Media Manager run time error.
Need lots of help with Blackberry Desktop Manager. When I click on the "media manager" it starts Roxio but then I get a "run-time error message". Any help on that topic?
Then when I am registering or installing my software.........it asks me for a password, but won't let me use the one I am giving them. I am thinking that my son registered us a while back and he cannot remember the password he used. Any help on that topic?
Pretty overwhelmed. And need help!
Sincerely,
Jomarie

It is possible to avoid use of Media Manager and transfer media files directly to the memory card from desktop computer.

Manage query - run time errors
Hi,
we have one user working at one desktop which receives error "run-time error 5" followed by "401 Automation error" when selecting the manage query wizard proceeding from the BPC Excel action pane.
We only have this at one desktop. Any ideas?
DriesHi,
You can check the query run time by using T code RSRT.
1. Go to T code RSRT
2. Give your query name.
3. Click on the "Execute + Debug" tab
4. Various check boxed for Debug options will appear on the screen
5. Under the "Others" node you will find the check box for "Display Statics Data"
6. Check this check box and click on continue.
7. This will execute the query and provide you selection screen if any.
8. Once the query is completely executed, click on "back" button or simply hit F3.
9. This takes you to the "Statistic Data for Query Runtime screen"
10. Here you can take the total of "Duration" column to get the total duration for query execution.
Please refer following link for details:

Database Manager 7.4 run-time error 308
It the Db Manager running fine. Then all of a sudden, something I did I'm sure, I can not get past the initial splash screen prior to the program actually opening I get the following run-time error.
Run-time Error '308' - Invaled property value.
I even uninstalled and re-installed the program which didn't change anything.
Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.
BobThis issue was resolved by uninstalling 7.4 and then installing DB Manager 7.6.03.
Works fine now. Of course the old DB Manager 7.4 work for seveal weeks before breaking.
Thanks,

Run time error while testing a service through transaction SICF/SOAMANAGER
Hi all,
We created a service for publishing the function module in web services through WSDL. When we try to test the service using SICF transaction / SOAMANAGER transaction, we get a run time error.
We are not sure whether any other settings or steps required for testing the web services..
Could you please let us know which steps/configurations we are missing?
Details of the run time error.

Run time Error while executing project infosystem reports (CN41/41N)
Hi,
I would like to inform while running project infosystems reports (CN41/41N / cns41 etc), it is taking long time & most of the time run time errors are coming. I observed due to more objects in projects, run time error is coming. Request you to suggest to fix the issue.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Regards,
Rakesh PradhanHi Rakesh,
The memory which can be managed by the logical database is approx.
100 MB. You can use the following rule of thumb to calculate the
allocated memory of your selection:
[( sum of projectdefinitions + sum of WBS elements + sum of networks and orders ) * 1 KB + ( sum of activities ) * 4 KB ] *2,5 = memory consumption
Further objects - as relationships, capacities, ... will increase
the memory consumption. (see note 107605)
You can find out the number of objects bein used using the "Test selection scope" (CTRL+F12) button in CN41
Other recommendations are:
1) Check the profile (parameter "rdisp/PG_MAXFS") with your Basis
colleague and adjust upwards (Note 133909)
2) Select a smaller range of objects by using status schema
or more dynamic selections. Please review SAP Note 206264.
3) Please review also 107605, which gives you further information
concerning the selection in Project Information System.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Martina

Error analysis
An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_DYNAMIC_OSQL_SEMANTICS', was
not caught in
procedure "SEL_KONDTAB" "(FORM)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING clause.
Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
The reason for the exception is:
An Open SQL clause was specified dynamically. The contained field name
"ALAND" does not exist in any of the database tables from the FROM clause.
How to correct the error
Check the field name in the SELECT clause.
If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to
find an interim solution in an SAP Note.
If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following
keywords:

Edited by: Akshay Dalal on Jan 17, 2009 6:30 AMDear Akshay,
We will NOT be able to provide you with a solution on this forum, because we have no clue what configuration do you have in your system and what user exits or other custom development may have been done in your specific system.
Lakshmipathi has already correctly pointed to a similar post. You might want to get an ABAPer to set a breakpoint just before the error occurs, then he/she might provide you with more information, which may (or may not) be helpful.
There is obviously something wrong in the pricing condition either on configuration level or in a user exit. If you write to SAP (which you should, because it's a standard program), they will ask to connect to your system, because they don't have any chrystal balls over there either.
Just in case - before going any further, try running the program RV80HGEN (in the test system, of course), which re-generates requirements and formulas. Sometimes it helps, although I doubt that it is the case here.
Also if you've used some custom (Z...) fields in the pricing configuration, that's where the problem is most likely. -
Package failed with run time error: " GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED".
Hi,
One of our custom package is failing with run time error " GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED". We are getting this error after refresh. Infact this package is working fine both in production and Dev, but in QA system it giving runtime error.
Here with I am pasting run time error details. Please see...If any one have any idea or clue or if you have faced this kind of error.
Thanks is advance.

You attempted to access an unassigned field symbol
(data segment 32774).
This error may occur if
- You address a typed field symbol before it has been set with
ASSIGN
- You address a field symbol that pointed to the line of an
internal table that was deleted
- You address a field symbol that was previously reset using
UNASSIGN or that pointed to a local field that no
longer exists
- You address a global function interface, although the
respective function module is not active - that is, is
not in the list of active calls. The list of active calls
can be taken from this short dump.
Regards, TrineHi Trine,
the error is about some field you are trying to map using field-simbols, that is diferent in the other system.
Go to the code program in the st22, there you will see when the erros occurs e what field gives the error.

Automatic Retry run-time error step in TestStand
Hi, I am using an instrument at many places in my sequence (let's say 5 times). I am using the Labview instrument driver. Sometimes (every 50 calls), the instrument driver call gives me a run-time error because the instrument is somehow busy. But usually by doing a retry on the step that caused the run-time error, it works. However, in few cases, the instrument is really defective. In order to make my sequence more robust, I want all that handled in TestStand (I want the operator to stay away from the big grey popup. Many of them freaks out when they see this…). I was thinking adding 2 callbacks to my sequence: 1) Post run-time error: a. If local “index” == 1, run cleanupb. If “index” == 0, retry the current step (by manipulating the current step id)c. Incrementing “index” to 12) Post step:a. If step.Result.Status != “Èrror”, ”index” = 0 Index is a local variable in my sequence This algo might work, but is there another way of doing this? You can loop on the failures, but not on the errors.
Thanks
AlexandreAlexandre,
there are many ways to accomplish your task.
Here's a small list:
- Disable default error handling and "do error handling in your sequence" (using gotos with precondition)
- Use the SequenceFilePostStepRuntimeError Callback
- Handle the retry-functionality within your codemodule
I'd suggest you to choose either the second or third option. As Juergen already stated, you can alter the behaviour of TS in regard to runtime errors. The default behaviour displays a dialog asking the operator on how to react. On automated systems, this setting is nonsense, therefore it is suggested to switch to "Run Cleanup". I wouldn't choose any other setting here.
Using the Callback Sequence is nice since it can be used in a very general way and you can call certain alternativ test strategies if the instrument fails to work.
Implementing the error handling within the codemodule nevertheless optimizes execution times and could be better in other aspects as well. But on the other side, you have to deside what should happen if the error cannot be solved by the module itself.....
hope this helps,
Norbert

Runtime Errors CONVT_OVERFLOW
Except. CX_SY_CONVERSION_OVERFLOW
Date and Time 03.05.2010 14:26:31
Short text
Overflow when converting from "-1"
What happened?
Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "SAPLCV120" had to be terminated because it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
What can you do?
Note down which actions and inputs caused the error.
To process the problem further, contact you SAP system
administrator.
Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can look
at and manage termination messages, and you can also
keep them for a long time.
Error analysis
An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_CONVERSION_OVERFLOW', was not
caught in
procedure "SYS_GET_WINDOW_SYSTEM" "(FORM)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING
clause.
Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
The reason for the exception is:
When attempting to convert the value "-1", an overflow occurred.
How to correct the error
If the error occurred in your own ABAP program or in an SAP
program you modified, try to remove the error.
If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to
find an interim solution in an SAP Note.
If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following
keywords:
"CONVT_OVERFLOW" "CX_SY_CONVERSION_OVERFLOW"
"SAPLCV120" or "LCV120F28"
"SYS_GET_WINDOW_SYSTEM"
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and want to send an error
notification to SAP, include the following information:
1. The description of the current problem (short dump)
To save the description, choose "System->List->Save->Local File
(Unconverted)".
2. Corresponding system log
Display the system log by calling transaction SM21.
Restrict the time interval to 10 minutes before and five minutes
after the short dump. Then choose "System->List->Save->Local File
(Unconverted)".
3. If the problem occurs in a problem of your own or a modified SAP
program: The source code of the program
In the editor, choose "Utilities->More
Utilities->Upload/Download->Download".
4. Details about the conditions under which the error occurred or which
actions and input led to the error.
The exception must either be prevented, caught within proedure
"SYS_GET_WINDOW_SYSTEM" "(FORM)", or its possible occurrence must be declared
in the
RAISING clause of the procedure.
To prevent the exception, note the following:
