried setting Z-index to from 50 to 2000 in
    attached css, but still not working.

  • In Fluid Grid layout, I have hidden 2 div for mobile layout. How do I unhide them?

    In Fluid Grid layout, I have hidden 2 <div> for mobile layout. How do I unhide them?

    Hi there,
    I visited your site using Dreamweaver CC and tested it using the default Desktop, Tablet and Mobile sizes, followed by the Smart Phone Size.
    The CSS you currently have sets the featurest <div> to 'display: none' when viewed on screen sizes lower than 480px:
    Another helpful way to find out what is going on with your CSS is to test the site with Firefox using Web Developer Tools to inspect the element (or alternatively, Adobes Inspect tool). You can right-click the image and "Inspect Element" then resize the browser window so you can see exactly which CSS rule is being applied and overrided.
    My suggestion would be to add an additional media query in Dreamweaver to handle all screen sizes below 480px and then set divs or elements you want to hide or show display property to visible.
    Hope this helps!

  • Using Muse to add a mobile layout to an existing Site?

    I have some customers who already have live sites built outside of Muse who are interested in adding a mobile layout. Is it possible to add a mobile layout with muse to an existing site? I plan on trying this out this weekend but wanted to know if anybody beat me to it.
    Thanks!

    If you're looking to design and publish just a mobile site, you can easily do it through Muse. When you start a new project in Muse you can select the Initial layout to be Phone and begin planning and designing your mobile site. If required, you can later add the Desktop and Tablet layouts to your project as well. Then when you're ready to publish your mobile site (to either Adobe hosting through Business Catalyst or to your own third party host), you can upload the site to a host directory of your choice so as to not touch the existing desktop site files. Alternatively, you always have the option to export the site as HTML and publish it anywhere you like through a FTP client like WinSCP or Filezilla.
    Thanks,

  • Gc_w01_enu_nb.exe extracts to 100% but setup fails instantly in winxp pro

    gc_w01_enu_nb.exe extracts to 100% but setup fails instantly in winxp pro
    I'm trying to install the full featured driver for my psc-1315xi on two WinXP Pro PCs.
    The first one worked perfectly.
    On the second one, when I run the downloaded exe, I get the "Extracting" message, but when it goes up to 100%, the setuup window never opens.  And no error messages are displayed.  I poked around and found a log file that was produced.  It includes the following:
    GetValueByLang( f->c_str(), _T(Version), _T(LanguagesInthisCD) failed
    System LangID = 1033.  mapped to ENU
    ## The system language is ENU, but it isn't on our CD!
    ## We couldn't figure out a language to use, and are returning FALSE from CICECmdLine::GetLanguage()!
    ## GetValueByLang( f->c_str(), _T(Version), _T(LanguagesInthisCD) failed
    Setup returning 1603
    Any help would be appreciated.
    This question was solved.
    View Solution.

    I think I may have solved this problem.
    I have a Windows XP Pro (SP3) PC that was experiencing this issue.
    Immediately after the "extracting" window went to 100% and closed, nothing happened.  The software installer/setup windows never displayed.
    Each time I tried it created a log file that started with this:
    Parsed command line: ".\Setup.exe"
    Using datfile: C:\DOCUME~1\xxxxx\LOCALS~1\Temp\7zS1293\autorun.inf
    ## GetValueByLang( f->c_str(), _T(Version), _T(LanguagesInthisCD) failed
    System LangID = 1033.  mapped to ENU
    ## The system language is ENU, but it isn't on our CD!
    There were other error messages after that, but they all stem from lines 3 and 5.
    Something was preventing the setup program from recognizing that the ENU language files ARE present in this download.
    By comparing two PCs, one with the problem, and one that worked just fine, I saw that the one that was failing had AutoRun disabled via a registry setting.  I temporarily removed this from the registry on the PC that was failing and the setup launched and ran like it was supposed to.  Here are the first few of that log file from the same PC, a few minutes later, where the only difference was that I had removed the offending registry setting:
    Parsed command line: ".\Setup.exe"
    Using datfile: C:\DOCUME~1\xxxxx\LOCALS~1\Temp\7zS1293\autorun.inf
    System LangID = 1033.  mapped to ENU
    We are using the system language=ENU, which is on our CD!
    As you can see, the "(LanguagesInthisCD) failed" message (Line 3) has disappeared, and line 5 (now line 4) shows that it succeeded in recognizing that the ENU language setup files are present.
    So, if you are experiencing this problem and you are comfortable working with the system registry, here's how I got it to work on my PC:
    Start regedit
    Navigate down this tree
    -HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
    - - SOFTWARE
    - - - Microsoft
    - - - - Windows NT
    - - - - - CurrentVersion
    - - - - - - IniFileMapping
    Below that, look to see if there is a key named "Autorun.inf"
    On my PC (the one with this problem) the value for this key was "@SYS: DoesNotExist"
    If your registry has this also, it may be the cause of your problem.
    In the left pane of regedit, right click on Autorun.inf and select "Rename" from the popup menu.
    Change the name to something like "Autorun.inf.hold"
    Close regedit
    At this point I rebooted my PC, but I don't know if that it actually required.
    I ran the downloaded driver file.  It extracted, and the setup program started like it was supposed to.
    When that was done, I went back into regedit and renamed "Autorun.inf.hold" back to "Autorun.inf"
    This was enormously frustrating for me, and (if you need it), I hope this solution works for you.
