Max records for BAPI 'BAPI_PBSRVAPS_GETDETAIL'

Hi All,
Can you suggest me the number of records to be fed to the 'BAPI_PBSRVAPS_GETDETAIL'.
I am using a few location products for 9 key figures.Whenever number of records
in selection table increases BAPI behaves in a strange way and the code written below it does not get executed.
Please guide me to get full points.
Thanks in Advance,

  • Select Max record for the report

    Post Author: ROMZILBER
    CA Forum: WebIntelligence Reporting
    Hello,
Here is our problem we have history data on a table like
    Example
    Data:
    11111   bbb       12/31/2004
    11111   nnn       12/31/2005
    11111   ddd       12/31/2007
On a report we only need to display the most current record (based on a date).
    11111   ddd       12/31/2007
How can we do that, we have try to create subquery but it does not allowed to enter logic for the max date for the same id.  So we are kind of stuck, I am more then sure this would be a very common conditions specially for data warehousing.
    we are on Oracle 10g
Thank you for all your help.

To create a view is not a problem, supporting it is a different story
But we have find a solution, you were correct about the filter.  I just did not know you can put the whole subselect in a  filter
but here is a logic for the filter if someone would come up with the same problem
    tablename.NNNN_PROOF_DT = (SELECT MAX(X.NNNN_PROOF_DT) FROM tablename X  WHERE tablename.NNNN_CLAIM_NUMBER = X.NNNN_CLAIM_NUMBER AND   tablename.NNNN_LINE_CD = X.NNNN_LINE_CD)
please let me know if you have any questions.
sorry I am new to this so please do not take any offense

  • BAPI/FM for creation of CONTACT RECORD for the contract account

    Hi All,
I need to create a contact record for the a contract account.
The contact record details will be maintained in the table BCONT.
Let me know if there is a function module/BAPI/any othere way to create a contact record.
    Regards
    Shiva

    Hi,
You can use the function module - BCONTACT_CREATE to create Contact record
    (or)
make a BDC of the Tcode - BCT1(Contact creation) and use the same for creation of contacts in batch
Note: Contact is created against Business Partner and not Contract Account. So you will have to include your logic of finding out the respective Business Partner for the Contract Account for which you need to create Contact record.

  • Looking for bapi's to create records from custom software

I'm looking for bapi to create
    1. InfoType 15 SubType 3001 (Additional Payments/Days Number)
    2. InfoType 15 SubType 3208 (Additional Payments/Overtime)
I'm tried alot to find in standard bapi's but couldn't find related bapi to create these records.
Kindly help me to use find out a standard bapi.

    hi
if you want to create it using some extrernal software , you will have to define your own bapi or RFC which will call the HR infotype operation function module.

  • FM or BAPI for creating/deleting condition records for an output type

    Hi all,
what is the FM or BAPI for creating and deleting the condition records for a Z(custom) output type.

    You can use trasaction SXDA_TOOLS.....
    object type BUS3003
    program type BINP
    program/method RM06IBI0
but the fields must be sequentially written in the txt, with every space inclusive....

  • Join two tables, return max 1 record for each left

I want to join tables A and B, but I only want to return a maximum of one record for each record on the left.  For example
    Table A
    Bob,1
    John,2
    Jill,3
    Table B
    1,MountainTime
    1,MountainTime
    2,CentralTime
    3,PacificTime
    Result
    Bob,MountainTime
    John,CentralTime
    Jill,PacificTime

    Hi Andrew,
Create a report by joining two tables and insert a group on code(1) and place your fields on goup footer.
This will give only one record.
    Thanks,
    Sastry

  • How to create a data filter for BAPI used in a Distribution Model ?

I am trying to create IDOC's for a QM inspection plan via message type QPMK in ECC 6.0. When creating the new message type in the Distribution Model, it forced me to use a BAPI (MasterInspectionChar) rather that just the message as I have done in the past. In order to ensure that only IDOC's related to a specific plant and material type get sent out, I was trying to create a filter.
I am able to get into a 'Change Filter' dialog by double clicking 'No data filter set' under the node 'MasterInspectionChar.SaveReplica'. However, an attempt to highlight anything on this dialog and clicking button 'Create filter group' results in msg. 'Select node: Content-dependent parameter filtering'.
Online help led me in a different direction, one thread led me to believe I needed to create a table entry for the filter in table TBD16 via BD81 for later attachment to the BAPI in the Distribution Model. Before this, I created two Z* ALE Object Type records for plant and material type in table TBD11 via BD95 for what I thought would provide a lookup back in BD81 for creation of a new filter record, but these objects are not found. Per the help, I am also unclear as to whether I would need to set up Receiver determination or Parameter filtering, nor where to make this step in the configuration happen?
Can anyone point me back in the correct direction to get a data filter set up for this BAPI within the Distribution Model ?
    Thanks - Mike

Just to clarify, what I am having trouble with is finding where exactly to plug in the name of the plant to be filtered? If using a message type such as MATMAS in a distribution model, it is very straight forward to navigate down from the 'Data filter active', and assign a value to whatever field you wish to filter via the 'List of Values'.  But in this example, message type QPMK required use of the BAPI MasterInspectionChar, and therefore the different method in creating the filter.
I cannot find similar functionality when navigating the BAPI related row, for MasterInspectionChar. The 'Change Filter' dialog popup displays a row for 'Container' and then 3 more rows containing 'BAPI structure...'.   Clicking the 'Attribute' checkbox on any of these rows sets 'Data filter active' as a node under the BAPI.  Double clicking the 'Data filter active' brings me back into the same dialog, and selecting any row with an attempt at this point to create a filter results in the 'Select node: content-dependent parameter filtering' warning.  Is this warning occuring because of missing configuration?
    Thanks - Mike

    Hi,
Recording in LSMW is similar as SHDB.
in LSMW after you give Project-Subproject and Object.
1)Go to-> Maintain Object Attributes -> double click
2)Press Display/Change Button at top left to make editable mode.
3)Select radiobuton -> Batch Input -> Give Recording name say Z_mm01
    4) Click the Recording Overview boton on right -> Give TCode which u want to record....
Rest refer the Document link attached.
Please find the links to various threads on the same.

Ok it looks to me that there are more than 20000 rows in your backend system that have to be fetched.
You can change this limit in the Central Management Console . Login as administrator and go to Servers . Double-click on the Crystal Processign server and change the value in the field Database Records Read When Previewing or Refreshing (0 for unlimited) according to your needs. AFter the change you have to restart the Crystal processing server.

  • Max records that retrieves in pdf and excel

    Hi All,
I have one XML report whose output should be viewed in excel/pdf.The report is running fine for few number of records and if the count is very large i.e, more than 6lacs the report is erroring out.To my knowledge i am thinking the pdf/excel will have max records that it can handle so it is ending with warning.
Please can any one help me on this issue.
    Thanks in advance...........
    regards,
    kalyan

Not sure what you mean, I am guessing here a bit.
You probably have issues in Excel 2003 due to the fact that it can't handle this amount ??? If so this is due to the max. 64K row limit excel 2003 has. Try excel 2007 (that doesn't have this limit)

and one more thing i face some issues when doing bdc for AS01, so i use AS91 and AS92 for uploading by using LSMW (direct input method and recording method) and it was successful.(if u have to do coding go for BDC/BAPI or there is no coding better to choose LSMW (it is the easiest way) as of my knowledge, so before starting just analyze once which method is best for ur requirement.

  • Setting max record per page property at runtime (very urgent)

We need to display 7 record for first page and 25 for other pages...
we tried a reperating frame max record per page property is a report level property. So it cannot change for pages.
    Then We try other way..
we seperated our query to the different frame to do these
But we need to summaries some field at page level and
reset at page has fallowing restriction
"A Reset At of Page will not work for reports that have multiple repeating frames associated with a group that is involved in the summary. One common case of this is a matrix report. As a result, matrix reports cannot have page-level summaries."
So all the ways we tried failed.
How can we do this ... it is very urgent. (we can use any version of report.)
    Thanks for your help...

  • Need to pull records for full work week two weeks back

I wanted to pull the results from two date fields and calculate the lapsed time. Both dates in the calculation are from the same field, so I used the command feature in Crystal to differentiate the two
    SELECT max("A"."CREATED_DATE") as installerContactCreatedDate,
    TO_NUMBER("A"."OBJECT_KEY")
    FROM "OMS"."AUDITS" "A"
    WHERE "A"."ATTRIBUTE_NAME" = 'installerContact'
    AND "A"."CREATED_DATE" > SYSDATE - 16
    group by "A"."OBJECT_KEY"
    SELECT max("A"."CREATED_DATE") as dateScheduledCreatedDate,
    TO_NUMBER( "A"."OBJECT_KEY")
      FROM "OMS"."AUDITS" "A"
      WHERE "A"."ATTRIBUTE_NAME" = 'dateScheduled'
    AND "A"."CREATED_DATE" > SYSDATE - 16
    group by "A"."OBJECT_KEY"
Incidently: u201CAND "A"."CREATED_DATE" > SYSDATE u2013 16u201D was used to limit the results from a huge table and u201816u2019 has no real significance other than trying to return the minimal results for the report.
once I had the above I used this:
    datediff("H",{Command.INSTALLERCONTACTCREATEDDATE},{Command_1.DATESCHEDULEDCREATEDDATE})
Now to what I need to do; if I provided too much info I am sorry, I just was hoping to give enough.
I need the results  for a full work week; the catch is I donu2019t need it for the previous week but for two weeks back; i.e. if I ran the report  on Monday the 19th  I want to pull records from the 5th to the 9th
    I know that this formula:
    {Command.INSTALLERCONTACTCREATEDDATE} in
      CurrentDate - DayofWeek(CurrentDate) - 5
    to CurrentDate - DayofWeek(CurrentDate) u2013 1
will pull the prior full business week (m-f); i.e.  ran on Monday the 19th- pulls records for the 12th to 16th, no good for me.
Furthermore, if the field is populated late Friday afternoon and field is not populated until the next week I need to capture that on the following weeks report- eventhough the first part was populated the prior week.
So, report runs Mon. the 19th captures 5th to 9th, but  is populated the 9th and the is not populated til the 12th, 13th, or 14th then that cant show on report for week of 5th to 9th, but on the report for 12th to 16th.
Iu2019d greatly appreciate any assistance and apologize if I made little to no sense when describing my issue.

    Try:
    SELECT max(case when a.attribute_name = 'InstallerContact'
then "A"."CREATED_DATE" else null end) as installerContactCreatedDate,
                 max(case when a.attribute_name = 'dateScheduled'
then "A"."CREATED_DATE" else null end) as dateScheduledCreatedDate,
         TO_NUMBER("A"."OBJECT_KEY")
    FROM "OMS"."AUDITS" "A"
    WHERE
    ("A"."ATTRIBUTE_NAME" = 'installerContact'
       AND "A"."CREATED_DATE" > SYSDATE - 45)
    OR
      ("A"."ATTRIBUTE_NAME" = 'dateScheduled'
       AND "A"."CREATED_DATE" between SYSDATE, - datepart("dw", sysdate) - 13
                                                 and SYSDATE - datepart("dw", sysdate) - 7 )
    group by "A"."OBJECT_KEY"
    having max(case when a.attribute_name = 'dateScheduled'
then "A"."CREATED_DATE" else null end) is not null
(where datepart("DW", <date>) returns the day of week.  It's not clear what DB you are using.)
This assumes that the installer date is within 32 days or so of the scheduled date.  Increase the 45 (or remove the date condition altogether - but that would be very slow on a big table) if that's not the case.
sysdate - datepart() returns the prior Saturday,
subtracting 7 days is the end of your week period (Saturday) two weeks ago,
subtracting 13 is the Sunday of your week period two weeks ago.
The case statement within the max() database aggregate functions will be null, and therefore not effect the results, if the attribute name is not the one we are interested in at the moment.
The having clause will restrict the returned records to those objects scheduled within the week of interest.  (Since the WHERE clause is using an OR, there may be records with installerContact date > 45 days ago, but the dateScheduled is not within our week of interest.  In that case, the max() in the HAVING clause will be null.)
And it's all done with one database query!
    HTH,
    Carl
